장내파생상품거래의 제도개선: 소비자보호를 중심으로 (Improvement about Regulatory System of KRX Derivatives Trading: Focusing on Financial Consumer Protection)

  • 본 논문은 세계적 수준의 양적인 성장에도 불구하고 여러 가지 문제점을 갖고 있는 국내의 장내 파생상품시장에 대한 바람직한 개선방향을 모색하고자 한다. 우리나라의 장내 파생상품시장에서는 외가격 또는 극외가격의 거래비중이 높고, 미결제약정 당 거래량이 많아 포지션을 짧게 보유하는 투기적 거래의 성향이 강한 것으로 보인다. 또한 외국에 비해 개인투자자의 파생상품시장 참여가 높은데 이로 인한 손실이 지속되고 있고 개인투자자들의 부가 기관 및 외국인투자자들에게 이전되고 있다. 이처럼 여러 문제점을 갖고 있는 장내 파생상품시장에 대한 바람직한 정비방향을 모색하기 위해 투자자보호를 위한 행위규제 측면에서 향후 규제체계 개선방향에 대한 여러 가지 방안을 제안한다. 우선 투기성향의 거래를 완화하기 위해서는 현재 외가격 위주로 거래되고 있는 코스피200옵션시장을 등가격 위주의 시장으로 유도할 필요성이 있다. 이를 위해 등가격 거래에 대한 거래수수료 할인 또는 면제, 등가격 종목에 대한 시장조성자제도 도입 등을 고려할 수 있다. 개인투자자 보호를 위해서는 전문투자자와 개인투자자에 대한 차등 규제, 기본예탁금 관리 강화, 위험관리 교육 및 모의거래 기회 확대 등을 시행 가능한 방안으로 제안하고자 한다.

  • 국내 성능위주소방설계(PBD)에 신뢰성이 향상된 예측결과를 기여하고자 판매시설 가연물 중 플라스틱으로만 이루어진 제품을 대상으로 실규모 화재실험이 수행되었다. 이때 판매시설의 경우 다양한 가연성 물질이 진열된 판매대의 간섭 또는 상품 적재 등으로 인한 화재확산의 검토를 위하여 단일 및 다수가연물로 분리되어 실험조건이 선정되었다. 이에 따라 최대 열 발생률에 따른 가연물의 노출 면적 및 중량은 대략 93%와 89%의 매우 선형적인 관계를 확인할 수 있다. 또한 다양한 가연물에 대한 가스농도의 분석 결과 이산화탄소($CO_2$)는 최대 열 발생률에 대하여 선형적인 관계를 나타내는 반면 일산화탄소(CO)는 지수함수의 형태를 나타낸다. 이러한 결과는 판매시설에서 발생되는 플라스틱 화재의 PBD에 신뢰성있는 화원정보로서 적용될 수 있다. 추후 실제 판매시설에서 적용되는 진열대의 면적이 적용된 추가적인 실험을 통하여 판매시설의 플라스틱 화재에 대표되는 화원 정보로서 적용할 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.

자란만 해역의 굴 양식어업 적정시설량 평가에 기초한 경제성 분석 (Economic Analysis based on Estimation of Optimal Facilities of Oyster Aquaculture in Jaran Bay)

  • Maintaining a certain level of fisheries production is due to the increase in aquaculture production. In recent years, aquaculture plays an important role in fishery production in Korea. Nevertheless, aquaculture should be carefully managed by regulations because it also causes environmental load which can threat sustainability of aquaculture. For this reason, Korean government has regulated density of culturing facilities with the Fisheries Law and its adjective decrees. The regulatory compliance of fisheries businesses is very low because the criteria for the regulation of the density were not enacted with scientific research. Thus, this research was aimed to obtain scientific criteria for the regulation of oyster aquaculture in Jaran Bay with economic assessment. For this research, we collected the data necessary for the assessment on five investigation points in the bay for two years. With the data, simulation for the growth rate of oyster was performed and the result showed that at least 25.5% of facilities should be reduced. Also, it was revealed that removing 2 long lines would be most beneficial. The NPV of the best measurement was 35,120,300 won and IRR was 11.7%. With this research, the government will gain more accurate regulatory compliance due to the scientific approach. Moreover, fisheries businesses in oyster aquaculture can obtain flexibility to cope with market fluctuation.

