  • Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) is a representative food resource. To preserve the integrity of soybean, it is necessary to protect soybean yield and seed quality from threats of various pests and diseases. Riptortus pedestris is a well-known insect pest that causes the greatest loss of soybean yield in South Korea. This pest not only directly reduces yields but also causes disorders and diseases in plant growth. Unfortunately, no resistant soybean resources have been reported. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the distribution and movement of Riptortus pedestris at an early stage to reduce the damage caused by insect pests. Conventionally, the human eye has performed the diagnosis of agronomic traits related to pest outbreaks. However, due to human vision's subjectivity and impermanence, it is time-consuming, requires the assistance of specialists, and is labor-intensive. Therefore, the responses and behavior patterns of Riptortus pedestris to the scent of mixture R were visualized with a 3D model through the perspective of artificial intelligence. The movement patterns of Riptortus pedestris was analyzed by using time-series image data. In addition, classification was performed through visual analysis based on a deep learning model. In the object tracking, implemented using the YOLO series model, the path of the movement of pests shows a negative reaction to a mixture Rina video scene. As a result of 3D modeling using the x, y, and z-axis of the tracked objects, 80% of the subjects showed behavioral patterns consistent with the treatment of mixture R. In addition, these studies are being conducted in the soybean field and it will be possible to preserve the yield of soybeans through the application of a pest control platform to the early stage of soybeans.

  • Copper Filter Dryer (CFD) are responsible for removing impurities from the circulation of refrigerant in refrigeration and cooling systems to maintain clean refrigerant, and defects in CFD can lead to product defects such as leakage and reduced lifespan in refrigeration and cooling systems, making quality assurance essential. In the quality inspection stage, human inspection and defect judgment methods are traditionally used, but these methods are subjective and inaccurate. In this paper, YOLOv7 object detection algorithm was used to detect defects occurring during the CFD Shaft pipe and welding process to replace the existing quality inspection, and the detection performance of F1-Score 0.954 and 0.895 was confirmed. In addition, the cause of defects occurring during the welding process was analyzed by analyzing the sensor data corresponding to the Timestamp of the defect image. This paper proposes a method for manufacturing quality assurance and improvement by detecting defects that occur during CFD process and analyzing their causes.

  • The corporate logo symbolizes the company's value, goals and vision as a visual symbol representing the company. It serves as a communication tool for companies by conveying different messages depending on design and color. As demands for ESG management have recently increased, companies have begun to implicitly demonstrate values such as environmental protection and corporate transparency through logos. Companies use logos as a strategy to visually emphasize the value they pursue and project the desired image as a signal. In this process, stakeholders who see the logo experience cognitive bias. Therefore, this study seeks to find out that ESG value can be indirectly communicated by the design of corporate logos, which can also affect a company's ESG evaluation. In addition, this study will examine the moderate effect that logos expect to encounter a greater bias effect as the companies actively include ESG-related issues in corporate disclosure data. This study conducted an analysis of 617 KOSPI-listed companies using ESG evaluation data from 2020 to 2022. The analysis confirmed the significant relation of the type of logo and ESG disclosure on ESG evaluation but found partially moderate effect of ESG disclosure.

  • Deep learning (DL) offers promising performance in computer vision tasks and is highly suitable for dental image recognition and analysis. We evaluated the accuracy of DL algorithms in identifying and classifying dental implant systems (DISs) using dental imaging. In this systematic review and meta-analysis, we explored the MEDLINE/PubMed, Scopus, Embase, and Google Scholar databases and identified studies published between January 2011 and March 2022. Studies conducted on DL approaches for DIS identification or classification were included, and the accuracy of the DL models was evaluated using panoramic and periapical radiographic images. The quality of the selected studies was assessed using QUADAS-2. This review was registered with PROSPERO (CRDCRD42022309624). From 1,293 identified records, 9 studies were included in this systematic review and meta-analysis. The DL-based implant classification accuracy was no less than 70.75% (95% confidence interval [CI], 65.6%-75.9%) and no higher than 98.19 (95% CI, 97.8%-98.5%). The weighted accuracy was calculated, and the pooled sample size was 46,645, with an overall accuracy of 92.16% (95% CI, 90.8%-93.5%). The risk of bias and applicability concerns were judged as high for most studies, mainly regarding data selection and reference standards. DL models showed high accuracy in identifying and classifying DISs using panoramic and periapical radiographic images. Therefore, DL models are promising prospects for use as decision aids and decision-making tools; however, there are limitations with respect to their application in actual clinical practice.

