  • The schedule hierarchy in construction project is generally composed of three levels. The highest level is a milestone schedule and represented by Bar Chart format. The middle level is an integrated project schedule (IPS) and represented by CPM (Critical Path Method) format. The lowest level is a detail working schedule and usually represented by Bar Chart. The traditional scheduling techniques such as ADM (Arrow Diagramming Method) or PDM (Precedence Diagramming Method) cannot represent all kinds of schedule within schedule hierarchy as identical schedule format. However, the BDM (Beeline Diagramming Method) technique can represent all kinds of schedule within schedule hierarchy as identical CPM format. This paper describes the basic concept, principle, interpretation methods, and schedule computation methods of the BDM as a new networking technique that can represent all kinds of overlapping relationships between activities, and then presents an example of representing three level's schedules within schedule hierarchy by the BDM technique.

Four New Furanosesquiterpenes Isolated from the Marine Sponge Dysidea species

  • From a marine sponge Dysidea species, four new furanosesquiterterpenoids were isolated and characterized. Their structural elucidation was achieved through an extensive analysis employing NMR, MS data, and DFT method. Notably, all compounds shared as identical molecular formula. Compound 2 was identified as a derivative of compound 1, while compounds 3 and 4 exhibited an identical planar structure. Determination of the configurations of chiral centers in compounds 1 and 2 involved a comparative analysis between measured and calculated ECD spectra, along with the application of DP4+ probability analysis. Distinctly, the configurations of isomers 3 and 4 were established by scrutinizing proton chemical shifts based on the NOE correlation.

스커트와 슬랙스의 의복착용습관이 인체의 체온조절에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Clothing Habit on Thermoregulation of Body A Comparative Study of Skirt and Slacks)

  • This study focusses on how the skirt or slacks wearing habit affects the female physiology in her daily life. The healthy female college students have been trained to wear either skirt (group A) or slacks (group B) from late August to early January in order to study the effects of clothing habit on thermoregulatory responses. Also, the themoregulatory responses have been compared the healthy students groups with a physical trained students group (group C) to examine the effects of clothing habit. The changes in body temperatures of students have been studied under the cool environmental condition (15$\pm$1$^{\circ}C$, 60$\pm$5% RH, 0.25 m/sec). The results were as follows: 1. Rectal temperature of the group A was 0.4$^{\circ}C$ lower at 36.9$^{\circ}C$ than that of the group B The groups A and B were found identical before the training, while the groups A and C were identical after the training. 2. Mean skin temperature of the group A was 1.2$^{\circ}C$ lower than that of the group B. The groups A and C were identical after the training. 3. The thermal sensation was reflected to be cool by the group A and to be cold by the group B. As for the humidity sensation, the group A felt average, whereas the group B reported between average and slightly humid. In the case of comfort sensation, the group A felt average, while the group B felt between average and slightly uncomfortable. In summary, the 18 weeks of training has provided the skirt group an improved acclimatization to the cold environment . This group also showed an insulative-hypothermic adapta lion in a cold ambient temperature, as was the case for the physical trained group. It is concluded that wearing a skirt for a long period of time can be helpful to human body through gaining of thermoregulatory abilities.

이중 경로 십진 부동소수점 가산기 설계 (Design of Dual-Path Decimal Floating-Point Adder)

  • 본 논문에서는 동일한 크기의 지수를 갖는 십진 부동소수점 오퍼랜드의 가산 및 감산연산을 빠르게 하기 위해, 두 개의 데이터 경로를 가지는 십진 부동소수점 가산기를 제안한다. 제안된 십진 부동소수점 가산기는 L. K. Wang의 오퍼랜드 정렬 계획을 사용하지만 오퍼랜드의 지수 크기가 같을 경우 정밀도를 보장하는 범위 내에서 속도 향상을 위해 고속의 데이터 경로를 통해 연산한다. 제안된 가산기의 성능 평가를 위해 Design Compiler에서 SMIC사의 $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS 공정 테크놀로지 라이브러리를 이용하여 합성하였다. 합성 결과 면적은 L. K. Wang의 가산기와 비교하여 8.26% 증가하였지만 전체 임계경로의 지연시간이 10.54% 감소하였다. 또한 같은 크기의 지수를 가지는 오퍼랜드를 연산할 때는 임계경로보다 13.65% 단축된 경로에서 연산을 수행하는 것을 확인하였다. 제안한 십진 부동소수점 가산기 구조는 동일 크기의 지수를 가지는 오퍼랜드의 비중이 2% 이상일 때 L. K. Wang의 가산기 구조 대비 효용성이 높다.

