This study is to examine the effects of business management competency, organizational management competency, relationship formation competency, marketing competency, and entrepreneurship, which are perceived by organizational members of social enterprise, on organizational performance, economic performance and social performance. The results of this study are as follows. First, the business management competency of the executives influencing the economic performance, which is the organization performance of the hypothetical social enterprise, was adopted. In other words, the organizational management competency (H1-1), the relationship formation competency (H1-2), the marketing competency (H1-3), and the entrepreneurship (H1-4), which are executive business management competency, have a positive effect on the organizational performance of the social enterprise respectively. Second, Hypothesis 2 indicates that the business management competency of social enterprise executives has a positive effect on organizational performance, social performance, and Hypothesis 2 has been adopted. In other words, the business management competency of the management on the social performance of the social enterprise is in the order of relationship forming competency (H2-2), marketing competency (H2-3), organizationalmanagement competency (H2-1), entrepreneurship (H2-4) Showed high influence. The higher the relationship formation competency, marketing competency, organizational competency, and entrepreneurship, which are the business management competency of the social enterprise management, the economic social performance of the social enterprise is more improved.
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between emotional intelligence and job performance. Also, the study explore the effects of self-efficacy as a mediating variable and person-supervisor fit as a moderating variable on the mentioned relationships. In order to verify the assumptions related to this research, a survey of 173 sales representatives working in various organizations was conducted. Survey results supported the assumption that higher emotional intelligence resulted in higher job performance. And another assumption that job performance could be predicted more precisely through mediating effect of self-efficacy. Finally, results revealed that the relationships between emotional intelligence and self-efficacy became stronger when the scores of person-supervisor fit were higher. Theoretical and practical implication were reviewed and limitations of the study and suggestions for future research were discussed.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the gap in perceived importance-performance between dietitians and parents regarding school foodservice sanitation practices, to establish a plan for improving the school foodservice monitoring that is conducted by parents. A survey was given using questionnaires and was distributed to 31 school foodservice dietitians and to parents who attended sanitation education in October 2006. All statistical analyses were conducted using the SAS package program(version 8.2 for Windows) for descriptive analysis, t-test, and importance-performance analysis(IPA). The results of the IPA showed the following areas as improvement priorities: (1) contracting with a reliable suppliers, (2) securing proper refrigerator and freezer capacity and checking temperatures, (3) adequate design and construction of foodservice facilities and equipment, and (4) ensuring trays and utensils are clean, dry, and stored in a way that prevents contamination. The results of the IPA illustrated that school foodservice dietitians performed well in 8 out of the 21 sanitation management items. The perceived importance by parents was higher than by dietitians for accurate record keeping and documentation of HACCP worksheets(p<0.01), appropriate cleaning plans and practices(p<0.05), garbage management of inner kitchens (p<0.05), and garbage management of external kitchens(p<0.05). On the other hands, the perceived importance by dietitians was higher than that of parents for contracting with a reliable suppliers(p<0.05) and adequate design and construction of foodservice facilities and equipment(p<0.01). According to the performance analysis there were significant differences between dietitians and parents in six out of the twenty-one items. For these six items, the evaluated degree of performance by parents was higher than that of dietitians. In conclusion, proper education programs should be planned and regularly performed for the student's patents who take part in school foodservice monitoring in order to improve on their monitoring.

In order to deal with severe competition in the construction market of developing countries, large contractors must continually improve their own performance and operation. Performance measurement is the heart of ceaseless improvement in organizations. Key performance indicators (KPIs) play a key role in measuring project management performance (PMP) of large contractors in developing countries. The main objective of this paper is to identify KPIs, which can be used to measure PMP of contractors, and then analyze the underlying relationships of these KPIs in order to gain insight into PMP of large construction firms in Vietnam construction industry (VCI). Literature reviews and the pilot survey provided 30 KPIs. Fourteen KPIs, which have the mean values higher than 3.0, were considered as important KPIs through a questionnaire survey of 32 professionals. Factor analysis of these KPIs was employed to categorize them. The results of the survey revealed that top six KPIs are construction time and cost, owner satisfaction on services and products, and quality management and project team performance. Factor analysis uncovered that 14 top-ranked KPIs can be grouped under six categories, namely: (1) construction input management, (2) owner satisfaction, (3) cost and quality, (4) manpower management, (5) subcontractor performance and (6) equipment management. The findings of this research can be used as a guideline to measure PMP of contractors in Vietnam as well as in other developing countries. Since contractors from a country to the other country may have the same manner to manage construction projects, the results of this study may be useful not only to practitioners and researchers in Vietnam but also to participants in other developing countries.

In the cardiopulmonary support system with an ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation), a higher pump head is demanded for a blood pump. In order to realize a blood pump with higher pump head, higher anti-hemolysis and thrombosis performances, a study on the development of unprecedented multistage blood pump was conducted. In consideration of the application of the blood pump for pediatric patients, a miniature two-stage centrifugal blood pump with the impeller's diameter of 40mm was designed and the performance was examined in experiments and computations. Some useful knowledge for a design of the blood pump with higher anti-hemolysis and thrombosis performances was obtained.

