현대 헤어스타일에 나타난 Art Deco적 특성 (A Study on the Art-Deco Hair Styles)

  • The purpose of this study was to observe the Art-Deco style art and hair-style. Art-deco design, which was popular in the 20th century, especially in the 1920s and 1930s, actively absorbed new forms, materials, and aesthetic values that come from technological developments and bridged the tradition to new pupblic culture. Art-Deco style art showed and geometrical decoration tendency to meet modem concept and sense. The over all study on back grounds of Art-Deco style and its art works made possible to figure out the summary on formative characteristics of the style such as simplicity, exoticism, vivid colors, and functionalism. These findings suggest that hair styles borrow its characteristics or image from the past style to create new styles. It was found in the development of new hair styles that patterns or geometric motive appearing the Art-D$\acute{e}$eco style are the source of rich design.

왕실 머리장식을 응용한 헤어 액세서리 디자인 개발 (Development of Hair Accessory Designs Using Royal Hair Ornaments)

  • 최근 젊은 세대의 전통 복식 체험이나, 퓨전 한복의 일상복화 등의 추세에 따라 한복용 헤어 액세서리의 개발이 필요한 실정이다. 본 논문의 연구 목적은 왕실 여성의 머리 장식을 활용하여 한복과 어울리는 실용적이고 현대적인 헤어 액세서리 디자인을 개발하여 한복 문화를 활용한 패션 콘텐츠 개발의 영역을 확장시키고, 전통 문화의 다양한 경험에 대한 수요를 충족시키는 것이다. 연구 방법은 문헌연구를 통해서 전통 머리모양 및 영왕비의 전통 장신구들을 조사하였고, 실증연구로 실물을 제작하였다. 제작과정은 먼저 전통 머리모양을 응용하여 나일론 메쉬로 기본 형태를 만들었고, 그 위에 장엄하고 화려한 왕실 유물을 활용한 디지털 텍스타일 프린팅 원단을 접목하여 궁극적으로 전통 장신구를 착용한 듯한 트롱프뢰유 기법을 줄 수 있도록 디자인을 설계하였다. 결과적으로 총 6개의 헤어 액세서리 디자인이 완성되었으며, 헤어 밴드, 헤어 핀, 헤어 고무밴드의 구조로 제작하였다. 또한 착용자의 헤어 스타일에 관계 없이 간편하게 착용할 수 있도록 하였고 나일론 메쉬 소재의 특유의 빳빳하면서 유연한 재질을 이용하여 볼륨감 있는 머리 모양을 효과적으로 표현하였는데, 이는 마치 머리카락과도 같은 시각적인 착시 효과를 즐길 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해 일상의 유희와 희소성 있는 가치를 추구하는 대중들에게도 독특한 미적, 문화적 경험을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

조선시대 남자(男子)의 수식(首飾) 연구(II) - 풍잠(風簪)과 관자(貫子)를 중심(中心)으로 - (A Study on Korean Man's Head Ornaments in the Joseon Dynasty - Focusing on Pungjam and Kwanja -)

  • This thesis is about "manggon" that holds down man's top knot hair and its accessaries "pungjam", "kwanja". manggon was seen first time in the mural of Donwhang kae won chon bo during T'ang period (713-756). The "Tu Aek Ra" manggon shown in this mural would be the origin and beginning of maggon's usage. Also the "Sha" that was placed on top of the hair for decoration purpose is believed to be a former form of "manggon" Before the short hair cut was enforced, wearing the "kwan"(head gear) was considered as an impotant etiguette. Thus the head gear was treasured and the manggon which was the most essential piece to cover down the hair before to put on the head gear was regarded as the most important piece. However, since the manggon was tied very tightly around the forehead, manggon caused some sickness. From my private collections of man's head gears and ornament, 121 items were selected and used for analysis and the followings were found: 1. Pungjam was divided into 8 categories according to its shape and a research was made on its unique structural characteristic on each categories. 2. Kwanja's material and design that were used are all in accordance to the historical recordings.

