Stability Analysis of the Adaptive Input-Output Linearizing Controller (적응 입출력선형화 제어기의 안정성 해석에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the technique of adaptive control based on certainty equivalence for the input-output linearization of nonlinear system is investigated. It is shown that the upper bound of the parameter estimation error can be represented more explicitly than Teel et al's works. Another direct approach, which stows that the adaptive input-output linearing control laws using the normalized identifier yield bounded tracing, is also presented.

  • An adaptive observer which is applicable to discrete linear time invariant systems of ARMA type in the presence of noise is proposed. It first estimates the system parameters of the MA type by applying only the system input to the observer. Then it estimates the output which corresponds to the output of the system without any noise. This is a special case of Suzuki's adaptive observer. This estimated output is applied to Suzuki's adaptive observer to estimate the system parameters of ARMA type and the states. The proposed method can make the estimate errors of the system parameters sufficiently small even in the presence of noise in the system. It can also make the estimate errors of the states of the system sufficiently small when there is no process noise. These properties of the proposed adaptive observer is certified by computer simulation.

  • ISBN is ISO standard numbering system for the off-line books. In 2001, IETF RFC 3187 described the conceptual specification of ISBN as URN. This paper focus on the system architecture, DB content and resolution system of the ISBN supporting system based on the standard system called DDDS which is the standard system described in IETF for URN resolution.

  • ISNI is a relay identifier that can integrate universal archival data and has the advantage of being flexibly applied to various fields compared to ORCID, which is limited to academic researchers, but in Korea, it is overwhelmingly issued to researchers and educators, and its purpose is gradually fading. In particular, overseas, ISNI issuance is active with the active participation of the publishing industry, but in Korea, there is no issuance through the publishing industry. This study was designed to expand the issuance of ISNIs to various fields including the Korean publishing industry. In order to achieve the research objectives, in-depth interviews were conducted with representatives of the existing ISNI-KOREA consortium organizations and potential consortium expansion organizations such as the publishing industry. As a result of the interviews, four policy implications were drawn as a way to revitalize ISNI: reorganizing its own system, strengthening governance, promotion and education, and system linkage. To address these policy implications, we proposed a mid- to long-term development plan centered on four policy goals and 12 key tasks. This study is expected to help the National Library of Korea, which operates the ISNI-KOREA consortium, develop policies related to ISNI activation.

Performance characterization of liquid desiccant system with extended surface (확장표면을 적용한 액체식 제습시스템의 성능특성에 관한 연구)

  • This study presents the new idea of liquid desiccant system with extended surface to reduce the system size. The extended surface is inserted between vertical cooling/heating tubes to increase the mass transfer area, and the liquid desiccant flows through the tube wall and the extended surface. Mathematical models for heat and mass transfer between liquid desiccant and air stream at tube wall and extended surface are provided. Dimensionless design parameters governing heat and mass transfer phenomena around the tube and the extended surface are identifier, and dimensionless operating parameters depicting system operating condition including flow rate ratio between dehumidification/regeneration processes, and mass flow rate ratio between air stream and liquid desiccant are explained. The effects of the parameters on system performance are summarized.

  • Web 2.0 and Semantic Web technology will be merged to be a next generation Web that leads presentation-oriented Web to data-centric Web. In the next generation Web, semantic processing, Web platform, and data fusion are most important technology factors. Among them, Cool URI used for data fusion can provide permanent and human readable URI and it has been already used in Blog system. However, Cool URI is not suitable to I18N environment such as Hangul and it is difficult to be adopted because several encodings are mingled in Korea Web society. In this paper, we discussed technology issues and Cool URI Web component to use Cool URI with Internationalized Resource Identifier (IRI). A proposed approach provides same function regardless of encoding type and supports both file system based and CGI based methods to be easily used from other applications. Results from several test environments show the implemented Web component satisfy the design purpose.

  • This paper describes how to securely bind the identity reference and biometric reference for satisfying security requirements. To overcome the shortcomings of the simple personal authentication method using a password, such as identify theft, a biometric system that utilizes physical and behavioral characteristics of each person has been adopted. In the biometric system, the biometric information itself is personal information, and it can be used as an unique identifier that can identify a particular it vidual when combining with other identity information. As a result, a son, anb it canmethod is required for manipulat canthese information. Consider canthese issues, this paper proposes a biit canmethod uiter son, anand uisecure channels for generating the common identifier and ensuring security of identity reference and biometric reference that are stored in the separated DBs.

A Design of Adaptive Controller based on Immune System (면역시스템에 기반한 적응제어기 설계에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we proposed two types of adaptive control mechanism which is named HIA(Humoral Immune Algorithm) PID and CMIA(Cell-Mediated Immune Algorithm) controller based on biological immune system under engineering point of view. The HIA PID which has real time control scheme is focused on the humoral immunity and the latter which has the self-tuning mechanism is focused on the T-cell regulated immune response. To verify the performance of the proposed controller, some experiments for the control of AGV which is used for the port automation to carry container without human are performed. The experimental results for the control of steering and speed of an AGV system illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme. Moreover, in that results, proposed controllers have better performance than other conventional PID controller and intelligent control method which is the NN(neural network) PID controller.

  • This paper proposes new torque control of an induction motor, which is robust against time verying parameters. The control is based on adaptive vector control with serial block adaptive algorithm. Motor parameters used to estimates slip frequency and torque. Frequency mismatch in the control system detrimentally affects slip frequency estimation and torque response. In order to compensate for degradation of the responses an adaptive identifier for the magnetizing inductance and the secondary time constand is introduced. adaptive vector control system consisted of two subsystems, a vector control system realized on synchronous frame and a parameter identification system on stationary frame. the effectiveness of the proposed method was verified by some digital simulations.

  • This paper presents a parameter adaptive control law that stabilizes and asymptotically regulates any single-input, linear time-invariant, controllable and observable, discrete-time system when only the upper bounds on the order of the system is given. The algorithm presented in this paper comprises basically a nonlinear state feedback law which is represented by functions of the state vector in the controllable subspace of the model, an adaptive identifier of plant parameters which uses inputs and outputs of a certain length, and an adaptive law for feedback gain adjustment. A new psedu-inverse algorithm is used for the adaptive feedback gain adjustment rather than a least-square algorithm. The proposed feedback law results in not only uniform boundedness of the state vector to zero. The superiority of the proposed algorithm over other algorithms is shown through some examples.