  • This paper proposes a method to recognize and track drivable lane areas to assist the driver. The main topic is designing a deep-based network that predicts drivable road areas using computer vision and deep learning technology based on images acquired in real time through a camera installed in the center of the windshield inside the vehicle. This study aims to develop a new model trained with data directly obtained from cameras using the YOLO algorithm. It is expected to play a role in assisting the driver's driving by visualizing the exact location of the vehicle on the actual road consistent with the actual image and displaying and tracking the drivable lane area. As a result of the experiment, it was possible to track the drivable road area in most cases, but in bad weather such as heavy rain at night, there were cases where lanes were not accurately recognized, so improvement in model performance is needed to solve this problem.

  • The development of mixed reality (MR) technology has a great influence on the research and development of medical support equipment. In particular, it supports to respond effectively to emergencies occurring in the field. MR technology enables access to first aid and field support by combining virtual information with the real world so that users can see virtual objects in the real world. However, due to the nature of the equipment, there is a limitation in accurately matching virtual objects based on user vision. To improve these limitations, this paper proposes a 3D biometric object recognition and matching algorithm in the MR environment. As a result of the experiment, when a virtual object is rendered and visualized while equipped with an optical-based HMD from the user's side, it was possible to reduce the user's field of view error and eliminate the joint-loss phenomenon during skeleton recognition. The proposed method can reduce errors between the real user's field of view and the virtual image and provide a basis for reducing errors that occur in the process of virtual object recognition and matching. It is expected that this study will contribute to improving the accuracy of the telemedicine support system for first aid.

  • In the field of computer vision, models such as You Look Only Once (YOLO) and ResNet are widely used due to their real-time performance and high accuracy. However, to apply these models in real-world environments, factors such as runtime compatibility, memory usage, computing resources, and real-time conditions must be considered. This study compares the characteristics of three deep model runtimes: ONNX Runtime, TensorRT, and OpenCV DNN, and analyzes their performance on two models. The aim of this paper is to provide criteria for runtime selection for practical applications. The experiments compare runtimes based on the evaluation metrics of time, memory usage, and accuracy for vehicle license plate recognition and classification tasks. The experimental results show that ONNX Runtime excels in complex object detection performance, OpenCV DNN is suitable for environments with limited memory, and TensorRT offers superior execution speed for complex models.

  • Since 1960, minimalism has been one of the fashion phenomenon and turned out in many different ways. After postmodernism which contains negotiation and pluralism, appeared in 1980, there was a new wave of post minimalism that inherited 1960's minimalism. Minimal style which come out of 60's fashion, is marked by simplicity, minimal expression, and monochrome color, and it shows up simple style with no decoration. It opened up a young fashion period, and we saw minimal style in sports wear which utilized simplicity and function with spread of sports in the 70's. And also since 1980, Post-Modern widely influenced the idea about modern culture as well as complicated clothes getting rid of fixed concept, seeking to break the boundary between culture and life which were seek in fashion and personality as well as various characteristic, Accordingly in different ages, The style and image were borrowed from different culture and natural environment mixing the image, cultural phenomena like these appearing in complexity and expression, variety and possibility of new vision was expanded. Since 1980, Fashion has become more gradually diversity, high classed, required of each individuality. The phenomenon of fashion reappearance which was influenced by minimalism is continued to 2000. The Oriental style fashion is still attracted, so The new term "Ethic Minimalism" has appeared along with the trends which is put together. Therefore the purpose of this study is to search the concept and the characteristics of ethnic minimalism, to consider the relationship between minimalism and ethnic minimalism, and reveal the characteristic of ethnic minimalism happened to modern fashion. The study method went through literature research and practice research. The range of this study is oriental fashion spanning of from 1960 to current day. Photo records from this period show well the spirit of the oriental and the personality of minimalism. The oriental representative designer and western representative designer are centered Consequently, The formative characteristics of ethnic minimalism are simple, pure, unbalanced free style and representing the phenomena of compromise, blending oriental and western fashion. Structually, Elements of space and plane are emphasized, colors are restricted, and materials are composed mainly of natural fiber. So, minimalism based on simplicity combined with a structure of oriental spiritual depth and space, It could be called ethnic minimalism as a rational fashion.

  • This study carried out a topographic survey at a small-scale open-pit limestone mine in Korea (the Daesung MDI Seoggyo office) using a popular rotary-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV, Drone, DJI Phantom2 Vision+). 89 sheets of aerial photos could be obtained as a result of performing an automatic flight for 30 minutes under conditions of 100m altitude and 3m/s speed. A total of 34 million cloud points with X, Y, Z-coordinates was extracted from the aerial photos after data processing for correction and matching, then an orthomosaic image and digital surface model with 5m grid spacing could be generated. A comparison of the X, Y, Z-coordinates of 5 ground control points measured by differential global positioning system and those determined by UAV photogrammetry revealed that the root mean squared errors of X, Y, Z-coordinates were around 10cm. Therefore, it is expected that the popular rotary-wing UAV photogrammetry can be effectively utilized in small-scale open-pit mines as a technology that is able to replace or supplement existing topographic surveying equipments.
