식생활 라이프 스타일에 따른 편의점도시락 이용 현황과 만족도에 관한 연구: 서울, 경기 및 충청지역 성인을 대상으로 (A Study on the Utilization and Satisfaction of Convenience Store Lunchbox by Food-Related Lifestyle: On the Adults in their 20s and older in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Chungcheong Provinces)

  • 본 연구는 편의점 도시락을 이용한 경험이 있는 성인 817명을 대상으로 식생활 라이프 스타일에 따른 편의점 도시락 이용현황과 만족도 차이를 분석하였고 편의점 도시락 시장에 효율적인 메뉴 구성과 개선 방향을 제안하는 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 식생활 라이프 스타일 유형을 군집분석한 결과는 미각추구 집단, 경제추구 집단, 편의추구 집단, 건강추구 집단 등의 4가지 집단으로 군집화되었다. 도시락 이용현황을 살펴보면 도시락 제품 구매가격은 3,500~4,000원이었고, 도시락은 주로 점심 식사용으로, 혼자 먹는 것으로 나타났다. 편의점 도시락에 대한 정보를 얻는 곳으로는 편의점 매장, 인터넷 SNS 순이었다(p<0.05). 도시락은 영양성분을 고려하여 구매하였고(p<0.001) 중요한 영양소는 단백질, 열량, 나트륨이라고 하였다. 도시락의 용기는 위생적이고 청결해야 하며 용기 표면에 제품에 대한 정보를 부착하는 것을 중요하게 생각하고 있었다(p<0.01). 4개의 군집 중 경제추구집단은 도시락의 맛(3.66점)과 양(3.60점)에서 가장 만족도가 높았고(p<0.001), 다음은 가격(3.49점), 열량(3.43점)순이었다(p<0.01). 건강추구 집단은 메뉴의 다양성(3.76점)에서 만족도가 높은 반면 편의추구 집단은 메뉴의 다양성(3.47점)에서 만족도가 낮게 나타났고(p<0.05), 모든 집단에서 도시락 구매의 편리성(p<0.001)과 제품브랜드의 신뢰성, 다양한 할인제공도 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 음식의 영양과 조미료의 첨가 여부는 상대적으로 낮은 만족도를 보였다. 도시락의 밥종류로는 백미밥을 선호하였고(p<0.001) 좋아하는 식재료는 육류인 것으로 나타났다(p<0.01). 모든 집단에서 밥과 찬으로 구성된 도시락을 좋아하였고 저염식과 고단백식을 지향하였으나 유의적인 차이는 없었다. 앞으로도 편의점 도시락은 계속 이용할 것이며(p<0.01), 주변인에게 구매의 편리함과, 저렴한 가격, 신선한 재료, 풍부한 영양 등으로 도시락 이용을 추천하겠다고 하였다. 본 연구의 조사결과 모든 집단에서 가장 중요한 요인은 맛으로 나타났으며, 편리성에서 가장 높은 만족도를 보였지만 음식의 영양과 조미료의 첨가 여부는 상대적으로 낮은 만족도를 나타냈다. 따라서 편의점 도시락 시장이 성장하기 위해서는 도시락의 품질개선과 다양한 메뉴 개발 등이 이루어져야 할 것으로 보인다.

공공 빅데이터를 이용한 치매 노인 사망장소의 결정요인: 지역보건의료자원의 영향 (Impact of Community Health Care Resources on the Place of Death of Older Persons with Dementia in South Korea Using Public Administrative Big Data)

