멀티센서 기반 차량 위치인식 시스템의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Multi-Sensor-based Vehicle Localization and Tracking System)

  • 본 논문에서는 가우시안 정규분포 모델 기반의 멀티센서 데이터 퓨전 알고리즘을 이용한 차량 위치인식 시스템을 제안한다. 기존의 차량 위치인식 시스템은 GPS를 중심으로 제공되어 왔으나 위성 신호 수신이 어려운 실내나 빌딩이 빽빽하게 들어선 도심에서는 제대로 작동하지 않는 문제가 있었다. 이를 해결하기 위해 GPS와 UWB를 결합하는 방법이 연구되었으나 위치변화에 따라 각 측위매체를 이산적으로 전환하여 차량과 같은 이동이 잦은 대상에게 끊임없이 유연한 위치 정보를 제공하지 못하는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 가우시안 정규분포 모델을 바탕으로 GPS 위치 데이터와 UWB 센서 데이터를 유기적으로 결합하는 Hybrid UWB/GPS 측위시스템을 구성하여 측위시스템의 적용범위에 민감하지 않고 유연한 위치정보를 제공하도록 한다. 제안된 시스템을 Ubisense와 Asen GPS를 이용하여 $12m\;{\times}\;8m$ 크기의 실외 환경에서 실험하였으며, 구현된 시스템을 통해 기존 UWB 및 GPS 시스템에 비해 정밀도 및 연동성이 향상되었음을 확인하였다. 이를 통해 차량에서 주차 관리 및 차량추적 관리 등 다양한 CNS를 지원할 수 있다.

수소경제로의 이행을 위한 안전관리 정책 연구 (A Study on Safety Policies for a Transition to a Hydrogen Economy)

  • Hydrogen, which can be produced from abundant and widely distributed renewable energy resources, seems to be a promising candidate for solving the concerns for improving energy security, urban air pollution, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The two primary motivating factors for hydrogen economy are fossil fuel supply limitations and concerns about global warming. But the safety issues associated with hydrogen economy need to be investigated and fully understood before being considered as a future energy source. Limited operating experience with hydrogen energy systems in consumer environments is recognised as a significant barrier to the implementation of hydrogen economy. To prevent unnecessary restrictions on emerging codes, standards and local regulations, safety policies based on real hazards should be developed. This article studies briefly the direct impact-distances from hazard events such as hydrogen release and jet fire, and damage levels from hydrogen gas explosion in a confined space. Based on the direct impact-distances indicated in the accident scenarios and consumer environments in Korea, the safety policies, which are related to hydrogen filling station, hydrogen fuel cell car, portable fuel cell, domestic fuel cells, and hydrogen town, are suggested to implement hydrogen economy. To apply the safety policies and overcome the disadvantages of prescriptive risk management, which is setting guidance in great detail to management well known risk but is not covering unidentified risk, hybrid risk management model is also proposed.

유압시스템의 극저속 속도제어를 위한 퍼지논리 제어기의 설계 (The Design of the Fuzzy Logic Controller for Controlling the Speed in the Zero-Crossing Speed Region of a Hydraulic System)

  • 인버터를 적용한 유압시스템은 펌프의 마찰과 실린더 패킹 및 탑승 카와 레일의 마찰특성으로 인하여 PID 제어기로는 제어가 되지 않는 데드존이 생기게 된다. 본 논문에서는, 우선 유압시스템으로 구동되는 엘리베이터의 극저속 속도영역(zero-crossing)에서 속도가 제어되지 않는 원인이 되는 실린더의 마찰특성을 고찰하고, 이러한 실린더의 마찰특성으로 인하여 기존의 PID 속도제어기로 제어시 발생되는 문제점을 해결하기 위한 줌잉 퍼지룰을 포함한 퍼지제어기를 설계한다. 제안된 하이브리드 퍼지제어기는 정속주행구간에서는 PID제어기를 적용하고 PID제어기로 제어되지 않는 극저속 속도구간에서는 퍼지제어기를 적용하여 유압식 엘레베이터가 실린더의 마찰특성으로 인하여 극저속 속도영역에서 속도가 제어되지 않는 문제를 해결하고, 극저속 영역에서 뿐 아니라 정상상태를 포함한 전 운전영역에서의 제어성능이 우수함을 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 보인다.

