우편원격훈련의 현업활용도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Job Application of Postal Distance Training)

  • When it comes to the training program conducted by company to improve job performance ability, it would be not a investment but a waste if the training contents is not practically applied to the business accomplishment. Even though some people raise a question on the job application of postal distance training, funded by employment insurance, the study on the job application of postal distance training shows that the components of the training program have a positive effect on it and the model has 60.5% validity. Moreover, its control effect on environmental support and individual characteristics has been partially established. The study has been conducted by questioning survey with the employees who completed a postal education 3 months ago. With the result, we can find that the postal distance training benefits employees to improve their job performance abilities and expect that it continuously plays a crucial role in the field of company training through the development of high-quality training programs.

중소기업의 HRD를 위한 종업원 훈련프로그램의 유효성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Effectiveness of Employee Training Program for HRD in Small and Medium Company)

  • 본 연구는 교육훈련프로그램의 적절성과 학습조직, 그리고 인구통계요인(직종, 직급, 근무연한)이 중소기업 종업원의 교육효과와 지속적 교육 참여의도에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 경험적으로 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 주요결과에 따르면 교육훈련프로그램의 적절성은 교육효과와 지속적 교육 참여의도에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 기업의 학습조직 특성이 강할수록 이것이 교육효과와 지속적 교육참여의도에 긍정적 효과를 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 중소기업 종업원의 인구통계 요인으로서 종업원의 직급과 직종, 근무연한에 따라 교육효과와 지속적 교육참여의도의 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 중소기업이 교육을 실시하고자 할 때 교육에 대하여 교육훈련의 적절성을 높이도록 설계하여 종업원들이 사전에 교육의 목적을 이해하도록 함과 동시에 기업의 학습조직을 활성화하는 노력이 중소기업의 교육훈련의 효과와 지속적 교육참여의도를 높일 수 있음을 본 연구결과는 시사하고 있다.

초등과정 인공지능 학습원리 이해를 위한 보드게임 기반 게이미피케이션 교육 실증 (Development of a board game-based gamification learning model for training on the principles of artificial intelligence learning in elementary courses)

  • 게이미피케이션은 수업에 게임의 요소나 게임을 접목함으로서 학생의 흥미도를 향상시키고, 직접 참여할 수 있는 환경을 조성함으로서 보다 뛰어난 학업성취도 향상을 도우며, 이와 같은 게이미피케이션을 인공지능이라는 IT기술에 융합함으로서 초등 과정을 대상으로 핵심원리를 학습할 수 있는 교육과정을 제안한다. 제안된 교육과정은 인공지능의 학습방법에 대해 보드 게임형식으로 학습함으로서 초등 과정의 피학습자에 수준에 맞추어 원리를 이해할 수 있도록 돕는다. 이와 같은 게임의 요소를 접목한 학습방법은 피학습자에게 IT원리를 학습할 수 있도록 함으로서 다양한 관점에서 대상을 이해하는 능력을 키우고, 컴퓨팅 사고력을 강화한다. 제안된 게이미피케이션을 접목한 초등 인공지능 교육과정은 최근 2015 교육과정에서부터 크게 부각되고 있는 정보과학 교육과정의 발전에 이바지 할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

항공사 EBT 프로그램 모델 개발 (Development of Airline EBT Program Model)

  • 항공사에서는 보다 효과적인 교육훈련을 실시하고자 실무와 연계한 훈련 프로그램을 도입하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 항공사들은 항공 인력의 실무 역량 강화 및 안전 문화 증진을 위해 증거 기반 훈련(EBT)을 시행해 오고 있다. 항공사들은 효과적인 EBT 모델 개발을 위해 운항 데이터 및 사례 연구를 분석하여 항공 인력의 역량 및 실무 능력을 체계적으로 평가할 수 있다. 또한 승무원 자원 관리(CRM)와 같은 기술적 방법 및 인적 요인을 포함하는 전체적인 접근법을 적용하여 EBT 모델을 구성할 수 있다. EBT 도입으로 인해 항공사들은 조종사의 실무 업무에 대한 진단 및 피드백 시스템을 구축하게 되며 개인 맞춤형 교육을 제공할 수 있고 교육 성과를 거쳐 교육 효과를 검증하는 교육훈련 체계를 확립하게 된다.

대전 'K' 초등학교 디지털 도서관의 실내공간계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Interior Design of a Information Resource Center(IRC) for 'K' Elementary School in Daejeon)

  • The purpose of this study was to propose a plan of Information Resource Center(IRC) with various multimedia and Internet materials applicable in class for 'K' Elementary School in Daejeon. As for research methods, this study reviewed the basic directions and characteristics of Information Resource Center(IRC) defined by the Ministry of Education and Human Development, and literature from various sources. Standards for the Information Resource Center(IRC) were suggested, a plan was proposed according to them. Ultimately, a plan with stable and flexible layout and flow lines, facilities and spaces within the Information Resource Center(IRC) was established and executed. The basic functions of Information Resource Center(IRC) were information, reading, consultation, graphic production. The spaces suggested in this study for the Information Resource Center(IRC) for elementary school were space for the literature information, information search, A/V information, studying, browsing, reading. This results will support teacher's teaching with various multimedia and Internet materials applicable in class, help student's self directed learning activity, and play its role as a cultural center of the local community.