  • Background: This study aimed to analyze the impact of community health care resources on the place of death of older adults with dementia compared to those with cancer in South Korea, using public administrative big data. Methods: Based on a literature review, we selected person- and community-level variables that can affect older people's decisions about where to die. Data on place-of-death and person-level attributes were obtained from the 2013 death certification micro data from Statistics Korea. Data on the population and economic and health care resources in the community where the older deceased resided were obtained from various open public administrative big data including databases on the local tax and resident population statistics, health care resources and infrastructure statistics, and long-term care (LTC) insurance statistics. Community-level data were linked to the death certificate micro data through the town (si-gun-gu) code of the residence of the deceased. Multi-level logistic regression models were used to simultaneously estimate the impacts of community as well as individual-level factors on the place of death. Results: In both the dementia (76.1%) and cancer (87.1%) decedent groups, most older people died in the hospital. Among the older deceased with dementia, hospital death was less likely to occur when the older person resided in a community with a higher supply of LTC facility beds, but hospital death was more likely to occur in communities with a higher supply of LTC hospital beds. Similarly, among the cancer group, the likelihood of a hospital death was significantly lower in communities with a higher supply of LTC facility beds, but was higher in communities with a higher supply of acute care hospital beds. As for individual-level factors, being female and having no spouse were associated with the likelihood of hospital death among older people with dementia. Conclusion: More than three in four older people with dementia die in the hospital, while home is reported to be the place of death preferred by Koreans. To decrease this gap, an increase in the supply of end-of-life (EOL) care at home and in community-based service settings is necessary. EOL care should also be incorporated as an essential part of LTC. Changes in the perception of EOL care by older people and their families are also critical in their decisions about the place of death, and should be supported by public education and other related non-medical, social approaches.

청도새마을운동 기념공원 기본계획 (A Study on the Landscape plan to the Cheongdo Saemaeul Movement Memorial Park)

  • The Saemaeul Movement, which is the representative national campaign of Korea aimed at the development of local communities, has drawn a great deal of attention from home and abroad and formed an element of Korea's national brand since 2000. Accordingly, this research was conducted for the purpose of constructing a memorial park in Shindo Village, Cheongdo County, North Kyoungsang Province, which is a home to the Saemaeul Movement. As the Saemaeul Movement is benchmarked by many countries around the world today, this research aims to communicate the spirit and social value of the movement and disseminate its effects of local community development in rural areas through the construction of a memorial park. In this study, the design motive of the memorial park was conceived through the historical review and case studies of the Saemaeul Movement. In parallel, theoretical study was also conducted on design techniques as the basis of this research. In consideration of the characteristics of a technical article, this research was conducted in several phases. In the first phase, the conditions of the site where the park construction was planned were analyzed and the direction of its development was set. In the second phase, the main theme and the basic principles of planning were established, and the contents of the park construction project were devised in detail. In the last phase, a comprehensive plan was established, including a space layout to accommodate activities, facilities and programs to be introduced to the park. The park construction site ($106,000m^2$) was divided into four zones (memorial zone, historical theme park, education zone and experience zone) based on circulation planning aimed at creating memorial space, and was linked to eco-friendly ecological space in consideration of environmental features. At a time when the Saemaeul Movement is being propagated across the world, the result of this study will help create a place for its memorial and play a pivotal role to boost international movements aimed at promoting co-prosperity across the global village. It will also bear significance as an example of theme-based park construction in a rural area and the invigoration of a local community.

유아의 채소편식 감소와 정서지능 향상을 위한 컬러푸드 원예활동 (Horticultural Activities Using Colorful Food for the Improvement of Emotional Intelligence and the Reduction of Unbalanced Vegetable Diet of Young Children)

