외식소비자의 라이프스타일에 따른 전통주 선택속성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Selection Attributes of Traditional Liquor by Life-style of Eating-out Consumers)

  • 본 연구는 전통주의 소비시장을 세분화하고 관련 산업에 시사점을 제안하고자 전통주를 음용하는 외식 소비자를 대상으로 그들의 라이프스타일과 전통주 선택속성을 측정하여 그 차이를 규명하고 전통주 선택속성 중에서 구매만족에 미치는 변수를 찾는데 있다. 조사대상은 서울의 대도시 상권에 소재한 민속주점을 이용하고 있는 20대 이상의 성인으로 하였으며, 조사기간은 2010년 8월 1일부터 9월 30일까지 수행하였다. 분석결과, 전통주와 관련된 외식소비자의 라이프스타일은 사회형, 마니아형, 지식추구형, 문외형으로 분류되었고, 전통주 라이프스타일에 따른 소비자 그룹은 군집분석에 의해 전문가, 애호가, 초보자, 무관심자로 구분되었다. 그리고 전통주 선택속성은 전통주의 특성요인, 맛과 향요인, 대중성요인, 조화요인, 관심 요인 등 총 6개 요인으로 나타났다. 검증결과, 외식소비자의 라이프스타일과 분류된 소비자의 그룹 간에는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 조사되었고, 전통주 선택속성과의 차이점에도 유의한 것으로 나타났으며 소비자의 그룹에 따른 전통주에 대한 선택속성에도 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 마지막으로 전통주 선택속성은 구매만족에 부분적으로 영향관계에 있는 것으로 조사되었으며, 이중 맛과 향, 대중성이 긍정적인 정(+)의 관계에 있는 것으로 나타났다.

Subcellular partitioning-dependent functional switching of Arabidopsis photoreceptor phytochrome B in response to brassinosteroids

  • Many organisms control their physiology and behavior in response to the local light environment, which is first perceived by photoreceptors that undergo light-dependent conformational changes. Phytochromes are one of the major photoreceptors in plants, controlling wide aspects of plant physiology by recognizing the light in red (R) and far-red (FR) spectra. Higher plants have two types of phytochromes; the photo-labile type I (phyA in Arabidopsis) and photo-stable type II (phyB-E in Arabidopsis). Phytochrome B (phyB), a member of the type II phytochromes in Arabidopsis, shows classical R and FR reversibility between the inter-convertible photoisomers, Pr and Pfr. Interestingly, the Pr and Pfr isomers show partitioning in the cytosol and nucleus, respectively. In the over 50 years since its discovery, it has been thought that the type II phytochromes only function to mediate R light. As described in the text, we have now discovered phyB has an active function in FR light. Even striking is that the R and FR light exert an opposite effect. Thus, FR light is not simply nullifying the R effect but has an opposing effect to R light. What is more interesting is that the phyB-mediated actions of FR and R light occur at different cellular compartment of the plant cell, cytosol and nucleus, respectively, which was proven through utilization of the cytosolic and nuclear-localized mutant versions of phyB. Our observations thus shoot down a major dogma in plant physiology and will be considered highly provocative in phytochrome function. We argue that it would make much more sense that plants utilize the two isoforms rather than only one form, to effectively monitor the changing environmental light information and to incorporate the information into their developmental programs.

T300/924C 탄소섬유/에폭시 복합재 적층판의 이차원 압축 강도의 크기효과 및 좌굴방지장치의 영향 (Two Dimensional Size Effect on the Compressive Strength of T300/924C Carbon/Epoxy Composite Plates Considering Influence of an Anti-buckling Device)

  • The two dimensional size effect of specimen gauge section (length x width) was investigated on the compressive behavior of a T300/924 [45/-45/0/90]3s, carbon fiber-epoxy laminate. A modified ICSTM compression test fixture was used together with an anti-buckling device to test 3mm thick specimens with a 30$\times$30, 50$\times$50, 70$\times$70, and 90mm$\times$90mm gauge length by width section. In all cases failure was sudden and occurred mainly within the gauge length. Post failure examination suggests that $0^{\circ}$ fiber microbuckling is the critical damage mechanism that causes final failure. This is the matrix dominated failure mode and its triggering depends very much on initial fiber waviness. It is suggested that manufacturing process and quality may play a significant role in determining the compressive strength. When the anti-buckling device was used on specimens, it was showed that the compressive strength with the device was slightly greater than that without the device due to surface friction between the specimen and the device by pretoque in bolts of the device. In the analysis result on influence of the anti-buckling device using the finite element method, it was found that the compressive strength with the anti-buckling device by loaded bolts was about 7% higher than actual compressive strength. Additionally, compressive tests on specimen with an open hole were performed. The local stress concentration arising from the hole dominates the strength of the laminate rather than the stresses in the bulk of the material. It is observed that the remote failure stress decreases with increasing hole size and specimen width but is generally well above the value one might predict from the elastic stress concentration factor. This suggests that the material is not ideally brittle and some stress relief occurs around the hole. X-ray radiography reveals that damage in the form of fiber microbuckling and delamination initiates at the edge of the hole at approximately 80% of the failure load and extends stably under increasing load before becoming unstable at a critical length of 2-3mm (depends on specimen geometry). This damage growth and failure are analysed by a linear cohesive zone model. Using the independently measured laminate parameters of unnotched compressive strength and in-plane fracture toughness the model predicts successfully the notched strength as a function of hole size and width.

