This paper describes the design and implementation of a System-on-a-Chip (SoC) for face recognition to use in wearable/mobile products. The design flow starts from the system specification to implementation process on silicon. The entire process is carried out using a FPGA-based prototyping platform environment for design and verification of the target SoC. To ensure that the implemented face recognition SoC satisfies the required performances metrics, time analysis and recognition tests were performed. The motivation behind the work is a single chip implementation of face recognition system for target applications.

Recently, most managers of Small & Medium Enterprises(SMEs) think that all problem of a company is solved if only implementation of ERP or e-business. But it's too risky. Technology of IT is developing so radical, so managers didn't have enough time to consider what system is appropriate in their business process and how implement information system is when they establish Information System. This Study addresses the present Information System that operating and needed for SMEs based on the Value Chain of IS. Thus through the prediction on the consequence of IS implementation, we could cut down unnecessary investment cost and support core competence of a company. Next time, the study on the classification of more detail IS associated in SME's performance is required.

The purpose of this study is first, to find out what factors affect the cooperation and trust within the functions in the policy implementation network and in what mechanism these factors interact, second to investigate the whys to manage trust and cooperation successfully in the dynamic situation such as the network setting. For these purpose, this study reviews the concept and characteristics of policy implementation organizations, second, extracts the various factors affecting trust and cooperation in the network situation, third applies and analyzes the relationship among factors to system dynamics model based on the game theory. The results of this study could be summarized as follows: It was found that the utility change within the participants by persuasion ＆ mutual understanding and change of rule would be leading to success in policy implementation network. Also bureaucratic management such as power enforcement does not have any good impact in the managing network. In this study, system simulation method tried to analyze the hypothesis. Quantitative and case analyses were not accompanied and analysis was limited to two-person game theory. So there is some doubt this results could be generalized to actual situation which is N-person game.

As more organizations undertake IT-enabled business process reengineering(BPR), IT-enabled BPR projects become a major concern. Especially, one of IT, Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) is recognized as a revolution solution. But the success cases of ERP project are rarely reported. In this study, ERP implementation is defined as a IS implementation project based on BPR concepts To explore the issues of implementing ERP systems, a company implementing ERP successfully in Korea is selected. The research framework consists of four components: 1) strategic plan dimension , 2) organizational environment dimension, 3) implementation process dimension, and 4) IT dimension. On this framework, to implement ERP systems successfully, the analysis of the results clearly suggests appropriate planning, top management support, change management, appropriate methodology , ERP specialist commitment, management of standard process and master data, and the extent of IT localization.

A finite element implementation of the modified compression field theory (MCFT) using a tangential formulation is presented in this work. Previous work reported on implementations of MCFT has concentrated mainly on secant formulations. This work describes details of the implementation of a modular algorithmic structure of a reinforced concrete constitutive model in nonlinear finite element schemes that use a Jacobian matrix in the solution of the nonlinear system of algebraic equations. The implementation was verified and validated using experimental and analytical data reported in the literature. The developed algorithm, which converges accurately and quickly, can be easily implemented in any finite element code.

The main purpose of the study is to determine the features of the implementation of public authority in the context of modern international security challenges. The fact that public authority is a necessary regulator of the life of society ensures its development, unity, and manageability, which is an important factor in the organization and orderliness of society adds to the actualization of the research topic. The research methodology includes a set of theoretical methods of analysis. Based on the results of the study, key aspects of the implementation of public authority in the context of modern international security challenges were identified. The study has limitations, and they relate to the practical aspect of the implementation of public authority in the context of modern international security challenges.

The purpose of this research was to investigate mathematics teachers' beliefs regarding the implementation of STEM approaches in secondary school mathematics classes and to identify the factors influencing their beliefs. A survey on teachers' beliefs about applying STEM in mathematics classes was developed and distributed online to mathematics teachers from middle and high schools in two metropolitan areas. Eighty-two surveys were returned from the teachers. Factor analysis revealed that the items were distributed among five main aspects. The findings indicated that most teachers believed in the necessity of implementing STEM education. However, some teachers expressed concerns about the effectiveness of implementation due to the lack of materials, resources, and equipment needed for STEM implementation.

This paper aims to analyze the result of SE Process Implementation on Light Rail Transit(LRT) Project. Currently the Light Rail Transit Project of Korea applies SE to the intermediate phase, that is, E&M phase which is a manufacturing and designing procedure. More seriously, the application effect of SE is not remarkable because it applies to some specific engineering fields like RAMS and it depends on superficial consulting of foreign companies with low SE support capability and investment capital. This study points out that the "Requirement Analysis" and "System Alternative Review" has not been conducted from the initial phase (basic plan and basic design) of the LRT projects. Several projects indicate that the amount of investments for SE activities through the Korea LRT project is relatively very small in comparison with the global capital which is about 10% of total project budget. Furthermore, Korea LRT projects have very few SE professionals and weak SE organization with no government directions and guide book for the efficient implementation of SE for the LRT projects.

The controls of Information Systems (IS) have been an more critical issue controls as the sophistication and integration of IS is more proceeded. ITGI (The Information Technology Governance Institute) of ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) has suggested COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and related Technology) and this has been widely recognized the evaluation model of IS controls. In COBIT, IS was evaluated in terms of process, information quality, and IT resources. This study used COBIT in order to suggest and empirically test an evaluation model of IS service. The data was collated from one major Chinese SI (Systems Integration) company in four domains of processes : planning and organization, acquisition and implementation, delivery and support, and monitoring. Seven factors are extracted using an exploratory factor analysis as follows : Overall IT planning process, technological assessment process in IT planning of IT, cost-benefit assessment process in IT planning, implementation process, support process, monitoring process, post-implementation evaluation process. The results of confirmatory analysis of three alternative measurement models indicated that the measurement model with one inherent or conceptual variable has greater model fitness than the other models. This study suggests the logical and general way to test and apply COBIT in evaluating IS services.

본 논문에서는 색 정보 분석기법을 이용한 효율적인 CCTV 영상 보안 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 관하여 기술한다. 기존의 방법에서는 주로 압축 알고리듬과 암호화 기법을 이용하여 데이터 처리 비용을 절감하였다. 그러나 본 논문에는 데이터의 절대량을 감소시키기 위하여 영상 데이터의 중복 요소 제거를 위한 색 정보 분석 기법을 제안한다. 또한 SSL/VPN 터널링 기법을 이용하여 CCTV 영상 보안 시스템의 성능을 향상 시키는 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법을 사용하면 대용량 정보의 효율적인 처리 및 보안 문제를 해결할 수 있으며, 구현 결과를 통하여 처리 대상이 되는 영상 데이터가 대폭 감소됨을 확인하였다.
