  • This study was conducted to analyze the contents of the e-book and detail the properties of e-book experience. was written by Anthony E. Zuiker who is famous for American TV series C.S.I. is a thriller and is published for the iPad. This e-book provides three levels of interaction within the book. Zuiker calls this e-book a "Digi-Novel". The readers can choose the level of interaction:novel, digi-novel or ultimate digi-novel. The basic background story is the same. So we can compare the difference of reading experience of three levels. Digi-Novel are differentiated from other e-books through their complex characters. Consequently a well-throughout detailed background story is very important for Digi-Novels. In addition, it enrich the reading experience through the interactive elements and multimedia functions of iPad. Readers can interact with clues, manipulate evidence and listen to audio sounds. This serves to immerse the readers much more deeply in the reading experience and makes readers feel like they are a part of story.

  • The purpose of this study is to inquire the people's views on nursing for nurses, correct the image of nurse and take it as basis to be applied on nursing education examining the image of nursing on Television drama playing important role of mass media. 22 nurses of the characters in drama is applied to the analysis object of this study by selecting 6 dramas of Television ones the nurse play on the prime time from June 1 to August 31 in 1997. Contents analysis method was used in Data Analysis, 4 items was used after Coders previously modify and compensate it based on research documents of 1m Milim(1996) 2 Coders made the Coding the article on each person by them seeing the recorded film making the Coding Paper each items is written by the character. The average of reliability degree was 90% which measured the reliability degree by the mathod of Holsti. The statisic method of frequency, percentage was used SPSS Program in data processing The results were as follows. 1. Relative importance of 86.2% nurses in drama was depicted as extra characters 2. The affair attitude of nurses shown on drama was revealed as mechanical(84.7%), passive(45.5%), dependent(54.4%) unkind(68.2%). 3. The activity of nurses was classified with professional! simple affair. The professional affairs such as I.V., Blood Pressure Check, Rounding, Nursing Recording, Patient Education, Assist of Operation, Assistant meal of Patient, etc is mainly depicted and the screen of simple affair such as Receiving telephone, Carrying Tray or Dragging, Stretcher Car, Dressing Car and or Wheel Chair than professional affair. 4. The appearance feature of nurses was shown on thin physique(68.2%), common stature(68.2), dirty costume(45.4%), common appearance(81.9%), unnoble action(63.6%). The image of nurses is illuminated as the exterial scene of technical affair such as assisting the doctors and affair focused on accident and educational activity of nureses or extended role is nor depicted on Television drama. Therefore, the people regard the nurse as sexual object with good appearance than professional worker working professional nursing We want the following, epigraph based on above conclusion. 1. The continuous research is required on the image of nurse shown on various mass media. 2. The later research is required on appliction strategy of mass media for advancing the image of nurse. 3. • This paper proposes a system called Wireless Link based on Global Communication Channel (WLGCC) to enhance the spectrum sharing between digital broadcasting (DB) services and the cognitive radio (CR) system in the licensed band of 470-790 MHz. The WLGCC aims to enhance the spectrum sensing and geolocation database (GLD) spectrum sharing methods in the CR system. Spectrum sensing can be enhanced by receiving the status of the used frequencies from the WLGCC, thereby eliminating the need for a low detection threshold (i.e., avoiding the hidden node problem). In addition, the GLD can be enhanced by providing a reliable communication link between the database and the CR device in the form of an unused TV white space that is reserved as the proposed Global Communication Channel (GCC). This paper analyzes the coexistence of the new WLGCC system and the DB service in terms of avoiding additional interference. Specifically, we mathematically determine the WLGCC parameters, such as the in-band and out-of-band power levels, and operation coverage, and verify them using Monte Carlo simulation. The results show that WLGCC does not degrade the existing DB service and reliably transmits information of the vacant (or used) frequency bands to the CR.

  • To get an implication for desirable direction for Collaboration between Reporter & Producer, I found that had 4 modes of collaboration such as, Producer System, Reporter System, Double Reporting System, Co-Work System, and each was distinguished by field cover, on-mic, editing, writing. Producer system and Reporter system got no chemical synergy because of simple array of single reports due to physical assemble. The achievements of collaboration was birth of new news which had different duration, visual, sound & perspective. It also offered fertile soil for new program and genre literacy of 8 o'clock news. The success factor of collaboration was surprisingly turned out to be personnel rather than system. The balance of reporter & producer was also good factor. But the wall between 2 groups was so high that, after disappearance of extraordinary leader, system began to crumble and at last program was repealed.

