-10℃ 조건에서의 열선 열용량 크기 변화에 따른 슬래브 콘크리트의 온도이력 특성 (Characteristics of Temperature History of Slab concrete by the Change of Hot wire Heat Capacity at -10℃)

  • In this study, the characteristics of temperature history was evaluated for three hot wires with different capacity installed in slab concrete which are relatively thin. Results can be summarized as follows. First, for the case of material using 5W hot wire, all decreased to below zero at or around 24 hours. Similarly, the material using 20W hot wire decreased to 2℃ below zero at or around 80 hours but satisfied the accumulative temperature of 45° D·D at 7 days of material age. On the other hand, the case of 30W hot wire, the biggest capacity, showed the high temperature history of 5℃ in average at all areas except the corners. Thus, the target accumulative temperature was secured at or around the 3 days of material age. Considering the above, the initial damage by freezing can be prevented only if 20W or higher hot wires are used for the slabs at -10℃ of extremely low temperature environment.

  • Equipment to cauterize tumors by an electrically heated Kanthal wire is under development. The wire( alloy of iron, chromium and Aluminum) keeps sufficient strength up to 1400 degrees in Celsius. Although AC 50Hz current source is used in the prototype experiment, RF current will be used in future. The diameter of the Kanthal wire was 0.3 mm which was connected to Kanthal wire of 0.8 mm. The thicker wire was used as a leading wire. The possibility of application of the heating wire in combination with an ultrasound endoscope was determined, where ultrasound endoscope is to be used to monitor the location on the wire and an extent of a tumor in digestive organs. This procedure requires the wire to be applied inside ultrasound transmitting media. First, the wire was applied in the degassed water in which a chicken liver sample was submerged. The wire, however, burned out in water soon after it became red-hot at 12 A. The reason is that large current is required for the wire to become red-hot due to strong convection. Starch paste of 3 weight percent was employed instead of water. This made the wire red-hot approximately at 6 A, showing the increased viscosity of the starch decreased the convection and the wire was cover by the steam. The liver sample was cauterized successively, while the location of the wire and the liver was monitored by an ultrasound diagnosis equipment outside the plastic vessel of the starch paste.

  • Hot hydrostatic extruder was developed. The main objective of the development is forming fine wire and tube. On account of effectiveness and high performance, the extruder was designed to have double action. Therefore the main cylinder and mandrel can be driven independently. To cope with severe condition of high temperature and pressure, wire-wound container equipped with heater was used. Sealing technique also is important in this process, so seal ring was made of super-elastic metal. Another key for successful forming is choice of proper pressure medium. Fine wire and tube produced by the extruder can be used in semiconductor industry and medicine.

  • 본 연구에서는 주유동 방향이 알려진 3차원 난류유동에서 열선유속계의 경사 형 프로브와 Ⅰ형 프로브를 회전시키므로써 3방향 속도성분과 6방향 레이놀즈 응력을 비교적 간편하고 정확히 측정하는 방법을 고안하여 사용하였다.

  • 본 논문은 카본열선을 사용하는 전기장판에서 발생한 전기화재에 관하여 기술하였다. 카본열선을 사용하는 전기장판은 카본 재질의 특성상 전기용접이나 납땜 등의 방법으로 접속이 불가능하며, 열선 끝단을 카본 재질의 연결부를 만들어 접속해야 한다. 이러한 과정에서 열선 사이의 불완전 접속이 발생되며, 불완전 접속부에는 접촉저항의 증가로 국부적인 발열이 발생되고, 최종적으로 화재사고로 진전된다. 본 논문에서는 카본 열선 접속부에서 불완전 접속이 형성되는 경우, 접속부에서 전기적 발열에 의해 발생되는 열선의 손상 형태를 분석하여 화재원인을 규명하였다. 이러한 분석 결과는 카본 열선을 사용하는 전기장판의 화재원인 조사의 기초 자료로 활용 가능할 것으로 기대한다.

