Increasingly, the emphasis in regional Passenger rail Planning is finding ways to more efficiently use existing facilities, with particular attention being Paid to Policies designed to spread Peak-Period travel demand more evenly throughout the week with consideration of train classification. In this context the individual's choice of time to travel is of crucial significance. This paper investigates the use of multinomial logit analysis to model ridership by rail classification using data collected for travel from Seoul to Busan during the one week in October 2004. The Particular model form that was successfully calibrated was the multinomial logit (MNL) model : it describes the choice mechanism that will Permit rail systems and operations to be planned on a more reliable basis. The assumption of independently and identically distributed(IID) error terms in the MNL model leads to its infamous independence from irrelevant alternatives (IIA) property. Relaxation of the IID assumption has been undertaken along a number or isolated dimensions leading to the development of the MNL model. For business and related rail travel patterns, the most important variables of choice were time and frequency to the chosen destination. The calibrated model showed high agreement between observed and Predicted market shares. The model is expected to be of use to railroad authorities in Planning and determining business strategies in the Increasingly competitive environment or regional rail transport.

In this study, the 3D position coordinates were calculated for the targets using DLT and self-calibration bundle adjustment with additional parameters in close-range photogrammetry. And then, the accuracy of the results were analysed. For this purpose, the results of camera calibration and orientation parameters were calculated for each images by performing reference surveying using total station though the composition of experimental conditions attached numerous targets. To analyze the accuracy, 3D position coordinates were calculated for targets that has been identically selected and compared with the reference coordinates obtained from a total station. For the image coordinate measurement of the stereo images, we performed the ellipse fitting procedure for measuring the center point of the circular target. And then, the results were utilized for the image coordinate for targets. As a results from experiments, position coordinates calculated by the stereo images-based photogrammetry have resulted out the deviation of less than an average 4mm within the maximum error range of less than about 1cm. From this result, it is expected that the stereo images-based photogrammetry would be used to field of various close-range photogrammetry required for precise accuracy.

Token ring systems which control to switch the data stream of networks by passing the token have been widely used to medium access controls in many ring or bus topology LANs. The system could be modeled for analysis as single-server-multi-queue system of the cyclic service method. These concepts could be expanded to multi-token ring systems interconnected with single ring consisting of bridges implemented simply to be stored and transmitted. In the proposal for the performance analysis of the interconnected token ring system, in has been assumed M/G/1 queueing model that frame arrivals are the Poisson process at each station queue and frame sizes are independently and identically distributed. And the average time delays were analyzed mathematically for arbitrary frame transferred from source station to destination area. The time delay of the frame transmission could be explained as the sum of the average time which the token passed from arbitrary position to source station, such as the waiting time in the source station transferring the previous arrival frames, and the propagation time from source station to interdestinated point. These delays were given as the sum of the duration from inner and outer bridge queues, the time delays from inner and outer bridge queues, and the time from outer bridge queue to destination station. These results were investigated by varing parameters effected to total time delays. In the results, those factors to be effected to dominant the total time delays were increased were in the cases of the high arrival rates and the high ration of destination of the other outerring. The system were shown the time delays increased exponentially in spite of the priority service policy. In order to decreasing the number of outerrings and increasing the number of nodes in backbone relatively, so the systems could be decreased the total delay in the interconnected token ring system.
The present investigation was performed to purify bombesin-like immunoreactivity (BBS-LI) from the skin of frogs, B. orientalis inhabiting Korea. For extraction of BBS-LI, the fresh skin of 360 g from frogs was immersed in 1,800 ml of 100% methanol and then kept at $4^{\circ}C$ for 5 days. BBS-LI was partially purified by liquid chromatography using an alkaline alumina column followed by a Sephadex G-10 column. BBS-LI was further purified by using sequential HPLC of reversed phase C18 preparation, gel permeation, SP-ion exchange and reversed phase C18 analysis. BBS-LI in fractions of each step was monitored by radioimmunoassay for which bombesin antiserum with a titer of 1 : 188,800 was raised in a guinea pig. Eventually, two different BBS-LI were successfully purified and each BBS-LI showed the following character. 1) BBS-LI was well separated into two peaks in SP-ion exchange HPLC. One (BBS-LI-K1) bound to the column while the other (BBS-LI-K2) did not. 2) BBS-LI-K1, 73.8% of total BBS-LI, was not differentiated from synthetic bombesin in reversed phase C18 analytical and gel permeation HPLC. 3) BBS-LI-K2, 26.2% of total BBS-LI, eluted later than synthetic bombesin in reversed phase C18 analytical HPLC, but it eluted with a retention time identical to that of synthetic bombesin in gel permeation HPLC. 4) The two forms of BBS-LI and synthetic bombesin identically stimulated gastrin release and pancreatic exocrine secretion including volume, protein output and amylase output in anesthetized rats. It is concluded from the above results that the skin of B. orientalis contains two different forms of BBS-LI which are very identical to bombesin immunologically and biologically. In comparison with synthetic bombesin containing 14 amino acid residues, the major form shows quite similar pattern in all HPLC used in the present study, but the minor form exhibits quite different pattern in SP-ion exchange and reversed phase C18 analytical HPLG.

