연안해역의 항행 안전성 평가에 관한 연구 (Assessment of the Navigational Safety Level in the Korean Coastal Waterway)

  • In recent years, the marine traffic congestion has increased due to the expansion of vessel traffic volume in Korean coastal waterway. Heavy traffic could bring serious marine casualties which cause the loss of human lives, properties and marine pollution in coastal area. The prevention of marine accidents has been a major topic in marin society and various policies and countermeasures have been developed, applied to the industries. VTS(Vessel Traffic Services) is considered as one of effective method to promote marine safety but it needs relatively huge amount of budgets to build and also number of personnels for the operation. Thus prior to establishing the VTS. It should be surveyed the marine traffics, general conditions of waterway including geographical, meteorological characteristics and assessed to find the most reasonable area and places for the system. Therefore this paper aims to develop the method for this evaluation through the hierarchical evaluation structure model in connection with ISM(interpretive structural modeling) and AHP(analytic hierarchy process) methods. The model in this paper is applied to 4 coastal area in Korean waterway as candidates and found that the priority for the needs of VTS should be in order such as Yosu, Wando, Mokpo, Geoje coastal area.

교차로 포장 소성변형 저감을 위한 해석적 연구 (An Analytical Study to Reduce Plastic Deformation in Intersection Pavements)

  • PURPOSES : Plastic deformation is frequently made in intersection asphalt pavement at its early age due to deceleration and stoppage of vehicles. This study has been performed to provide a mechanistic basis for reasonable selection of paving method to minimize the plastic deformation at intersection. METHODS : Pavement layer, temperature, traffic volume of the intersections managed by the Daejeon Regional Construction and Management Administration were collected to calculate asphalt dynamic modulus with pavement depth by using a prediction equation suggested by the Korean pavement design guide. Performance of ordinary dense-graded asphalt pavement, polymer modified asphalt pavement, and fiber reinforced asphalt pavement was analyzed by finite element method and the results were used in a performance model to predict the plastic deformation. RESULTS : In aspect of performance, the three paving methods were usable under low traffic while the fiber reinforced asphalt pavement was the most suitable under heavy traffic. CONCLUSIONS : Reasonable paving method suitable for traffic characteristics in the intersection might be decided by considering economic feasibility.

트래픽 편중화에 근거한 다중채널 TDM 프로토콜 (Multi-Channel TDM Protocol based on Traffic Locality)

  • 각 노드에게 타임슬롯을 정적으로 할당하는 TDM 프로토콜은 동작이 간단하고 고부하에서의 처리율이 높다는 잇점 때문에 TDM 프로토콜을 다중채널 고속통신망에 적용하는 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 그러나, 다중채널 TDM 프로토콜에서 저부하에서의 지연시간이 필요이상 크고 트래틱의 편중화에 동적으로 적응하지 못하는 것은 해결되어야 할 문제점이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 완화할 수 있는 새로운 TDM 프레임 구조를 제안한다. 제안된 구조에서 상호 트래픽이 많은 노드를 사이에는 많은 양의 타임슬롯이 할당되며 그렇지 않은 노드들 사이에는 상대적으로 적은 양의 타임슬롯이 할당됨으로써 지연시간과 처리율이 개선된다. TDM 프레임 설계시 고려해야 할 사항을 처리율 최적화와 저부하에서의 지연시간 최적화 관점에서 분석하였다. 제안된 구조의 지연시간 분석을 위한 근사해석모델을 개발하였으며 그 타당성은 시뮬레이션에 의해 검증하였다.

  • All-IP network requires change of the existing IP network engineering methods as the convergence service market between communication and broadcasting industries using IP network is growing rapidly. Especially the video services like IPTV require more strict transmission quality and higher bandwidth than the existing data services. So it is difficult to design All-IP network by the over-provisioning method which used to be used for the existing IP network design. It also requires a heavy investment which becomes one of big obstacles to the IPTV service expansion. In order to reduce the investment costs, it is required to design an optimized network by maximizing the utilization of the network resources and at the same time maintaining the customer satisfaction in terms of service quality. In this paper, we first analyze the effects of IPTV traffic on the existing internet. Then we compare two traffic engineering technologies, which are dimensioning without admission control and dimensioning with admission control, on the All-IP network design by simulation. Finally, we suggest cost effectiveness of traffic engineering technologies for designing the All-IP network.

  • 여객역(旅客驛)이 대개 도심(都心)에 위치(位置)하고 있는 탓으로 도시(都市)의 성장(成長)과 함께 교통혼잡(交通混雜)의 요인(要因)이 되고 있다. 본(本) 연구(硏究)는 부산(釜山)을 예(例)로 하여 여객역(旅客驛)의 입지(立地)에 대한 대안(代案)을 설정(設定)하고 시내통행(市內通行) 및 시외연계(市外連繫) 접근통행별(接近通行別)로 통행발생(通行發生), 통행배분(通行配分), 수단선역(手段選擇), 노선배정(路線配定)의 모의실험(模擬實驗) 과정(過程)을 통하여 여객역(旅客驛)의 입지(立地)가 도시교통체계(都市交通體系)에 미치는 영향(影響)을 비교(比較) 분석(分析)하였다.

실시간 운전 특성 모니터링 시스템을 위한 차량 환경 개발 (Development of Vehicle Environment for Real-time Driving Behavior Monitoring System)

  • There has been recent interest in intelligent vehicle technologies, such as advanced driver assistance systems (ADASs) or in-vehicle information systems (IVISs) that offer a significant enhancement of safety and convenience to drivers and passengers. However, unsuitable design of HMI (Human Machine Interface) must increase driver distraction and workload, which in turn increase the chance of traffic accidents. Distraction in particular often occurs under a heavy driving workload due to multitasking with various electronic devices like a cell phone or a navigation system while driving. According to the 2005 road traffic accidents in Korea report published by the ROad Traffic Authority (ROTA), more than 60% of the traffic accidents are related to driver error caused by distraction. This paper suggests the structure of vehicle environment for real-time driving behavior monitoring system while driving which is can be used the driver workload management systems (DWMS). On-road experiment results showed the feasibility of the suggested vehicle environment for driving behavior monitoring system.

