  • Hydraulic performance of the pump with an inducer was predicted by 3-D Navier-stokes calculation. The evaluated pump was the single-stage centrifugal pump with a separated inducer to pressurize fuel (LCH4) in Turbo-pump system with a specific speed (Ns) of approximately 0.3[rad/s, m3/s, J/kg] and a suction specific speed(s) of 15[rad/s, m3/s, J/kg]. That conventional pump was designed with the combination of 1-D theory and empirical correlation. In this study, preliminary design to select key parameters such as inlet flow coefficient was reviewed by investigating sets of the known design methods to achieve appropriate suction performance, and the performance of newly designed inducer and impeller was compared with the old one, using CFD method. The numerical results showed that the hydraulic efficiency of the new pump was predicted $5.5\%$ higher than that of the conventional one, through design parameter re-selection, configuration improvement and blade loading control

최적화 기법에 의한 원통형 유체 엔진마운트의 설계변수 동정 및 최적화 (Optimizing and Identification of Design Parameters of a Cylindrical Hydraulic Engine Mount by an Optimization Method)

  • In order to identify the design parameters of a hydraulic engine mount with a nonlinear characteristics, an experimental method has been used generally. The method takes a considerable time and expense because of preparing an experimental apparatus, conducting a test, and analyzing results. Therefore, this paper presents a simple method to identify the design parameters of a cylindrical hydraulic engine mount, and optimize the design parameters. The physical model and mathematical equations of the mount were derived, and values of the design parameters of the mount were identified by optimization method with minimizing difference between the analytical results with the equations and the experimental results. This method is more simpler than the conventional experiment method and identify successfully the design parameters. In addition, the technique can optimize the design parameters of the mount to improves the isolation performance of the mount.

  • Hydraulic power steering system has been adopted in seniority passenger and commercial vehicle system for an easy maneuverability and a smoother ride. In this study, hydraulic power steering system analysis model which includes hydraulics and mechanical sub-systems was developed using commercial software, AMESim in order to predict characteristics for various steering components. Each component which constructs system was modeled and verified by experimentally obtained characteristics curves of each components. The agreement between simulation and experimental results shows the validity of the simulation model. The parameter sensitivity analysis such as valve opening area, torsional stiffness for system design are carried out by the analysis and experimental method.

  • 본 논문은 누수를 포함하는 프락탈 대수층의 수리상수의 최적값을 구하기 위한 민감성 분석에 대한 것이다. 민감성 분석은 최소자승법을 이용한다. 민감성 분석에 의하여 수리상수(일반화 투수량계수와 일반화 저유계수)는 여러가지 흐름의 차원과 여러 값의 누수계수에 대해서 쉽게 결정될 수 있다. 아울러, 민감성, 분석은 다수의 양수정의 다단계 양수에도 적용되었다. 민감성 분석을 이용한 프락탈 대수층의 수리상수 산출을 위하여 컴퓨터 프로그램이 개발되었다.

  • One of the most popular internal combustion engines is the engine in the transportation device. Power is a parameter that shows the capabilities of an object that gives energy, for example the internal combustion engine. Power in this engine is measured by a device called dynamometer. The CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) fluent software was simulated several impeller variables to absorb power of engine. With that result, we knew the biggest dynamometer absorber power, cheapest and easy to be made. The hydraulic dynamometer is selected type of dynamometer as the result of design process. The basic principle of a hydraulic dynamometer is the same as centrifugal pump but it has low pump efficiency. The results of the test are maximum power and torque of the tested engine and the operation area of the selected hydraulic dynamometer.

  • Hydraulically driven manipulators are superior to electrically driven ones in the power density and electrical insulation. But an electro-hydraulic manipulator using hydraulic actuators has many nonlinear elements, and its parameter fluctuations are greater than those of electrically driven manipulator. So it is relatively difficult to realize not only stable contact work but also accurate force control for the autonomous field tasks such as the maintenance task of high voltage active electric line or the automatic excavation task by hydraulic excavator.   • In this study, the characteristics of the load-sensitive hydraulic control system for closed center type of a wheel loader were analyzed using developed analysis program based on Amesim tool. From the parametric analysis, the effects of each factor were revealed. Through the simulation with varying parameters, the system parameter effects on the controllable region and the pump pressure and load pressure variations were studied. The results were compared with the experimental ones. The results and discussions of the present paper could aid in the design of a load-sensitive hydraulic control system for closed center type.

  • Hydraulic pipeline between servo valve and actuator affect the dynamic characteristics of electrohydraulic servo systems in serveral ways. This paper deal with the speed control of oil hydraulic gear motor using electrohydraulic servo valve. The frequency and transient response of electrohydraulic servo valve coupled to a gear motor is anlayzed. In particular, the effect of short and long hydraulic pipelines between servo valve and gear motor is investigated. The dynamic characteristics of the speed control systems of gear motor with short pipeline is first described via frequency response experiments with small signal linearized analysis. Loner pipeline is applied distributed parameter pipeline model with consideration of frequency dependent viscous friction.

  • Hydraulic excavators have been one of the most popular devices in the various industries for construction, forestry and agriculture etc. Because the excavators generally work in poor environment, the various organizations study to automate those. In this paper, a hydraulic simulation for evaluation of automatical excavation system is presented. It is using the AMESim based on the 1.5 ton excavator with fixed displacement pumps, and operated by signals those control pilot pressure to spools of the main control valve. The main control valve is regarded that only consists of boom, arm and bucket. This simulation program is expected to apply to evaluation of the controller for automatic excavation system and to estimate of effect in accordance with change of some components or parameter.