In order to reduce the possibilities of personnel injuries and damages to machines and to obtaim higher efficiency and machining accuracy in the manufacturing system, the chucking technology has recentry become important. The chucking technology of work greatly affects both the grometrical accuracy and fonctional performance of the workpiece. In this study, the dynamic gripping force of a 3-jaw power chuck is investigated on the factors of the shape of jaw and the shape of workpiece. From this investigation, the following observations are obtained. 1) The higher stiffness of workpiece is, the higher decrease of dynamic gripping force is. 2) The nearer to the root of jaw is, the higher decrease of dynamic gripping force is. 3) The centrifugal force of affectting the decrease of dynamic gripping force has to be considered in the centrifugal force of affecting jaw.
This study aims to present basic directions and implications of the organizational culture and job performance by analysis of the causal path between the variables acknowledging the important role of the organizational satisfaction on the assumption that the organizational culture which is developed for improvement of the revenue officer's job performance by the taxation organization. In the results of analysis, the clan culture, hierarchy culture and market culture except the culture of innovation have positive effects on the organizational satisfaction, and the higher the organizational satisfaction, the higher efficiency of the performance of the tax administration affairs become, so the job performance becomes increase. This can be the results that the characteristics of the tax organizational culture which conducts the taxation administration affairs by the clan culture which is hierarchical and emphasizes the business performance through teamwork, and the market culture which emphasizes the results reflect the job performance. Therefore, the organizational culture that develops sense of ownership and being performed autonomously and responsibly should be created in order to increase the competitiveness in the organizations and to increase the job performance efficiently by the members of the organization to have worthwhile feeling.
Purpose - This study investigates the relationship between firm-specific, general human capital and corporate innovation performance. Also, we examine when this relationship is more salient. Design/methodology/approach - We collected 1,195 survey data related to a sample of corporate innovation performance and human capital from 1) Korea Research for Vocational Education and Training and 2) NICE information service in Korea. In order to examine the corporate innovation performance, we use the ordered logit model. Findings - First, we find robust supports for our hypothesis that firm-specific and general human capital increase corporate innovation performance. Second, the effect of general human capital on corporate innovation performance is stronger when this relationship is combined with the firm international experience. Research implications or Originality - By integrating the human capital theory and corporate innovation literature, we propose that firm-specific and general human capital are the important determinant of innovation performance. The firm-specific human capital may increase innovation efficiencies. Also, retaining higher-quality general human capital is considered as an important innovation strategy since firms with higher-quality general human capital make greater innovation performance. Further, we show that the firm international experience is the crucial boundary condition. As a firm's experience in internationalization increases, firms can enhance the opportunities to develop new products by combining the skills and knowledge derived from general human capital with the experience gained through internationalization.
Objectives: This study was conducted to identify the correlation between belief in hand hygiene, activities and related hand hygiene performance rates among dental staff. Methods: This study was based on the evaluation of 329 dental practitioners, including dental hygienists who work at dental clinics, dental hospitals, general and university dental hospitals in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do Province, and Incheon. The questionnaire consisted of a total of 46 questions, including 7 questions on general characteristics, and 25 questions on hand hygiene beliefs, and 5 questions on hand hygiene activities, and 9 questions on hand hygiene practices. This study used 291 subjects for the final analysis, excluding subjects who had provided incomplete or inappropriate responses to the questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using an independent t-test, ANOVA, $x^2$ test, correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis, where p-values of <0.05 were considered statistically significant. Results: Longer clinical career was associated with a significant increase in behavior and norm beliefs, but no sequential difference in control beliefs. The hand hygiene performance was higher in staff at larger hospitals after contact with pollutants and contaminated environments. Higher age was associated with a significant increase in hand hygiene performance rates, but profession was not statistically significant in the performance rate of hand hygiene. The hand hygiene performance rate was ranked higher among those with average work hours per week of greater than 8 hours followed by those who worked fewer than 8 hours. Fewer work hours per week, a stronger belief in hand hygiene, less frequent exposure to contaminated environments, and a greater number of hand hygiene performance had a positive effect on higher hand hygiene performance rates. Conclusions: In order to increase the hand hygiene performance rate of dental practitioners, it is considered that required time for hand washing should be ensured sufficiently. Proper usage of hand sanitizers should also be promoted efficiently.
Investors are trading stocks by keeping a close watch on the order information submitted by domestic and foreign investors in real time through Limit Order Book information, so-called price current provided by securities firms. Will order information released in the Limit Order Book be useful in stock price prediction? This study analyzes whether it is significant as a predictor of future stock price up or down when order imbalances appear as investors' buying and selling orders are concentrated to one side during intra-day trading time. Using classification algorithms, this study improved the prediction accuracy of the order imbalance information on the short-term price up and down trend, that is the closing price up and down of the day. Day trading strategies are proposed using the predicted price trends of the classification algorithms and the trading performances are analyzed through empirical analysis. The 5-minute KOSPI200 Index Futures data were analyzed for 4,564 days from January 19, 2004 to June 30, 2022. The results of the empirical analysis are as follows. First, order imbalance information has a significant impact on the current stock prices. Second, the order imbalance information observed in the early morning has a significant forecasting power on the price trends from the early morning to the market closing time. Third, the Support Vector Machines algorithm showed the highest prediction accuracy on the day's closing price trends using the order imbalance information at 54.1%. Fourth, the order imbalance information measured at an early time of day had higher prediction accuracy than the order imbalance information measured at a later time of day. Fifth, the trading performances of the day trading strategies using the prediction results of the classification algorithms on the price up and down trends were higher than that of the benchmark trading strategy. Sixth, except for the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm, all investment performances using the classification algorithms showed average higher total profits than that of the benchmark strategy. Seventh, the trading performances using the predictive results of the Logical Regression, Random Forest, Support Vector Machines, and XGBoost algorithms showed higher results than the benchmark strategy in the Sharpe Ratio, which evaluates both profitability and risk. This study has an academic difference from existing studies in that it documented the economic value of the total buy & sell order volume information among the Limit Order Book information. The empirical results of this study are also valuable to the market participants from a trading perspective. In future studies, it is necessary to improve the performance of the trading strategy using more accurate price prediction results by expanding to deep learning models which are actively being studied for predicting stock prices recently.