다결정실리콘 표면 미세가공 기술을 위한 점착 방지법들의 성능 비교 (The Comparison of Stiction Results of Anti-Stiction Methods for Polysilicon Surface Micromachining)

  • 본 연구에서는 동일한 테스트 구조물을 사용하여 현재 다결정실리콘 표면 미세가공 기술에서 널리 사용되고 있는 여러 가지 점착 방지법들의 성능을 비교하였다. 테스트 구조물로는 다양한 폭과 길이를 갖는 일반적인 cantilever와 dimple, antistiction tip, plate를 가지는 cantilever를 사용하였으며 구조물 형태에 따른 점착 방지 결과를 관찰하였다. 희생층 제거 후 구조물과 기판의 점착을 결정하는 건조과정에서는 증발법과 승화건조법을 사용하였다. 증발법에서는 methanol, IPA, DI water 등을 여러 최종 세척액으로 사용하여 표면장력과 세척 온도에 따른 점착 방지 결과를 비교하였다. 승화건조법에서는 중간 세척액으로 methanol을 사용하였다. 그리고 동일한 실험조건으로 stress gradient가 있는 동일한 구조물을 사용하여 stress gradient에 의한 점착 방지 결과를 관찰하였다. 결론적으로 승화건조법이 여러 가지 증발법보다 우수한 결과를 보여주었고 다결정 실리콘 표면 미세가공 기술로 미세 구조물을 부양시킬 때 승화건조법이 가장 우수한 방법이라고 사료된다.

HEVC의 GPB 슬라이스에서 양예측 모드의 동일 움직임 정보에 대한 성능 향상 방안 (Coding Efficiency Improvement for Identical Motion Information of Bi-prediction Mode within the GPB Slcice of HEVC)

  • 본 논문에서는 현재 표준화가 진행 중인 HEVC(High Efficiency Video Coding)에서 양예측(bi-predictive)모드에 존재하는 문제점을 거론하고 문제점에 대한 해결방안을 제시하여 부호화 효율을 증가시키고 계산 복잡도를 감소시키는 방법을 제안한다. 현재 HM 3.0에서는 양예측을 사용하는 블록에서 L0 움직임 정보와 L1 움직임 정보가 동일해지는 경우가 빈번히 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 현상이 발생하는 경우 L1의 움직임 벡터를 현재 블록의 주변 블록의 (0,0)이 아닌 L0 움직임 벡터로 대체 하고, 여전히 L0 움직임 벡터와 L1 움직임 벡터가 동일할 경우 예측모드를 단예측으로 변경하여 부호화 성능을 향상 시키고 계산 복잡도를 감소시키는 방법을 제안하였다. 실험 결과, LD(Low-Delay) 실험조건의 경우 기존 대비 복호화기의 수행시간을 2% ~ 5% 감소시키고 부호화 성능을 약 0.3% ~ 0.5% 향상 시켰다.

건축재료에서 발생되는 석면입자의 특성 연구 (The Characteristics of Dispersed Asbestos Fibers Produced From Building Materials)

  • This paper describes the results of a systematic study to determine the characteristics of particle generated from various types of asbestos containing material(ACM) and manmade fiber material(MMFM) during operations of cutting and grinding in laboratory and workplace. Tests were conducted with a specially designed glove box which allowed complete sampling of the generated asbestos fibers. Specificially, air measurements were made during ACM and MMFM installation in building. All personal air samples collected were identified by polarized light microscopy(PLM), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscope with energy dispersive X-ray analysis(SEM/EDXA). Also, the samples were counted by phase contrast microscope(PCM) in order to compare the results with the permissible exposure standard for workplace. Results indicate that the characterisitcs of fibers found in the roofing sheet, the ceiling and the wall insulation boards were identical to those of asbestos, while the characteristics of fibers found in the ceiling insulation board, the floor tile and the sprayed on insulation products in parking area were identical to those of asbestos, while the characteristics of fibers found in the ceiling insulation board, the floor tile and the sprayed on insulation products in parking area were identical to those of rock wool. The concentrations of airborne fibers from various building materials cut by a grinder for 5 minutes were in the ranges of 0.09 $\sim$ 1.71 fibers/cc(f/cc). The highest concentration(1.71f/cc) was found during grinding the wall insulation board which also contains rock wool. The airborne fiber concentrations generated by installing at workplace were ranged from 0.0009 to 0.029 f/cc. All asbestos fibers from the ceiling insulation board at workplace were less than 20$\mu$m in length and more than 20% of them had the average aspect ratio greater than 20. Therefore, for the purpose of decreasing asbestos and man-made fiber concentrations at the workplace, the ceiling and wall board should use strong binding material to increase the binding force with fiber. Also, the permissible exposure standard for workplace(2.0f/cc) in Korea should be constituted below the maximum avaiable concentration measured at glove box.