  • 본 연구는 컬러푸드 채소류를 활용한 원예활동과 영양교육을 실시하여 채소편식을 감소시키고 정서지능을 향상 시키고자 하였다. 컬러푸드 채소류 원예활동은 유치원 7차 교육과정의 건강생활영역을 기초로 하여 영양교육의 요소들을 적용하였고, 유아의 지속적인 식습관의 개선과 효과를 위해 가정과 연계한 학부모교육 프로그램을 통합 실시하였다. 연구대상은 서울시에 소재한 어린이집의 만 4세반 유아들로 총 70명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 원예활동 영양교육군은 컬러푸드 채소류 원예활동과 영양교육을 실시하였고, 영양교육군은 영양교육만 실시하였으며 대조군은 원예활동과 영양교육 모두를 실시하지 않았다. 연구기간은 2011년 9월부터 12월까지 주 1회 60분씩 총 12회 실시하였다. 유아용 영양지식검사 결과는 대조군에 비해 영양교육군과 원예활동 영양교육군의 영양지식은 향상되었으며, 특히 원예활동 영양교육군에서 더욱 유의하게 향상되었다. 편식행동에서는 대조군에 비해 원예활동 영양교육군에서 유의한 감소를 보였다. 또한 채소선호도에서도 원예활동 영양교육군은 채소류의 선호도 증가에 유의한 향상을 보였다. 정서지능에서는 하위항목인 자기인식, 자기조절, 타인인식, 타인조절에서 자기인식과 타인인식에서는 대조군, 영양교육군과 원예활동 영양교육군 사이에 유의한 차이가 없었다. 반면 자기조절에서 대조군에 비해 영양교육군과 원예활동 영양교육군의 점수가 높았지만, 영양교육군과 원예활동 영양교육군의 사이에서는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 또한, 타인조절에서는 원예활동 영양교육군이 영양교육군 보다 매우 유의하게 향상되었다. 이러한 결과를 볼 때 영양교육만을 실시한 유아들 보다 원예활동을 실시한 유아들이 채소와 과일의 색에 자연스럽게 반응하고 즐거워하는 정서적 감성과 컬러푸드 채소를 직접 키워보는 원예활동을 통해 자발적인 섭취를 하게 되어 채소편식이 감소되는 결과를 알 수 있다. 그러므로 본연구의 컬러푸드 채소류 원예활동은 채소 편식으로 인한 유아의 건강의 불균형 문제점을 해결하는데 효과적인 대안이 될 수 있을 것이라 생각한다.

고교 생물의 오버헤드 프로젝터용 필름 제작 및 전달 매체로서의 CD-ROM과 홈페이지의 설계 (Development of Overhead Projector Films, CD-ROM, and Bio-Cosmos Home Page as Teaching Resources for High School Biology)

  • 고등학교 생물교육의 강의 및 학습의 효율증진을 위한 영상매체로써 오버헤드 프로젝터 필름(OHP)을 제작하였으며 이의 전달매체로써 CD-ROM및 웹용 홈페이지를 설계하였다. 본 필름은 제6차 교육과정에 의해 개정된 공통과학 및 생물교과서에 수록된 내용을 총 망라하는 방향에서 천연색으로 제작하였으며 도안의 선명도, 수려성, 청정성, 색상, 명암, 인지도 등에서 내용의 질적 우월성을 시도하였고 교수 학생내용 상호간의 관련성을 감안하여 학습항진효과를 극대화하는 측면에서 설계되고 제작되었다. 제6차 교육 과정에 의해 개정된 공통과학 및 생물 교과서 7 종에 수록된 내용을 총 망라하는 방향에서 교재를 분석한 후 가장 다빈도로 출현하는 내용을 우선적으로 제작하였다. CD-ROM은 로고(logo), 초기 메인(main), 학습목록, 내용, 종료 등의 화면으로 구성되어 있고 초기 메인 화면은 공통과학, 생물I, 생물II, 교과서에 수록된 단원의 내용(장)목록을 제시한 후 내용세부 문항, 실제내용화면으로 하이퍼링크 시켰다. 내용화면은 교과서 내용의 요약, 그림 및 사진과 그 해설, 실험과정 및 결과의 요약, 표에 의한 내용의 정리 등 4가지 형식으로 제작된 필름 화면이 우선적으로 수록되어 있으나, 비디오 영상수취(video capture)에 의한 화면이나 인쇄 버턴, 자료의 설명 또는 해설, 용어 해설 등의 버턴과 연결시킨 경우도 있다. OHP 파일은 제작시 포토샵(Adobe Photoshop), 일러스터레이터(Adobe Illustrator), 클레리스 오피스(Claris Office)를, CD-ROM은 MM 디렉터(Macromedia Director)를 웹용 홈페이지는 html 에디터(editor)를 주된 소프트웨어로 사용하였다. OHP파일은 스케닝, 그림, 배경, 문자의 입력, 그림의 수식, PICT 또는 PSD 파일로의 저장, JPG 파일로의 변환 등의 순서로 진행되었다. 공통과학 14점, 생물I 80점, 생물II 142점, 총 236점이 제작되었으며 이들의 전달매체로써 CD-ROM 및 웹 홈페이지를 제작하여 이들을 이미 공개된 중학생물과 동일한 주소 즉 http://gic.kyungpook.ac.kr/biocosmos에 공개하였다.