비정상열선법에서 열선의 절연코팅이 선형구간의 초기시점에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Insulation Coating on Start Time of Linear Region for Transient Hot-wire Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 절연된 열선을 이용한 비정상열선법에서 열선의 절연코팅이 선형구간의 초기시점에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위하여 이론적인 연구를 수행해 보았다. 이를 위해, 절연된 열선의 온도상승에 관한 해석적 해에서 선형구간의 초기시점에 영향을 미치는 중요한 인자들을 파악해 보았으며, 이러한 인자들의 영향이 무시할 만큼 작아지는 임계시간(critical time)에 대한 연구를 수행해 보았다. 이론적인 연구 결과, 열선의 반경 및 코팅의 두께가 작을수록 절연코팅의 영향이 빠르게 감소하였고, 또한 절연물질의 열전도도가 크고 열확산계수가 작을수록 절연코팅의 영향이 빠르게 감소함을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 절연된 열선을 이용한 비정상열선법에서, 선형구간의 초기시점을 결정하는데 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.

  • 난류 경계층 내부 와류 구조물 형상을 측정하기 위해 열선 유속계(Hot-wire sensor)를 스테퍼 모터 컨트롤러(Stepper motor controller)에 고정하여 측정 지점으로 이동시켰다. 유동장 내 표면 근처 유속은 상대적으로 느려 차후 측정 데이터 해석 시 신호처리 과정에서 전자파 간섭으로 민감하게 반응하게 된다. 전자파 잡음은 주로 컴퓨터나 기타 전자 장비의 전원 공급에서 발생하는데, 실험 장비 중 전원이 활성화된 스테퍼 모터(Stepper motor)에서 전자파 잡음이 열선 유속계와 연결된 BNC 케이블로 유입되었다. 이는 열선 유속계를 이동시키기 위해 모터 컨트롤러(Motor controller)에 전원 공급이 인가되면, 오실로스코프 화면에 전자파 잡음이 나타나는 것을 확인하였다. 열선 유속계에서 측정된 데이터에 예상치 못한 잡음이 포함될 가능성이 있으므로, 이를 감소시키고 측정 과정에서 신호대 잡음비(Signal-to -Noise Ratio, SNR)를 향상하도록 연결 케이블을 차폐시키고 전자파가 차단되는 컴퓨터로 교체하였다.

운전자의 심리·생리 반응을 고려한 승용차 쾌적 난방 모드에 관한 연구 (Research on the Thermal Comfort Heating Mode Considering Psychological and Physiological Response of Automobile Drivers)

  • In this research, the psychological and physiological reactions of the driver were measured during winter to evaluate thermal comfort. The experiment was conducted using 3 different cases which are hot air heating, warm-wire seat heating and hot air & warm-wire seat heater operating simultaneously. With regard to psychological reaction, the warm-wire heating mode was the most preferred. The reason is that it is dry in other cases. With regard to EEG response, thermal comfort increased by 37% in warm air mode heating. In addition, when the warm-wire heating mode and the hot air & warm-wire heating mode were simultaneously operated, the thermal comfort continuously increased by between 17% and 20% for 20 minutes after boarding. Under the change of the autonomic nervous system, the thermal stress level increased by 23% after 15 minutes on board in the hot air heating mode and decreased continuously by 13% during the warm-wire seat heating mode. We recommended the hot air heating mode is only used for a short time to raise the inside temperature during the early boarding period and that warm-wire seat heating mode be actively utilized.

  • A measurement device for gas flow rate using hot-wire module is developed for the utilization in low-accuracy industrial applications. The module has three wires of measuring and heating, and a bridge circuit is installed to detect electric current through the wire in the module. An amplification of the signal and conversion to digital output are conducted for the online measurement with a personal computer. In addition, temperature distribution in the module is numerically analyzed to examine the measured outcome from the module experiment. The flow rate of air and carbon dioxide gas is separately measured for the performance examination of the device. The experimental relation of measurement and flow agrees with the prediction from the numerical analysis. The outcome of the performance test indicates that the accuracy and reproducibility of the module is satisfactory for the purpose of industrial applications.

삼직교 열선유속계의 간편한 측정법 개발 (Development of Easy Measurement Method of Orthogonal Triple-Sensor Hot-Wire Anemometer)

  • Easy measurement method of orthogonal triple-sensor hot-wire anemometer is developed. Advantages of the new method is that it does not require either the exact orthogonality of the installed wires which cannot be kept during the probe manufacture and repair, nor the knowledge of the wire installation angles and the yaw and pitch coefficient of the wires. The new method introduced yaw and pitch calibration coefficients which are designed to increase monotonically with yaw and pitch angles. So the resulting calibration network is simple to recognize compared with that of the previously suggested calibration method. Verification experiments showed good accuracy and independency of the directional calibration on velocity.
