NBI용 필라멘트 전원공급 장치를 위한 풀-브리지 DC/DC 컨버터 (Full-Bridge DC/DC Converter for NBI Filament Power Supply)

  • FPS(Filament Power Supply), one of the KSTAR NBI(Neutral Beam Injections) is implemented by full-bridge DC/DC converter. NBI heating device for KSTAR(1.5MW) is developed for heating an ion source of plasma in KSTAR tokmak. The full-bridge DC/DC converter is applied to FPS for isolation with input and output. And FPS is operated with PWM control method which is the most usual method. In this paper, NBI FPS of 4.8kW is simulated by using the PSIM 6.0. And the full-bridge DC/DC converter using IGBTs is fabricated to demonstrate it. The processor DSP 28335 is implemented for digital control.

전력 공급신뢰도 평가를 위한 교육용 소프트웨어 개발 (A Development of Educational Software for Power System Reliability Assessment)

  • This paper is on the development of computer software which can be utilized as a power system analysis tool for reliability assessment education. The input data of the developed software are so simple that even a non-expert easily understand how to use it. The software provides not only reliability indices but also their distributions, moreover, it provides the factors those effect the indices, which made the software even more useful for educational purpose. The developed software utilized Monte-carlo simulation based on the state duration sampling, therefore it can manage various probability distributions such as exponential, Weibull, gamma and lognormal distribution. Within the software, the parameters of the distribution can be decided automatically from its mean and variance, that is another advantage as an educational software.

High-Frequency Zero Current Soft Switching Inverter with Pulse Density Modulation for Induction Heated Roller

  • This paper presents a voltage source type half-bridge series resonant high frequency (HF) inverter for induction heated fixing roller in copy machines. This high-frequency inverter works under zero current soft switching (ZCS) commutation and has wide power regulation range due to employing a pulse density modulation (PDM) scheme. Transient and steady state operating modes of the inverter are presented in this paper together with its PDM-based power regulation system. Experimental operating performances of the developed HF-ZCS inverter as well as power losses and actual efficiency are discussed and compared with computer simulation results.

  • A standalone LED lighting system in using solar energy has been used usually less than 70W of lighting power because of a troublesome installation and maintenance. In this system, as more and more LED lighting power increases, the capacity of photovoltaic panel does proportionally, and to improve the charging efficiency of solar energy, MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking) techniques is used frequently, but the solar tracker is not. In this paper, a solar tracker which traces the light of the sun in varying hour to hour is studied to apply to the standalone LED lighting system. This solar tracker consists of twin axis for tracing the azimuth and altitude respectively, and it has a robust structure with safe mode to stand a strong wind. As a result of analysis, generating efficiency of the traced type has improved on the fixed one 28.84% on average.

전력변환기를 이용한 영구자석 동기전동기용 실시간 시뮬레이터 (Real Time Simulator for a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor with Power Converter)

  • Recently, the real time simulator to develop the inverter drive board and motor control algorithm for high power induction motor and PM synchronous motor is required. In this paper, the real time simulator based on the voltage control for a PM synchronous motor is proposed. The resistor, inductor, and the induced voltage for the modeling of a PM synchronous motor is implemented by the power converter including the LCL filter and the PWM rectifier. The induced voltage of a PM synchronous motor is simulated by the capacitor voltage of the LCL filter, which is controlled by PI voltage controller and the deadbeat current controller. The operation and the simulated characteristics of the proposed real time simulator for a PM synchronous motor is verified by the simulation.

  • Reliability Centered Maintenance(RCM) is one of most widely used methods in the modern power system to schedule a maintenance cycle and determine the priority of inspection. A precedence study for the new structure of rearranged system should be performed due to introduction of additional installation. This paper proposes a new method to evaluate the priority of maintenance and inspection of the power system facilities. In order to calculate that risk index, it is required that the reliability block diagram should be analyzed for the power system. Additionally, a fault cause analysis is also performed through the event-tree analysis.

  • 본 논문은 허브공항으로의 기능을 담당하고 있는 인천국제공항 여객터미널의 전력품질을 측정하고 분석하여 이에 대한 대책에 관하여 방법을 제시하였다. 각 Load Center는 인천국제공항 여객터미널을 운영하는 수용가의 PCC 점이라 할 수 있다. 그러므로 Load Center의 전력품질을 안전하고 안정적으로 유지하는 것이 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 이를 위해 각각의 위치에 있는 부하 측정지점에서 고조파를 측정${\cdot}$분석하여 대책수립을 위한 Filter의 종류를 제시하였다.

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 전력다소비 건물의 전기설비용량, 전력사용실태를 조사하여 통계적 처리를 함으로써 합리적인 수요율과 부등율 기준을 설정하였다. 설정된 수요율과 부등율 기준을 적용하면 설비투자비 감소, 전력손실 감소, 전기요금 절약 및 설비 이용율 개선에 크게 기여할 수 있다. 그러므로 설정된 수요율과 부등율 기준은 이행 관제규정을 개정하기 위하여 활용되어야 할 것이다.

  • In this paper, the reasonable design standard of Demand Factor for large office buildings is introduced that was made by the statistical way considering actual conditions, such as investigated electrical equipment capacity, electrical power consumption, etc. The results are as follows. 1) It is shown that th saving of electrical equipment investment, the decrease of power loss, the improvement of facilities utilization and the decrease of electrical power rates can be contributed by the application of the design standard. 2) The effect of reduction is showed to confirm the practical use of the proposed reference Demand Factor, and also, it is believed that this proposed reference Demand Factor will be useful in electrical equipment operation and planning.

  • 제안한 Taylor모델 개념은 단지 입출력 데이터만을 이용하여 제어기를 설계하기 위해 사용되는데, Taylor모델의 매개변수는 입출력 데이터들을 사용하여 추정되고 제어기는 Taylor모델을 통하여 얻어진다. Taylor모델 근사화의 정확성은 관측창의 크기와Taylor모델의 차수가 커짐에 따라 좋아진다. Taylor모델을 이용한 전력계통의 안정화를 위해 LQR 제어기가 제안되고 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 기존의 방법과의 성능을 비교한다.
