A new texture segmentation-based image coding technique which performs segmentation based on roughness of textural regions and properties of the human visual system (HVS) is presented. This method solves the problems of a segmentation-based image coding technique with constant segments by proposing a methodology for segmenting an image texturally homogeneous regions with respect to the degree of roughness as perceived by the HVS. The fractal dimension is used to measure the roughness of the textural regions. The segmentation is accomplished by thresholding the fractal dimension so that textural regions are classified into three texture classes; perceived constant intensity, smooth texture, and rough texture. An image coding system with high compression and good image quality is achieved by developing an efficient coding technique for each segment boundary and each texture class. For the boundaries, a binary image representing all the boundaries is created. For regions belonging to perceived constant intensity, only the mean intensity values need to be transmitted. The smooth and rough texture regions are modeled first using polynomial functions, so only the coefficients characterizing the polynomial functions need to be transmitted. The bounda-ries, the means and the polynomial functions are then each encoded using an errorless coding scheme. Good quality reconstructed images are obtained with about 0.08 to 0.3 bit per pixel for three different types of imagery ; a head and shoulder image with little texture variation, a complex image with many edges, and a natural outdoor image with highly textured areas.
A new texture segmentation-based image coding technique which performs segmentation based on roughness of textural regions and properties of the human visual system (HVS) is presented for multime-dia teleconference. We compare the coding efficiency of this technique with that of a well established technique (discrete cosine transform (DCT) image coding).
The spinal cord or CSF surgery is a very complex process. It requires continuous pre and post-surgery evaluation to have a better ability to diagnose the disease. To detect automatically the suspected areas of tumors and symptoms of CSF leakage during the development of the tumor inside of the brain. We propose a new method based on using computer software that generates statistical results through data gathered during surgeries and operations. We performed statistical computation and data collection through the Google Source for the UK National Cancer Database. The purpose of this study is to address the above problems related to the accuracy of missing hybrid KNN values and finding the distance of tumor in terms of brain cancer or CSF images. This research aims to create a framework that can classify the damaged area of cancer or tumors using high-dimensional image segmentation and Laplace transformation method. A high-dimensional image segmentation method is implemented by software modelling techniques with measures the width, percentage, and size of cells within the brain, as well as enhance the efficiency of the hybrid KNN algorithm and Laplace transformation make it deal the non-zero values in terms of missing values form with the using of Frobenius Matrix for deal the space into non-zero values. Our proposed algorithm takes the longest values of KNN (K = 1-100), which is successfully demonstrated in a 4-dimensional modulation method that monitors the lighting field that can be used in the field of light emission. Conclusion: This approach dramatically improves the efficiency of hybrid KNN method and the detection of tumor region using 4-D segmentation method. The simulation results verified the performance of the proposed method is improved by 92% sensitivity of 60% specificity and 70.50% accuracy respectively.
The purpose of this paper is twofold : to identify loyalty applicable to segmentation of theme park users and to find characteristics of the segments. Thetheme park was regarded as a product and Lotte World was regarded as a brand. One hundred thirty five college students were selected by nonprobability sampling for two waves thirty of data collection. Both behavioral and attitudinal dimension of loyalty were measured in the first wave by the proportion of visit of the Lotte World to 3 major theme parks for one year, including the Lotte World, and by calculating the mean score of selected 7 attitudinal items, respectively. After 14 weeks, the same respondents were asked the number of actual visits of the Lotte World. Medians of two dimensions and cluster analyses were utilized to classify the respondents into 4 categories : high, spurious, latent, and low loyalty. Then ANOVA and
Kernel methods have shown to improve the performance of conventional linear classification algorithms for complex distributed data sets, as mapping the data in input space into a higher dimensional feature space(7). In this paper, we propose a fuzzy kernel K-nearest neighbor(fuzzy kernel K-NN) algorithm, which applies the distance measure in feature space based on kernel functions to the fuzzy K-nearest neighbor(fuzzy K-NN) algorithm. In doing so, the proposed algorithm can enhance the Performance of the conventional algorithm, by choosing an appropriate kernel function. Results on several data sets and segmentation results for real images are given to show the validity of our proposed algorithm.
Sharing of online videos via internet is an emerging and important concept in different types of applications like surveillance and video mobile search in different web related applications. So there is need to manage personalized web video retrieval system necessary to explore relevant videos and it helps to peoples who are searching for efficient video relates to specific big data content. To evaluate this process, attributes/features with reduction of dimensionality are computed from videos to explore discriminative aspects of scene in video based on shape, histogram, and texture, annotation of object, co-ordination, color and contour data. Dimensionality reduction is mainly depends on extraction of feature and selection of feature in multi labeled data retrieval from multimedia related data. Many of the researchers are implemented different techniques/approaches to reduce dimensionality based on visual features of video data. But all the techniques have disadvantages and advantages in reduction of dimensionality with advanced features in video retrieval. In this research, we present a Novel Intent based Dimension Reduction Semi-Supervised Learning Approach (NIDRSLA) that examine the reduction of dimensionality with explore exact and fast video retrieval based on different visual features. For dimensionality reduction, NIDRSLA learns the matrix of projection by increasing the dependence between enlarged data and projected space features. Proposed approach also addressed the aforementioned issue (i.e. Segmentation of video with frame selection using low level features and high level features) with efficient object annotation for video representation. Experiments performed on synthetic data set, it demonstrate the efficiency of proposed approach with traditional state-of-the-art video retrieval methodologies.
The esthetic center skips over the dimension of simply theoretical knowledge by the specialization, segmentation, and gentrification and the importance of the technical education which introduced into the spot experienceis raising its head. And the esthetic center's importance which copes with the environment changing actively is being cognized. The franchisee system of esthetic shows that while the domestic market is opened, the appearance of foreign famous brand-centered is increasing rapidly. According to this kind of trend, every kind of mediums will not stop the classified ad of franchisee and it will be recognized as the promising sector. Especially, the situation of franchisee is that franchisors and franchisees in the limited relationship and just plan the growth, so the success possibly can be very high. The diffusion of franchisee system and the study about the franchisee are developed on the diverse view points. But still now, the study is just formed from the enterprise's success and the franchisors view point, the study about the franchisees dimension is very small. But it is also very important to exam the decision factors of franchisees success because the franchisors result of franchisee system will come out with franchisee performance totally. In this paper, it will actually proof if the decisive factors that exert influence on the franchisee performance in the franchisee dimension, exert influence on the franchisee performance in substance; and exam what kind of relationship the franchisee performance have with the franchisors and recontract intention. According to this, we can draw out the rest decision factors of improving the franchisee performance, and also show the strategic implication of franchisee efficient marketing.
The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70
