장유신도시 주거환경에 대한 거주 후 평가 (Post-Occupancy Evaluation of Housing Environments of Jangyou New Town in Gimhae)

  • The purpose of the study was to perform the post-occupancy evaluation of housing environments of Jangyou New Town in Gimhae. The data for the analysis was collected through questionnaire survey method from August 10 to 27, 2010, and the sample consisted of 524 respondents living in apartment complexes in Jangyou. The features of housing environment were categorized into unit housing, apartment complex, and neighborhood and total 28 specific items were included in the evaluation. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and analysis of variance with Duncan's multiple range tests. The results were as follows: 1) Overall evaluation of housing environment of the residents in Jangyou were relatively high, expecially in floor plan layout of unit housing, self-expression through apartment complex, and natural environment of neighborhood. 2) The demographic and housing variables that had significant influences on the post-occupancy evaluation were age of the respondent, monthly income, apartment size and tenure type of apartment. Respondents who were over sixty years old, with monthly income of less than 2,000,000 won, or living in public rental apartments were more likely to evaluate overall housing environment positively than rest of the respondents.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide information needed to the construction of the co-housing in the urban area. This study focused on the characteristics of co-housing in its planning process of private house & common space; 'economy', 'creativity' & 'sociality'. The object of this study is co-housing in 'Seongmi-san Village' in Seoul, which was built by a coordination company with residents' participation. The methods are investigating interview materials, floor plans of 9 households, & common space plans produced in the coordination process from the basic plan of private house & common space to the final plan. The results are as follows. 1) The size and plan of private house differed from each other. The water pipe location differed from each floor, so that there were difficulties in construction. In conclusion, these made no 'economy', but brought high 'creativity'. 2) The 'sociality' would be estimated as high because there were various types of resident participation; resident interviews on the planning, workshops for private housing plan, and workshops for common space.

대구시 장래가구 추정과 주택정책의 함의 (Estimating Housing Demands and Setting Out Suitable Housing Policies for a Metropolitan City of Daegu)

  • The purpose of this study is to estimate the housing demands in order to address a suitable housing policy for a metropolitan city of Daegu in South Korea. Although the population of Daegu declines, a number of households increase since a number of people per households decrease. Currently a household with four people is a main housing type, however it is expected that a household with one or two increase. In 2017, a household with one will be dominant. Estimating housing sizes and their demand, the households below $60\;m^2$ gradually decline while those over $85\;m^2$ is expected to rise. Nevertheless, the demands for the house below $60\;m^2$ in its size increase at 39.2 per cent. Currently a house with $60\;m^2$ is being constructed. In particular, that of $85\;m^2$ gradually increases. The current trends may result in the widening gaps between the household demand and supply of Daegu. Therefore, it is recommended that relevant local authorities and developers should consider providing various house sizes by taking the current housing demand of Daegu into account.

  • Making of agreement with participation subjects is important process laying stress on presentation and a reasonable design guide line to form space order grant and synthetic space in Housing Complex plan. This study analyzed residing application specific character of design guide line that is presented to architects in general planning laying stress on plan only of 'Bongmu-dong town house' and design agreement of by architectural result that appear analyze. Result that analyze is as following: 1) Confer in 18 plan contents and integrate design or was adjusted. Being main conduct and unit plan and residing only in plan many negotiations accomplish. Architect who confer most Designs of 5 architects is 'Jean Michel Wilmott' and 'Shigeru Ban' 2) contents that confer much in plan main conduct and unit generation were details plan. Contents that is conferred with many architects are about door/core/rooftop be and asked a question about proper size of entrance. Negotiation about size was expose to the tribe of knowledge about element that do furniture and detail of necessary each space in life style of our country. We must present furnitures or detail element that appear by emotion of our country and detailed item of furnitures' size etc.. in guide line. It is immediate that creation of guide that architects can approach easily for lacking abroad architects of interests by code difference in each country is pressing. 3) In residing plan 4 architects of 5 architects applied similarly guide line in design. Most architects look by active support that make synthetic housing complex. and this is construed that act positively to make by unified residing. That plan of woods or landscape architecture and security of green area space are thing to approach on 'Environment-friendly mode of life residing only' that is general planning subject of 'Bongmu-dong town house'. 4) common question items of architects guide line of though is refered definitely when make out effective interests plan. So that can overcome legislation difference, countermeasure to make understood construction code of our country is pressing

