The notion of green growth emerged in 2009. Since then, policy makers and practitioners have largely adopted the term. Although rather intermittently, there have been academic observations on green growth, with the term often being cited as a paradigm and a policy guide for generating new sources of growth. The most important reasons for the surge in green growth today as a new trend and an international agenda item are the rather unsatisfactory results and pitfalls of sustainable development, which has failed at promoting a tangible international environmental principle or a concrete policy framework. Green growth has been proposed as an alternative simultaneously to foster the dynamics of global environmental governance and to reinvigorate the world economy. This study examines to what extent green growth plays a complementary role in existing global environmental governance. Available evidence provides reasonable grounds for arguing that a positive outcome may well be expected from the evolution of green growth architecture and followed by practical policies. It became a global agenda out of a few influential national governments' control. However, decision makers in the leading countries, both developed and developing must be willing to continue implementing what has been discussed and agreed thus far, beyond changes in political leadership and administrations.

Whilst it is clear that increasing temperatures from global environmental change will impact the positions of alpine treelines, it is likely that a range of regional and local scaled factors will mediate the overall impact of global scale climate drivers. We summarized 12 categories of abiotic and biotic factors as 4 groups determining treeline positions. First, there are global factors related to climate-induced growth limitation and carbon limitation. Second, there are seven regional and local factors related to treeline dynamics including frost stress, topography, water stress, snow, wind, fire and non-fire disturbance. Third, species-specific factors can control treeline dynamics through their influence on reproduction and life history traits. Fourth, there are positive feedbacks in structuring the dynamics of treelines. Globally, the commonly accepted growth limitation hypothesis is that growth at a treeline is limited by temperature. Meanwhile, positive feedbacks between canopy cover and tree establishment are likely to control the spatial pattern and temporal dynamics of many treelines. The presence of non-linear dynamics at treelines has implications for the use of treelines as barometers of climate change because the lagged responses and abrupt shifts inherent in non-equilibrium systems may combine to mask the overall climate trend.

The development of informatization impacts all sectors, including agriculture. Agricultural informatization builds the knowledge linkage structures of agricultural innovation systems globally. This study investigated the global knowledge linkage structures in agricultural innovation pertinent to information technology (IT) for agricultural research and development (R&D) investments and activities. We explored the longitudinal trend of systemness within the networked research relationships in the triple helix (TH) of the university, industry and government (UIG). We collected data from publications in the Science Citation Index (SCI), the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), and the Arts and Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI) to analyze the TH network dynamics. We also performed a scientometrics analysis to quantitatively identify the knowledge and insights of global agricultural innovation structures. These results could be informative for individual countries. Our findings reveal that the global knowledge linkage structures in the agricultural sector that are pertinent to IT fluctuate widely and fail to increase the capacity of agricultural innovation research due to a neglect of the network effects of the TH dynamics of UIG.

The purpose of this study is to establish the identity of Kangwon Land as an integrated resort and to suggest the future directions for sustainability. In addition, we will explore strategies for revitalizing the local economy and promoting local coexistence by diagnosing social awareness in order to coexist with the local economy. We examined the internal and external environment of Kangwon Land and investigated regional awareness and win-win strategies for Kangwon Land. Also, we analyzed various strategies and business activities that Kangwon Land is carrying out. In order for Kangwon Land to pursue sustainable growth as a global complex resort, it needs to establish (1) new trend management generating new demand that reflects global trends, (2) strategies to build regional tourism clusters, (3) a global network through global investment and partnership, (4) various CSR and regional cooperation strategies, and (5) CI(Corporate Image) improvement strategies.

정부는 전기차 보급 목표치 달성을 위해 인프라 확충, 보조금 지급 등 다방면에서 지원 정책을 펼치고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 정부의 전기차 정책이 부족하다는 인식에서 시작하여, 전기차 등록 대수 및 전기차 충전소 현황을 연도별로 비교하여 지원 정책이 유의미하게 작용했는지 파악하고, 정책의 방향성을 제시하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구를 위해 국가통계포털 및 서울시 데이터센터 등에서 받은 지역별/연도별 차량수, 지역별 전기차 충전소 현황, 지역별 전기차 보조금, 차량별 전기차 보조금 등의 데이터를 수식과 DB 메소드를 통해 가공하여 정부의 정책판단에 유의미한 영향을 줄 수 있는 데이터들을 산출해내었다. 이 연구는 전반적인 전기차 시장의 흐름을 파악하는 데에 효용가치가 높다고 사료된다. 과거와 현재의 데이터를 기반으로 하여, 현 상황을 분석하는 데에 그치지 않고, 이후의 상황에 대한 대략적인 이미지와 로드맵을 제시할 수 있었다.