Objectives: Lawsone (1,4 naphthoquinone) is a non redox cycling compound that can be catalyzed by DT diaphorase (DTD) into 1,2,4-trihydroxynaphthalene (THN), which can generate reactive oxygen species by auto oxidation. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the toxicity of the phytomarker 1,4 naphthoquinone and its metabolite THN by using the molecular docking program AutoDock 4. Methods: The 3D structure of ligands such as hydrogen peroxide ($H_2O_2$), nitric oxide synthase (NOS), catalase (CAT), glutathione (GSH), glutathione reductase (GR), glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PDH) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate hydrogen (NADPH) were drawn using hyperchem drawing tools and minimizing the energy of all pdb files with the help of hyperchem by $MM^+$ followed by a semi-empirical (PM3) method. The docking process was studied with ligand molecules to identify suitable dockings at protein binding sites through annealing and genetic simulation algorithms. The program auto dock tools (ADT) was released as an extension suite to the python molecular viewer used to prepare proteins and ligands. Grids centered on active sites were obtained with spacings of $54{\times}55{\times}56$, and a grid spacing of 0.503 was calculated. Comparisons of Global and Local Search Methods in Drug Docking were adopted to determine parameters; a maximum number of 250,000 energy evaluations, a maximum number of generations of 27,000, and mutation and crossover rates of 0.02 and 0.8 were used. The number of docking runs was set to 10. Results: Lawsone and THN can be considered to efficiently bind with NOS, CAT, GSH, GR, G6PDH and NADPH, which has been confirmed through hydrogen bond affinity with the respective amino acids. Conclusion: Naphthoquinone derivatives of lawsone, which can be metabolized into THN by a catalyst DTD, were examined. Lawsone and THN were found to be identically potent molecules for their affinities for selected proteins.
Conventional microgyroscopes of vibrating type require resonant frequency tuning of the driving and sensing modes to achieve high sensitivity. These tuning conditions depend on each fabricated microgyroscopes, even though the microgyroscopes are identically designed. A new micromachined resonator, which is applicable to microgyroscopes with self-toning characteristics, is presented. Since the laterally driven two degrees of freedom (2DOF) resonator was designed as a symmetric structure with identical stiffness in two orthogonal axes, the resonator is applicable to vibrating microgyroscopes, which do not need mode tuning. A dynamic model of the resonator was derived considering gyroscopic application. The dynamic model was evaluated by experimental comparison with fabricated resonators. The microgyroscopes were fabricated using a simple 2-mask-process of a single polysilicon layer deposited on an insulator layer. The feasibility of the resonator as a vibrating microgyroscopes with self-tuning capability is discussed. The fabricated resonators of a particular design have process-induced non-uniformities that cause different resonant frequencies. For several resonators, the standard deviations of the driving and sensing frequencies were as high as 1232Hz and 1214Hz, whereas the experimental average detuning frequency was 91.75Hz. The minimum detuned frequency was 68Hz with $0.034mVsec/^{\circ}$ sensitivity. The sensitivity of the microgyroscopes was low due to process-induced non-uniformity; the angular rate bandwidth, however, was wide. This resonator could be successfully applicable to a vibrating microgyroscopes with high sensitivity, if improvements in uniformity of the fabrication process are achieved. Further developments in improved integrated circuits are expected to lower the noise level even more.

