중국, 한국, 인도, 아라비아 등 동양 수학에서는 수학 내용을 구결, 즉 내용을 입으로 전하기 위해 싯구의 형식을 빌려 표현한 경우가 종종 있다. 본 연구에서는 우선 동양 수학책에서 발견되는 구체적인 구결 및 그것이 담고 있는 수학적 지식에 대해 고찰한다. 그리고 구결의 형식을 빌려 수학 지식을 제시한 이유에 대해 추론함으로써 수학 활동에서 구결의 역할에 대해 생각해보고, 나아가 수학교육적 관점에서 절차나 알고리즘 지도와 관련하여 구결을 활용하는 방법에 대해 제안한다.

"Aheuichaulyo御醫撮要" was known to be published by Choi Jong-jun崔宗峻 in Korea高麗 Dynasty(A.D.1226), however its original copy is not available at the present. It was thought that Korean folk medicine and the remedies were recorded in this book, and these were recorded in "Euibangyoochui醫方類聚" published in Chosun朝鮮 dynasty(1445). "Euibangyoochui" is called a treasure-house of the knowledge of traditional oriental medicine which contains over 50,000 prescriptions and enormous amount of medical information. The restoration of "Aheuichaulyo" was possible during the process of establishment of data base work of "Euibangyoochui". "Aheuichaulyo" was restored as 132 chapters mainly from the related con tents of "Euibangyoochui" and partially from the contents of "Hyangyakjipsungbang鄕藥集成方" and "Boonmoononyukyihaebang分門瘟疫易解方" for the supplement.

As a result of analyzing HyangYakJ ipSeongBang, by focusing on folk medicinal plants, the writer has christened the phrase 'Folk Medical Study' because the medical system of HyangYakJ ipSeongBang was quite different from the usual Korean Medicine or Eastern Medicine. Folk Medicine Study is medical study that emphasizes accessibility of drugs and facility of treatment. Folk Medicine Study is medical study that contains only contents that have been time-tested in our country. Folk Medicine Study is medical study that compiled all herbal knowledge and expertise of prescription of the herbal medicine produced on our land.

We can easily see the 'cycloid slide' in the many mathematics and science museums. The educational materials, however, do not give us any mathematical principle. For this reason, we, in this thesis, first study the brachistochrone problem in the history of mathematics, and suggest a method of how to teach the principle using 'the dynamic geometry software GSP5' in order to help students understand the idea that the cycloid is the brachistochrone. Secondly, we examine the origin of the calculus of variations and apply it to prove the brachistochrone problem in order to build up the teachers' background knowledge. This allows us to increase the worth of history of mathematics and recognize how useful the learning is which uses technological tools or materials, and we can expect that the learning which makes use of cycloid slide will be meaningful.

The Palaces of Chosen dynasty in Seoul had lost its original features. The external appearance of the buildings that remains in palace nowadays, have got former conditions, but its enteriors are reconstructed or removed So we have a little knowledge of interiors of palace buildings, expecially of the door and window system. To clear up ambiguity of what kinds of door are selected, and sorts of using methods are prevailed, we must persuit from the latest building to the older building, and compare with documents. For that purpose the Chukchodang of Toksu palace is selected, which reconstructed in 1904, and compared with the document published in 1906. The consequence of investigation is that the palace buildings were adopted double or triple window system, and the main room have buffer zones, such as corridors or small rooms. And the main rooms were facing with wall paper, so metal fittings are hidden and wooden surfaces are hardly expose for the purpose of amenity.

본 연구에서는 의미망 이론을 웹 코스웨어에 적용하기 위한 효과적인 코스웨어 설계 모델을 구안하고 웹에서 운영할 수 있는 국사과 웹 코스웨어를 구현하였다. 웹 코스웨어의 설계 모델은 구성주의 학습모델 중에서 인지적 융통성 모델을 응용하였고 의미망을 활용한 하이퍼텍스트기법을 적용하여 내용 주제간 관계의 유형을 정의하였다. 이를 바탕으로 내용 지식의 지도를 개발하였으며 국사과 지식 데이터베이스를 구축하는 방안을 제시하고 구현하였다.

Seamus Heaney, a famous Irish poet after Yeats, has written some pastoral lyrics from his experiences of farm life and childhood memories. These poems, in spite of his simple overt praise of a rustic farm life, have layers of meaning with their vast allusiveness and implications. He is an extremely literary writer dealing with history from the Celtic myth and a long English literary history. Though his style reminds that of a Victorian poet through his allusions of nature, he is a modern poet of innovative skills and senses. The explication of his representative sonnet sequence, the "Glanmore Sonnets" will reveal exquisite, complicated poetics of a modern poet. The poems are basically love poems, and the love is directed to his beloved wife, his lifetime companion. The poems relate the cultivation of a land to the poet's excavating language from the classics and to the images of love making. Through a careful reading of the sonnets this article will broaden our knowledge on how a modern love lyric of layered meanings can retain the past tradition in its complicated poetics.

In India, astronomy has been studied from the beginning of civilization. The word amateur means involvement in work for pleasure rather than as a profesion. So, amateur astronomers, in many places, prefer to be called non-professional astronomers. In India, the history of amateur astronomy is quite bright. From the Puranic age astronomy was studied for peoples' daily life. In Ramayana, Mahabharata, there is a lot of evidence of astronomical knowledge. Veda is the main source for studying the history of Indian astronomy. Today astronomy education, consciousness of astronomy education, sky observation, etc. are dependent on non-professional astronomers. Vigyan Prasar, an Indian Govt. organization, is trying to popularize astronomy throughout the country.

The chairs are one of the most important furniture in this modern society, as we know that history of furniture is made of history of the chairs. Among the chairs, the stool, which made by only sit and legs, forms the basis of the chairs. The stool plays an important part in the human body to support and also help to make an agile movement In a short period of time. The stool is the minimum unit of chair, which made of least size and simple structure; therefore it fits to study basic knowledge of furniture making. For that reason, we can see occasionally the schools of furniture design departments have chosen the stool making course in their foundation students' studio classes. However, the professional study on the stool, such as the study on the posture for designing stool, has not been developed yet. This study presents basic Information of design for stool by analyzing various stools formatively.