종양 이질성을 검정을 위한 통계적 방법론 연구 (Statistical methods for testing tumor heterogeneity)

  • 전이성 종양의 성장패턴 차이와 변화율에 따른 종양 이질성(tumor heterogeneity)을 파악하는 것은 종양세포의 약물에 대한 민감성을 파악하고 적절한 치료법을 찾아내기 위해 중요하다. 일반적으로 N개의 표본의 집단이 구분된다면 t-test 혹은 ANOVA 분석을 통해 집단별 평균의 차이에 대한 검정이 가능하다. 그러나 본 논문에서 다루는 데이터와 같이 집단이 구분되지 않는 경우 이러한 방법들은 사용될 수 없다. 표본들 사이의 이질성을 검정하기 위한 통계적 방법들이 연구되어 왔다. 최소 조합 t-검정 방법은 그 중 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 상이한 비율로 데이터를 양분하는 조합도 고려하는 최대 조합 t-검정 방법을 제안한다. 한편, 표본의 이질성을 검정하는 것이 군집분석에서 최적의 군집의 개수가 2개 이상인지를 검정하는 것과 같음에 착안하여 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 최대 조합 t-검정과 gap통계량을 이용하면 이전에 제안된 방법보다 개선된 제1종의 오류를 범할 확률과 검정력을 갖는다는 것을 모의실험을 통해 확인하였고 실제 자료 분석을 통해 결과를 도출하였다.

  • 식물의 생리적 과정과 환경 요인 간 상호작용에 바탕을 둔 프로세스 모형은 작물 생육 및 생산성 예측을 위한 좋은 도구이다. 탄소 획득과 바이오매스 증가는 프로세스 모형 개발의 주요 구성요소로서, 작물모형 내에서 광합성 과정의 이해 및 통합에 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 연구는 1980년 Farquhar 등에 의해 제안된 C3 식물 잎의 광합성 모델인 FvCB 모형의 양파에 대한 적용 가능성 평가 및 적합한 모수 추정을 목표로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 온도구배하우스에서 재배된 조생종 양파 품종인 '싱싱볼'과 '썬더볼'의 광합성 측정 결과를 바탕으로 Vcmax, Jmax, TPU 및 Rd 값을 추정하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 양파의 기체교환 모형은 다양한 환경 조건에서 양파의 광합성 반응 예측 및 설명에 유용하게 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

유도초음파를 활용한 격납건물 라이너 플레이트 상시감시 모니터링 검사를 위한 토모그래피 영상화 (Tomographic Imaging for Structural Health Monitoring Inspection of Containment Liner Plates using Guided Ultrasonic)

  • Large-scale industrial facility structures continue to deteriorate due to the effects of operating and environmental conditions. The problems of these industrial facilities are potentially causing economic losses, environmental pollution, casualties, and national losses. Accordingly, in order to prevent disaster accidents of large structures in advance, the necessity of diagnosing structures using non-destructive inspection techniques is being highlighted. The defect occurrence, location and defect type of the structure are important parameters for predicting the remaining life of the structure, so continuous defect observation is very important. Recently, many researchers have been actively researching real-time monitoring technology to solve these problems. Structure Health Monitoring Inspection is a technology that can identify and respond to the occurrence of defects in real time, but there is a limit to check the degree of defects and the direction of growth of defects. In order to compensate for the shortcomings of these technologies, the importance of defect imaging techniques is emerging, and in order to find defects in large structures, a method of inspecting a wide range using guided ultrasonic is effective. The work presented here introduces a calculation for the shape factor for evaluation of the damaged area, as well as a variable β parameter technique to correct a damaged shape. Also, we perform research in modeling simulation and an experiment for comparison with a suggested inspection method and verify its validity. The curved structure image obtained by the advanced RAPID algorithm showed a good match between the defect area and the shape.