2011년 모델에 대한 정면 미국신차안전도평가 결과에 대한 통계적 분석 (Statistical Review for USNCAP Front Crash Test Results in MY2011)

  • New car assessment program (NCAP) originated from USNCAP in 1979 has been implemented in several countries or markets, for instance USA, Europe, Korea, Japan, China and Australia. NCAP has contributed greatly to reduce accidental tolls. But recently, NCAP performance has no distinction between cars because manufacturer have been continuously developed to improve NCAP performance. Therefore, NHTSA announced new USNCAP protocol becoming effective from MY2011. NHTSA had carried out many NCAP tests based on the new test protocol and announced these test results. In this paper, USNCAP test results were reviewed by statistical method. This review was focused on passenger cars and frontal crash test results in order to investigate effect of changes in new NCAP protocol. There are two key changes, one is sited female dummy in passenger position, the other is enlarged to 4 scoring body regions in each dummy. Results of this review were summarized as followings. Performance in Passenger (12.5%) is lower than Driver's (50%) for number of 5 star vehicle. Neck injury criterion is dominant to NCAP star rating for both dummies in the mean sense. For standard deviation, chest deflection is showed largest value in driver dummy but neck injury criterion is showed for passenger's. DKAB and PKAB were equipped 28.1% and 6.2%, respectively. Consequently, the countermeasure for new USNCAP frontal crash test is essential to control well dummy kinematics with some safety features including KAB to reduce neck injuries.

  • 최근 무선 인터넷 환경의 발달로 실시간 교통정보안내와 지도를 통해 목적지까지의 경로 안내를 해주는 차량 항법 서비스 등 공간 데이터를 활용한 위치기반서비스가 증가되고 있다. 하지만, 현재 시스템 환경에서는 대용량의 공간 데이터를 파일 시스템 기반으로 관리하기 때문에 실시간적인 데이터 저장과 관리측면에서 많은 제약을 가진다. 이를 보완하기 위해 임베디드 데이티베이스를 바탕으로 대용량의 공간 데이터를 구조적으로 관리할 수 있는 연구가 요구된다. 이에 본 연구는 임베디드 시스템에서 대용량의 공간 데이터의 효율적인 저장을 위해 데이터베이스에 적용 가능한 바이트패킹과 Lempel-Ziv 압축기법을 혼합 개선한 무손실 압축 기법을 제시하고자 하였다. 이렇게 제시된 공간 데이터 압축 기법을 실제 대도시권 데이터(서울 인천)에 적용하여 실험해 보고 농일 데이터에 대하여 실험을 통해 재구성이 되기까지의 질의 처리 시간을 분석을 통해 선행 연구에서 제시한 방법을 적용한 결과와 비교 하였다. 연구결과로 본 연구에서 제시된 압축 방법이 높은 위치 정확도를 요구하는 데이터에 대해 더 나은 성능을 보이는 것을 획인 할 수 있었다.

  • Recently, due to various environmental problems such as global warming, increasing of international oil prices and exhaustion of resource, a paradigm of world automobile market is rapidly changing from vehicles using internal combustion engine to eco-friendly vehicles using electric power such as EV (Electric Vehicle), HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle), PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid electric Vehicle) and FCEV (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle). There are many driving cycles for performance evaluation of conventional vehicles. However there is a lack of researches on driving cycle for EV. This study is composed of part 1 and part 2. In this paper part 1, in order to develop urban driving cycle for performance evaluation of electric vehicles, Gwacheon-city patrol route of police patrol car was selected. Actual driving test was performed using EV. The driving data such as velocity, time, GPS information etc. were recorded. GUDC-EV (Gwacheon-city Urban Driving Cycle for Electric Vehicles) including road gradient was developed through the results of analyzing recorded data. Reliability of the driving cycle development method was substantiated through comparison of electricity performance. In the second part of this study, the developed driving cycle was compared to simulation result of the existing urban driving cycle. Verification of the developed driving cycle for EV performance evaluation was described.