For the investigation of microbiological and immunological specificity of Bacteroides gingivalis, Bacteroides gingivalis were isolated, enumerated and characterized from 13 Korean rapidly progressive periodontitis and 7 healthy control by anaerobic culture technique. The total proportion of black-pigmented Bacteroides from Korean R.P.P. patients and healthy control were 8.78% and 0.92%, respectively, among total isolated black-pigmented Bacteroides. In antibiotic susceptibility test, Bacteroides gingivalis isolated from R.P.P. patients were sensitive to Ampicillin and Tetracycline, and resistant to Gentamicin and Erythromycin in disc diffusion method. In antibiotic broth dilution method, the minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) to Bacteroides gingivalis was 2 unit/ml of Penicillin and $0.25{\sim}1{\mu}g/ml$ of Tetracycline, respectively. The concentration of serum IgG in rapidly progressive periodontitis patients were sigificantly higher than that of healthy control, and concentration of diluted gingival crevicular IgG has not any significant differences between two groups. Serum and gingival crevicular IgG antibody to Bacteroides gingivalis were significantly higher titer in rapidly progressive periodontitis patients to compare with healthy control. The lipopolysaccharide profiles of 2 Korean B. gingivalis in silver stained sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis were similar to type strains of B. gingivalis and typical LPS band were appeared around the 24-Kd molecular weight. Immunodiffusion test and immunoelectrophoresis of the L.P.S. extracted from 2 Korean B. gingivalis and 2 kinds of type strains of B. gingivalis showed that B. gingivalis Korean-1 was reacted identically to B. gingivalis ATCC 33277. In trypsin and ${\alpha}$-glucosidase activity test of 2 Korean B. gingivalis, both of them revealed positive trypsin and negative ${\alpha}$-glucosidase activity, respectively. These investigation suggested that B. gingivalis is important pathogenic plaque bacteria for the pathogenesis of periodontitis and further study is needed to purify and characterize of the species-specific antigens of this organisms to develop monoclonal antibody and potential diagnostic reagents.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the red fluorescence characteristics of bacterial dental deposits assessed by quantitative light-induced fluorescence (QLF) technology and confirm whether the red fluorescence can distinguish and evaluate quantitatively accumulation of bacterial dental deposits. Methods: This retrospective cross-sectional study used QLF images captured at a dental clinic from January to December 2016. In each QLF image, a skilled examiner selected one region where the presence of deposits was suspected. Then, the regions were classified into three groups of not detectable deposits(ND), half detectable deposits (HD), and full detectable deposits (FD) by two examiners according to classification criteria. Only those images where the regions of bacterial dental deposits were classified identically by all examiners were used for analysis. The mean red fluorescence intensity (RFI) was defined as the mean value of R/G for all pixels in the regions. The RFI was compared between groups using Welch's ANOVA test, and the Spearman correlation was calculated to assess the association between RFI and accumulation of deposits. Results: In this study, 351 images among the collected images of 605 subjects were finally selected. The mean age of subjects was about 44 years. The R/G values of the ND, HD and FD were 0.73, 1.26 and 1.83 respectively. There were significant differences between all groups (p<0.001), and strong positive correlation was identified between the R/G value and the accumulation of deposits (r = 0.90, p<0.001). Conclusion: The intensity of red fluorescence as observed in the QLF images correlated well with the accumulation maturation of the deposits, which indicates that the QLF technology can be used to evaluate the status of oral hygiene.

Changes in water depth caused by underwater earthquakes and landslides cause sea surface undulations, which in turn propagate to the coast and result in significant damage as wave heights normally increase due to the wave shoaling process. Various types of numerical models have been developed to simulate the generation and propagation of tsunami waves. Most of tsunami models determine the initial surface of the water based on the assumption that the movement of the seabed is immediately and identically transmitted to the sea surface. However, this approach does not take into account the characteristics of underwater earthquakes that occur with time history and spatial variation. Thus, such an incomplete description on the initial generation of tsunami waves is totally reflected in the error during the simulation. In this study, the analytical solution proposed by Hammack (1973) was applied in the tsunami model in order to simulate the generation of initial water surface elevation by the change of water depth with time history and its propagation. The developed solution is expected to identify the relationship among various type of seabed motions, initial surface undulations, and wave speeds of elevated water surfaces.

Technology evaluation is to assess the ability of technology commercialization entities to generate profits by using the subject technology, and domestic technology evaluation agencies have established and implemented their own evaluation systems. In particular, the recently developed technology evaluation model in the fields of marine and fishery does not sufficiently reflect the poor environment for technology development compared to other industries, so it does not pass the level of T4 rating, which is considered appropriate for investment. This is recognized as a challenge that occurs when the common evaluation indicators and evaluation scales used in other industries, and when the scoring system for T1 to T10 grading is similarly or identically utilized. Therefore, through this study, we intend to secure the appropriateness and reliability of the results of the comprehensive rating calculation by developing technology evaluation models and indicators that well explain the nine marine and fisheries industry classification systems. Based on KED and technology evaluation case data, AHP-based index weighting and Monte Carlo simulation-based rating system are applied and the results of case studies are verified. Through the proposed model, we aim to enhance the usability of R&D and commercialization support programs based on fast, convenient and objective evaluation results by applying to upcoming technology evaluation cases.