경기지역 노인의 건강과 식생활관리 II - 75세 미만의 젊은 노인과 75세 이상 고령 노인 비교 - (The Elderly Health and Dietary Management in Gyeonggi Province II - Comparison with Younger Old and Older Old -)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the information of the aged olds for which basic data are almost no available. The subjects were divided on the base of age 75. The elderly under 75 were named 'the young olds' and over 75 were 'the aged olds'. The aim of this research is to promote health and to improve nutrition, and the survey was made for health promotion behaviors, habits against health risk, dietary management status and diet intake. And it was conducted by 24 hr-recall method and analyzed by nutrients intake. 242 subjects were collected in 12 cities or counties in Gyeonggi Province and 20 elderly people (10 male and 10 female) were selected out of 1 village in each district. Questionnaire about health behavior and dietary management was carried out by interview method through regional home extension workers. Statistical analyses were made by SAS (version 8.1) and Chi-square tests and General Linear Models were used. Out of the subjects the aged olds over 75 was 31.9%, elementary school educated (93.5%), with spouse (40.3%), with adult children(28.6%), monthly living cost of 500-1,000 thousand won(40.3%). Mean age was 78.82 years compared with 69.75 years of the young olds. 46.8% of the aged olds used monthly pocket money over 1000 won and it was lower than 63.3% of the young olds. Only half of the aged olds had regular exercise of walking (77.8%) or with athletic equipment (17.8%). However, the young olds did more frequent walking (82.1 %) and less exercise with athletic equipment (4.8 %), which was significantly different. Kinds of disease were different with the young or the aged olds, as more proportion of cardiovascular disease(37.9%) for the young olds and joint lumbago neuralgia(41.6%) for the aged olds. Dietary management was good (3 meals per day: 93.4%, fixed mealtime: 72.4%, and regular amount: 79.9%). But there was significant difference in side dish varieties and kinds of snacks; for the aged olds only 8% had over 5 sorts (compared with 18.8% of the young olds) and the kinds of snacks were cookie, candy, juice, carbonated beverage for the aged olds (compared with noodle, milk, soybean-milk for young olds). The ratio of nutrients intake (energy, riboflavin and niacin) with RDA was significantly higher for the aged olds than that of the young olds. The surveyed subjects had no difficulties in Activities of Daily Living (ADL), but some of the aged olds had difficulties in Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) like housekeeping, using transportation, going shopping and making phone calls. These results suggest that low quality of life is linked with low economic status of the rural elderly and congregate meal at village hall would be required because of the lack of side dishes variety for the aged olds. And nutrition education program about good snacks and exercise practice would be needed for the aged olds. By operating nutrition education program the aged olds would enjoy better quality life maintaining or ameliorating IADL abilities.

청소년의 가족식사와 혼밥 비교분석: 청소년의 시간활용과 가족특성을 중심으로 (Analyzing adolescent family meal vs. alone meal: Focusing on adolescent time use and family characteristics)