한국 노인교육정책의 전개와 특징 (Development and Characteristic of Elder Education Policy in Korea)

  • 이 논문은 노인교육에 대한 정부의 정책지원이 이루어진 시점부터 현재까지, 그 전개과정과 특징을 확인하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이는 기존 노인교육정책 관련 연구들이 현재의 정책현황에 대한 상황기술과 이를 바탕으로 한 향후제언 성격의 담론 논의에 중심을 둠에 따라, 현재의 모습으로 발현되기까지의 정책과정에 대한 분석이 소홀히 다루어진 것에 대한 문제의식에서 출발한다. 연구자는 '한국노인교육정책은 어떻게 진행되었는가'라는 질문을 제기하며, 관련 문서에 기초하여 정책의 전개 과정과 특징을 찾는데 주목하였다. 분석을 통해 노인교육에 대한 정책지원은 1970년대 후반 새마을운동의 대중화를 위한 국민교육의 일환으로 시작·강화되었고, 현재에는 노인 인적자원양성을 위한 정책 지원으로 이어지고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 과정에서 시기에 따라 정부의 정책지원은 그 목표와 대상, 그리고 지원체계가 변화되는 특징을 보인다. 또한 1990년대 후반 다각적으로 수립된 노인교육정책들은 대부분 집행으로 이어지지 못하고, 정책 수립과 집행 사이의 상당한 불일치를 보여주고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

Urban Teachers' Perceptions and Practices of Culturally Relevant Science Teaching

  • This formative evaluation study presents a professional development program, "Earth Science Systems for Teachers (ESST)" held in a Midwest State in the United States. This study investigates how a professional development for urban teachers affects the teacher participants' perceptions of using the urban environment for their science teaching and their lesson unit development. The purpose of the program was to help urban teachers create science units using the urban geologic environment and its connection to urban students' everyday lives. The participant teachers' daily journal entries during the program, their lesson plans before and after the program, as well as their teaching reflections were collected as major data source. The teachers' daily journal entries were analyzed qualitatively and their pre-post lessons were analyzed quantitatively using a lesson plan analysis tool, Culturally Relevant Science Teaching Perspectives (CRSTP) was developed by the author. The lesson analysis tool was used to assess teachers' science lesson plans in the perspective of culturally relevant pedagogy and place-based pedagogy. The major findings include: 1) The teacher participants' field experiences in urban geologic sites and urban environments help the teachers to change their perceptions of using the urban environment as a teaching resource and 2) there were significant differences in their pre and post lesson unit scores based on CRSTP (P<. 01). The implications of this study are also discussed.

녹색성장을 위한 가정경영의 가치와 실천 (Value and Practice for Green Growth from the Perspective of Family Resource Management)

  • Since environmental problems were globalized, discussions on 'Sustainable Development' started from Rio Declaration on Environment and Development(Rio Agenda 21). In Korea, the idea of 'Green Growth' was introduced and generalized since the celebration speech made on 8.15(Independence Day of South Korea) on 2008. And Low Carbon- Green Growth Basic Law was established on 2010. There are 3 strategies and 10 sub-tasks to achieve green country-traffic and green revolution of life. Family resource management is capable of changing life style from energy wasty to ecologically green. The value of family resource management plays a critical role in changing the lifestyle through influencing the goal and standard setting. So, this study is aimed to suggest the green value and green way of life from the perspective of family resource management. Results are as follow. First, the green value is to change from 'material-oriented' to 'people-oriented'. The 'material-oriented value pursues pleasure from possessing, but the 'people-oriented' value pursues pleasure from being itself. Second, the change from the value of 'human-mastery of the nature' to the value of 'mother -nature' is necessary. The value of 'human-mastery of the nature' seeks pleasure from the velocity and tangible outcome. But the value of 'mother- nature' seeks pleasure from the time to relax and slow way of life. 'Third, the change from the value of 'individualism' to the value of 'community sprit' is necessary. Individualism focuses on man's achievement, which may fall into family egoism. And the green way of life suggests the change from 'results-oriented' to 'enjoy the process itself", from 'consumption' to 'ecological restoration' and from 'work to home and then home to community'.

Workforce Diversity: A Springboard for Employee Productivity and Customer Experience

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the differential effect of workforce diversity on employee productivity and its subsequent impact on customer experience. Research design, data and methodology: A once-off cross-sectional research design was used in this study where the Zimbabwean civil service was targeted. Randomization was used to collect 324 validated responses. The study focused on both primary (age and gender) and secondary (education and political affiliation) dimensions of workforce diversity. Results: The results were confirmatory that workforce diversity is a significant predictor of employee productivity (β = 0.668, P < 0.05), at the same time employee productivity holds explanation to customer experience by 37%. Results also revealed that gender diversity, educational diversity and political diversity were significant determinants of workforce diversity (P < 0.05). However, the study established that age diversity was not a significant factor in enhancing employee productivity (P > 0.05). Conclusions: The study concluded that workforce diversity is a powerful tool in enhancing both customer experience and employee productivity. As such, the latter can be augmented through shrewd workforce diversity practices as championed by management. To that end, the study recommends the development of a workforce diversity framework which promotes inclusivity.

  • The university mathematics education has been in a crisis during the last 10 years. In recent years, the crisis is rapidly amplified with a science-engineering student resource downsizing. In korea, government and industry have intervent several supporting policies to treat the mathematics-science-engineering crisis in university education. In this article, policies and its contents about human reasource development, industry-university co-ops, national skills standards are presented in context of university mathematics education.
