호남고속철도 동적 안정성 요구 조건을 고려한 강합성 거더교의 변수 연구 (Parametric Study on Steel composite Girder bridges for HONAM High-Speed Railway Considering Criteria Requirement of Dynamic Response)

  • 고속철도 교량은 고속주행 열차의 차축 주기하중 효과와 교량 고유의 동적특성에 의한 동적 증폭 효과로 인하여 구조물의 안전성에 영향을 받는다. 그리고 교량의 과도한 변형으로 인하여 차륜과 레일의 접촉력 감소, 궤도틀림 등의 윤중 변동이 일어나 열차의 주행안전성 및 승차감을 저해할 수 있다. 이러한 궤도 안전성을 확보하기 위하여 동적거동에 대한 교량상판수준의 수직가속도 제한, 차륜-레일간의 접촉과 열차주행 안전성 확보를 위한 상판 면틀림 제한, 단부 회전각 변위 제한, 차량하중에 의한 교량의 수직 처짐 제한을 반드시 만족시켜야 하며, 필수적으로 공진에 대한 검토도 이루어져야 한다. 신설되는 호남고속철도에서는 기존의 경부고속철도와 다른 콘크리트 도상을 적용하고, 궤도간격, 설계열차하중 등이 변경되어 적용되므로 새로운 동적안정성 요구조건을 적용하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 콘크리트교량에 비해 진동특성이 취약한 것으로 알려진 강합성 거더 고속철도 교량의 동적거동 분석을 수행하였다.

고속(KTX) 및 기존 철도차량의 열차풍 현상 비교 분석 (The Comparative Analysis of Slipstream Phenomena by High-Speed and Traditional Train)

  • A series of field tests were performed to develop aerodynamic characteristic evaluation method and countermeasure technology in conventional and high-speed railway. The strength of rolling stock-induced wind which affect the people and substructure in platform and nearby track were investigated. The slipstream of passing trains was measured by hot-wire array system. The speed of trains was 110 - 125km/h for conventional ones and 300km/h for high-speed ones. The streamlined shape trains cause about 50% smaller-scale slipstream compared to the non-streamlined ones.

  • Many papers have been conducted on the applications of honeycomb sandwich maintenance, and to improve the high speed and light weight in rolling stocks, aircrafts and so on. The end door of rolling stock is generally made of rolled steel or stainless steel. Thus, the weight of these materials are heavier than of nonferrous metals and thermal deformation by welding or complexity of manufacturing process is occurred. Therefore, this paper is aimed to develop the light weight by application of end door which is made of aluminum honeycomb sandwich panels in rolling stocks and to propose the standards of design and evaluation for its adhesively bonded strength.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate stability of a high speed train and to propose optimal design using sensitivity analysis of suspension design parameters. A form of equations of motion in tangent track and curve track is obtained based on each creep force. Tangent track and curve track equations include lateral, rolling and yawing motions of wheel sets, bogies, and carbodies. Three track cases have been chosen to stability assesment of a high speed train analysis. Sensitivity equations are set up by directly differentiating the equations of motion. This study def'.led Stability performance index of a high speed train in tangent track and curve track. The relative magnitude of the effect of suspension parameters on the critical speed is computed, and by adjusting these parameters, the increase of the critical speed is achieved.

  • A signal equipment improvement project for the existing facility ATS to ATP is under construction in Kyung-Bu and Ho-Nam commercial line including 400 rolling stocks. But there was a concern for the interface between KTX OBCS and ATP from the beginning of the project. At present, this is the front burner event. This paper introduces interface checking and predicted failure point between KTX OBCS and ATP improvement system. Through this measure the optimal installation of the ATP will be possible. The study was made under maintenance efficiency including reliability because the KTX signal equipment must qualify the above condition.