Development of a novel fatigue damage model for Gaussian wide band stress responses using numerical approximation methods

  • A significant development has been made on a new fatigue damage model applicable to Gaussian wide band stress response spectra using numerical approximation methods such as data processing, time simulation, and regression analysis. So far, most of the alternative approximate models provide slightly underestimated or overestimated damage results compared with the rain-flow counting distribution. A more reliable approximate model that can minimize the damage differences between exact and approximate solutions is required for the practical design of ships and offshore structures. The present paper provides a detailed description of the development process of a new fatigue damage model. Based on the principle of the Gaussian wide band model, this study aims to develop the best approximate fatigue damage model. To obtain highly accurate damage distributions, this study deals with some prominent research findings, i.e., the moment of rain-flow range distribution MRR(n), the special bandwidth parameter μk, the empirical closed form model consisting of four probability density functions, and the correction factor QC. Sequential prerequisite data processes, such as creation of various stress spectra, extraction of stress time history, and the rain-flow counting stress process, are conducted so that these research findings provide much better results. Through comparison studies, the proposed model shows more reliable and accurate damage distributions, very close to those of the rain-flow counting solution. Several significant achievements and findings obtained from this study are suggested. Further work is needed to apply the new developed model to crack growth prediction under a random stress process in view of the engineering critical assessment of offshore structures. The present developed formulation and procedure also need to be extended to non-Gaussian wide band processes.

한반도 연근해를 대상으로 해양 먹이망 기반 3차원 생태모델 구축 연구 (Study on a Three-Dimensional Ecosystem Modeling Framework Based on Marine Food Web in the Korean Peninsula)

  • It is necessary to assess and manage the different elements of the marine ecosystem, such as climate change, habitat, primary and secondary production, energy flow, food web, potential yield, and fishing, to maintain the health of the ecosystem as well as support sustainable development of fishery. We set up an ecosystem model around the Korean peninsula to produce scientific predictions necessary for the assessment and management of marine ecosystems and presented the usability of the model with scenario experiments. We used the Atlantis ecosystem model based on the marine food web; Atlantis is a three-dimensional end-to-end model that includes the information and processes within an entire system, from an abiotic environment to human activity. We input the ecological and biological parameters, such as growth, mortality, spawning, recruitment, and migration, to the Atlantis model via functional groups using existing research and local measurements. During the simulation period (2018-2019), we confirmed that the model reproduced the observed data reasonably and reflected the actual ecosystem characteristics appropriately. We thus identified the usability of a marine ecosystem model with experiments on different environmental change scenarios.

다양한 지표모형을 활용한 토양수분 예측 성능 평가 연구 (A Study on Soil Moisture Estimates Performance Using Various Land Surface Models)

  • Soil moisture is significantly related to crop growth and plays an important role in irrigation management. To predict soil moisture, various process-based model has been developed and used in the world. Various models (Land surface model) may have different performance depending on the model parameters and structures that causes the different model output for the same modeling condition. In this study, the three land surface models (Noah Land Surface Model, Soil Water Atmosphere Plant, Community Land Model) were used to compare the model performance (soil moisture prediction) and develop the multi-model simulation. At first, the genetic algorithm was used to estimate the optimal soil parameters for each model, and the parameters were used to predict soil moisture in the study area. Then, we used the multi-model approach based on Bayesian model averaging (BMA). The results derived from this approach showed a better match to the measurements than the results from the original single land surface model. In addition, identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the single model and utilizing multi-model methods can help to increase the accuracy of soil moisture prediction.

Is the RCEP a Cornerstone or Just Collaboration? Regional General Equilibrium Model Based on GAMS

  • Purpose - This paper investigates the potential effect of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) on trade liberalization among member countries in order to answer key questions in our research on whether the RCEP will be a cornerstone or just collaboration. Furthermore, it aims to measure the likely magnitude of the economic impact it has on its members. Design/methodology - Toward achieving research objectives, we developed a regional CGE model based on the GTAP 9 database. Findings - The simulation results show Korea, Australia, India, and Japan ranked the top countries with an average growth in GDP of 0.38 %, 0.36%, 0.29%, and 0.23%, respectively. Moreover, China and New Zealand followed with a percentage of 0.12% each. The lower economic performing group is the ASEAN group due to a contraction in GDP by 0.13%. Accordingly, there was a positive impact of the RCEP agreement on all member states, as empirically demonstrated. Furthermore, Korea is one of the countries that will benefit most from joining this agreement. Finally, this agreement is important; it has many economic benefits to member states, but it is not a cornerstone. Originality/value - The examination of the quantitative effects of tariff removal among the RCEP's countries is its value. We will address all member countries of the convention simultaneously using a regional CGE model GAMS language, where we employed a Mathematical Programming System for General Equilibrium (MPSGE) to establish a Regional CGE model. This study is directed to policymakers looking at evaluating RCEP agreement.
