  • When a mobile node moves, MIPv6 operates an authentication process for the new connection. These kinds of frequent binding update and authentication processes cause much traffic and delay the service. To solve this problem, PMIPv6 provides a network-based mobility protocol in order to lessen the load on a mobile node. However, when it is moved from a domain to a domain or in a domain, there still lies a need fDr a new address, so MIPv6's demerit still exists. In IPsec, too, a new negotiation should be made when it is moved to WAN(Wide Area Network). This causes load to the mobile node. In this paper suggests MBB(Make Before Break) system to eliminate disconnections or delays resulted from the address change or renegotiation for security. When the mobile node receives a CoA address, IPsec negotiation gets operated. Its identity is authenticated by sending the identifier used for the prior negotiation to CN(Correspondent Node) through the BID message suggested. After that, negotiation Bets simplified that disconnections can be eliminated, and in the IPsec negotiation, the load on the mobile node can be lessened as well; moreover, two addresses are used for the communication simultaneously, so the probability of packet loss can be reduced.

  • Sociocultural and demographic shifts have resulted in a changing perception of older age. Older women, historically subjected to age-ordering rules of dress, have increasingly refused to be marginalized fashion consumers and have been striving to construct a more positive age identity. Although studies have examined consumers' negotiation of marginalized identities, age identity has not received much attention as a type of marginalized identity. This study argues that Pinterest acts as a platform for identity work by allowing older women to creatively reconstruct their sense of self by saving images and organizing them into thematic boards. Drawing on symbolic interactionism theory and notions of digital self-presentation, this paper seeks to explore the discursive practices that older women employ on Pinterest to resist ageist fashion discourses. The sample consisted of 15 fashion-oriented Pinterest profiles of older women. Netnographic inquiry was employed first to examine what images were saved and what thematic boards were created. Three analytical frameworks for visual data analysis were integrated to further scrutinize the visual texts within the thematic boards. The analyses revealed three main themes-rejecting age, accepting age, and consuming age. The themes that emerged formed the basis for an age identity reconstruction process whereby women attempted to bridge the existing gap between older age and mainstream fashion discourse.

  • The purpose of this study is to make an in-between space considered as an abandoned thing to the central place of commercial area by utilizing it to form the each places' identities. The methodology of the design is not about one complete form but about a continuous process by negotiation. This process is proceeded by holding council between public institution and private owners of the buildings and applied the rules to various cases in similar places in the commercial area. This project has been developed in order to construct a healthy network to connect buildings nearby and programs in a block. This place could provide the ground for public communication between any group to visit this place and make the spatial milieu of the city.

  • This study estimated the causal relationship among leisure identity salience (LIS), leisure constraints negotiation (LCN), and intentions to participate in leisure activity (IPLA). For this, we estimated structural equation models controlled by leisure constraints, and we used data collected from 296 college students residing in Seoul and Kyoung-gi providence. The following was obtained. First, for both groups with high and low levels of leisure constraints, LIS positively caused LCN, and this became more evident for the group with high level of leisure constraint. Second, for the group with low level of leisure constraints, LIS positively and directly caused IPLA, whereas this causal relationship could not observed from the group with high level of leisure constraints. Nevertheless, it indirectly and positively caused IPLA though LCN for the same group. This implies that the mediative role of LCN became more important as the level of leisure constraints became more restrictive. Further, we separately showed that the role of LIS was important in the process of LCN.

  • This article examines the sexualization of place under conditions of the compressed modernization and reflexive cosmopolitanism. In particular, I adopt Michel de Certeau's spatial didactic model of strategy and tactic to investigate the dynamics at play in the gay labelling of a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (Coffee Bean) in South Korea, and explore the 'gaying' that takes place within preconceived heteronormative space. Using interview data, I additionally explore the negotiation tactics and coping mechanisms at work when gays compete with heterosexuals for non-gay place. The results illustrate how gays gay in heteronormative space and how heteronormative space harmoniously embodies gay men. The findings suggest that spatial location and tactic play important roles in stimulating compromise of sexual territory. Gay Bean benefits from being nestled between locations with histories of tolerance, while it also prospers from reflexive cosmopolitan ideals of diversity and acceptance of others. Gay identity and gaying is interpreted as foreign in Korea, which buttresses gay performativity in spaces welcoming of foreigners and so-called "deviance." However, how gaying functions within place relies not only on spatial histories of tolerance outside, but also on the tactics of identity negotiation within. The findings suggest that spatial and tactical conditions induce gay individuals to police other gay-identified individuals when gays gay in so-called heteronormative places.

  • This study aimed to reveal that a local city was recreated by tourism, and to discover a general process in which the regional identity as a tourist destination was reconstructed. Specifically, firstly, this study suggested that the social construction of cultural tourist destinations was composed of a series of dynamic stages such as 'reinterpretation', 'institutionalization', and 'recognition' conceptually. Secondly, the dynamic stages were analyzed on the ethnographic study of Otaru where the movement of preservation of the historical canal was raised and strategies to attract tourism had been implemented. Thirdly, a main mechanism acting on each stage was examined. In conclusion, it was shown that the region was reinterpreted through the politics of identity and the meaning was institutionalized through political and economic negotiation. Moreover, while being established as a constructed authenticity by politics of memory, the regional identity was embedded in the socio-spatial consciousness constantly.

  • IKE, which is the standard key management protocol for IPSEC, is said to have several known problems. To resolve the problems of the IKE, two protocol proposals are being discussed in the IETF. the IKE version 2 and Just Fast Keying protocols. They should satisfy several protocol design requirements such as the protocol simplicity, the endurability against DOS attacks, the degree of the PFS, the identity protection, the cryptographic negotiation, and the authentication methods. In this paper, we summarize the characteristics of these two protocols and try to analyze their implications according to the protocol design requirements.