최근 신 소비시장 트렌드에 관한 통계에 따르면 그 중심에 '나홀로 소비' 가 있다. 본 연구는 특정 사회적 트렌드는 그것에 대한 배경을 형성하고 있는 사회와 지역성, 문화, 경제, 심리 등 삶의 다양한 측면들을 통합적인 시각으로 해석하는 것이 중요하다는 측면에서, 수많은 대중의 의견이 수렴되는 신 소비시장 관련 리서치 데이터에서 추출한 '나홀로 소비' 연관어를 분석 키워드로 설정하였고, 분석솔루션 중 하나인 소셜메트릭스TM를 통한 오피니언 분석(Opinion Analisys) 기법을 활용하여 신 소비시장 트렌드에 관한 연구를 진행하였다. 신 소비시장 고찰결과 '혼밥', '혼술', '혼영'이라는 키워드가 도출되었고 이를 활용하여 신 소비시장 트렌드를 분석하였다. 나홀로 소비는 기존 소비자 트렌드 가운데 글로벌 경제위기 이후에 인구변화와 함께 야기된 필연적 새로운 소비 트렌드가 되었고 연관어에 따른 긍, 부정 감정분석의 결과도 대체로 긍정적인 데이터 결과를 확인할 수 있었으며, 이 소비 트렌드는 시대를 반영하는 새로운 트렌드로서의 중요성이 더욱 강화될 것이다. 향후 소셜 빅데이터에 의한 트렌드 분석이 본 연구보다 다양한 분석 도구를 통해 실행된다면 신 소비시장에 관한 새롭고 가치 있는 유통전략 및 기획에 도움이 될 것이다.

The ozone concentration measured by HALOE (Ver 19) from Oct. 1991 to Dec. 2003 is used for analyzing the variation of ozone concentration. The HALOE loaded in UARS is observing several gases in the atmosphere, from 10km to 80km. Fourier analysis of these data in the middle latitude northern hemisphere is reported in this paper. To detect any possible long term trends, the fourier transformed time series was back transformed after removing signals with time periods of less than 6 months. Although the results clearly show the strong annual cycle, it is difficult to show any long term trends from the fourier series. We also compared the ozone volume mixing ratio's from HALOE with that from the ground-based radiometry to evaluate the accuracy of microwave observation at Sookmyung Women's University.

Historically, the name and scopes of Agricultural Engineering have changed considerably affected by many factors including global trend of Agricultural Engineering. There were times when this education program became unpopular but then again regained in the aftermath of economic crises. The afterward national policy has given big opportunity to resources based developments. Even though agriculture has shown its capability in maintaining local community to support their lives during the time of crises, the global markets have become the real threats. The challenge of Indonesian Agricultural Engineers now is how to produce agricultural commodities in any kind of forms but cheaper than the international price. Agricultural Engineering Education has to find a proper role of contribution to solve these problems. And, the education system of Agricultural Engineering itself has to be upgraded to some extend to anticipate changes of the global trends.

The rapid expansion of regionalism has resulted in the creation of blocs of the global economy, so that those countries not belonging to one or more blocs can be discriminated. The purpose of this paper is to examine the competition policy theoretically, international background with issues, and discussion trend of global enterprise. By doing them, this paper suggests the responsive plan, future prospects, and policy directions for the competition policy by distribution service. There is not a statistically significant relationship between international diversification strategy and firm performance. However, we observed some tendency that the larger the firm size, the higher the firm performance, assuming the degree of international diversification or multinationality to be constant. However, the export productivity increase after 1~2 years, and there exits a clear evidence that the innovation investment increases a firm's export competitiveness as time goes on.

Recently, there has been rapid and spectacular increase in world wide counterfeiting and other forms of piracy. According to the World Customs Organization(WCO), counterfeiting accounts for 5 to 7 percent of global merchandise trade, equivalent to lost sales of as much as US$512 billion last year. Also Korean firms' damages arising from the infringement of intellectual property rights in global markets, especially in China market, are increasing. However, the existing studies on the intellectual property rights(IRP) protection have mainly focused on legal protection. Because the law is often not the best defense against theft of intellectual property rights, we must develop more effective defensive weapons for protection of IRP. Given this troublesome trend, the intention of this paper is to discuss strategic and tactical efforts, including legal protection, that can serve as proactive measures to deter counterfeiting and thus to assure the protection of Korean firms' intellectual property rights.
