It is proposed a new compensation method in the rotor time constant of indirect vector controlled induction motor. The proposed scheme is an on-line method using the stator current error that is the difference between current command and estimated current calculated from terminal voltages and currents. As the current error becomes to zero, the rotor time constant in the vector controller approaches the real value. The proposed method shows good performances in the transient region as well as in the steady state region regardless of load torque variation, and it is verified by the computer simulation using SIMULINK in Matlab.

This paper presents a new method for world wide network motor controlled system. It uses disturbance observer to present high precision position control algorithm to disturbance change, and to apply this to induction motors. It shows that proposed algorithm is strong in induction motor precision control for disturbance change. This system with disturbance observer used deadbeat control, which have high benefit, is good for quick disturbance compensation. To show these effectiveness the whole process is simulated by simulink, and also experimented by DSP6416 with TCP-IP network board.

In this industrial induction motor speed and torque controlled drive system, the closed loop control usually requires the measurement of speed or position of amotor. However a sensorless drive of an induction motor has several advantages ; low cost and mechanical simplicity. Thus this paper investigates a field oriented control method without speed and flux sensors. The proposed control strategy is based on the Model Reference Adaptive System(MRAS) using a new flux estimator which replaces integrators with two lag circuits as the reference model. This algorithm may overcome several shortages of conventional MRAS such as integrator problems, small EMF at low speed. The simulation and experimental results indicate good speed responses.

In this paper, the sliding mode variable structure-fuzzy(SMVS-F) control algorithm is applied to speed controller for field oriented induction motor drive system. According to the principle of sliding mode variable structure-fuzzy adjustable speed control scheme, the proposed algorithm shows good performances which are reducing chattering, robustness against parameter variation in induction motor drive. The validity of the proposed control scheme is verified by computer simulation using SIMULINK.
This paper proposes a speed-sensorless induction motor control system using the rotor flux error. The rotor flux observer uses the reduced- dimensional state estimator technique instead of directly measuring the rotor flux. The estimated rotor speed is obtained directly from the electrical frequency, the slip frequency, and the rotor speed compensation with the estimated q-axis rotor flux. To precisely estimate the rotor flux, the actual value of the stator resistance, whose actual variation is reflected, is derived. For fast calculation and improved performance of the proposed algorithm, all control functions are implemented in software using a digital signal processor (DSP) with its environmental circuits. Also, it is shown through experimental results that the proposed system gives good performance for the speed-sensorless induction motor control.
This paper presents an extended state observer (ESO) based direct torque control (DTC) for use in induction motor systems to handle the issues of time delays, load torque disturbances and parameter uncertainties. Direct torque control offers an excellent torque response and it does not require a proportion integration (PI) controller in the current loop. However, a PI controller is still adopted in the outer speed loop to generate the torque reference value, which is a slow method. An ESO based compound control scheme is proposed to improve the response rate and accuracy of the torque reference signal, especially when load torque is injected. In addition, the time delay problem is analyzed and compensated for in this paper to reduce torque ripples. The proposed disturbance compensation technique based direct control scheme is shown to have good performance both in the transient and stable states via simulations and experimental results.

The paper presents the fuzzy control technique to adjust the gain schedule in the fuzzy controller. The micro computer is designed to the fuzzy controller to execute the proportional gain with the data of the error and speed command. The gain schedule is the fuzzy set which execute based on the fuzzy rule. The gain schedule from the fuzzy controller is fed to the sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) inverter for control the response and speed of the induction motor. The induction motor coupling to the DC motor and tachogenerator which DC motor as a load. The test result of the fuzzy control technique in the open loop control, it provides a good response and in the closed loop control it can control speed in the any condition of load design

The lubricant impregnated MC nylon has good frictional properties, but its mechanical strength is inferior to steel for the mechanical elements. For the tribological application Nylon as gears, sliding bearings, cam and etc, the steel shafts are fitted in pre-heated nylon cylinder by a process of interference expansion fit and bonded by induction heating method. The joint shear strength of the two materials was measured by a universal test machine. From the study, the adhesive shear strength between these two materials was affected by the factors of the interference between nylon and steel, the size of nylon cylinder, knurl of steel shaft and inducting heating conditions. The most effective jointing conditions were analyzed and decided for the practical application in the industry.

This paper based on spiral vector, three phase induction motor is described a detailed modeling by a phase segment methode. Based on this model, A torque control and the equation of regenerative power for the induction motor drive, based on the field acceleration method(FAM), is presented. The speed control system is designed to be applied voltage source inverters that is easy the current type feedback of power regeneration for motor drive. The ability of shaving power to be measured power regeneration has been investigated in speed acceleration and reduction. And it is change of stator resistance that the voltage commands include error, the ripple of exited voltage and torque occur from the results. The experimental tests verify the performance of the proposed regenerative drive for FAM, proving that good behavior of the drive is achieved in the transient and steady-state operating conditions.

In this paper, an auto detection method of stator winding fault of small induction motor is suggested. The Park's vector pattern which is obtained from 3-phase current signal by d-q transforming, is very good to detect winding fault. Comparing the Park's vector pattern of testing motor with its of healthy motor, the Park's vector pattern of fault motor is became an ellipse and the asymmetry is increased by the winding fault series. So for detecting the dis-symmetry, id-filtered function, Min-value, and Max-value are suggested for auto detecting. Using LabVIEW programing, 3-phase healthy motor and several kind of winding fault motors are tested and the test results are shown that the suggested method can gives us a possibility of an auto detecting winding fault.
