  • We develop the Dual Head Star Tracker (DHST) to obtain the attitude information of science and Technology Satellite2 (STSAT-2). Because most of star sensor has only one head camera, star recognition is impossible when camera point to sun or earth. We therefore considered the DHST which can obtain star images from two spots simultaneously. That is, even though we fail a star recognition from an image obtained by one camera, it is possible to recognize stars from an image obtained by the other camera. In this paper, we introduce engineer model (EM) of the DHST and propose a star recognition and a star track algorithm.

  • Flow analyses have been performed to investigate the uniformity of propellant flow through the fuel and oxidizer manifolds of a full-scaled gas generator for a pump-fed liquid rocket engines. Injectors were simulated as porous medium layers having equivalent pressure drops. The uniformity of propellants has been analyzed for 3 fuel rings and 3 injector head configurations. The mixture ratio distribution at the exit of injectors has been estimated from the mass flow rates of fuel and oxidizer. The best configuration of fuel ring and injection head was selected through these flow analyses.

  • We present four cases of aberrant carotid arteries manifesting as pharyngeal masses with throat discomfort. The symptoms of this anomaly are very similar to those of laryngopharyngeal reflux or globus pharyngeus. The identification of this anomalous artery is essential for the head and neck surgeon because the anomaly frequently manifests as a symptomatic pulsatile mass in the pharynx. All patients complained of foreign body sensation in the throat and showed protrusion of the posterolateral pharyngeal wall anteromedially. CT scans demonstrated that there were two cases involving the right common carotid artery (CCA) and two cases involving both CCAs in the retropharyngeal space. As conclusion, the aberrant course of the artery can occur on both sides of CCAs, and it can manifest as a pharyngeal mass. When the patients complain of foreign body sensation in the throat without any other abnormal findings in the pharynx, we should consider the possibility that it may be due to the aberrant course of the CCA and its bifurcations in the retropharyngeal space.

  • Recently, the development of the head mounted display (HMD) device has attracted a great deal of attention to the actual contents. Especially, Augmented Reality (AR), which is a mixture of actual information and virtual world information, is focused on. AR HMD is able to interact by arranging virtual objects in real space through spatial recognition using depth camera. In order to naturally mix virtual space with real space, it is necessary to develop a technology for realizing spatial mapping information with high accuracy. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the optimal configuration of augmented reality application program by realizing accurate spatial mapping information when mapping a real space and an object placement environment using HoloLens. To do this, we changed the spatial mapping information in real space to three levels, which are the number of meshes used in cubic meters to scan step by step. After that, it was compared with the 3D model obtained by changing the actual space and mesh number. Experimental result shows that the higher the number of meshes used in cubic meters, the higher the accuracy between real space and spatial mapping. This paper is expected to be applied to augmented reality application programs that require scanning of highly mapped spatial mapping information.

  • An attempt was made to determine the effect of the volatile components of edible wild grass by cooking. We collect the volatile components of Agrimonia Japonica by dynamic\ulcorner head space method. Samples were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS). Thirty-six components, including 16 hydrocarbons, 7 alcohols, 4 esters, 7 benzoid compounds, 1 aldehyde and 1 ketone were confirmed in raw samples. Also 6 hydrocarbons identified in cooked sample. Alpha-pinene and 3-he-xane-ol were regarded as the most abundant components in raw sample. By heating of Japonica, most of the volatile compounds were disappeared, but alpha-pinene was remained abundantly.

  • This paper addresses major issues in localising sound sources in space using the experimental data set of head-related responses in the time or frequency domain. They come from the technical realisation steps for implementing the convolution of HRIR's with sound sources, the cross-talk cancellation for transaural filtering, the matched time delay compensation, etc. in real, those technical matters seem to be minor because they can be realised in off-line signal processing schemes. This paper puts much emphasis on what we misunderstood about the sets of HRTF's or HRIR's, More specifcaily, the sets of HRTF's or HRIR's of course supply relevant information to sound localisation but include much useless 'rubbish' that have made for us to fail to put spatial image into real souno signals such as voices and music's. This paper proposes possible reasons for such failure and, furthermore, introduces detained subjects that should be challenged so as to resolve them.

  • Using the orthogonal arrays and the occupant analysis software based on the multi-body dynamics , two interactive design algorithms are proposed to improve the initial design of the occupant protection systems. Algorithm 1 sequentially moves the narrow design space within the upper and the lower design limit. Algorithm 2 sequentially reduces the relatively wide design space. Each design algorithm is composed of two levels . The first level is to improve the characteristics of the crash performance considering the noise factors. In order to obtain the robust design, the second level reduces the variations the noise factors. In order to obtain the robust design, the second level reduces the variations due to the tolerance of the design variable. To utilize the algorithm 1, HIC(Head Injury Criterion) , 3 msec criterion value of the chest acceleration and the femur load decreased by 27.4%, 10.4% and 55.8%, respectively. To utilizer the algorithm 2 , the results decreased by 38.0%, 10.5% and 3.0% , respectively.

  • This paper presents a design of the Dasan Children\`s Park which is located Shindang- dong, lung-gu, Seoul which has an area of about 3,678$m^2$. Objectives for the design were to make nature-friendly space, learning space, interesting play space, space for every child, adventure play space, traditional play space, sense of place, and recycle space. For the space compositions a children\`s garden, a traditional play space, and a science play space were located around the S shaped main route. Facilities relating nature, science, culture. environment and adventure play were arranged in the 3 main spaces. The Children\`s Garden is a green space for learning and playing with natural elements. It is composed of a ecological learning space, a children\`s story garden, a children\`s song road, an environmental labyrinth, and a pall space leer handicap children. The Science Play Place is a place space for learning scientific theories through plays to which scientific theories were applied. It is composed of a total play structure, a math experience playground, a \"Keojunggi\" play space, a sound reflecting experience space, arid an infant playground. The Traditional Play Madang(space) is a space for traditional plays. It is composed of a traditional play pattern, a sun dial, and a floor fountain. The Recycle Road is a dragon shaped road fort learning about resource recycling and conservation. It is composed of a dragon head, body, tail space and a dragon bead(cint mani).int mani).
