차량 감/가속시의 엔진의 동적 응답 해석 (Analysis of Transient Response of an Engine to Throttle Tip-in/Tip-out)

  • In this paper dynamic responses of an engine, which is supported by hydraulic mount, to throttle tip-in/Tip out are analyzed. Because the hydraulic mounts have non-linearity that the characteristics of stiffness and damping vary with frequencies, it is difficult to analyze the dynamic behavior of an engine using general integral algorithms. Convolution integral and relationship between unit impulse response functions and frequency response functions are therefore used to simulate the transient behaviors of an engine indirectly. In time domain, impulse response functions are calculated by two-side discrete inverse courier transform of frequency response function achieved by laplace transform of equations of motion. Considering the fact that the shapes of behavior of an engine simulated by the proposed method are in good agreement with test results, it is confirmed that the proposed method is very effective for the analysis of transient response to throttle tip-in/out of an engine with hydraulic mounts.

  • To quantify the hydraulic connection between river and aquifer, riverbed leakance values are required to be estimated. Silt, clay, and organic materials are often deposited in rivers resulting in the streambed having a lower hydraulic conductivity than the underlying alluvial aquifer The riverbed hydraulic conductivities are measured through vertical and oblique permeameter test. Anisotropic and heterogeneous properties of riverbed hydraulic conductivity were identified. Grain size analysis and flood wave response technique were checked along with the permeameter test for the riverbed hydraulic conductivity.

  • 국가하천을 대상으로 정밀외관조사에 의해 선정된20개 배수통문에 대하여 지표 물리탐사법외에 수리학적인 원리를 이용한 연통시험이나 초음파주사검층과 같은 공내시험법을 적용하여 배면의 공동상태를 보다 정확하게 파악하고자 하였다. 타음조사나 GPR 탐사, 3차원 전기비저항탐사 및 초음파주사검층은 일부 성공적인 결과를 얻을 수 있었으나 현장특성에 따라 적용이 용이하지 않은 경우가 발생하였다. 반면 연통시험의 경우에는 통문하부 공동의 유무 및 연통상태를 성공적으로 감지할 수 있었다. 그러나 연통시험은 공동의 규모나 형태에 대한 정량적인 정보를 제공하는데 근본적인 한계를 가지고 있으므로 보다 정확한 조사를 위해서는 현장특성에 맞는 다양한 조사법이 적용되어 종합적인 해석이 이루어야져야 할 것이다.

트랙터의 수평제어를 위한 유압 시스템의 특성 실험 (Implementation and Test of Hydraulic Control System for the Tractor Leveling)

  • When a tractor travels slope lands, problems of operator safety and the reduction of job efficiency usually occur. Therefore, maintaining the tractor body being horizontal is critical to improve the security of traveling and the job performance. An experiment was made in a soil bin using the experimental model system built and equipped with a leveling control system. Adaptability of the control system was tested and investigated by analyzing system response in time and frequency domains. Control response time of hydraulic cylinder with 10lpm flow rate on a step input of 10$^{\circ}$slope was about 0.42sec. And it showed a linearly increasing trend without any hunching state. A steady state error of 0.6$^{\circ}$occurred but it was negligible. The hydraulic control system showed a little phase differences within the range of 0.4Hz input frequency. The experimental model showed that implementation of the proposed tractor control system to on slope lands tractor was feasible.

  • Recently, methods of verification for electro-hydraulic servo controllers are various and the required number of testing controllers is continuously increasing in some specific systems. In this study, a PCB-based electronic simulator of hydraulic actuators is designed and developed to simplify test set-up for controllers and to facilitate alteration for characteristics of the simulator. Several features to reduce required time and manpower for verifying controllers are described. Especially, the simulator is considerably efficient to examine some controllers for different hydraulic actuators in a test. Response characteristics of the simulator are compared with those of real actuators to demonstrate validity of this method. Results reveal utilizing the designed simulator for inspecting controllers is equally effective as using hydraulic actuators.

