The purpose of this paper is to explore ways to prepare for the high school credit system in the home economics educational community through the case of high school credit system research school operation. To this end, the operation process of H high school in Gangwon-do, which operated a high school credit system in 2019, was monitored for 5 months, and surveys and interviews were conducted with students, parents, and teachers to determine the operation of the curriculum. Suggestions based on the case of H high school's operation of the high school credit system for home economics educational community are as follows. Home economics teachers should make active efforts to provide attractive and meaningful home economics lessons to their students by improving instruction and assessment, and implementing a variety of elective courses within the subject of home economics, including collaborative online curricula. Home economics teacher communities and related associations should build a solid network that connects local home economics subject research groups, share information related to curriculum operation, and use it as a channel for disseminating class research results. Home economics teacher training institutions should innovate the curriculum to help prospective teachers develop the ability to guide multiple classes in line with the changing teacher training policy, and develop and provide high-quality online and offline programs for field teacher re-education.

When income reach a certain level and their basic needs are met, happiness index do not reach even though income increase. This phenomenon was described as a paradox of Esterlin. In Korea, per capita income is over $20,000, but life quality is not high enough and according to United Nation's happiness report, Korea's happiness index is 5.8 out of 10 which ranked $56^{th}$ out of 150 countries. At this point, the purposes of this study are first: Can capabilities of feeling happiness be strengthened through education? second: Is Home Economics curriculum in Technology and Home Economics the most robust course to enhance the capabilities of feeling happiness? In this study, qualitative research methods(theoretical research and, in-depth interviews) was in progress. Conclusion of this study are as follows. Capabilities of feeling happiness can be enhanced through training. As a nation and the economy with level of per capita GNP over $20,000, in order to realize a desirable human character, capabilities of feeling happiness can be trained and strengthened through education. In particular, it is necessary to strengthen the capability of feeling happiness through life experience. Since Home Economics Curriculum educates to enhance their life practice, it is the most robust course in feeling happiness training to enhance their capabilities.

The purpose of this study is to develop a 'Healthy Couple Relationship' curriculum(plan) for high school home economics based on backward design. In this study, the content elements of 'Healthy Couple Relationship' were extracted through literature analysis, and the need for contents of 'Healthy Couple Relationship' was surveyed in 197 families of home economics teachers and 154 high school students. Based on this, the 'Healthy Couple Relationship' curriculum(plan) of high school home economics curriculum was developed as the backward design, and it was verified by the expert group. The results are as follows: First, when measured on a 5-point Likert scale, the mean scores of the need for content elements of 'Healthy Couple Relationship' was 4.39 for teachers, and 4.02 for students, respectively. The content elements of 'understanding dating violence' was 4.70 for teachers and 4.19 for students. Second, the developed 'Healthy Couple Relationship' curriculum consists of two templates, one for each unit, including curriculum goals, unit composition and unit goals, 8 learning subjects and content elements, evaluation plans including 24 lesson plans. In this study, it is meaningful to propose a "Healthy Couple Relationship" curriculum as an elective course in high school home economics curriculum in preparation for the high school credit system, and to lay the foundations for opening elective courses.

This study was to propose a basic model of specialization in home economics for vocational high school development in JellaNamdo. The results were summarized as follows. First. based on the changes in economic environment into service industry and national educational policy and local vocational educational Policy, it may be good time to socially discuss special vocational high school in home economics in JellaNamdo in the light of meeting local students' demand. Secondly, considering local students' preference and the conditions of local economy and industry. Thirdly, the system for specialization in home economics of vacational high school may be suggested. The basic model was organized plans of system reformation by stages, a substantial plans, and academic or employment course development. System reformation plans was that the high school-concentrated district should be first selected by area and department and one high school should be selected as special high school in home economics. Then specific method should proceed school name, the measure to recruit students, specific method for reorganizing department. and curriculum. Finally, the annual plan to establish new department and to recruit students should be Prepared. Substantial plans were to actually forward such methods to reorganize system and to enhance the qualify of vocational high school education. the method for making substantial should be studied further It may include: the methods to ensure special teachers, training room, and facilities. the prospect and direction of career development, employment, or initiation, special research, and the application to educational environment. Employment courses were developed SOHO establishment in small capital and special store management. And academic courses was to enter a collage or university in conjunction with major departments.