  • Asia has shown a tendency that a certain country's culture leads the fashion in turn every 10 years. The trend of Hong Kong movies in 1980's was called 'Hong Kong Wave', the trend of Japanese animation and games in 1990's was called 'Japanese Wave', and then the 'Korean Wave' began in the late 1990's. This term '~Wave(流)' is a Japanese-style term meaning '~way', '~style', '~group', and so on. In the same manner, recent popularity of Taiwanese TV dramas and a particular star that is in fashion in Japan are called 'Taiwanese Wave', and Chinese movies, broadcast, tourism, and etc. are called 'Chinese Wave'. Thus, the term 'Korean Wave' is a part of expression '~wave' used in Japan and it started to be used in the mean time, and was officially used in <韓流-Song from Korea>, a promotion record of Korean pop music, produced by Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Korea. In this paper I propose to correct the error of the term 'Korean Wave', and furthermore, to define a term expressing Korean culture and study for its usage.

  • The objective of this study is to present a prototype of organic content, using 3 Screen as the basic concept, and to examine the possible applications of such models. Organic content is something with the characteristics of an organism, which adapts to each unit while maintaining connectivity without losing identity, according to the situation of the user and the characteristics of each unit, opposed to contents that exist without connectivity among units. To this end, I produced a prototype called "Fishing Phone," which crosses over TV, 모바일 and PC. In the Fishing Phone, the fish adapts to each unit as it interacts differently with users while maintaining its own identity. It is an organic content that travels freely through the 3Screen. Fishing Phone was created by using technology and products widely used and serviced today, such as WiFi, java networking, flash player 7, omnia2, and space censors. It demonstrates that organic content can transcend the limitations of space in existing contents, generating new value, realizing complex interaction, and ultimately providing advanced applications for marketing.

  • Nowadays, smart meter (SM) technology is widely effectively used. In addition, power allocation (PA) and channel selection (CS) are considered problems with many proposed approaches. In this paper, we will suggest a specific scenario for an SM configuration system and show how to solve the optimization problem for transmission between SMs and the data concentrator unit (DCU), the center that collects the data from several SMs, via simulation. An efficient CS with PA scheme is proposed in the TV white space system, which uses the TV band spectrum. On the basic of the optimal configuration requirements, SMs can have a transmission schedule and channel selection to obtain the optimal efficiency of using spectrum resources when transmitting data to the DCU. The optimal goals discussed in this paper are the maximum capacity or maximum channel efficiency and the maximum allowable power of the SMs used to satisfy the quality of service without harm to another wireless system. In addition, minimization of the interference to the digital television system and other SMs is also important and needs to be considered when the solving coexistence scenario. Further, we propose a process that performs an interference analysis scheme by using the spectrum engineering advanced Monte Carlo analysis tool (SEAMCAT), which is an integrated software tool based on a Monte-Carlo simulation method. Briefly, the process is as follows: The optimization process implemented by genetic evolution optimization engines, i.e., a genetic algorithm, will calculate the best configuration for the SM system on the basis of the interference limitation for each SM by SEAMCAT in a specific configuration, which reaches the solution with the best defined optimal goal satisfaction.

  • PURPOSE: This study examined the effects of breathing exercise in the water on the pulmonary function and maximum phonation time in children with cerebral palsy. METHODS: The subjects were 24 children with cerebral palsy at GMFCS levels I-III, who were allocated randomly to either the aquatic breathing exercise group or general breathing exercise group 12 subjects per group. Each subject was required to complete 40 minutes of exercise twice a week for eight weeks. Those in the aquatic breathing exercise group performed aquatic breathing exercise, whereas those in the general breathing exercise group performed general aquatic exercise. RESULTS: Significant differences in $FEV_1$, PEF, VC, TV, ERV, and maximum phonation time were observed in the aquatic breathing exercise group after intervention, but there were no significant differences in either FVC, $FEV_1/FVC$, IC, or IRV. In the general breathing exercise group, there were no significant differences in the FVC, $FEV_1$, $FEV_1/FVC$, PEF, VC, IC, TV, IRV, ERV, and maximum phonation time after intervention. In terms of the pulmonary function, the two groups showed a significant difference in the change in $FEV_1$, PEF, and TV after intervention, but not in the FVC, $FEV_1/FVC$, VC, IC, ERV, IRV, and maximum phonation time. CONCLUSION: These results above show that aquatic breathing exercise training in water is more effective in improving the pulmonary function than general breathing exercise training.
