삼각형 단일 Labyrinth 위어의 수리특성 연구 (A Study on Hydraulic Characteristics for Labyrinth Weir of Triangle Single Type)

  • Labyrinth weir is a hydraulic structure that can maintain constant water depth and increase overflow rate by increasing overflow width of weir through complicated displacement of its cross section. The labyrinth weir can be widely applied to various hydraulic facilities such as dam spillway, irrigation facilities, and canal structures. To date, however, few labyrinth weirs were applied to hydraulic facilities in Korea. Hence, in-depth research on labyrinth weir is highly required to efficiently apply the labyrinth weir to hydraulic facilities. This study was performed to analyze the hydraulic characteristics according to triangle labyrinth weir using hydraulic model experiments. The hydraulic characteristics provided in this study, which make it feasible to increase the overflow rate, and are expected to be widely applied to design of hydraulic facilities such as dam spillway and irrigation system.

식생강화를 위한 다공성 소일 블록의 치수안정성 해석 (Analysis on Dimensional Stability of Porosity Soil Block for Vegetation Reinforcement)

  • 본 연구에서는 자연친화적인 호안 블록의 현장 적용시 충분한 기술적인 검증과 구조적, 수리학적 안정성 검토 등이 제대로 이루어지지 않고 있는 문제점을 개선하기 위해 생태적 기능을 확보할 수 있는 식생강화를 위한 다공성 소일 블록에 대하여 수리적 거동 변화에 따른 수리학적 안정성을 검토하였다. 대상구간을 선정하여 수치해석 및 수리모형실험을 실시하였으며 수치해석을 위해 1차원 수치해석모형인 HEC-RAS와 2차원 수치해석모형인 RMA-2를 이용하여 1, 2차원 수치해석을 실시하였고, Froude 상사법칙을 적용하여 식생 유, 무에 따른 축척된 수리모형실험을 실시하였다. 수리모형실험의 경우 실험결과에 대한 타당성을 위해 축척된 수리모형실험의 유속 및 소류력 결과를 원형으로 환산하여 1, 2차원 수치해석결과와 동일한 조건하에 비교 검토하였고 그 결과 비교적 일치된 결과가 나타난 것으로 확인되었으며 이에 따른 원형으로 환산된 소류력 결과를 기존 연구결과인 호안의 허용소류력과 비교함으로써 블록의 수리학적 안정성을 제시하였다.

유공형 부방파제의 장력특성에 관한 실험 (Experiments on Tension Characteristics of Perforated-type Floating Breakwaters)

  • Floating breakwaters were treated as solid bodies without any perforation in previous studies. In this study, however, a floating breakwater is perforated to allow the partial absorption of the energy produced by incident waves and an air chamber is placed in the upper part to control the breakwater draft. A series of laboratory experiments for a floating breakwater installed with a mooring system are carried out. In general, a mooring system can be classified by the number of mooring points, the shape of the mooring lines, and the degree of line tension. In this study, a four-point mooring is employed since it is relatively easier to analyze the measured results. Furthermore, both the tension-leg and the catenary mooring systems have been adopted to compare the performance of the system. In laboratory experiments, the hydraulic characteristics of a floating breakwater were obtained and analyzed in detail. Also, a hydraulic model test was carried out on variable changes by changing the mooring angle and thickness of perforated wall. A hydraulic model was designed to produce wave energy by generating a vortex with the existing reflection method. Analysis on wave changes was conducted and the flow field around the floating breakwater and draft area, which have elastic behavior, was collected using the PIV system. From the test results the strong vortex was identified in the draft area of the perforated both-sides-type floating breakwater. Also, the wave control performance of the floating breakwater was improved due to the vortex produced as the tension in the mooring line decreased.

순환수취수펌프장 내의 흐름에 대한 수리 및 수치모형실험 (Hydraulic and Numerical Model Experiments of Flows in Circulation-Water-Pump Chambers)

  • 신설될 복합화력발전소 취수펌프장 계획안에 대하여 수치 및 수리모형실험을 수행하고 순환수취수펌프운영에 문제를 발생시킬 가능성이 발견되면 개선안을 도출하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 수리모형은 1:20의 크기로 아크릴을 이용하여 제작되었고 2차원 수치모형실험은 RMA2모형을 이용하였다. 수리 및 수치모형실험의 결과를 평가하기 위하여 취수로 및 취수펌프장내 흐름에 대한 평가기준을 설정하였다. 복합화력발전소 취수펌프장의 계획안에 대한 2차원 수치모형실험을 통하여 얻어진 연직방향 와도를 수리모형실험결과와 비교하여 흐름평가기준의 하나인 와류발생 가능성을 평가하였다. 계획안은 취수펌프장내에서 큰 규모의 와류가 발생하여 순환수취수펌프운영에 문제를 발생시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단되었다. 이에 따라서 9개 개선안이 고안되어 수치모의되었다. 9개중 4개의 개선안에 대하여 수리모형실험이 수행되었다. 수리모형실험에 근거하여 4개의 개선안의 하나가 최종개선안으로 제시되었다. 공간적인 제약조건이 있는 순환수취수펌프장 및 취수로 설계의 경우 격벽과 도류벽을 이용하면 순환수취수펌프장의 흐름상황을 개선할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

수압암반절개시스템을 이용한 벤치컷 현장 적용 사례 연구 (Application of a Hydraulic Rock Splitting System to Bench-Cut Field Experiments)

