The purpose of this study was the improvement of satisfaction for school foodservice customers through analysis of the importance and performance of school foodservice quality and the understanding what factors affected customer's loyalty. The questionnaire was distributed to three hundred students at five high schools in Busan. Students evaluated the factors of importance and performance, the order of importance was sanitation> food> service and then, the order of performance was sanitation> service> food. Gap analysis resulted 4.39 for importance factors and 2.51 for performance factors; importance scores were higher than performance scores at all areas (p<0.01) and the sanitation factor gap was the biggest gap compared to all others. Each factor's analysis resulted that the gap analysis order was taste> balance of main & sub side dish> diversity of food in food area, quick react to customer complaint> reflection of customer proposal and recommendation> provide better service than competitor in service area, sanitation of food> cleanness of tableware> cleanness of container in sanitation area. The average score of customer's loyalty was 1.66 and female' score was significantly higher than male (p<0.001). Food, service and sanitation had a significant correlation to customer's loyalty than service (p<0.01), food (p<0.05), and sanitation (p<0.05) affected customer's loyalty significantly. So, intensive control is needed in the sanitation area which had the highest gap analysis result between importance and performance in food service. Especially, service factor was very important in explaining customer's loyalty, so service improvement through training is needed to improve student's satisfaction.
This study was examined fire risk properties of wood specimen for the constructional interiors, especially focusing on the fire performance index (FPI) and the fire growth index (FGI) as heat hazard characteristics. Flame retardants were synthesized using boric acid, boronic acid and tetraethoxyorthosilicate. Heat release characteristics were measured by using a cone calorimeter (ISO 5660-1) and cypress was used. The external heat flux as fire intensity was maintained at 50 kW/㎡. The measured fire performance index (FPI) after burning was increased by 1.6 times for boric acid/silicone (BA/Si) sol, each 1.1 times for isobutylboronic acid/silicone (IBBA/Si) sol and phenylboronic acid/silicone (PBA/Si) sol compared with cypress. Fire risk by the fire performance index was increased BA/Si, IBBA/Si ≈ PBA/Si order. The fire growth index was decreased 94% for the BA/Si and 8% for the IBBA/Si sol, and was increased by 17% for the PBA/Si sol. Fire risk by the fire growth index was increased BA/Si, IBBA/Si, PBA/Si order. Overall fire risk was higher in the order of BA/Si < IBBA/Si < PBA/Si.

In this paper, we propose two hot standby architectures which not only provide high system availability but also lose little data on fault occurrence. In order to evaluate the performance of the proposed hot standby architectures, the warm standby architecture. In order to evaluate the performance of the propose d hot standby architectures, the warm standby architecture which is made from the hot standby architecture by eliminating its synchronization unit is considered. After system unavailability for each architecture is computed by using the corresponding Markov state diagram, the results are compared and evaluated. As the results, in most cases, hot standby architectures have higher availability than warm standby architecture. Also, hot standby architecture with external synchronization unit always maintains a little higher availability than hot standby architecture with internal synchronization unit. Active set time and personnel recovery rate for each architecture have little effect on system availability. However, in the case that data recovery time is too long, system availabilities of hot standby architectures and warm standby architecture degrade rapidly. In this case, the performance degradation of hot standby architectures is severe, and system availabilities of hot standby architectures eventually become lower than system availability of warm standby architecture.

The purpose of this study was to make a further analysis on potential correlations of male spouses' role performance (daily life assistance, sexual life satisfaction and marital conflict) and their marital stability in international marriage. In order to meet the purpose, this study used a questionnaire form to survey Korean men who married and kept a marital relationship with foreign brides (survey dating from Dec. 12, 2010 to May. 3. 2011). Out of total 300 sheets of questionnaire form distributed to a population of those men, 247 sheets of questionnaire form were collected from them. Then, total 220 sheets of complete and valid questionnaire form except incomplete 27 sheets were finally selected for statistical data analysis. Major findings of this study can be summed up as follows: First, in terms of role performance, it was found that group with more daily life assistances had higher marital stability than group with less daily life assistances. Accordingly, it was found that daily life assistance was correlated with marital satisfaction. Secondly, in terms of role performance, it was found that group with more marital conflicts had higher marital stability than group with less marital conflicts. Based on these findings, it is concluded that male spouses' positive role performance in international marriage has positive effects on marital stability in relationships with their foreign female spouses.