우리나라 시운전 선박의 해양사고 위험성 조사 분석 연구 (A Study on Risk Analysis of Marine Accident for Sea Trial Ships)

  • Approximately 4,000 vessels including sea trial ships per day are passing, entering or departing from Korea coastal waterway. Sea trial ships have erratic navigating patterns such as quick turning, crash stop and do not communicate with other vessels in appropriate time, so sea trial ships are often to expose dangerous situation such as collision in heavy traffic area. To identify the sea trial vessel's risk factors, this paper surveyed marine traffic volumes for 7 days in Korea harbour & coastal waterway, and it analyzed marine accident rate and intended to identify the risk degree of passing vessels. After that, this researched how many sea trial ship's traffic and what is the sea trial risk among sea trial items. We also conducted survey questionnaire and identified risk factors of sea trial ship. So this paper aimed to enhance the safety of korea coastal waterway to prevent sea trial ship's marine accident.

정보 시스템 기술을 적용한 제설장비 운영 사례 분석 (Operation Case Analyses of Snow Removal Equipments using Information system Technologies)

  • 연구목적 : 최근 기후변화에 따라 여름철 태풍, 호우와 겨울철 대설, 한파 등의 기상재난이 증가하고 있다. 대설재난은 교통, 건물, 시설물 등에 다양한 피해를 발생시키기 때문에 신속한 대처가 필요하다. 대설재난이 도시 안전에 영향을 주고 있으나 우리나라의 대설재난 대처는 미흡하고, 정책 연구도 부족한 상황이다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 대설재난이 발생할 때 신속한 도로 제설을 위하여 제설차량과 장비에 정보 통신 기술을 활용한 사례를 분석하고, 시사점을 도출한다. 연구결과 : 도로 제설장비에 정보통신기술이 적용된 장비를 부착하면 긴급 상황시 제설차량과 장비의 위치를 파악하여 인근지역의 도로 제설을 응원할 수 있다. 결론 : 본 연구의 사례 분석은 향후 지자체 제설장비의 효율적 이용을 위해 활용될 수 있다.

도시 대기중 중금속에 관한 연구 -서울시 신촌지역을 중심으로- (Heavy Metals in Ambient Air at Shinchon Area in Seoul)

  • In order to investigate the character of air pollution by heavy metals and to elucidate the possible sources in Seoul city, this study was performed to measure the concentrations of heavy metals of total suspended particulate and air pollutants such as $SO_2, NO_2, CO, CH_4$, Non-methane hydrocarbon, ozone at the residential-traffic area (shinchon dong) in January and February, 1986. The results are as follows: 1. $SO_2$ and TSP concentration were 135ppb and 167 $\mug/m^3$ in average, respectively. 2. While concentrations of heavy metals such as Fe, Cu, Pb in the ambient air seems gradually decreasing annually, Ni compound has been shown the tendency of increasing. 3. Among heavy metals in TSP analysed, the iron was detected at the highest level, 0.905% and the cadimium was the lowest 0.004% in average, respectively. 4. V, Fe and Zn compounds in air were observed to be highly correlated with their correlation coefficients(r) higher than 0.7. Pb compound was highly correlated to the levels of Zn and Fe, however relatively less correlated to V compound. 5. Among concentrations of heavy metals in the particulates, V and Ni compounds were highly correlated with coefficient(r) of 0.8587; the cause might be imagined by the fact of releasing from combustion of fuel oil. Fe, Pb and Zn compounds were highly correlated $SO_2$ concentration. It might be explained that they were released by combustion of coal. 6. The level of $SO_2$ was highly correlated to most of heavy metals: especially correlation coefficient(r) to Pb compound was 0.9081. Pb compound was also highly correlated to NO, CO and TSP. TSP showed higher correlation to Pb and Cd compounds than to V and Ni compounds. It might be assumed that particulate was mainly produced by combusting coal from space heating and by exhausting gasoline and diesel oil from transportation rather than by burning fuel oil.

부산시 회동저수지 집수분지 내 주요 도로변 퇴적물의 중금속 오염 평가 (Heavy Metal Contamination in Roadside Sediments within the Watershed of the Hoidong Reservoir in Busan City)

  • 회동저수지 집수분지 내 주요 도로변 퇴적물의 중금속 함량은 토양오염 우려기준보다 낮게 나타났다 중금속함량이 높은 지역은 대부분 교통량이 많은 7번 국도이며 , 특히, 커브지점, 우수관, 과속단속 지점, 횡단보도 등에서 높은 함량을 보인다. 도로변 퇴적물 내 입도별 중금속 함량은 세립 입도($63{\mu}m$이하)일수록 높은 값을 보여주고 있으나, 총 함량은 조립 입도의 퇴적물($100{\mu}m$이상)에 의해 결정된다. 이는 우기 시에 유출수에 의해 세립 퇴적물이 주변 수계로 이동된 결과로 해석되며 수영강 및 회동저수지의 수질에 악영향을 미칠 수 있다. 따라서 교통량이 많은 7번 국도와 퇴적물이 쉽게 주변 수계로 유입될 수 있는 한물교와 같은 교량에서 퇴적물의 이동을 조절할 수 있는 적절한 처리시설이 요구된다.