  • 본 연구에서는 기존 패커를 개량한 하이브리드패커를 장착한 수압암반절개시스템을 벤치컷 공법에 적용하였다. 하이브리드패커는 주입압을 이용하여 수압파쇄균열을 생성시키고 고무패커를 팽창시켜 수압파쇄균열을 확장하고 연장시키는 두 가지 기능을 하나의 패커에 접목시킨 패커시스템으로, 무소음·무진동 수압암반절개에 효율적으로 적용할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 본 연구에서는 벤치컷 굴착을 위해 사면 최상단에 설치된 실험공과 자유면으로부터의 이격거리와 주입설정 등 실험조건을 조정하면서 현장실험을 수행하여 주입 조건에 따른 암반 굴착 효율성을 비교하였다. 5 m의 이격거리를 지닌 조건에서는 굴착이 이루어지지 않은 부분이 발생하였으나 1 m의 이격거리에서는 굴착되지 않은 부분이 발생하지 않았다. 주입압에 의해 생성된 수압파쇄균열은 대체적으로 자유면과 평행하게 발달하여 고무팽창에 의해 확장 및 연장되어 벤치컷 굴착이 용이하게 이루어졌다. 벤치컷 암반 굴착에 수압암반절개공법을 체계적으로 적용하기 위해서는 다양한 암반 상태에 대하여 실험조건을 변화하면서 현장실험 결과를 축적하여야 할 것으로 판단된다.

사석방파제 투수하부층 두께에 따른 사면상의 수리특성 실험연구 (Experimental Study for Hydraulic Characteristics as the Permeable Underlayer Thickness of Rubble mound Structure)

  • In this study, the effects on hydraulic characteristics are discussed as the permeable underlayer thickness of the rubble mound structure changes. A series of hydraulic experiments were performed and wave run-up, reflection and set-up were investigated. Result indicated that wave run-down was affected by the water out from the permeable underlayer during down-rush. As the thickness increased, relative wave run-up decreased.

  • The dynamic behavior of a quick-acting hydraulic fuse is investigated by analysis and experiment. In view of the short response time, a proper dynamic analysis of the entire hydraulic circuit is necessary, in addition to analysis of the fuse behavior. Dynamic models of the fuse and other hydraulic circuit elements used in the experimental setup are derived and used for computer simulation. Also, the experiments are performed under a variety of operating conditions. Experimental and analytical results are in very good agreement.

고출력 및 경량 협동로봇 위한 케이블-유압 구동 3자유도 매니퓰레이터 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of 3DoF Manipulator with Cable-Hydraulic Driven Actuation for Cooperative Robot with High Output and Low Inertia)

  • This paper presents cable-hydraulic driven 3DoF (Degree-of-Freedom) manipulator for cooperative robot with high output/low inertia and enhancing lager workspace of hydraulic manipulator. Hydraulic actuation could be solution to design more higher output manipulator than the one of electric motor actuation due to install actuation source and robot joint separated. In spite of this advantage, the conventional hydraulic driven manipulator using cylinder or vane actuator is not suitable for the candidate of cooperative robot because smaller workspace owing to small RoM (Range of Motion) hydraulic actuator. In this paper, we propose 3DoF manipulator with cable-hydraulic actuation which is more larger ratio of payload-to-weight than the one of conventional cooperative manipulator and larger workspace than the one of existing hydraulic driven manipulator. The performance of proposed manipulator was demonstrated by the experiments for confirming overall workspace task, high payload operation task under worst situation and comparing repeatability between developed manipulator and existed cooperative robots. The results of experiments showed that the appropriate performance of proposed manipulator for cooperative robot.

Hydraulic Model Experiment on Circulation in Sagami Bay, Japan (IV) -Time-Varying States of Flow Pattern and Water Exchange in Baroclinic Rotating Model-

  • Baroclinic hydraulic model experiments on the time-varying states of the flow pattern and water exchange in Sagami Bay were carried out based on quasi-steady state experiments on the flow pattern. For the model experiments, density changes as well as time changes in the volume transport of the upper layer were executed to investigate the flow response of the bay in the case of a sudden inflow of low density water and variable volume transport into the Sagami Bay. The results of the model experiments showed that when the volume transport was increased frontal eddies or frontal wave streamers from the Kuroshio Through Flow were transferred to the inner part of the bay along with cyclonic circulation in the bay. In addition, density boundary currents appeared and flowed along the eastern boundary of the bay. As the upper layer density decreased, frontal eddies, frontal streamers and coastal boundary density currents occurred and proceeded along the eastern boundary of the bay at a high speed.

  • Hydraulic systems have severe nonlinearity inherently compared to other systems like electric control systems. Hence, precise modeling and analysis of the hydraulic control systems are not easy. In this study, the control performance of a hydraulic control system with a feedback linearization compensator and a disturbance observer was analyzed through experiments and numerical simulations. This study mainly focuses on the quantitative investigation of sensitivity on system uncertainties in the hydraulic control system. First, the sensitivity on the system uncertainty of the hydraulic control system with a Feedback Linearization - State Feedback Controller (FL-SFC) was quantitatively analyzed. In addition, the efficacy of a disturbance observer coupled with the FL-SFC for the hydraulic control system was verified in terms of overcoming the control performances deterioration owing to system uncertainty.