EID-1 Interacts with Orphan Nuclear Receptor SF-1 and Represses Its Transactivation

  • The orphan nuclear receptor, SF-1, plays a pivotal role in the development and differentiation of the endocrine and reproductive systems, and also regulates the transcription of a host of genes, including those encoding several steroidogenic enzymes and gonadotropins. We found that a previously unidentified repressor, EID-1, is an SF-1-interacting protein that inhibits the transactivation of SF-1. A transient transfection assay revealed that EID-1 inhibits SF-1, but not LRH-1, $ERR{\gamma}$, or mCAR. Using the yeast two hybrid and GST pull-down assays, we determined that EID-1 interacted strongly with SF-1. In addition, it colocalized with SF-1 in mammalian cells and interacted specifically with the AF-2 domain of SF-1, competing with SRC-1 to inhibit SF-1 transactivation. EID-1 is expressed in the mouse testis, and its expression decreases during testis development. The results of the present study suggest that EID-1 can act as a repressor, regulating the function of SF-1.

차량 시뮬레이터 접목을 위한 실시간 인체거동 해석기법 (Real-Time Analysis of Occupant Motion for Vehicle Simulator)

  • Visual effects are important cues for providing occupants with virtual reality in a vehicle simulator which imitates real driving. The viewpoint of an occupant is sensitively dependent upon the occupant's posture, therefore, the total human body motion must be considered in a graphic simulator. A real-time simulation is required for the dynamic analysis of complex human body motion. This study attempts to apply a neural network to the motion analysis in various driving situations. A full car of medium-sized vehicles was selected and modeled, and then analyzed using ADAMS in such driving conditions as bump-pass and lane-change for acquiring the accelerations of chassis of the vehicle model. A hybrid III 50%ile adult male dummy model was selected and modeled in an ellipsoid model. Multibody system analysis software, MADYMO, was used in the motion analysis of an occupant model in the seated position under the acceleration field of the vehicle model. Acceleration data of the head were collected as inputs to the viewpoint movement. Based on these data, a back-propagation neural network was composed to perform the real-time analysis of occupant motions under specified driving conditions and validated output of the composed neural network with MADYMO result in arbitrary driving scenario.

유연태양전지 대면적/대량 생산시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A study on development of large area/mass production system for flexible solar cell)

  • Currently, new and renewable energy come into the spotlight, such as solar energy, wind power, fuel cell, hybrid car etc., due to the energy resource is being depleted. Especially, in order to solve like this problem, the study of solar cell manufacturing systems are being extensively researched such as vacuum process. But the major fault of the vacuum process are its expensive production price. On the order hand, Roll-to-roll printing system, the new technology of solar cell manufacturing, has low production price compare with the vacuum process. Also roll-to-roll printing system can decrease the 95% of waste water and 99.9% of harmful gasses than the vacuum process. So we addressed the roll to roll printing system for the flexible solar cell by using printing technology. This roll-to-roll printing system is comprised of various modules, such as web handling module, fine pattern printing module, dry/curing module, uniform coating module and laminating module etc.

  • The regulation of the $CO_2$ emit from vehicles have become much more stringent in recent years. This stringent regulation is more request vehicle manufacturers to develop the alternative fuel vehicles for reducing exhaust emissions. LPG fuel is more clean energy compares with gasoline and diesel fuel. Especially, $CO_2$ emission of LPG Vehicle is less than gasoline vehicle and almost equal to diesel vehicle. For this reason, recently korean government is extending LPG fuel for hybrid car and light duty vehicle. In domestic, Propane is mixing $15{\sim}30%$ to butane for improvement of cold start at winter season. Therefore, In this paper was investigated that the characteristics of emissions according to propane mixing rate with 0, 10, 20, 30% were compared and analyzed by the vehicle test using LPG vehicle according to the FTP75 mode. It was also investigated the characteristics of nano-particle emit with propane mixing rate.