탄소섬유 강화 복합재로 구성된 인라인 디스크 휠의 충격거동 평가 (Evaluation of the Impact Behavior of Inline Disk Wheel Made of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Composites)

  • 본 연구에서 다루는 탄소섬유 복합재 인라인 휠은 플라스틱 인라인 휠 허브의 기존 재질을 탄소섬유 직물/에폭시 수지로 구성된 디스크 형의 허브로 대체하는 것이다. 지면으로부터의 충격 하중은 탄소섬유 복합재 휠의 충격 성능 평가를 위해 저속 충격 시험이 수행되었고, 기존의 플라스틱 휠의 성능과 비교하여 수행되었다. 본 연구는 시험 조건으로 70 J의 충격 하중을 적용하였다. 충격 에너지는 타격 추의 높이와 무게를 조정하여 조절되었다. 탄소섬유 복합재 디스크 허브의 사용은 무게를 절감하고 실제 운행 조건과 유사한 조건인 낮은 충격에너지에서 우수한 반발력을 나타내는 것으로 확인되었다. 충격 하중에 따라 최대 하중은 비례적으로 증가하지만, 최대 하중의 성장은 20 J 충격 하중에서 감소되었고, 45 J 충격 하중에서부터 감소되는 경향의 결과를 보였다. 탄소섬유 복합재 휠은 5 J, 10 J의 충격 하중에서 전체 충격 에너지의 35.3, 19.1%가 리바운딩 되는 우수한 특성을 보였다. 반면에 20 J 이상의 충격하중에 대해서는 얇은 탄소섬유 복합재 허브의 크랙 생성으로 인해 전체 에너지의 5% 이하로 리바운드 되었다.

응집영역모델을 이용한 섬유금속적층판 접착층의 모드 I, II 파괴 거동 물성평가 (Evaluation of Fracture Behavior of Adhesive Layer in Fiber Metal Laminates using Cohesive Zone Models)

  • 섬유금속적층판과 같은 하이브리드 소재는 여러 방향의 하중에 의한 접착층의 파괴로 인해 층간분리가 발생할 수 있다. 모든 하중은 수직 방향의 응력과 면내 두 방향의 전단 응력으로 분해할 수 있으며, 이러한 하중은 접착층의 모드 I, II, III 파괴를 일으킨다. 따라서 하중에 의한 층간분리 현상을 예측하기 위해, 접착층의 모드별 임계 에너지 해방률을 도출하는 것이 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 접착층의 모드 I 임계 에너지 해방률을 측정하기 위해 double cantilever beam 시험을 수행하였으며, 모드 II 임계 에너지 해방률을 측정하기 위해 end-notched flexure 시험을 수행하였다. 또한, 실험으로부터 도출한 임계 에너지 해방률을 ABAQUS의 응집영역모델에 적용하여 유한요소해석을 수행하였으며, 실제 실험 결과와의 비교를 통해 층간분리 현상에 대한 수치해석 기법 적용의 유효성을 입증하였다.

복합영상관의 성능위주설계를 위한 가연물의 연소발열특성 연구: 객석의자의 열발생률 및 연소확산속도를 중심으로 (A Study on the Heat Release Characteristics of Fire Load for Performance Based Design of Multiplexes: A Focus on the Heat Release Rate and Fire Spread Rate of Cinema Seats)

