The dual aims of this study were i) to explore the effectiveness of an assessment method that can measure the competencies learned through high school home economics and ii) develop a competency-based assessment framework for high school home economics, including components of competency-based assessment, item development system, and other elements. The study involved the following stages: literature analysis, draft development, concretization, validity verification, and final version. Based on the results of the literature analysis and expert deliberation, a competency-based assessment framework for high school home economics was developed which comprised three dimensions: 'core idea' × 'process' × 'context and value'. Based on this, an item analysis table was presented to systematize various activities for the competency-based assessment of high school home economics, following which a holistic rubric suitable for competency assessment tasks was proposed by referring to the newly developed 'process' dimension assessment criteria. This study is significant in that it is the first to propose a competency-based assessment framework that systematically presents a variety of assessment activities. These will facilitate the development of assessment standards and tools that teachers can refer to or trust in the changing school environment due to the introduction of the standard-based assessment system based on a high school credit system, and the guarantee of a minimum achievement level.

Data was analyzed using the complex sample analysis (${\chi}^2$-test, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis). Results: Higher BMI, frequent vegetable consumption, short sleep duration, and higher stress level were associated with an earlier menarcheal age among high school girls. Conclusion: The findings of this study indicate intervention strategies to control the timing of menarche.
Dietitians' satisfaction between elementary school and high school in KangWon Do region were surveys with questionnaires. 61 elementary school dietitians and 30 high school dietitians participated. The dietitians in elementary schools had higher scores in age, marital status, years at work, types of employment, average annual income and had lesser hours of work. In overall, elementary schools had higher percentage on self operation and on the period of their food distribution to students. High schools had higher percentage on conventional systems, freedom in the amount of food distribution, number of meals per day and the meal charge. It was clear that dietitians in high schools showed more interests in changing their careers due to the poor working environment and salary. The highest score was on the relationship with other coworkers and the lowest score was on the poor working environment and salary. In general, dietitians in both types of schools are not satisfied with their career, especially with the working environment and salary.

The 49.8% of the respondent students were male and 50.2% female. The whole students assessed the importance and performance of school foodservice as 4.18 and 2.83 out of 5 respectively, which suggests that the school foodservice needs to be improved. The purpose of this study is that the Van Hiele theory can be applied to even vocational high school students. Through the comparison of Van Hiele level distribution of middle school students and high school students, it is that the aims of this study is to study the geomatric level of vocational high school students and to analize them, even so it can be to find for them the effective method of Geomatric education The subject of study is three kinds of vocational high school - commercial high school, industrial high school, fisheries high school - boys (240), girls (120) in Boryeong city, Chungchong Nam Do. We referred to Kim Mi-cheong′ thesis(1994) and Cheong Yean-sok′s thesis(1992) and compared my result with them. The method and the process of the study were based on the th method of CDASSG project. And we used Van Hiele Level Test as an instrument of measurement. We got the following conclusion as the result of the study 1. The 86% of the subject of the study was applied to the theory of Van Hiele - "Any students can reach level n just through level n-1." Even so the propriety of the theory proved to be from this study again. 2. The 88% of the subject of the study is applicable to below level 2. So if the proof is introduced to them in the class, it was very difficult for them to understand it. 3. The geometric level of vocational high school students is the same as the second grade of middle school. But we think to be desirable that a basic concept puts first in importance through recomposed teaching materials, because 68% of the students is seldom changed at level 1.