This study was carried out to scrutinize possibility of manufacturing pitch pine (Pinus rigida) glued laminated timber in order to add values of pitch pine trees. Also, it was investigated to improve bending performance of pitch pine glulam. Pitch pine was imported as one of major plantation species in Korean peninsula. Machine stress rated grades of pitch pine lumber mostly ranged between E7 and E9. which grades were more or less inferior to producing high quality glulam. However, the adhesive properties between pitch pine and pitch pine, and between pitch pine and Japanese larch (Larix kaempferi Carr.), such as shear bond strength, wood failure rate and de-lamination rate of bonded layer submerged in cold and boiling water, were higher than Korean Standard criteria. These properties are essential for manufacturing glulam with single species or multiple species. The modulus of rupture (MOR) of pitch pine glulam exceeded the criterion of Korean Standard for glulam strength grade but modulus of elasticity (MOE) was lower than the criterion. On the other hand, the bending performances (MOR and MOE) were improved 20 percent by mixing with Japanese larch laminar. It is effective to arrange higher quality Japanese larch laminar at the outer layer of glulam for improving bending performances. In conclusion, it is possible to use low quality pitch pine as laminar of structural glulam for adding values of pitch pine.

Geothermal heat pump (GHP) systems have become an efficient alternative to conventional cooling and heating methods due to their higher energy using efficiency. These systems use the ground as a heat source in heating mode operation and a heat sink in cooling mode operation. The aim of this study is to evaluate the heating performance of the GHP system for a residential building ($420m^2$) in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. In order to demonstrate the feasibility of a sustainable performance of this system, we installed the water-to-water geothermal heat pump with ten vertical ground heat exchangers and measured operation parameters from October 19, 2013 to March 26, 2014. The results showed that the entering source temperature of brine from the ground heat exchangers was in a range of the design target temperature of $-10^{\circ}C$ for heating. For total values of the representative results, the ground heat exchangers extracted heat of 53.51 MWh from the ground. In addition, the GHP system supplied heat of 83.55 MWh to the building and consumed power of 30.27 MWh. Consequently, the average heating seasonal performance factor ($SPF_h$) of the overall system was evaluated to be 2.76 during the measurement period of the heating season.

This study identified cognitive styles of online searchers in terms of Field Dependence (FD) and Field Independence (FI) dimension and determined whether searching performance was affected by FD / FI cognitive differences between online searchers and the extent to which searching performance was affected by the FD / FI dimension of cognitive style. This study used a quasi experimental design with 41 student subjects using the Lockheed DIALOG system and ERIC ONT AP database. Cognitive styles of student subjects were measured by using GEFT (Group Embedded Figure Test) and the subjects were divided into two cognitive groups- FD and FI based on the GEFT scores. Each subject was assigned two predetermined searches which had different search goals-a 'high precision search' and a 'high recall search.' Search performance of the two cognitive groups on the two problems was compared in order to see how these two groups responded to achieving different search goals in terms of search strategy, search inputs, and resulting search outputs. The major findings of this study were: 1. The pattern of approaching a search problem regardless of whether it was a high precision search or a high recall search was not significantly different between the two cognitive groups. 2. The FI group tended to use significantly more terms for the high recall search than the FD group but slightly less time than the FD group. However, significant differences in connect time between the two groups were not revealed. 3. For both search problems the FI group achieved a significantly higher success rate than the FD group. The FI group were significantly more successful searchers than the FD group. As for unit / cost, although the FI group were more cost effective than those of the FD group for both searches, these differences were too small to be statistically significant. 4. Mean differences of the search performance variables between the FD / FI groups were consistent across the two types of search questions. The FI group seemed to be equally effective for both types of search questions. In conclusion, the differences found in number of terms used and success rate between the two cognitive groups apparently resulted from different cognitive styles.

Recently, as the interest rate and necessity for security is growing, the demands for a visitor recognition system are being increased. In order to recognize a visitor in visitor recognition systems, the various biometric methods are used. In this paper, we propose a visitor recognition system based on face recognition. The visitor recognition system improves the face recognition performance by integrating several open APIs as a single algorithm and by performing the ensemble of the recognition results. For the performance evaluation, we collected the face data for about five months and measured the performance of the visitor recognition system. As the results of the performance measurement, the visitor recognition system shows a higher face recognition rate than using a single face recognition API, meeting the requirements on performance.