  • 성능위주설계의 설계화원 정보는 피난안전성 평가에 직접적인 영향을 미치기 때문에, 실물화재 실험에 근거한 설계화원의 설정이 매우 중요하다. 복합영상관에 대한 성능위주설계의 신뢰성을 개선시키기 위하여, 상영관 의자에 대한 화재실험을 통해 열발생률과 화재확산속도 등의 화재거동에 관한 정보를 제공한다. 이를 위하여 실제 상영관과 유사하게 배열된 다수의 객석 의자가 적용되었다. 주요 결과로서, 객석의자 1개에 대하여 최대 열발생률과 단위 질량당 발열량은 각각 415~988 kW와 15.2~23.8 MJ/kg의 범위를 갖는다. 신형과 구형 객석의자의 평균 단위 질량당 발열량은 각각 23.6 MJ/kg과 16.7 MJ/kg으로 측정되었다. 즉, 신형의자의 증가된 플라스틱 및 쿠션재의 함량으로 인하여, 신형이 구형에 비해 화재위험성이 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 추가로 객석의자가 일렬로 배치될 때, 점화위치와 상관없이 0.39~0.42 m/min의 화재확산속도가 관찰되었다. 마지막으로 복합영상관의 성능위주설계를 위하여 객석의자의 최대 열발생률과 화재성장률로 구성된 화재성장곡선이 제안되었다.

Secretion and Expression of Matrix Metalloproteinase-2 and 9 from Bone Marrow Mononuclear Cells in Myelodysplastic Syndrome and Acute Myeloid Leukemia

  • Background: Matrix metalloproteinase -2 (gelatinase-A, Mr 72,000 type IV collagenase, MMP-2) and -9 (gelatinase-B, Mr 92,000 type IV collagenase, MMP-9) are key molecules that play roles in tumor growth, invasion, tissue remodeling, metastasis and stem-cell regulation by digesting extracellular matrix barriers. MMP-2 and -9 are well known to impact on solid cancer susceptibility, whereas, in hematological malignancies, a paucity of data is available to resolve the function of these regulatory molecules in bone marrow mononuclear cells (BM-MNCs) and stromal cells of myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Objectives: The present study aimed to investigate mRNA expression and gelatinase A and B secretion from BM-MNCs in vitro and genotypic associations of MMP-2 (-1306 C/T; rs243865), MMP-9 (-1562 C/T; rs3918242), tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase -1 (TIMP-1) (372T/C; rs4898, Exon 5) and TIMP-2 (-418G/C; rs8179090) in MDS and AML. Results: The study covered cases of confirmed MDS (n=50), AML (n=32) and healthy controls (n=110). MMP-9 mRNA expression revealed 2 fold increased expression in MDS-RAEB II and 2.5 fold in AML M-4 (60-70% blasts). Secretion of gelatinase-B also revealed the MMP-9 mRNA expression and ELISA data also supported these data. We noted that those patients having more blast crises presented with more secretion of MMP-9 and its mRNA expression. In contrast MMP-9 (-1562 C/T) showed significant polymorphic associations in MDS (p<0.02) and AML (p<0.02). MMP-9 mRNA expression of C/T and T/T genotypes were 1.5 and 2.5 fold increased in MDS and AML respectively. In AML, MMP-2 C/T and T/T genotypes showed 2.0 fold mRNA expression. Only MMP-9 (-1306 C/T) showed significant 4 fold (p<0.001) increased risk with chemical and x-ray exposed MDS, while tobacco and cigarette smokers have 3 fold (p<0.04) risk in AML. Conclusions: In view of our results, MMP-9 revealed synergistic secretion and expression in blast crises of MDS and AML with 'gene' polymorphic effects and is significantly associated with increased risk with tobacco, cigarette and environmental exposure. Release and secretion of these enzymes may influence hematopoietic cell behavior and may be important in the clinical point of view. It may offer valuable tools for diagnosis and prognosis, as well as possible targets for the treatments.

Expression of Transcription Factor FOXC2 in Cervical Cancer and Effects of Silencing on Cervical Cancer Cell Proliferation

  • Objective: Forkhead box C2 (FOXC2) is a member of the winged helix/forkhead box (Fox) family of transcription factors. It has been suggested to regulate tumor vasculature, growth, invasion and metastasis, although it has not been studied in cervical cancer. Here, we analyzed FOXC2 expression in cervical tissues corresponding to different stages of cervical cancer development and examined its correlation with clinicopathological characteristics. In addition, we examined the effects of targeting FOXC2 on the biological behavior of human cervical cancer cells. Methods: The expression of FOXC2 in normal human cervix, CIN I-III and cervical cancer was examined by immunohistochemistry and compared among the three groups and between cervical cancers with different pathological subtypes. Endogenous expression of FOXC2 was transiently knocked down in human Hela and SiHa cervical cells by siRNA, and cell viability and migration were examined by scratch and CCK8 assays, respectively. Results: In normal cervical tissue the frequency of positive staining was 25% (10/40 cases), with a staining intensity (PI) of $0.297{\pm}0.520$, in CIN was 65% (26/40cases), with a PI of $3.00{\pm}3.29$, and in cancer was 91.8% (68/74 cases), with a PI of $5.568 {\pm}3.449$. The frequency was 100% in adenocarcinoma (5/5 cases) and 91.3% in SCCs (63/69 cases). The FOXC2 positive expression rate was 88.5% in patients with cervical SCC stage I and 100% in stage II, showing significant differences compared with normal cervix and CIN. With age, pathologic differentiation degree and tumor size, FOXC2 expression showed no significant variation. On transient transfection of Hela and SiHa cells, FOXC2-siRNA inhibition rates were 76.2% and 75.7%; CCK8 results showed reduced proliferation and relative migration (in Hela cells from $64.5{\pm}3.16$ to $49.5{\pm}9.24$ and in SiHa cells from $60.1{\pm}3.05$ to $44.3{\pm}3.98$) (P < 0.05). Conclusion: FOXC2 gene expression increases with malignancy, especially with blood vessel hyperplasia and invasion degree. Targeted silencing was associated with reduced cell proliferation as well as invasion potential.

