It has applied the design method of face to face dimension, an MC (Modular Coordination) design method, at design steps of an apartment house for standardization of architecture. But It has been still using center line size. A construction limit isn't specific on these center line size, and dead space occurs with excessive gaps as size matching isn't performed well between structural sieve and parts. And above all, measurement before construction isn't to expect standardization, and to increase custom-made furniture. We investigate manufacture of a preferential domestic system kitchen and construction state, and we derive from a problem in viewpoints of standardization for this. And we utilized a reference plane, and we present construction document and design plan in order to solve these problems. And we analyze an effect got by application of the assembly basis aspect that we presented, and we can raise efficiency of standardization of housing and construction industry, and we light ultimately up.

The purpose of this study is investigate the characteristics of color perception among Chinese people, and compare the characteristics among Korean, Chinese and Japanese people, using Munsell color space. The results are as follows: 1) Chinese people were more likely to tell accurately red, yellow red, yellow, purple, and an achromatic color, but did not do accurately green yellow, blue, and purple blue. In terms of a comparison of average perceived color and standard color, there were significant differences among green yellow, blue green, and blue and standard color; 2) Color perceptions of Korean, Chinese and Japanese people were broadly classified into four types. Also, of ten chromatic colors, the color perception type of only two colors, red and yellow, were is same among the groups of the three countries. However, the color perception type of yellow red, green, blue green and blue were different among them; and 3) In terms of a color perception accuracy test among the groups of the three countries, there were not significant differences between yellow and purple and standard color. However, significant differences existed between the rest of the colors and standard color.
The purpose of the study, approaching from the aspect of the construction technologies, is to determine the architectural techniques of traditional wood architects in existence, through which the systems and techniques that create the inherent characteristics of Korean Architecture are clarified. With understanding traditional construction system and focusing on the fact that built environment results from the consistent standards and technologies of architects, this study inquires into the systematic standard and its formation that present in the process of planning for the overall scale and shape of a building from the following (four) perspectives. The study determines the characteristics of '間(Kan)' (unit; fundamental unit that measures Korean traditional houses) and the methods of columns disposition of which the '間 (Kan)' is made up. Once the necessary spaces are decided according to the size of a building, then floor plans are drawn with the standard unit, '間(Kan)'. The '間(Kan)', as a modular unit, is not only composing the floor plans, but also functioning as an Area unit, Space unit and Structural unit. Composition of '間(Kan)' varies with disposition of columns, and therefore multiform of floor and spaces are created. In this study, the '間(Kan)', as a standard unit, is used in the form of specific size and area, and it is demonstrated how the floor plans are developed by organizing the columns in accordance with the spaces requested.

This research traces the history of legislative matters regarding the enactment and revision of laws and regulations related to the outdoor landscape in apartment complex. The years before 1976 can be classified as 'a period of darkness' for the landscape in apartment complex due to absence of landscape legislation. From the year of 1977 when the landscape planting and mere necessities were carried out according to the local administration's building standard to the year of 1990 can be classified as 'a period of quickening'. The year of after 1991 when the enactment of the code#32 called "the green space in site" in the "Korea Building Code" and the "Korea Housing Standard & Regulation" was made, and various construction regulations and provisions were revised in order to improve the scantiness of the apartment complex and its environment should be called 'a period of development'.

This study was motivated by the fact that the current tendency of social integration in apartment complex is not fully performed its functions as a recovery from the community. The purpose of the study is to provide basic data to be useful for living environment of apartment complex, through comparative analysis of residential conditions, community consciousness, and community facility using behavior of residents in national rental housing and condominium. The results are as follows. 1) Condominium's residents have high level of community consciousness compare to the national rental's. Even though both targets were generally above the average, housing and construction standard are required to reconsider for the enhancing of community consciousness of residents. 2) To activate the use frequency of community facility, the development and operation of the community program and the community space and facilities are constantly considered in the follow-up studies. 3) The more residents have high community consciousness, the more they use the community facilities.
The purpose of this study is to identify the supply status and planning trend of North Korean housing through analysis on the North Korean architecture specialized media data. The flat composition is changing and the living room is becoming the center of the houses. Also, in the urban areas, the standard apartment type is four apartments in a row and the plan form is getting diversified into circle type, Y type, and irregular type. On the other hand, in the rural areas, two houses in a row and single house are typical and the change in planning scale and space structure are not substantial. Since the 2000s, design changes have been made to emphasize the third dimensional structure of buildings such as the elliptical houses and L-shaped houses. Furthermore, 8~10 households are located on one floor which leads to the tendency of the building enlargement. In terms of house size, a square concept was introduced to replace the initial 2~3 room concept and the basic module of the room planning the 3 room house based on $3m{\times}3m$. However, there seems to be no standard house size, and the house size may differ depending on the social classandregion. In the early 1980s, when there was focus on the apartment complex construction, the high-rise apartment buildings of 30~40 floors was planned. However, during the Pyongyang redevelopment project, apartments of more or less than 10 floors were built and row-houses of more or less than 4 floors were built. In terms of the complex scale, a lot of small complexes of around 300 households are emerging after 2010. The construction projects are mainly limited to specific regions such as Pyongyang and Samjiyeon, and also limited to specific classes such as the workers and soldiers initially and the scientists lately. In addition, living boundary composition and ancillary facilities for sufficient green area ratio securement and the people of North Korea are maintained consistently. In recent years, the specialized floor planning such as solar house and the house for the disabled people, framework houses for redevelopment business, and multi-storied house construction technology are also emerging.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of Mario Botta's residential design. The characteristics of Mario Botta's residential design are following as : 1. The residential design of Mario Botta planed from 1960' to 1970's is based on the style composition method of modern design, specially by the influence of Le Corbusier and Louis I. Kahn. Botta's residential design of the 1980's is generally affected by A. Palladio, and is characterized as the representation of classic standard. The residential design of the 1980's shows the establishment level of Mario Botta's residential design, and produces particular Botta's facade. 2. The characteristics of Mario Botta's spatial composition on residential design could be implicated by the spatial distribution of each floor which is divided by three floors, simple and primitive volume which has a symmetry, opening through the massive elimination n the center of front, double skin, the contrast between void and solid, and the inflow of light through the top-light. 3. Most Botta's residential designs have Loggia in the center of facade working as a buffer space which joins outside and inside space together. They also lead the spatial continuous flow. The inside space is combined by the light coming through top-light and vertical opening. 4. They have high accomplishment in complicating details. They show the outside design of a horizontal belt according to the module of concrete block and the decorated design using compositional materials such as an unevenness piled up askew concrete block .