의복유형과 헤어스타일이 남성의 인상형성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Clothing Type and Hair Style on Men’s Impression Formation)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of clothing type and hair style on men’s impression formation. The experimental design was 4×2×2×2 (clothing type×hair style×perceiver’s age×perceiver’s role) factorial design with between-subjects design. The stimuli of color photographs of male in his 20's model and semantic differential scale were used. The data were obtained from questionnaires completed by 881 men and women in the metropolitan area of Seoul. The SPSS package was used for data analysis which includes factor analysis, t-test, and Cronbach’s a to measure the reliability. This study showed the following results. Four factors were derived to account for the dimensions of impression formation. These were dignity, activity, individual character, and social intercourse. Men evaluated individual character factor higher than women did. Dignity factor was evaluated higher by students, while social intercourse factor was evaluated higher by office workers. The clothing type of shirts/pants was evaluated to be more active and more sociable than of jacket/pants. Men wanted to exhibit natty image and women did elegant image through clothes.

Rod 호수에 따른 Permanent Design 연구 (A Study on the Permanent Design of Rods Each Number)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore to determine the maximum volume with doing permanent waving in flat crown of the head. The method was like this. First of all, the diameter, the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter and the number of rotations were analyzed same hair using permanent waving rods each number of 1$\sim$10. Secondly, the increasing rate of volume of curls number of 1$\sim$10 was analyzed. According to the result of the experiment, as the number of permanent waving rods were bigger, the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter constant was increasing but the number of rotations was decreased. When the permanent waving rods of each number 1-3(Big diameter) were used, the volume was decreased. That's because there was fewer rotation compared to the diameter and was no ample combed dried hair. Due to this kind of reason, there was no perfect curling. Once number 10 permanent waving rods (most small size) was used, the shape of curling was strong and the stability was made after combed dried hair. But volume was decreased by 9% because of the cohesive power. In case of number of 4$\sim$9 rods used, volume was increased. Volume was highest when permanent waving rods was number 5 which was used combing on base both morphology and numerical value.

뷰티서비스 고객만족 요인의 탐색적 접근 - 헤어미용 서비스를 중심으로 - (Exploratory approach to customer satisfaction factors of beauty service - Focusing on hair beauty services -)

  • Despite accelerating market changes in the beauty service industry, there are still inadequate service education programs and a lack of objective data and research to develop systematic policies to strengthen competitiveness, thereby fostering the beauty service industry. Accordingly, this study will examine the factors that affect customer satisfaction in terms of customer touchpoints, hence uncovering what the beauty service needs to develop systematic customer service education programs. It aims to contribute to the improvement of beauty service quality by providing basic empirical data that is necessary to build service education programs and strengthen the touchpoint staffs' job competency. A total of 16 people, 8 male, and 8 female customers in their 30s and 40s, who have ever used hair shop services in the metropolitan area, and 8 male and female hair designers and owners, were interviewed during a 9week period from October 31, 2017, through December 30, 2017. The data was analyzed as follows in order to measure service quality, SERVQUAL was revised and supplemented according to the purpose of this study, and a table for customer satisfaction factors was constructed. In addition, the results of the study were derived by classifying the relations among the customer satisfaction factors with respect to the interviews. The results show that the price of hardware, the location of the store, and hair designers' ability, which are the direct components of customer satisfaction, have a great influence on the customer satisfaction considered when selecting the beauty services (hair shops). In addition, it can be seen that human services including human-ware, which are accompanying services make up a high proportion considering customer satisfaction factors.

의복관여에 따른 헤어관여와 헤어태도의 차이 및 헤어실태 (Hairdo Involvement.Hairdo Attitude Differences Depending on Clothing Involvement and Actual Conditions of Hairdo)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in the hairdo involvement and hairdo attitude influenced by clothing involvement. In addition, actual conditions of hairdo were investigated. The questionnaires were given to female residents in Seoul and Gyeong-gi province during September to October 2006. Four hundred and six questionnaires were used for data analysis. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS 12.0 software with various techniques such as factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, cluster analysis, ANOVA test, Duncan test, frequency analysis and $X^2-test$. The results of this study were as follows; 1. The factors for clothing involvement were found to be interests and pleasure in clothes, coordination of clothes, symbolic representation, fashionableness, and risk awareness. The hairdo involvement factors were found to be interests and pleasure in hairdo, fashionableness, symbolic representation, risk awareness, and coordination of hairdo. The factors for attitude toward hairdo were found to be orientations toward leader's fashion conformity, distinct individuality, constancy, and consciousness of others. 2. According to the level of clothing involvement, three types of group were defined. When difference in the hairdo involvement was analyzed, all factors showed significant differences. When difference in the hairdo attitude was analyzed, significant differences were found in orientations toward leader's fashion conformity, distinct individuality and consciousness of others. 3. Reason for choosing hair style is 'it's because they wanted the hair style', 'it's easy to groom', 'it's what they usually choose'. Average hair grooming time is less than 5 minute had higher rate, and then less than 10 minute came second. The money spend on buying consumption goods for hair treatment per month had the highest rate on spending 10,000 to 20,000won and the source of information on hairdo had the highest rate on hairdresser. The reason for choosing hair saloon had the highest rate on hairdressing skill, which shows that people choose hair saloons which they can trust on hair saloon's hairdressing skill.

