폴리이미드에 스퍼터 증착된 Cu-Cr 합금박막의 열처리 거동 (Thermal behavior of Cu-Cr Alloy Films sputter-deposited onto polyimide)

  • Thermal behavior of Cu-Cr thin alloy films has been investigated by SEM, AES, and TEM. Cu-Cr alloy films containing 3wt% Cr, 8wt% Cr have been sputter-deposited onto polyimide substrates and heat treated at $400^{\circ}C$ for 2hrs in the various atmosphere. Before heat treatment, Cu and Cr content in the film are uniform through the thickness and oxygen content in the film is negligible. Redistribution of Cr, Cu, and O in the film due to heat treatment depends on the Cr content and heat treatment atmoshpere. There kinds of thermal behavior are ascribed to the formation of surface and interface oxides as well as internal oxidation. Hillocks are observed on the surface of Cu-Cr alloy films which have been heat treated in N2. The hillocks are composed of large grainss of Cu.

천연가스의 열용량을 측정하기 위한 촉매가스센서의 특징 (Characterization of A Catalystic Gas Sensor for Measuring Heat Content of Natural Gas)

  • 전력을 적재 소모하는 (300 mW 이하) 촉매가스센서가 개발되었고, 천연가스에 열용량을 측정하기 위해 컴퓨터로 작동되는 샘플링 시스템에 사용되었다. 가스의 열용량은 촉매자스센서가 감지되는 연소가스에 노출되었을 때 발생된 에너지에 비례된다. 36.30 - 39.88 $MJ/m^3$ 범위의 정격 열용량을 갖는 천연가스의 열용량은 약 $1\%$ 에러 내에서 측정되었다. 각 가스들은 센서의 온도에 대하여 약간씩 다른 감응곡선을 갖고 있다. 따라서 한 온도에서 모든 감응이 같을 수는 없다. 작동 온도는 측정장치의 전 성능에 영향을 미치기 때문에 교정과정에서 최적의 작동 온도를 찾는 것은 중요하다.

아세트산 처리 갑오징어(Sepia esculenta)갑을 이용한 어묵의 품질 개선 (Quality Improvement of Heat-Induced Surimi Gel using Calcium Powder of Cuttle, Sepia esculents Bone Treated with Acetic Acid)

  • Heat-induced surimi gels were prepared using various concentration of ATC as a additives and calcium agent. Regardless of various concentration of ATC, there were no difference the moisture $(80.4-81.2\%)\;and\;crude\;ash\;(1.4-1.\5%)$ contents. The pH of heat-induced surimi gels were decreased 7.16 to 7.04 depend on increasing ATC concentration. The whiteness, breaking force and gel strength of $0.09\%$surimi gel were improved significantly difference (p<0.05). Sensory evaluation on texture and whiteness were also similar to determination by color and texture meters. In mineral content of heat-induced surimi gel calcium content was increased 26 to 54 mg/100g depend on increasing ATC concentration, while phosphorus content was not change. The optimal concentration of ATC for preparation of high quality heat-induced surimi gel was $0.09\%$. The shelf-life of heat-induced surimi gel did not extend by addition of $0.09\%$ ATC.

오스템퍼 처리(處理)한 구상흑연주철(球狀黑鉛鑄鐵)의 강인화(强靭化)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)(1) (The Study on the Strength and Toughness of Austempered Ductile Cast Iron)

  • Ductile cast iron has good ductility and toughness, for the graphite morphology is spheroidal. It has been reported that the strengthening and toughening of the ductile cast iron was resulted from the modification of matrix structure by the heat treatment or the addition of alloying elements. In this study, effects of various special heat treatments (cyclic heat treatment and intermediate heat treatment) and Ni addition on the toughness and strength of the austempered ductile cast iron were studied. The results obtained from this study were as follows : 1. The amount of fine pearlite was increased with the Ni content and the number of cycle in cyclic heat treatment. 2. When the specimens treated and not by special heat treatment at 820 was austempered, in the former the austenite was formed on grain boundary entirely, but in the latter on grain boundary partially. 3. The impact energy was decreased with the Ni content, because the coarisen austenite pools formed with the Ni content was transformed into martensite during quenching. 4. The mechanical properties of austempered ductile cast iron containing 2%Ni treated cyclic heat treatment(5 cycles)was very excellent in handness 99(HRB), impact energy 12(kg-m) maximum fracture load 1500(kg-f).