아버지의 영아 돌봄에 관한 문헌연구 (A Study of father's care giving in infancy)

  • These days social and economical changes have influence on the structure of family and the role of family members. Working mothers and widowers with children are increasing because of economical difficulties. Support from relatives are decreasing because of the conspicuous trend toward nuclear families. According to these reasons androgynous fathers are required. Today's fathers in Korea socially and culturally have learned about traditional parenting, but they are changing their fathering styles to meet the demands of the times. However they don't have their own fathering models. Therefore nurses who hold an advantageous position to teach and support from clinic have to encourage them to care their infants. The purposes of this study were to define father's care giving in infancy, understand influencing factors on fathering, and the differences between fathering and mothering, then contribute to nursing implementation for supporting fathers. This study was designed to review references about father's care giving. The results were follows: Six aspects of parent participation were direct care. indirect care, play, decision-making concerning the child, amount of time of sole responsibility for the child and overall availability to the child. Direct care involved feeding, bathing, going to child if child awakens. dressing, putting child to bed, taking child to doctor, nurse, or dentist, transporting child to and from sitter, day care, or school, washing child's hair. Indirect care involved cleaning up after child, preparing child's food, fixing child's broken playthings, washing child's clothes, arranging baby-sitting, shopping for child's toys and clothes, transporting baby-sitter to and from your home. Young fathers were gradually participating in direct care like feeding, taking child to doctor. Father's care giving stimulated mothering and promoted parent-infant relationship. Influencing factors of fathering would be divided into father characteristics, surrounding factors, infant attributes. Father characteristics were age, role perception, relationship with parent. Surrounding factors were the opportunity of early contact, support system, spouse's expectation, marital adjustment, feeding type, past experience of care giving. Infant attributes were temperament, behavior, age, sex. The differences between fathering and mothering were reviewed. Fathers were poor at care giving. but their caring was similar to mother's. This subtle difference positively worked upon infant's growth and development. On the basis of these theoretical data, nurses can empower fathers to cooperate with mothers in caring infants.

수력발전설비의 안전도 평가를 위한 수충격 해석 모형 개발 (Development of Water Hammer Simulation Model for Safety Assessment of Hydroelectric Power Plant)

  • 발전용 수력플랜트 분야는 기후변화 및 에너지 확보를 고려해 향후 지속적인 성장이 전망된다. 수력발전설비는 항상 수충격에 의한 위험에 노출되어 있고, 이에 대한 안정성 확보는 매우 중요하다. 수충격 현상은 밸브의 개도 조정이나 펌프와 터빈의 기동 및 정지 시 관로설비 전반에 걸쳐 발생하며, 예기치 못한 긴급 상황 시에는 더욱 현저하게 나타난다. 이와 같은 수충격에 대한 발전설비의 안정성 검토를 위해 본 연구에서는 수충격 발생 메커니즘을 반영된 특성선법을 적용한 수치해석기법(MOC-FDM: Method of Characteristic-Finite Dimensional Method, 이하 MOC-FDM)을 이용하여 전산수치 모형을 개발하였다. 개발모형은 발전설비의 주요시설인 저수지, 관로, 밸브, 펌프 등 경계조건을 반영하였고 가상시나리오 case를 적용하여 개발모형을 이용한 수치모의를 수행하였다. 개발모형 해석결과의 검증을 위해 발전설비의 주요 지점에서의 해석결과를 각각 제시하였다. 각 case 별 수충격 현상이 양호하게 재현되었으며, 상용모델의 수치해석결과와 비교분석 결과가 거의 유사하게 나타나 개발모형의 신뢰성을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 제시된 전산수치 모델은 수력발전설비의 운영 중 발생할 수 있는 비정상상태의 유체 거동을 정교하게 예측함으로써 설비의 안정성 검토를 위한 유용한 도구로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