  • It is well known that the entrained air in oil causes appreciable reduction in the stiffness of hydraulic systems. It makes the response delay of the systems and sometimes destroys the stability. Because the hydraulic systems of automatic transmissions are operated in relatively low pressure and high temperature, it is very important to analyze the effects of the air included in automatic transmission fluid. However, it is difficult to derive the generalized model to describe the effective bulk modulus theoretically or measure it in actual operating conditions of automatic transmissions. This paper reviews previous studies of the air effects in hydraulic systems and the measurement techniques of the effective bulk modulus in operating conditions. Based on this work, the theoretical model with moderate complexity and the measurement technique of the effective bulk modulus considering entrained air effect at real operating conditions are suggested. Our paper also shows that the quantity of the entrained air in the automatic transmission fluid can be estimated from the experimental results.

유압밸브 구동용 서보 액추에이터의 신뢰성 향상을 위한 설계 파라미터 도출 (Inducement of Design Parameters for Reliability Improvement of Servo Actuator for Hydraulic Valve Operation)

  • 유압밸브 구동용 서보 액추에이터는 항공기, 자동차의 유압시스템 그리고 산업용 유압시스템의 정밀한 작동에 중요한 장치이다. 서보 액추에이터의 신뢰성 있는 동작은 전체 유압시스템의 정밀한 제어에 큰 영향을 미친다. 서보 액추에이터의 주파수 응답특성, 스텝 응답특성과 같은 응답특성은 액추에이터의 성능을 판단하는 중요한 기준이 된다. 본 논문에서는 신뢰성해석을 통해 신뢰성 있는 동작과 응답특성을 만족시키기 위한 구성 부품에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 또한 신뢰성 있는 동작과 빠른 응답성을 구현하기 위해 현장의 경험적 지식과 문헌 및 전문가의 전자기 이론을 통해 유압밸브 구동용 서보 액추에이터의 설계 파라미터를 도출하였다. 보빈, 요크, 플런저의 설계값, 그리고 코일의 감긴 수와 같은 서보 액추에이터의 설계값들을 결정하는 설계 파라미터를 제안하고, 설계방정식을 통해 산출한 설계값을 유한요소해석을 통해 타당성을 검증하였다. 또한 서보 액추에이터가 장착된 유압밸브의 성능시험을 통해 제안한 설계 방안의 타당성을 검증하였다.

유압펌프용 가변속 SRM 구동시스템 설계 (Design of Variable Speed SRM Drive for Hydraulic Pump Application)

  • 본 논문에서는 유압펌프 시스템의 효율적 구동을 위한 SRM 구동시스템이 제안된다. 유압 펌프 시스템이 요구하는 최대 사용 유압 및 사용유량으로부터 적정한 용량의 SRM을 설계 및 제작하고, 시험을 위해 SRM과 제어기를 포함한 전체 유압시스템을 구성한다. 제시한 SRM 구동시스템은 효율적 구동을 위해 속도제어 뿐만 아니라 유압계통의 압력검출로부터 압력제어도 같이 행하며, 이로부터 SRM이 적정한 운전영역에서 구동되도록 한다. 2.2[KW] 12/8극 SRM과 DSP를 사용한 제어기가 설계되고, 이 시스템을 실제 유압시스템에 적용하여 운전 특성을 확인하였다. 그 결과 제안한 시스템이 고효율과 빠른 응답특성을 가짐을 알 수 있다.

메인 엔진 탑-브레이싱의 효과적 배치에 관한 연구 (Study on Effective Arrangement of Main Engine Top-Bracing)

  • This paper provides procedures to effectively determine arrangement of hydraulic type top-bracings, which are popular for the main engine of the mid and large sized commercial vessels. Analyzing the operation mechanism of hydraulic top-bracing, ideal unified nonlinear stiffness curve is presented for linear frequency response analysis and nonlinear transient response analysis. Nonlinear stiffnesses of the curve are determined based on the regression analysis of test results. It is noted from linear frequency response analysis, initial setting pressure is most important among the setting values of the other stiffness intervals. From transient response analyses for two top-bracing arrangement scenarios, it is recognized that, as far as initial setting pressure is well controlled for the concerning vessels, only two top-bracings are enough to suppress H-mode excitation forces from main engine.