북한 건축 전문매체 분석을 통한 살림집 계획 동향 (North Korean Housing Planning Trend through Analysis on North Korean Architectural Media)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the supply status and planning trend of North Korean housing through analysis on the North Korean architecture specialized media data. The flat composition is changing and the living room is becoming the center of the houses. Also, in the urban areas, the standard apartment type is four apartments in a row and the plan form is getting diversified into circle type, Y type, and irregular type. On the other hand, in the rural areas, two houses in a row and single house are typical and the change in planning scale and space structure are not substantial. Since the 2000s, design changes have been made to emphasize the third dimensional structure of buildings such as the elliptical houses and L-shaped houses. Furthermore, 8~10 households are located on one floor which leads to the tendency of the building enlargement. In terms of house size, a square concept was introduced to replace the initial 2~3 room concept and the basic module of the room planning the 3 room house based on $3m{\times}3m$. However, there seems to be no standard house size, and the house size may differ depending on the social classandregion. In the early 1980s, when there was focus on the apartment complex construction, the high-rise apartment buildings of 30~40 floors was planned. However, during the Pyongyang redevelopment project, apartments of more or less than 10 floors were built and row-houses of more or less than 4 floors were built. In terms of the complex scale, a lot of small complexes of around 300 households are emerging after 2010. The construction projects are mainly limited to specific regions such as Pyongyang and Samjiyeon, and also limited to specific classes such as the workers and soldiers initially and the scientists lately. In addition, living boundary composition and ancillary facilities for sufficient green area ratio securement and the people of North Korea are maintained consistently. In recent years, the specialized floor planning such as solar house and the house for the disabled people, framework houses for redevelopment business, and multi-storied house construction technology are also emerging.

공동주택의 부부 전용공간 분석 (An Analysis on the Characteristic of the Master-Zone Planning in the Apartment Building)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze space composition and size of the Master Zone in the apartment unit plan. For this, we analyzed 435 samples by searching web-sites of the 5 main construction companies. The major results of this study are as follows. 1) Master Zone is organized 4 spaces such as main room, bathroom and make-up & dress room. Six types of Master Zone are classified with the composition of 4 spaces. 2) The size of the Master Zone is increased in proportion to the square meter. But the range of the ratio is small range of fluctuation as 20%${\sim}$30%. 3)The size and ratio of the each spaces of the Master Zone are analyzed. The size of bedroom is increased but the ratio is decreased. The size of bathroom is increased but the ratio is regular as 4%${\sim}$5%. The size of make-up and dressing room is generally increased but the range of the size and ratio is the most extensive. Through this analysis and research, this study would be provied the basic data for actual housing planning and to contribute to future trends of apartment houses.

  • This Paper focuses on discusing how to select, arrange and evaluate furniture and how to estimate the space of the living room.In this Paper, the size of the living room was manipulated in 3 . ways;66-95.7m2, 99-128.7 m2 and more of 132 m2.The major findings are as follows:1) The subjects in the larger size select or arrange furniture more diversely and show the higher satisfactory level for the arrangement of furniture than those in the smaller ,size do.2) The subjects in the smaller size shows the conflict between their plan for the furniture \ulcorner arrangement and their evaluation for the arranged furniture.3) The variables affecting the estimation of the living room are the arrangement, the color, the number and tile design of furniture.4) Five dimensions(activity, evaluation luxry, plenty and openness)are extracted by factor analysis.

  • The purpose of this study was to survey the residential satisfaction of the residents who lives in Bundang in order to offer the information helpful to housing designers and housing policy makers. Documentary research and questionnaire survey methods were used in this research. The sample was taken from 320 the residents living in Seoul. Data were analyzed with the SPSS PC+ window version. The results were as follows: 1) residents were satisfied with rather their housing unit than residential environment, 2) there is significant difference the evaluation of residential satisfaction according to the age of husband and wife, the educational level of wife, 3) there is significant difference the evaluation of residential satisfaction according to living area, housing type, housing size, homeownership, living period

  • A goal of this research is to propose and testify the remodeling possibility from deteriorated stock apartment housing, to three generation family living in a dwelling unit for low incomes. An apartment housing which is introduced from 1970s, is accumulated over 55% of the stock housing in Korea, many of them are confront with a rebuilding in a short usage of twenty years below. They were built in a small one, and it testified from two to one conversion in this article that can be applicated in a 10, 13, 14, I5, and 16 pyung, the remodeling size became from 20 to 36 pyung. In this article, we can see a reform model in possible for three generation family living in the small apartment house.

Membrane Concentrate Thickening by Hollow-fiber Microfilter in Drinkin Water Treatment Processes

  • A novel system to thicken the concentrated colloidal solution from membrane water treat-ment processes was developed. A hollow-fiber microfilter(hydrophilic polyethylene nominal pore size 0.1 ${\mu}$m total surface area 0.42 m2) was installed in an acrylic housing that has an aeration port 5 cm below the membrane and a clarifier in the bottom. The concentrate was uniformly supplied from the top of the housing. Bacuum filtration caused downward flow of concentrate and as a result thickening interface. The addition of poly-aluminum chloride (PAC) resulted in rapid increase of trans-membrane pressure (TMP) and in no improvement of the filtered water turbidity and thickening process. Two types of con-centrate and concentrate turbidity had little effect on the increase of TMP and concentrate thickening. It was observed that for the same height of membrane housing membrane surface area to housing volume (A/V) ratio had significant effect on the increase of TMP. When the housing volume was increased ten times the increasing rate of TMP was three times faster as compared to the original housing. A hydraulic model successfully simulated the formation and sedimentation of thickening interface.