토양 열전도도와 수분함량이 수평형 지중열교환기 설계 길이에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Soil Thermal Conductivity and Moisture Content on Design Length of Horizontal Ground Heat Exchanger)

  • This paper reviewed and evaluated some of the commonly used prediction models for thermal conductivity of soils with the experimental data. Semi-theoretical models for two-component materials were found inappropriate to estimate the thermal conductivity of dry state soils. It came out that the model developed by Cote and Konrad gave the best overall prediction results for unsaturated soils available in the literature. However, it still needs to be improved to cover a wider range of soil types and degrees of saturation. In the present study, parametric analysis is also conducted to investigate the effect of soil type and moisture content on the horizontal ground heat exchanger design. The analysis shows that horizontal ground heat exchanger pipe length is reduced with the increase of soil thermal conductivity and water content. The calculation results also show that horizontal ground heat exchanger size can be reduced to a certain extent by using backfilling material with a higher thermal conductivity of solid particles.

저관리·경량형 옥상녹화를 위한 세덤류의 내서성 평가 (Hot Tolerance Assessment of Sedum spp. for Extensive Green Roof System)

  • 이 연구는 저관리 경량형 옥상녹화시스템을 위한 내서성 식물 선발을 목적으로 6종 세덤식물을 대상으로 처리 시간과 온도에 따라 전해질 용출, 엽록소 함량 변화 및 재생 실험을 실시하였으며, 토양수분과 고온스트레스와의 관계를 연구하였다. Logistic비선형 회귀분석을 이용하여 6시간의 고온 처리 후 5%의 토양 함수량의 치사 온도는 $45.1{\sim}48.0^{\circ}C$, 토양 함수량 10%, 15%의 경우 각각 $47.5{\sim}49.3^{\circ}C$, $48.6{\sim}52.8^{\circ}C$의 범위로 측정되었다. 고온스트레스는 처리 시 토양 수분이 높을수록 세덤류의 내서성이 높아졌다. 엽록소 함량은 처리 온도가 높을수록 함량이 낮아졌고, 토양 수분 함량이 낮을수록 분해 속도가 높아졌다. 토양 함수량 5% 시 고온에 대한 저항성은 S. reflexum>S. takevimense>S. middendorffianum>S. album>S. sieboldii>S. spurium의 순으로 나타났으며, 토양 함수량이 15%의 경우는S. album>S. reflexum>S. spurium>S. takevimense>S. middendorffianum>S. sieboldii의 순으로 나타났다. 토양의 수분 함량이 높을수록 S. album, S. reflexum, S. spurium의 내서성이 높아졌다. 이러한 결과는 재생 검사의 결과와 전해질 용출 평가에 일관성이 있는 것으로 증명되었다.

건조방법에 따른 건고추의 품질특성과 생산효율 비교 (Comparison of Dried Hot Pepper Quality and Production Efficiency by Drying Methods)

  • 고추는 조미채소의 한 종류로 우리나라 채소시장에서 큰 비중을 차지하는 품목이다. 대부분 고추의 이용은 건고추의 분말형태인 고춧가루로 가공하여 이용되고 있으므로, 고추건조에 대한 품질과 생산성 향상이 중요한 부분이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 고추의 건조방법에 따라 고춧가루의 품질을 좌우할 수 있는 성분의 변화에 대하여 비교하고, 생산비를 고려하여 적정 건조방법을 제시하고자 실험을 수행하였다. 건조방법으로는 관행으로 많이 이용되는 양건과 화건을 이용하였으며, 제습기를 이용한 제습건조방식을 추가 적용하여 건고추 생산성과 품질을 비교하였다. 고추의 건조방식에 따른 건조율은 화건이 85.1%로 제일 높았고, 이에 따라 고춧가루의 수분함량도 13.5%로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 고추의 색택을 좌우하는 ASTA(American Spice Trade Association) 색도는 양건처리에 비해 화건과 제습건조처리가 높은 결과를 보였다. 고춧가루의 신미성분인 capsaicinoid 함량은 양건처리에 비하여 화건과 제습건조처리에서 모두 낮게 나타나 이에 대한 추가적인 적정 건조조건에 대한 연구가 추가되어야 된다. 당함량은 건조시간이 비교적 짧았던 화건과 제습건조처리에서 양건에 비해 높게 나타났으나 두 처리간에는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 건고추 생산비용은 제습건조처리가 화건처리에 비해 9.9% 효율이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 화건과 제습건조가 당함량의 증진과 건고추의 색 발현 측면에서는 효과적 이었음을 알 수 있었다. 고추의 신미성분인 capsaicinoid 함량 증진을 위해서는 화건과 제습건조처리에서 적정한 건조온도와 건조시간에 대한 연구가 추가되어야 될 것으로 판단되었다.