  • Objectives: This study aim to determine adolescent meal time, which provides the important context of parent-child sharing time. We divided mealtime into family meal and alone meal, and analyzed the time/space context of each meal time as well as the social determinations. Method: We employed adolescents age 10-18 who live with married patents and attends school at the present (n=5,128) from the original data of Korean Time Use Survey. Results: More adolescent were engaged in family meal rather than eating alone in daily bases. However, the trend show difference by day of week and academic grade; family meal are more prevalent in weekends rather than weekdays. As adolescent reaches high school age, the proportion of eating alone beats the proportion of family meal time. Most of the meal occur at home. Having meal outside was relatively scares, especially on weekdays. Tobit and logistic analysis reveal that, on weekday meal, less school hours, more time spent at the private academy, having family leisure event, and long mother's housework hours were positively associated with family meal time. In weekend model, father's education gradient was associated with family meal time, showing higher the father's education level, there were higher chance of having weekend family meal. As for the eating alone, relevant factors were similar with family meal but the directions were the opposite; having family leisure were negatively associated with alone meal, both weekdays and weekend. Long academy hours, meal preparing and leisure alone were positively associated eating alone. Overall, weekday meal time was strongly linked with adolescent daily schedules and time use, while for weekends meal, in both family meal and alone meal, the influence of parent factors were discovered. Conclusion: The results indicates that alone meal and the family meal are not exclusively related but seem to be complementary. Families tend to enjoy family meal yet, there are some necessary situation that adolescent need to be on their own. Increase in ready-made food industries, growing independence of children by age seem partly allow adolescent children to eat alone. Careful attentions may require for monitoring weekends meal situation and the family factor of adolescent in future studies.

중등 생물교과 심화과정 학습용 웹 기반 학습 프로그램 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of Web-based Instruction Program for the Enriched Course of School Biology)

  • 본 연구에서는 제7차 교육과정의 중등 과학 생물영역 심화학습을 위한 웹 기반 학습 프로그램을 개발하였으며, 중학교 3학년을 대상으로 적용한 결과를 분석하였다. 중학교 전학년 및 고등학교 1학년 생물영역 심화과정의 5개 주제를 선정하여 의문형으로 제시했으며, 각 주제별로 4개의 하위 학습단원 '활동'을 설정. 총 20개의 '활동'을 개발하였다. 먼저 2개의 하위활동은 기본 및 심화과정 학습내용을 설명하고, 3번째 하위활동은 가상실험을, 4번째 하위활동은 평가 및 정리 문제를 제시하는 방향에서 설계하였다. 이외에 풍부한 자료와 보충 설명을 위하여 용어 사전을 4개 하위활동에 삽입하였다. 각 활동은 하이퍼링트시켜 서로 상호 연결되도록 하였으며, 학습자가 직접실험을 설계 수행하고 결과를 확인할 수 있도록 가상실험을 설계하였다. 개발된 웹 기반 학습 프로그램의 효과를 분석하기 위하여, 중학교 3학년 247명의 학생들을 대상으로 프로그램을 적용하고 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 대부분의 학생들은 가정에서 인터넷을 사용할 수 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 과제학습을 수행하기보다는 e-mail이나 정보 검색을 목적으로 인터넷을 활용하는 것으로 조사되었다. 프로그램을 학습한 67명의 학생들은 프로그램을 학습하지 않은 학생들에 비해 '생식과 발생'단원의 학습성취도에서 유의미하게 높은 점수를 얻었다. 또한, 학생들은 웹 기반 학습 프로그램의 가상실험과 애니메이션 효과를 선호하였으며, 프로그램이 다른 웹 기반 프로그램에 비해 우수하다고 평가하였다. 반면, 웹 기반 학습 프로그램을 학습하지 않은 학생들은 다론 웹 기반학습 프로그램에 관심이 없으며, 과학에도 흥미가 없다고 응답하였다. 최근 학생들이 가정과 학교에서 인터넷을 활용할 수 있는 여건은 조성되었으나, 학생들의 흥미와 학습효과를 신장시킬 수 있는 웹 기반 프로그램의 개발 보급은 미비한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 결론적으로 가상실험, 애니메이션, 다양한 학습자료를 제공할 수 있는 인터넷의 환경을 효율적으로 활용하여, 학생들의 과학에 대한 흥미와 학업 성취도를 높이는 과학분야의 웹 기반 학습프로그램을 개발하는 일이 시급한 것으로 밝혀졌다.

