Complex sensorless control scheme is difficult to utilize in field of home appliance system because of cost problem. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce simplified sensorless control scheme that is composed of least calculation to estimate the rotor position. This paper presents the principle of the rotor position estimation with comparison of the estimated flux linkage and reference flux linkage. In order to verify the feasibility of control scheme, simulation with MATLAB and experiment is performed.

Permanent magnet synchronous motors are mainly used in the traction of electric vehicle and home application products including air-conditioners and refrigerators. For sensorless control without rotor position sensors, I-F control is applied for initial starting at low speeds, and mode is changed to sensorless control when the rotor speed is sufficiently accelerated for estimating rotor position. When the mode is changed to the sensorless control from the open-loop starting, the initial integral value of the speed controller should be considered by load condition; otherwise, the transition to sensorless control may fail. The sensorless transfer algorithm of PM synchronous motor based on load condition for smooth transition is proposed. The performance of the proposed sensorless transfer algorithm was verified by experiments.

While health information-seeking behavior as an indicator of health communication of patients including cancer survivors has been researched, few studies have focused on how socioeconomic position and media use combine to influence health-related information seekers. This study examined social characteristics of health information-seeking behavior taking into account an individual's socioeconomic position and their media use in Korea, a developed country. The data for this study came from a survey of 1,010 respondents drawn from a nationally representative sample in the Republic of Korea. We conducted multivariate logistic regression analyses for gender-specific effects. We found that men who reported high household income were one and half times more likely to seek health information than those with low income status. We also found that women who performed Internet searches by computer at home were almost two times more likely to seek health information than those who did not. Similar results were found for men as well. Our analyses revealed that socioeconomic position and media use are associated with health information-seeking behavior by gender. Studies on information seekers may bring us more effective health promotion and relevant intervention for people with chronic conditions including cancer survivors.

In this system, mobile devices are not independent, they can communicate with each other, one device's change can affect the whole system or other devices. To achieve the above mentioned A Self-Reconfigurable System of Contents, through discover the device and connect process, to establish the connection between the mobile devices. After user assigns two dimension display type, the user can select content to input the system, contents are portioning and broadcast to devices. The system can self-reconfigure contents rapidly and exactly. This technique supports contents self-reconfiguration for devices remove, addition and position exchange. In this paper, when the user uses the hand contacts device, the device sends a signal to assist the system to detection device's position. The system does not need to get accurate devices moving direction, just according to all changed devices position to judge where the devices destination is. This research develops an application according to this technique, and the real machine tests the application using Android platform. Some communication protocols and mathematical modeling methods are proposed. These methods can also be used in other Internet of Things (IoT) fields, such as Drones Navigation, Smart Home, and Informational City management.

Purpose: The purposes of this study were to understand the general hospital nurses' work stress, burn out and turnover intention and to identify the factors that influence on turnover intention. Methods: This study was conducted through a survey of 283 nurses having at least 6 months of work experience of 4 general hospitals in Seoul. Data were collected from September to October 2009. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, and stepwise multiple regression test with SPSS WIN 14.0. Results: The score for turnover intention was 3.57 out of 5. Turnover intention was significantly correlated with work stress, burn out, and working position. The factors influencing turnover intention were organizational system, depersonalization, physical environment, work position, and occupational climate. The predict variables accounted for 27.9% of turnover intention. Conclusion: The results of this study show that factors influencing turnover intention are organizational system, depersonalization, physical environment, work position, and organizational climate. Therefore, nursing managers should understand the organization's climate and establish a reasonable organization system to decrease turnover intention.

The purpose of this study was to investigate and compare visiting intentions by positive and negative Word-of-Mouth (WOM) and/or information of beauty shop between female college students and adult women. Data were collected from 500 consumers (250 from female students and 250 adult women) and was analyzed by using frequencies, factor analysis, t-tests and multiple regression utilizing SPSS/PC+. The findings revealed positive experience factors to prudent service, time saving/consideration for customer's position, kindness/operating system in waiting time, added services, employees' attitudes, excellent beauty and response skill, rational price and recall system/remind for customer. The negative experiences were inconsistent service, operators' convenient service, irrational price/poor skill/non-recall, non-customer central service, inappropriate face-to-face management to customer. Also, the results showed that the positive WOM information such as prudent service, time saving/consideration for customer's position, excellent beauty and response skill and rational price had influence on the visiting intention in case of female college students. The negative WOM information like non-customer central service, had influence on the visiting intention in cases of adult women.

In order to minimize casualties from marine vessel accidents that occur frequently at home and abroad, it is important to ensure the safety of the passengers aboard the vessel in the event of an accident. There is an EPIRB system as a system for disaster preparedness in the marine situation currently on the market, but there is a problem that the price is very expensive. In order to overcome the cost problem, which is a disadvantage of previous system, LoRaWAN-based communication is used. LoRaWAN communication-based vessel positioning and risk detection system based on LoRaWAN communication transmits measurement data of each module using two Beacon and GPS modules to stably perform position measurement for both indoor and outdoor situations. The rider danger situation detection system can detect the safety status of the rider using the 3-axis acceleration sensor, collect data from the rider positioning system and the rider safety status detection system, and send to server using LoRa communication. When conducting communication experiments in the long-distance maritime situation and actual communication experiments using the implemented system, it was found that the two experiments showed over 90% communication success rate on average.

The inverter fed BLDC(Brushless DC) motor has been increasingly applied to industry and home appliances due to the advance of power electronics and permanent magnet technology, and its high efficiency and good acoustic noise characteristics. The BLDC motor and drives, however, require the rotor position sensors that may cause some problems such as the high cost and space. In this paper, sensorless algorithm for an interior permanent magnet BLDC motor is proposed. The maximum torque per ampere operation with advance angle considering load torque and speed was simulated and verified through the experiment.

Index of performance is dervied from consideration of movement times in routine selection tasks. The discrete movement task employed in this study consisted of moving a cursor from the home position to targets located 6.8, 15.9, 25.0, and 34.0 cm. The target widths were 2.3, 4.5, and 6.8cm. Eight subjects with nomovement disabilities took part in the experiment. Fitts' law is found to be applicable in this experiment.