Effect of Mg content on the density and critical properties of in-situ reacted MgB2 bulk superconductor

  • The effects of Mg content on the pore formation, density and critical properties were investigated in in-situ reacted $MgB_2$ superconductors. The $Mg_{1+x}B_2$, (x=-0.2, 0.0, 0.05, 0.3, 1.0) bulk samples with different Mg contents were heat-treated at $900^{\circ}C$ for 1 h in an Ar atmosphere. The dimensional changes of a pellet's mass and volume after heat-treatment were measured. After heat-treatment process, the sample mass was decreased by Mg evaporation, but the sample volume was expanded by pore formation at the Mg site; therefore, the apparent density was decreased. Spherical pores the same as Mg particles were developed after heat-treatment in all samples, and the pore density was increased with increasing Mg content. As the x of Mg content was increased to 1.0, the apparent density of $Mg_{1+x}B_2$ samples was decreased due to a relatively larger reduction in a mass change. The critical current density of Mg excessive sample of x=0.05 showed the highest values over the applied magnetic fields because the excessive Mg may compensate Mg loss and enhance grain connectivity.

DP강의 전기저항점용접부 너깃직경에 미치는 Si 함량의 영향 (Effect of Si content on Nugget Diameter of Electric Resistance Spot Welded Dual Phase Steel)

  • In this study, effect of Si content on nugget diameter in electric resistance spot welded dual-phase(DP) steel was investigated. The cold rolled DP steels with different Si content (0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 wt.%) were used and thickness of those sheet was 1.2mm. With increasing Si content, nugget diameter was increased at the same welding current. This is attributed to increase of heat input result from high resistivity. Also, nugget diameter was increased with an increase in Si content for the same heat input. For this reason, the melting point of DP steel is lowered with an increase in the Si content. And solid DP steel can easily be transformed to a liquid phase because the low melting point. Finally, a prediction formula for the nugget diameter(N.D.) could be obtained in terms of heat input(Q) and melting point(M.P) as follows: N.D.(mm) = 0.11Q(J) - 0.0031 M.P.($^{\circ}C$) + 0.32.

경량 폴리머 콘크리트 복합체의 내열성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Heat Resistance of Light-Weight Polymer Concrete Composites)

  • In recent years, the light-weight aggregate has widely been used to reduce the weight of construction structures, and to achieve the thermal insulation of building structures. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the heat resistance of polymer concrete composites with light-weight aggregate made by binders as resin and cement with polymer dispersion. The light-weight polymer concrete composites are prepared with various conditions such as binder content, filler content, void-filling ratio, light-weight aggregate content and polymer-cement ratio, and tested for heat resistant test, and measured the weight reducing ratio, strengths and exhaustion content of gas such as CO, NO and $SO_2$. From the test results, the weight reducing ratio of light weight polymer concrete using UP binder after heat resistance test increase with an increase in the UP content irrespective of the filler content. The weight reducing ratio of polymer cement concrete is considerably smaller than that of UP concrete. In general, the strengths after heat resistance of polymer concrete composites are reduced about 40 to 65% compared with those before test. The exhausted quantity of CO, NO and $SO_2$ gases in polymer concrete composites is less than EPS(Expanded poly styrene). From the this study, it is confirmed that the many types gases discharge according to binder type of polymer concrete composites, its amount is controlled by selection of the binder type and mix proportions.