유료 노인 낮보호 시설 모형개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fee-Based Model Development of Day Care Centers for the Elderly)

  • The aim of this study is the development of a fee - based model day care center for the elderly by inquiring into the current condition of facilities in America and in Korea, and in surveying the opinion of domestic elderly about day care facilities. A field trip to U.S. day care services was held between July 5 and July 15 in 1997, and an on-the-spot study for domestic facilities took place during March in 1998. Our research reveals that the overall supply of day care facilities can not meet future demand in terms of quality and quantity. Therefore a model must be created for day care centers of a that consists of a director from a professional group. an adequate environment, and a standardized in order to offer a qualified public health service linked to the home and community in Korea. The director of a day care center is a critical variable in determining the quality of service. Professional skills related to the needs of the elderly and the person's quality of service should be considered in appointing director for the center. This study belleves that a professional nurse should be the director of a day care center. The operating environment of a day care facility should be made up of considerable space comparable to the number of residents, should be in a comfortable and safe location, and should have equipment that provides a qualified, safe service to the elderly. Our model is designed for 20 persons and allocates 4 Peng per person. This model is comprised of a reading room. a craft room, a health room, a room for physical therapy, a dining room, a staff office, and a multi -purpose room connected to other rooms. Day care service should be a comprehensive service program meeting the multidimensional needs of the elderly. A comprehensive service program needs a team of various professionals made up of the elderly family, participants, nurses, social workers, physical therapists, nutritionists, and medical doctors. The program will also include health care service, physical therapy, speech therapy. diet, occupational therapy, transportation service, health and an education program, etc. In conclusion, a model of a day care center is developed with the following components: a professional director and an environment and program, that considers the physical, mental, and social characteristics of the elderly. A model should also motivate self-reliance self-fulfillment in the elderly in order to fulfill their health needs and to prevent isolation from society and mental depression. Furthermore, This facility will be a beneficial factor in reducing a family's burden on caring for the elderly that includes unnecessary hospital expenses. The following is a suggestion based on results this study: A service program should be developed to fit the conditions of the elderly in Korea by specifically analyzing the needs of the elderly.

진정성이 전기에너지 절약 행동의도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Authenticity on Electrical Energy Saving Behavioral Intention)

  • Purpose - Electrical energy saving is one of the practical virtues relating to sustainable living. Therefore, policy-makers has tried to find a way to change the behaviors of individuals to encourage them to actively practice electrical energy saving, even if they have never had this concern or have only passively practiced electrical energy saving to this point. Prior research related to electrical energy saving can be categorized into several types. The first is focused on consumer characteristics linked to electrical energy saving. These studies are based on individual or household socio-demographic variables (e.g., age, gender, household income, education level, occupants, marital status, number of households), and psycho-graphics (e.g., environmental consciousness, value, attitude, motivation, lifestyle). The second is focused on policies (e.g., monetary incentives, information sharing, social comparison, feedback), and technologies (e.g., energy-efficiency home appliances, energy-reduced products, renewable resources). People generally have a favorable attitude towards electrical energy saving, while electrical energy saving practices tend to be less favorable. Therefore, it is necessary for policy-makers to seek out gaps between attitudes and behaviors and find alternatives to reduce these gaps. This study investigates the influence of authenticity on the behavioral intention of electrical energy saving. It is supposed that electrical energy saving practices are likely to be stronger as authenticity of individual or household becomes stronger. This study reviews prior literature and examines various studies to provide an understanding of the relationships between authenticity and electrical energy saving behavioral intention. Research design, data, and methodology - Hypothesis was drawn from analysis based on previous research. The items related to authenticity and electrical energy saving were selected from items found in previous research. To verify this hypothesis, data were collected via experimental survey method and the resulting data were analyzed using reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. Results - This study found that authenticity had a positive impact on the behavioral intention of electrical energy saving. The higher the perceived degree of authenticity, the higher the behavioral intention of electrical energy saving. Conclusions - This study assesses the impact of authenticity on the behavioral intention of electrical energy saving. In order to enhance the practice of electrical energy saving, it is efficient strategy for policy-maker to improve the perceived authenticity of individuals.
