Interrelationship research between difference of VAS and lesion area in Sono-Graphic after physical therapy of tendinitis. - Supraspinatus tendinitis, Lateral epicondylitis, Achilles tendinitis - (건염의 물리치료 후 VAS의 변화와 초음파 영상소견상의 면적 변화에 대한 상관성 연구 - 극상근 건염, 외측상과염, 아킬레스건염을 중심으로 -)

  • Purpose : The patients who have Supraspinatus tendinitis, Lateral epicondylitis, Achilles tendinitis are our targets, so we want to know their opinions in order to take Sono-graphic tests and to study utility value of Sono-graphic. Object and Methods : The case of 30 patients with Tendinitis results, we classified with three categories, Supraspinatus tendinitis, Lateral epicondylitis and Achilles tendinitis. Case by case, before medical treatment, we executed the inspections which are Sound side and Affected side. After 4 weeks of medical treatment, we executed the inspection which is Sono-graphic. Objectively comparing with Sono-graphic, we measured VAS(Visual Analog Scale) before and after physical therapy. Results : We could learn that VAS (Visual Analog Scale) and Sono-graphic wore decreased about changing the lesion area of each disease. For example, Supraspinatus tendinitis is from case 1 and case 2, Lateral epicondylitis is from case 8, case 9 and case 10, Achilles tendinitis is from case 16, case 17 and case 18. Conclusion : About organization of complicated anatomy, we could learn general ideas about Supraspinatus tendinitis, Lateral epicondylitis, Achilles tendinitis. And finally the results which appeared between the decrements of VAS and Sono-graphic are similar.

  • As the Internet appliances like digital TV, Internet set-top boxes, and Internet phone, are showing up in the market, the economics of real-time operating system (RTOS), which is an essential for controlling those devices, is expanding faster than ever before. ETRI has developed describes RTOS called Qplus-P, targeting various platforms ranging from PDA to Internet set-top box and home server. This paper describes the implementation of graphic window library for Qplus-P. The Qplus-P graphic window library was implemented using tiny-X graphic server and gtk graphic toolkit, which are open source software. To port this library to various aliances, hangul processing, screen rotation, touch screen, and graphic acceleration functions are added to the tiny-X graphic server of the implementd graphic window library. Currently, Qplus-P graphic window is running on ARM-based appliances such as iPaq PDA, Samsung S3C2400 board, Zaurus PDA, and on Home Server that uses x86 processor. Qplus-P graphic library is provided as a of Qplus-P target builder.

Aesthetic Characteristics of Graphic Factor in Contemporary Fashion Design Categorized by Media Source -Focusing on Play-Instinct Visual Expression- (현대 패션 디자인의 그래픽 요소에 나타난 매개 소스별 미적 특성 -유희본능적 시각 표현을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose for this paper is to categorize and analyze the aesthetic characteristics of graphic factors in contemporary fashion design by media source. Focused on play-instinct visual expression in contemporary fashion design and adopted media source following the way of communication design. A variety of literatures and online sites for graphic factors in contemporary fashion was studied. The standard of media source is classified as graphic media-source: photography media-source, typography media-source, illustration media-source. With this standard, expressed ways are as followings. First, graphic media-source in play-instinct expressional fashion design is mostly borrowing existed character or using designer's brand logo. Second, photography media-source in play-instinct expressional fashion design is placed photograph of social issued people in front of shirt. Third, typography media-source in play-instinct expressional contemporary fashion design is mostly expressed social messages or designer's name in brand. Fourth, illustration media-source is the best way to express play-instinct visual expression. Based on these, aesthetic characteristics of graphic factor in contemporary fashion by media source are classified as three: social words, playfulness and information transference. Frequency ratio using media source per aesthetic characteristics is different and these are able to categorize expression way and image feature. In conclusion, expressional way of graphic factors in contemporary fashion design became diverse as social and cultural changing. Frequency of graphic factor use in contemporary fashion is increased than before. This paper suggested that fashion design is one of the way of communicating with people and should be analyzed graphic factors in contemporary fashion design.

The Design of Reliable Graphics-DTV Signal Converter Using EDAC Algorithm in DTV System

  • In the integrated systems, that is integrated digital TV(DTV) internet and home automation, like home server, is needed integration of digital TV video signal and computer graphic signal. The graphic signal is operating at the high speed and has time-divide-stream. So the re-request of data is not easy at the time of error detection. therefore EDAC algorithm is efficient. In this paper, we show a scheme, that is integration of graphic and dtv format signal for DTV monitor display. This paper also presents the efficiency error detection auto correction(EDAC) for conversion of graphics signal to DTV video signal. A presented EDAC algorithms use the modified hamming code for enhancing video quality and reliability. A EDAC algorithm of this paper can detect single error, double error, triple error and more error for preventing from incorrect correction. And it is not necessary an additional memory. In this paper The comparison between digital TV video signal and graphic signal, a EDAC algorithm and a design of conversion graphic signal to DTV signal with EDAC function in DTV system is described.

  • Environmentally friendly, stencil and screen printing for cost-effective for maskless. In this study, UV -LED light source for the dispersion characteristics and high competence photoresist coating was prepared.
