The objectives of this study are to develop and evaluate the Neural Network algorithm which can predict the inelastic shortening such as the creep strain and the drying shrinkage strain of reinforced concrete members using the previous test data. New learning algorithms for the prediction of creep strain and the drying shrinkage strain are proposed focusing on input layer components and a normalization method for input data and their validity is examined through several test data. In Neural Network algorithm, the main input data to be trained are the compressive strength of the concrete, volume to surface ratio, curing condition, relative humidity, and the applied load. The results show that the new algorithms proposed herein successfully predict creep strain and the drying shrinkage strain.
There are increasing developments and uses of functional building materials are recently developed and introduced to the test method for the materials. Especially, moisture problem has a major role are also being established in indoor air quality problems. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the water vapour adsorption/desorption property of a ceiling material. The variation of the temperature and moisture were measured with the application materials by mock up test based on JIS 1470-1. The result shows that water vapour adsorption/desorption property of ceiling material is appeared in changes of moisture adsorption and desorption in comparison with that of a general ceiling material. Therefore, in case of decreasing and increasing in humidity, these materials can be used as an finishing material to sustain comfort condition.
A rapid expansion of moist air of condensible gas through a supersonic nozzle gives rise to condensation of nonequilibrium and equilibrium processes. Because most of the effects of condensation on the flow are caused by process of nonequilibrium condensation, it is very important to know the onset. condition of nonequilibrium condensation. In the present study, the relation between the initial relative stagnation humidity and the onset Mach number, for the case of the similarity law suggested by Zierep and Lin. Furthermore, the present theoretical result number is compared with the experimental, numerical and other results.

This study investigates drying condition when a small fan is added to a operating the free-breathing proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) with dry $H_2$ and Air. Polarization tests were conducted on PEMFCs at cell temperatures between 30 and $50^{\circ}C$ under dry operation. In the results, the cell performance strongly depended on the cell temperature and the cathode gas stoichiometric flow rates. The cell performance increases as cell temperature decreases from 50 to $30^{\circ}C$. In the domain where the stoichiometry of air is quite large, reduction of the concentration overpotential compensated the increased internal resistance due to drying. The maximum performance was obtained at the small air flow rate beyond which flooding occurs. This indicates that the fan should be operated in the stoichiometry domain with a well designed cell structure to avoid flooding.
By using EEG and HRV, subjects were estimated on their psychological and physiological reaction when reading psychrometric chart in 7 point century font, in an environmental test room in the condition of temperature 25[$^{\circ}C$], relative humidity 50[RH%], air current speed 0.02[m/sec], giving variation in illuminance to 0.1, 300, 600, 1000, 1300 and 1600[lux]. As a result, it was at 1300[lux] that absolute ${\alpha}$ wave, SMR, SDNN were most vitalized, and also both sides ${\alpha}$ wave asymmetry index, SEF50, HRT, stress and fatigue degree were at the lowest. It was found that a certain illuminance which minimizes psychological stress and fatigue degree while enhancing concentration and task achievement stably does exist.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the present conditions of thermal environment in small-size apartments. The research methods used were measuring of environmental elements and personal self-administration for the residents' thermal comfort responses. The house subjected were 25 peung apartments facing southeast and southwest directions. The results of this study were summarized as follow ; The indoor temperature and humidity of houses subjected were 25.0∼27.3℃, 37.1∼42.5%. Compared with the distribution of indoor temperature and globe temperature of houses subjected, those of southeast house were more stable. And in the residents' thermal sensation responses, the residents of southeast houses checked more often neutral zone. Therefore the thermal environment of southeast houses were more comfortable condition than southwest houses.
It has been observed that the cooling capacity of an impinging water jet is affected by the seasonal conditions in large-scale steel manufacturing processes. To confirm this phenomenon, cooling experiments utilizing a hot steel plate cooled by a laminar jet were conducted for two initial ambient air temperatures (10$^{\circ}C$ and 40$^{\circ}C$) in a closed chamber, performing an inverse heat conduction method for quantitative comparison. This study reveals that the cooling capacity at an air temperature of 10$^{\circ}C$ is lower than the heat extracted at 40$^{\circ}C$. The amount of total extracted heat at 10$^{\circ}C$ is 15% less than at 40$^{\circ}C$ , These results Indicate the quantity of water vapor, absorbed until saturation, affects the mechanism of boiling heat transfer.
As the statistical data, the most of electrical shock accidents have been caused by human errors including those of mistake, carelessness, and so on during normal condition. But, there are currently no international standards for the determination of withstand distance to ensure safety of personnel form 22.9 kV electrical power facilities during their normal operation. Therefore, this paper describes the characteristics of flash-over voltage by moisture variation to establish the distance clearances in terms of electrical safety.
Developed friction snubbers changes the shock or vibration into a heat energy by mechanical friction. Snubber is divided into friction snubbers and hydraulic snubbers according to the operation types. However, hydraulic snubber has a lot of problems caused by temperature, humidity, radioactivity, and viscosity of hydraulic fluid. In these respects, to solve these problems, not only do friction snubber supplement lacks of hydraulic snubber but has also simpler structure than hydraulic snubber. In this paper, friction snubber used sponge iron by friction material is experimentally compared with general friction snubber In this results, the experiment verifies friction function and produce the manufacture condition for the effective friction snubber development.
Due to ELV banning, automotive electronics cannot use four kinds of heavy metal element (Pb, Hg, Cd, $Cr^{6+}$) from 2016. Therefore, this study was focused on degradation characteristics of Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu Lead-free solder joint with OSP and ENIG finsh under various reliability assessment method, as like to thermal shock test and high temeprature/high humidity test with test duration for cabin electronics. Also, we compared bonding strength degradation to other advanced research results of electronic control unit for engine room because of difference service temperature with mount location in automotive. Whisker growth phenomenon and mitigation method which were essentially consideration items for Pb-free car electronics were examined. Conformal coating is a strong candidate for mitigating whisker growth in automotive electronics. Necessary condition to adapt Pb-free in car electronics was shown.
