부산 신항만 건설현장의 채석장에 대한 지질공학적 고찰 (Engineering Geological Analysis for the Quarry Located at the Construction Site of the New Susan Harbor)

  • 현재 건설중에 있는 부산 신항만의 매립을 위해 채석장이 가동중에 있으나, 실제 공사 중 채석된 암석이 당초 설계와는 다른 암질을 포함하고 있다. 따라서, 당초 설계와는 달리 많은 폐석이 발생되어 정상적인 공사추진에 애로사항이 있으므로, 현장조사 및 실내작업을 통하여 지정된 채석장에 대한 전체적인 암질을 구분하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 이를 위해 측량, Schimidt Rock Hammer 시험, 절리간격조사를 시행하였고 실내에서 DIPS 및 Rockworks 프로그램을 이용하여 절리의 방향성 및 발파 후 암괴의 크기를 분석하였다. 그 결과 본 지역에는 절리밀도가 높아 토석 채취시 ${\Phi}100mm$ 이하의 필터사석이 많이 발생하는 것으로 분석되었다.

  • 9.11 terrors which happen in 2001 in the U.S. recognize importance about national security and Department of Commerce, country safety department, Federal Communication Commission(FCC) etc. are establishing RFID sticking plan in harbor exit and entrance container for this, and it is real condition that is preparing preparation of law and system that establishes harbor peace law(Safe Port Act) on October, 2006 and acts on for U.S. about container load cargo Europe and Asia each countries. These law and system is logistics security that strengthen search for import and export freight and security to main contents. To meet in these circumstance subsequent, this paper is to examine the following three themes. First, examined necessity of logistics security and logistics security strengthening tendency, and second, examined in achievement of logistics business and RFID, and third, presented logistics security process that utilize change of realization about logistics security and RFID's role for logistics security. Through upper investigation, this paper suggested the realization about logistics security raising, logistics security connection system construction by export step, real-time freight chase that use RFID, construction necessity of executive system and development of logistics security equipment required.

Field Application of the Slit Type Coastal Structures under Waves and Currents

  • Redevelopment of the domestic small fishing ports is being started in earnest by applying the environmentally friendly technology in order to attract tourists. For the purpose of improving water quality in the harbor, selection of breakwater type might have the priority to secure calmness and stability. Therefore, this study is to determine the hydraulic characteristics of reflective ratio, installation efficiency and stability of the special type of blocks through the hydraulic model experiment. The results were introduced to analyze for the effect of infield construction work through numerical analysis. Gujora, a small fishing port in southern Korea, is affected by the waves of SSE, S, SSW direction and strong tidal currents. The results of applying cylindrical slit block show that stability of the blocks and harbor calmness were secured. Considering that the pass rate of a long period wave is still excellent, the primary objective of wave control and the secondary objective of improving water exchange are satisfied simultaneously.

모래지반에 설치된 가로널식 방파제의 횡방향 거동에 관한 모형실험 (Model Tests on the Lateral Behavior of Soldier Pile Type Breakwater Installed in Sand)

  • 우리나라의 소규모 항만이나 어항인 경우에 설계파는 낮지만 지반조건이 좋지 않은 경우가 많기 때문에 기존의 방파제 축조공법을 이용할 경우 비용이 커질 뿐만 아니라 건설재료의 확보가 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 설계파가 비교적 낮은 경우에 저렴하게 적용할 수 있는 새로운 형식의 방파제에 대한 수요가 증가함에 따라, 본 연구에서는 지반에 대한 특별한 처리 없이 간편하게 설치할 수 있는 가로널식 방파제를 개발하였다. 이 논문은 개발된 가로널식 방파제에 대해 방파제의 근입깊이 및 보강기법, 배치 형태 등 다양한 조건에 따른 방파제의 횡방향 거동을 분석한 것으로 이를 위해 느슨한 모래지반을 대상으로 모형 토조실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과, 근입깊이 이외에도 경사 버팀보나 앵커등 보강재의 효과 및 방파제 배치 형식에 따른 경향을 확인하였다.

조석확폭에 수반되는 조간대 영역 확대의 영향성 (Effects of Tidal Flat Enlargement Induced by Tidal Amplification)

  • 목포해역과 같이 수심이 복잡하고 조간대가 광범위하게 발달되어 있는 곳의 수심자료를 용이하게 입력하고 수치모형 운용을 경제적으로 수행할 수 있는 기법을 개발하였다. 이를 청계만의 조간대 모의에 적용하여 조간대와 관련된 목포해역의 동수역학적 해석을 수행하였다. 하구언과 방조제 건설에 따라 목포항 인근을 비롯해 청계만 수역까지 조석확폭현상이 발생한 바 있는데, 이로 인해 청계만의 조간대 규모가 증대되었으며 낙조우세가 더욱 심화되었다. 청계만의 심화된 낙조우세현상은 목포항 쪽의 해수유통량 증가에 기인하였는데 이러한 영향성 증대로 인해 목포항 부근의 낙조우세 역시 심화된 결과를 초래하였다.

  • Coastal wave and tide information is very important in various occasions for port and harbor engineers, in the stages such as port and harbor planning, maritime structure design, maritime construction management, and coastal disaster study This paper introduces recent improvement of Japanese coastal wave-tide observation and information system named as NOWPHAS (Nationwide Ocean Wave information network for Ports and HArbourS).   • Ship Pilotage is one of the most important parts in the construction and development of Shanghai International Shipping Center as it has the fundamental function for the promotion and speed-up of the ship navigation and cargo operation. Recently, Shanghai Maritime University and Shanghai Harbour Pilotage Administration Station had carried out a research project of 'Study on Ship Safety Pilotage in the Shanghai Harbour by Way of FSA (Formal Safety Assessment)'. The aim of this project is to put out some proposes of the decision-making for the improvement of the safety pilotage in Shanghai habour through the way of the FSA. Now these proposes of the decision-making have been adopted and conducted in practice and satisfactory results have been achieved. In the paper, some detailed information, methods and ideas about this research project have been introduced and explained for improving the safety pilotage in Shanghai Harbour.

A Study on Heuristic Berthing System Design with Winch and Damper Assistance

  • Vessel maneuvering problem in the harbor area is generating considerable interests in terms of marine cybernetics. In this sense, the vessel is operated and moves at ultimately low or zero speed in shallow water area. So the vessel is usually aided by the cooperation with thrusters, main propulsion system, tugboats and pilots, etc. In this paper, we suggest a new vessel berthing technique using dampers and winches as a solution for excessively complicate and dangerous berthing work. In the proposed berthing method, in order to manipulate the actuators (winches and dampers), a simple and heuristic control strategy is applied for a basic experiment. Finally, experiments are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed automatic vessel berthing strategy based on the heuristic control method.

  • Many studies on BIM-based design, construction and operation have already been conducted on roads, railways, etc., but BIM research in the ports and harbors is still lacking. This research develops BIM Library and Technical contents focused on practical usability of ports and harbors infrastructure. We have developed technical content by applying various User Interfaces and workflows, considering the characteristics of ports and harbors design. In order to examine the practical utility of the developed library and contents, we tried modeling the breakwater using these. As a result, we confirmed that collaboration of BIM library and technical contents could significantly improve the productivity of BIM design by increasing library usage and automating repetitive tasks.

  • On the way of construction in harbor area, scourin problems took place slowly failure of embankment in the beginning of construction in sites. For studying on the scouring properties during revetment construction in silty sand soil layers, this paper is carried out on lessons of case studies of numerical seepage analysis, scouring countermeasures in dredged landfill area.