Purpose: Korea is expected to enter an aged society in 2018 and then a super-aged society in early 2025. The country's aging is progressing faster than any other country in the world. However, the foundation of the elderly friendly industry is weak, and measures at the government level are urgently needed. Especially, housing problems of the elderly are one of the most urgent measures to be taken. Korea does not have the minimum residential area standard for the elderly, and the current general minimum residential area standard is based on the survey of the housing situation without scientific evidence. Therefore, both standards need to be revised as soon as possible based on scientific evidence. Methods: The minimum residential area standard has been calculated following Karl H. E. Kroemer's Min or Max design also being called as-single cut and dual cut theory- as the maximum population value and minimum population value theory of Ernest J. McCormick. Therefore there is a need for a formula made using a few key factors, such as corresponding dimension, practical dimension, clearance, spare dimension, integrated dimension. These elements can be defined and used as formulas to calculate minimum residential area standards. Results: Assuming the results of the spatial variability in this study showed that it is possible to raise the standard of living in a terms of sustainable minimum size for the young, old and all residents. Implications: The government should set a minimum residential area standard with scientific grounds and set up a policy improving the life of people who live in an needy residential environment.
With the changing consciousness of community people and the rising standard of living, there has recently been an emphasis on the creation of public facilities' new functions and their role as local community facilities. This changing trends are accordingly requiring a change in spatial structure of the public facilities. In this study, an analysis was conducted with 24 public facilities situated in the Buk-gu district of Daegu to identify the adequacy of their space scale after functional variation. The results of this study are summarized as follows. 1) The site area of public facilities has been being widened after functional variation since more spaces are needed to provide an outdoor resting space with community people, expand a parking space, and operate a community center. 2) The factors that had a direct effect on the change in the use of space are the reduced space for administrative work and the expanded scope of the community center's function. Specifically, the areas of activities for civil service and administrative work and for reserve forces have been reduced due to reduction of function, and floor division by each function group has been becoming stricter due to addition of a community center's function. 3) It was shown that in terms of the space for functions of public facilities, spaces for civil service and waiting have increased mostly after function variation. After functional variation, the scale of spaces for civil service and administrative work has been being planned within the range of $200\~300 m^2$, regardless of the number of population to be covered by public facilities. 4) The space for public use is showing the greatest increase in public facilities which have been built after functional variation. The major factors seem to be the increased moving passages, the expanded convenient facilities for community people, and the increased convenient facilities for disabled. Facilities scale plans have been being made more systematically, compared to the conventional facilities.
The purpose of this study is to provide basic data needed for planning apartment community spaces in order to vitalize rental apartments. Indoor community spaces of 12 rental apartments in Seoul and Kyunggi were examined. The results are as follows. First, the layout types of indoor community spaces in rental apartment complexes were found out to be mostly the building type planned in the piloties of the apartment, or the singular type placed in a singular building. Depending on the layout type, the spaces were mostly concentrated at the outskirt of the complex or the in-between space of the main building, thus lowering their recognition. Thereby, they were not satisfactory for utilization of the spaces and association of residents. Second, Indoor community space legal establishment standard and square measure did not reflect resident's feature except elderly spaces, and there was problem in activation of space. Third, as for the spatial planning of indoor community space, although each space was categorized by the users' age, the furniture and appliance planning considering users was not satisfactory. The area calculation by the type of space did not reflect the users' characteristics, thus causing problems in using the facilities. Fourth, as for the management and programs of the indoor community space, spaces were managed after categorized by the major user classes such as children, seniors, and adolescents. Depending on eagerness of program managers of each apartment complex, the level of program management varied. The survey results showed that, in most cases, almost no programs were used or merely basic management and programs were being provided.