The purpose of this research is to analyse the composition of theories and practical activities in clothing and textiles in Technologyㆍ Home economics textbooks in the 7th National Curriculum and find out learning requirement of students in the area. For this research, a survey was conducted using questionnaires with 280 high school students living in Daegu and the rate of response was 78.9%. The results of this study are as follows. 1. After analysing the curriculum of Practical Arts subject in elementary school and Technology´ Home Economics subject in secondary school, we could find out that more emphasis is put on practical activities in elementary school and high school. On the other hand, theories are considered more important in middle school. 2. Students have similar preference both for theories and for practical activities as a way of learning in class and show positive responses to practical activities unless they´re giving too much pressure as a part of performance test. 3. According to their learning requirement. several teaching-learning contents in clothing and textiles in Technology Home economics are selected such as materials,. clothes designs, how to set dressed well, how to make a reasonable purchase on clothes, and the process of manufacturing various clothes, etc. Therefore it would be desirable to provide the students with the learning opportunity to the extent where even the students who haven´t chosen the selected-advanced course can take part in class actively.

The scholastic consumer education program in Japan was adopted after world war Ⅱ. And so far, based on home economics class at school, the program has undergone seven times modification with “A course of study(learning coaching guide). Now the main objective with the consumer education program, initiated from ‘purchasing skill’ and ‘information offer’, has been shifted to the direction of stressing the ‘reasonable decision making’ and ‘invocation of consumer recognition’. The concrete operation of the scholastic consumer education program in Japan was managed and operated to the direction of urging the student to think independently and self-motivated and provoking the power of thinking, while utilizing daily works closely to routine life as educational materials and subjects. The investigations on Japanese scholastic consumer education program which have been developing and accumulating concrete instances and know-how's of scholastic consumer education program are considered to be still suggestive, and we may conclude it's necessary for both of Korea and Japan to interchange necessary experiences and ideas on this field with each other.

This study aimed to suggest measures expand career-related elective subjects in the high schools through a case of establishing and utilizing a learning space for hands-on home economics classroom activities. Upon the trend reviews of elective subjects in the high school and literature reviews on the educational outcomes from home economics classrooms, a case of career-related elective subject by establishment of learning space related to home economics was proposed in two high schools in Seoul. The results are as follows: First, the trend in 2020 showed that selecting a home economics course as a career-related subject depends on school situations. The results of the survey at schools show that the utilization rate of hands-on learning space for home economics was high with high preference among students, but schools implicitly guided students to select courses that are related to preparation for university entrance. Second, reductions of class hours and decreased likelihood to offer courses in home economics in general high schools would influence the recruitment of teachers, which may ultimately result in a threat to the subject. However, through career-related activities, students may develop positive perception of the subject of home economics and consequently select the subject. Therefore, it is necessary to open and promote multiple elective courses related to home economics for the survival of subject of home economics.

Recently, the Korean women has been steadily growing in number of wearing slacks , therefore the measurement data on lower part of body for slacks pattern construction have become needed. Thus, in order to obtain the measurement data, 304 of sophomore and junior classes form universities and colleges in Seoul city area were selected on purposed and , set to the object of study. In the course of measurement , thirteen items on lower part of body which is the basis of slacks pattern construction were measured, and then average balue, standard deviation and the mutual correlation were obtained.

The purpose of this study is to develop the educational program of consumer adviser. The educational program proposed in previous study is consisted of the acquisition of 5 require and 2 optional subjects, and field education. For this, based on the role and capacity of consumer adviser we explain in detail the contents of required subjects. And we confirm the necessity and significance of field education. Finally we investigate the confirm the necessity and significance of field education. Finally we investigate the contents of field education and suggest the system and course of desirable field education through case study of several universities.

This study was to develop and to execute the educational program for Home Life Promotion in relation to the living of variety. The education program was developed based on system approach of home economics. The program consisted of 6 sessions ; intensional home management, flexible sex role, communication, parents-children relationship, home resource management, living plan. After a primary education, 109 of adults was educated on secondary step by the program. This program can be used not only for adults in lifelong education but also in home economics course. The main contribution of this study is that family members can increase life welfare through practicing this educational program.
