유압펌프용 실린더 블록의 윤활 및 동특성 해석 (Analysis of Lubrication and Dynamic Characteristics of a Cylinder Block for Hydraulic Pump)

  • Lubrication characteristics between a cylinder block and a valve plate for high speed bent-axis type hydraulic pump play an important role in volumetric efficiency and durability of pump. In this paper, a finite element method is presented for the computation of the pressure distribution between a cylinder block and a valve plate for high speed bent-axis type hydraulic pump. Also, a Runge-Kutta method is applied to simulate the cylinder block dynamics of three-degrees of freedom motion. From the results of computation, we can draw two major conclusions. One is related to the fluid film characteristics between a cylinder block and a valve plate and the other is related to the average leakage that is determined by the pressure gradient and the clearance near the discharge port. The numerical results of cylinder block dynamics were compared with the experimental results using eddy-current type gap sensors those are fixed at a pump housing.

  • Although inverter-driven hydraulic elevators(HEL's) have advantages over traditional valve-controlled HEL's energy efficiency and performance they need robustness in performance and stability to accomodate nonlinearities big parametric variations and resonances in mechanical-hydraulic inner system. In this paper a robust controller based on DGKF/$\mu$ mixed approach is applied to a HEL system with carring capacity of 24 persons for Incheon International Airport. The results of a test tower(T/T) has shown good ro-bustness in performance and stability of the proposed controller thereby proving a feasibility of this robust controller-based approach for other HEL problems.

  • One of the most popular internal combustion engines is the engine in the transportation device. Power is a parameter that shows the capabilities of an object that gives energy, for example the internal combustion engine. Power in this engine is measured by a device called dynamometer. The CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) fluent software was simulated several impeller variables to absorb power of engine. With that result, we knew the biggest dynamometer absorber power, cheapest and easy to be made. The hydraulic dynamometer is selected type of dynamometer as the result of design process. The basic principle of a hydraulic dynamometer is the same as centrifugal pump but it has low pump efficiency. The results of the test are maximum power and torque of the tested engine and the operation area of the selected hydraulic dynamometer.

  • A numerical analysis is carried out to study the effect of piston shape on the lubrication characteristics between the cylinder and piston in hydraulic piston pumps. The results showed that the shape of piston affect significantly the pressure distribution in the clearance, the lateral force acting on the piston and leakage flow through the clearance. Partially tapered piston is more effective than any other piston shapes because it reduces the possibility of hydraulic locking and improves the volumetric efficiency of the pump.

  • A series of hydraulic and cavitation tests are performed in water environment in order to verify the hydraulic and cavitation performance of three types of LOX pumps. All the performances of the pumps are found to be satisfied with each design requirement. In the hydraulic tests, the head and efficiency are increased as the gap between floating ring seals and the impeller shoulder is decreased. In the cavitation tests, some pumps show decrease in the cavitation performance as the flowrate of the pump is decreased.

  • The hydraulic performances of a Francis turbine which had been designed and tested by IMHEF were calculated with a commercial code and compared with the IMHEF test results. The non-dimensional specific speed of the turbine is 0.5, the runner exit diameter 0.4m and maximum efficiency 93.1% respectively. To make the calculation of the turbine more exact, the stay vanes, the guide vane, the runner and the draft tube were calculated simultaneously. The calculation results gave a quite good agreement with the IMHEF test data, and therefore it is expected that the present calculation technique will be utilized for the hydraulic design of efficient Francis turbines.

  • Hydraulic excavators have been popular devices in construction fields because of their multi-workings and economic efficiency. The mathematical models of excavators have many nonlinearities because of opening characteristics and dead zone of main control valve(MCV), oil temperature variation, etc. The objective of this paper is to develop a simulator for hydraulic excavator using AMESim. Components and their circuits are expressed graphically. Also, parameters and nonlinear characteristics are considered in a text style. From the simulation results, fixed spring stiffness of MCV can not obtain the satisfactory accuracy of spool displacement under whole P-Q diagrams. Closed loop type MCV containing a proportional gain, is proposed in this paper that can reduce displacement error. The ability of closed loop MCV is verified through comparing with normal type MCV using AMESim simulator. The excavator simulator can be used to forecast the attachment behaviors when components, mechanical attachments and hydraulic circuits change, or other control algorithms are applied. The simulator could be a kind of development platform for new excavators.

  • The powershift transmission have the advantage of easier operation and higher efficiency by using the hydraulic clutch and mechanical power transfer system. It is important to control the engaging pressure and time. The hydraulic control system is used for these controls of the modulator valve, the accumulator, the sump valve and etc. This study have made a simulator for verifying the pressure characteristic of the shuttle powershift transmission and developed the computer simulation model of the hydraulic components and system by using 'AMESim'. As a result, the design parameters which have an effect on the pressure modulation are verified to the spring stiffness of the modulator valve and the volume of the accumulator.

  • This paper proposed a hydraulic pump system which uses a variable SR drive and constant capacity pump. The base and maximum speed, torque are determined from displacement capacity of the pump and maximum pressure. The drive system is set to have a minimum power consumption having hydraulic preset pressure, which is operated within a maximum capacity and maximum preset pressure. This is achieved by controlling motor speed and power with feedback signal of pressure of the hydraulic pump. A 2.2kw, 12/8-pole SR motor and DSP based digital controller are designed and prototype drive system is manufactured. The proposed variable speed SR drive system is simulated and tested with experimental set-up. The test results show that the system has some good features such as high efficiency and high response characteristics.