  • Planning and construction of railway for high speed trains up to 400 km/h are recently driven in Korea. High speed train is one of the environment-friendly fastest mass transportation means but its noise generated by rolling, traction and aerodynamic mechanism can cause public complaints of residents nearby railways. To cost-effectively prevent the troublesome noise in a railway planning stage, the rational railway noise prediction method considering the characteristics of trains as well as railway structures should be required but it is difficult to find authentic methods for Korean high speed trains such as KTX and KTX-II. In this study, we propose a framework of our own railway noise prediction model emitted by Korean high speed trains over 250 km/h based on the recent research results carried out in EU countries. The model considers railway sound power level using several point sources distributed in heights as well as tracks, whose detail speed- and frequency-dependent emission characteristics of Korean high speed trains should be determined in near future by measurement or numerical analysis. The attenuation during propagation outdoors is calculated by the well-known ISO 9613-2 and auxiliary methods to consider undulated terrain and wind effect.

  • KTX산천 고속차량에서 사용하는 전력변환시스템은 전력전자기술, 고속 대용량 반도체소자 및 마이크로프로세서의 기술발달에 힘입어 높은 성능과 효율, 안전성, 에너지 소비측면에서 뛰어난 제어능력을 갖추게 되었다. 하지만 고속스위칭소자인 IGBT를 사용함에 따라 발생하는 고조파로 인해 전기차량은 물론 변전소, 신호시스템, 데이터전송 및 감시시스템 등 선로변 신호설비에 문제를 야기시켰다. 특히 전력변환장치의 정수배 부근 주파수에서 발생하는 귀선전류고조파의 영향으로 TI-21 무절연AF궤도회로가 부정 동작하는 사례가 발생되었다. 본 논문은 고속전기차량과 궤도회로간 귀선전류고조파 이동경로 분석을 위하여 실제 현장에서 측정 및 분석방법을 제시하였다. 이러한 분석결과는 향후 신규로 도입되는 고속전기차량, AF궤도회로, 공동접지망 설계 시 폭넓게 반영될 것으로 기대된다.

  • The prototype test train(HSR 350X) was developed and is now being tested in R&D project for developing Korean High Speed Rolling Stock. International cooperative works with German, Japanese, Danish English and Swiss company were done for reviewing the results made by domestic companies and enhancing their design capability. The main results of cooperation are shown in this paper. In addition, some problems and comments issued during cooperation are also represented.

  • The Korean rolling stock safety regulation stipulates that the collision deceleration of a car body should be maintained under average 5g and maximum 7.5g during train collisions. One-dimensional dynamic model of a full rake train, which is made up of nonlinear springs/bars-dampers-masses, is often used to estimate the collision decelerations of car bodies in a basic design stage. By the way, the previous studies have often used some average force-deformation curve for energy absorbing structures in rolling stock. Through this study, we intended to analyse how much the collision deceleration levels are influenced by the initial peak force modeling in the one-dimensional force-deformation curve. The numerical results of the one-dimensional dynamic model for the Korean High-Speed Train show that the initial peak force modeling gives significant effect on the collision deceleration levels. Therefore the peak force modeling of the force-deformation curve should be considered in one-dimensional dynamic model of a full rake train to evaluate the article 16 of the domestic rolling stock safety regulations.

페라이트계 스테인리스강의 열간압연 시 발생하는 Sticking에 미치는 합금원소의 효과 (Effects of Alloying Elements on Sticking Occurring During Hot Rolling of Ferritic Stainless Steels)

  • In this study, effects of alloying elements on the sticking occurring during hot rolling of five kinds of ferritic STS430J1L stainless steels were investigated by analyzing high-temperature hardness and oxidation behavior of the rolled steels. Hot-rolling simulation tests were conducted by a high-temperature wear tester which could simulate actual hot rolling. The simulation test results revealed that the sticking process proceeded with three stages, i.e., nucleation, growth, and saturation. Since the hardness continuously decreased as the test temperature increased, whereas the formation of Fe-Cr oxides in the rolled steel surface region increased, the sticking of five stainless steels was evaluated by considering both the high-temperature hardness and oxidation effects. The addition of Zr, Cu, or Si had a beneficial effect on the sticking resistance, while the Ni addition did not show any difference in the sticking. Particularly in the case of the Si addition, Si oxides formed first in the initial stage of high-temperature oxidation, worked as initiation sites for Fe-Cr oxides, accelerated the formation of Fe-Cr oxides, and thus raised the sticking resistance by about 10 times in comparison with the steel without Si content.