인구통계적 특성에 따른 선호 헤어스타일 및 헤어추구이미지와의 관계: 미용실 방문객을 중심으로 (The Relationship between Preferred Hairstyle and Pursued-Image of Hairstyle according to Demographic Characteristics: Focusing on Hair Salon Visitors)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the difference between preferred hairstyle and pursued-image of hairstyle according to demographic characteristics. The method of this study is a content analysis and survey research using a questionnaire, which consisted of items of pursued-image of hairstyle, preferred hairstyle and demographic characteristics. 450 women were selected as subjects of this study; they were randomly selected from hair salon located in Seoul, Inchon and Bundang. For the material analysis, We used the statistical program of SPSS 12.0; frequencies, factor nalysis, one-way ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test, T Test and ${\chi}^2$ Test were carried out as the methods of analysis. The research findings were as follows. First, the results of hairstyles according to the content analysis usually resulted 5 hairstyles, such as cuts and crew cut, bobbed hair, long layered hair styles and nonelayered long hair styles. Second, under the survey regarding the difference of preferred hairstyle and pursued-image of hairstyle according to demographic characteristics. variety of hair styles due to the subjects were more willing to try a consciousness about other's suggestions and how they are portrayed. Moreover a low level of education was ralated to a attempting a variety of styles, considering their social life. Subjects with higher age, education level and salary preferred a glamorous image as well as crew cuts. Which made them look younger. However, when they were younger, they preferred long nonelayered hair styles. In conclusion, age, average monthly income and education level are important variations affecting the property of change in hairstyles and pursued-image of hairstyles.

인공 감각모의 동적 거동에 미치는 진동유동의 영향 (Effects of Oscillating Flow on the Dynamic Behavior of an Artificial Sensory Hair)

  • 주위 매질의 움직임에 반응하는 섬유상 감각모는 대부분의 생물체에 존재하여 먹이, 침입자, 또는 동족 여부를 감지하는 역할을 한다. 이 기능을 모방한 인공 감각모를 설계 제작하기 위하여 유연 감각모를 기초로 한 수학모델을 제안하고, 작동영역에서의 응답특성을 파악하기 위하여 매개변수 해석을 수행하고 각 인자들의 영향을 고찰하였다. 유동 감각모의 변위를 일반화 좌표 및 고유 진동모드로 나타낸 결과, 탄성계수가 비교적 큰 Cytop 감각모의 경우 고유진동의 기본모드가 지배적인 것으로 나타났다. 주어진 유동 중에 있는 감각모의 동적거동은 형상에 크게 의존하였다. 또한 탄성계수가 큰 인공 감각모에서는 생물학적으로 중요한 주파수 범위 내에서 공진현상은 나타나지 않았다.

모발의 염색관리 후 무색 헤어메니큐어의 관리시점에 따른 모발보호 효과 (The Effect by Colorless Hair Manicure Management after Dyeing Treatment on Damaged hair)

  • 본 인구에서는 손상된 염색모발에 윤기와 광택, 탄력, 부드러움까지 보완할 수 있으며, 현장에서 가장 활용빈도가 높다고 인정되는 헤어매니큐어 종류 중 무색 헤어매니큐어를 선정하여 무색 헤어매니큐어 제품의 관리시점에 따른 모발 보호 효과에 대해 연구한 결과는 다음과 같다. 인장강 신도 level 3과 level 6의 모발 모두 염색 후 손상이 되면 모발의 강도와 신도에 모두에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 염색 후 즉시 매니큐어를 하는 것보다 염색 후 2주 뒤 매니큐어를 하는 것이 더 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 level 3과 level 6 모발 모두 염색모발에 매니큐어 처리 시 모발의 질감을 좋게 함이 목적인 경우는 염색 후 즉시 매니큐어를 처리하는 것이 효과적이나, 모발의 물리적인 손상을 보완하기 위해서는 염색 후 2주 후에 매니큐어를 처리하는 것이 가장 효과적인 방법으로 판단된다.
