농업 기반시설의 내진성능 평가기법 - 동적 수치해석 중심으로- (Evaluation Technique of Seismic Performance on Agricultural Infrastructure - Based on Dynamic Numerical Analysis -)

  • The evaluation technique of seismic performance on agricultural infrastructure based on dynamic numerical simulations, which Included a cyclic elasto-plastic and a viscoelastic-viscoplastic constitutive model to actual multi-layered ground conditions during large earthquake were performed by a liquefaction analysis in the present study. From the liquefaction analysis, it was verified that the models can give a good description of the damping characteristics and liquefaction phenomena of ground accurately during large event which induces plastic deformation in large strain range.

  • Dynamic numerical analyses were performed to investigate the response of liquefaction remediation of rammed aggregate piers(RAP) on soft ground under free strain conditions. The safe factors of the soft ground reinforced by RAP during seismic loading of magnitude 6.5 were calculated. The results of simulation showed that factors of safety were affected various area replacement ratios, surcharge loads and depth of RAP systems.

  • A series of numerical simulations on the several types of breakwaters on the foundation systems utilizing buoyancy were carried out in plane-strain conditions using the modified Cam-Clay model and the Biot's consolidation theory. Improved foundation system by the replacement of original ground with light weighted material, expandable poly-styrene (called below EPS) and several foundation systems with buoyant cells were used. From the results of numerical simulations we found that the foundation systems utilizing buoyancy are efficient to reduce the maximum consolidation settlements without reducing lateral safety.

  • 한반도 상공의 오존층 및 대기층 참사를 임무로 하는 과학관측로케트(KSR-420s)는 비행중에 갖게되는 온도, 응력, 가속도, 압력, 자세, Ranging 등의 비행상태 정보와 오존층, 전리층, X-선등의 관측데이타를 지상으로 전송한다. 본 연구에서는 KSR-420s의 비행궤도를 추적하면서 전송되어 오는 신호를 수신 처리하기위한 텔레메트리 지상시스템을 설계하였다.

  • During the excavation of a tunnel portal, failure zones around the tunnel heading occur and also the ground supports itself. In a portal, its location and the ground characteristic have a great influence on the stability of the tunnel. Therefore, the failure mechanism of a tunnel heading and how to assess the stability of the tunnel are very important. In this paper, the numerical analyses were executed to evaluate the safety factor using strength reduction technique. The influence area of an excavation was also predicted through a case study in which no-support case and support case with the Pattern P-6 were compared in terms of the ground class and the shear strain.

지반굴착 시 Mohr-Coulomb 모델 적합성에 관한 수치해석적 분석 (A Study on the Suitability of the Mohr-Coulomb Model for Numerical Analysis of Ground Excavation)

  • 본 연구에서는 국내 지반굴착에 의한 지반거동 수치해석 평가 시 주로 사용되고 있는 Mohr-Coulomb 모델의 한계점을 분석하고, 실제 지반굴착 거동에 잘 부합되는 Hyperbolic 모델과 수치해석 결과를 비교하였다. 최근 국내에서 Mohr-Coulomb 모델 사용 시 지반굴착면이 실제보다 과다하게 융기되는 현상을 제어하기 위해서 특별한 경계조건을 임의대로 부과해서 해결하는 경향이 있다. 이러한 결과는 굴착면의 융기량의 크기만 제어할 뿐 지반거동이 실제와 왜곡되어 나타나는 문제점을 내포하고 있다. 본 연구에서 Hyperbolic 모델(Hardening Soil model)을 사용한 결과와 Mohr-Coulomb 모델을 사용한 결과를 비교하여, Hyperbolic 모델이 굴착 지반 융기량 및 실제 지반의 응력-변형거동에 더 잘 부합됨을 확인하였다. 지반굴착에 관한 수치해석 분석 시 Hyperbolic 모델을 사용하는 것이 실제 지반거동에 부합되는 결과를 얻을 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • 해안매립지와 같은 연약한 점토지반에 시공된 쇄석말뚝의 내진성능 평가를 위해 1g 진동대 실험을 수행하였다. 개량전 후 지반의 동적응답특성을 비교하기 위해 가속도 증폭 및 시간에 따른 전단변형, 전단파 속도 등을 평가하였다. 실험 결과, 쇄석말뚝으로 개량된 지반의 전단변형은 개량되지 않은 지반에 비해 감소되는 경향을 보이나, 단주기 지진파에는 더 높은 수준의 지반 가속도 증폭이 발생되는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 쇄석말뚝으로 개량된 지반의 내진성능 향상여부는 모형실험과 함께 지반응답해석 등의 수행하여 평가되어야 한다고 판단된다.

PRACTICAL MODELLING OF STONE-COLUMN REINFORCED GROUND

  • The acceleration of consolidation by stone columns was mostly analysed within the framework of a basic unit cell model (i.e. a cylindrical soil body around a column). A method of converting the axisymmetric unit cell into the equivalent plane-strain model would be required for two-dimensional numerical modelling of multi-column field applications. This paper proposes two practical simplified conversion methods to obtain the equivalent plane-strain model of the unit cell, and investigates their applicability to multi-column reinforced ground. In the first conversion method, the soil permeability is matched according to an analytical equation, whereas in the second method, the column width is matched based on the equivalence of column area. The validity of these methods is tested by comparison with the numerical results of unit-cell simulations and with the field data from an embankment case history. The results show that for the case of linear-elastic material modelling, both methods produce reasonably accurate long-term consolidation settlements, whereas for the case of elasto-plastic material modelling, the second method is preferable as the first one gives erroneously lower long-term settlements, where plastic yielding of stone column are ignored.

연약지반상에 축조된 농업용저수지의 과잉공극수압 예측과 압밀계수의 비교 (Comparison of Coefficient of Consolidation and Prediction of Excess Pore Water Pressure of Agricultural Reservoir under Embankment on Soft Ground)

  • This study was carried out to comparison of coefficient of consolidation and the prediction of excess pore water pressure in agricultural reservoir on soft clay ground. For the purpose of verification of the proposed equation, laboratory model tests and field tests were performed and excess pore water pressure was compared to those predicted with the Terzaghi's method. The predicted excess pore water pressure according to ponding was very applicable to practice because it was close to the observed data. Also, for the comparison of coefficient of consolidation, the oedometer, constant rate of strain (CRS), and Rowe cell tests were performed. The coefficient of consolidation at the Rowe cell and CRS tests showed a greate increase than in the oedometer test. The ratio of the vertical and horizontal coefficient of consolidation showed a large difference according to various tests method and mixing ratio. Therefore, it is recommended that careful attention should be paid to predicting the required consolidation period in agricultural reservoir.

  • 모래다짐말뚝은 압밀침하촉진과 지지력향상을 도모할 수 있는 연약지반 개량공법으로 그 사용성이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실내시험과 3-D 유한요소해석을 수행하여 $30-40\%$의 저치환율 모래다짐말뚝의 하중전이특성을 고찰해본다. 또한, 이러한 연구결과는 실험치와의 검증을 통하여 모래다짐말뚝 하중전이특성평가를 위한 간편법을 제시하는데 사용되었다.
