In the process of global transportation, many value chains which have different business process, system and technology level respectively are connected to each other. To obtain end-to-end visibility of transportation, these kind of discrepancy has to be solved appropriately. In this paper, the realization of global visibility is discussed in three point of view such as 'Data Sourcing', 'System integration' and 'System Operation'. First, the data sources of global visibility are described especially from the point of enterprise applications view, and then system integration is presented using various current e-commerce technologies for example XML, EDI and so on. Finally, flexible operation of visibility function is suggested which satisfies different goals of each value chain.

The purpose of this study is to show the relation of the change between spacial structure and social conditions of rural area. The spacial structure change of Asan city was analyzed using Space Syntax, and multiple regression analysis (dependent variables: connectivity, global integration, local integration / independent variables: population, household, farm population, farm population of 65years old and over, farm household, part-time farm households, cultivated land) was accomplished. As th result, that the increase of connectivity is related to the increase of population and farm population of 65years old and over and the decrease of farm population, and the increase of local integration is related to the increase of farm population of 65years old and over was showed. However, that global integration is not related to change of social conditions was proved.

인터넷과 통신기술의 발전으로 온라인 정보소스와 정보사용자의 수가 증가되었다. 이것은 정보시스템간 특히 데이터베이스간의 통합을 요구한다. 데이터베이스간 통합에 대한 연구는 오래 전부터 시작되었고, 많은 결과들이 발표되고 있다. 기존의 데이터베이스간 통합 방법은 일반적으로 전역데이터모델(Global Data Model)을 제공해야하며, 전역스키마(Global Schema) 작성, 전역스키마와 지역스키마간 번역과 같은 복잡한 작업들을 필요로 한다. 이는 최종 사용자에게 다양한 질의(정보)와 이질적인 지역 데이터베이스들에 대한 단일접근방법을 제공하기 위함이다. 하지만 데이터베이스간 통합이 요구되는 영역에서 필요한 정보만 제공해 준다면 다양한 질의를 제공하기 위한 기존 정보통합시스템들의 요구사항은 오버헤드로 작용한다. 본 논문은 데이터베이스간 통합 시 필요한 정보를 기반으로 데이터베이스간 통합을 하는 I2system(Information Integration System)을 제안한다. 이는 기존의 정보통합방법의 오버헤드를 줄이며, 단순하고 확장성 있는 데이터베이스간 통합을 제공한다.

Financial integration is a phenomenon in which global financial markets are closely connected with each other. This article investigates the integration of Korean stock market with other stock markets using a multivariate GARCH analysis. We chose total seven countries including Korea for this paper based on the amount of export and then we chose major stock indices which can be thought as representative stock markets of those countries. The empirical analysis has shown that countries' financial integration.

The objective of this study is to examine Korean fisheries' globalization level. For that, this paper discusses structural changes of world fisheries and level of korean fisheries' globalization. Fisheries' globalization is measured by comparison of IIT(intra-industry trade) and LIT(level of international trade) on eleven countries(Netherland, UK., USA, France, Japan, Spain, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Philipinnes). And analysis data are obtained from UN-UNCTAD PC-TAS and FAO Fishstat. As a result of measure of fisheries' globalization, Netherland is the most globalization country of eleven countries. And the next order is Spain, UK, France, Thailand, Taiwan etc. We can classify these countries into four types. Type I is 'International linkage and integration global indutstry' inculding Netherland, UK, Spain, France. Type II is 'Interantional integration global industry' including Taiwan and S. korea. Type III is 'international linkage global industry' including none of eleven countries. Finally, type IV is 'domestic demand and self-sufficient industry'including Thailand, USA, Japan. So we can name the type of korean fisheries' globalization as 'interantional integration global industry'. Usually this type is evaluated that level of international trade is not high but level of intra-industry trade is high. As a result, from now, we should consider policy directions of korean fisheries whether to decide one of four types or not.

This article aims to explore the interactive roles of types of primed identity (local versus global identity) and types of ad framing on brand evaluations. The authors designed 2 experiments in which each experiment followed a $2{\times}2$ between-subject design. The empirical results showed that a gain-framed ad induced more positive emotional responses than a loss-framed ad, and the positive affective responses lead to more favorable brand evaluation. Furthermore, the results showed that there were interactive effects of primed identity and types of advertisement frame on brand evaluation. In the additional analysis, the results showed that when people with local identity were exposed to the gain-framed ad, they would engage in a higher level of integration processing than those in the control group, which in turn induced more favorable evaluation to the local brand. That is, the integration processing mode played a mediating role between the interaction (local id priming ${\times}$ ad frame) and the local brand evaluation. However, in the case of global brand evaluation, the integration processing mode did not play such a mediating role.

The features extracted by convolutional neural networks are more descriptive of images than traditional features, and their convolutional layers are more suitable for retrieving images than are fully connected layers. The convolutional layer features will consume considerable time and memory if used directly to match an image. Therefore, this paper proposes a feature weighting and region integration method for convolutional layer features to form global feature vectors and subsequently use them for image matching. First, the 3D feature of the last convolutional layer is extracted, and the convolutional feature is subsequently weighted again to highlight the edge information and position information of the image. Next, we integrate several regional eigenvectors that are processed by sliding windows into a global eigenvector. Finally, the initial ranking of the retrieval is obtained by measuring the similarity of the query image and the test image using the cosine distance, and the final mean Average Precision (mAP) is obtained by using the extended query method for rearrangement. We conduct experiments using the Oxford5k and Paris6k datasets and their extended datasets, Paris106k and Oxford105k. These experimental results indicate that the global feature extracted by the new method can better describe an image.

The satellite networks provide global coverage. The integration of terrestrial networks with a satellite network is the most attractive approach to develop a global communication system. The IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is intended to be the system that will merge the internet with the telecom world. A user with a dual-mode terminal can access both the satellite network and terrestrial network. The seamless handoff between two networks and a user's QoS level is the major issue concerning this integration. In this paper, we propose IMS-based satellite/terrestrial integrated network architecture for a global communication system. Based on the proposed architecture, an inter-network handoff and end-to-end soft QoS procedure is discussed. Our proposed soft QoS scheme is also analyzed to calculate the number of rejected calls.

Understanding 3D structure of scenes is of a great interest in various vision-related tasks. In this paper, we present a unified approach for estimating depth from a single monocular image. The key idea of our approach is to take advantages both of parametric learning and non-parametric sampling method. Using a parametric convolutional network, our approach learns the relation of various monocular cues, which make a coarse global prediction. We also leverage the local prediction to refine the global prediction. It is practically estimated in a non-parametric framework. The integration of local and global predictions is accomplished by concatenating the feature maps of the global prediction with those from local ones. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms state-of-the-art methods both qualitatively and quantitatively.

Retroviruses have often been used for gene therapy because of their capacity for the long-term expression of transgenes via stable integration into the host genome. However, retroviral integration can also result in the transformation of normal cells into cancer cells, as demonstrated by the incidence of leukemia in a recent retroviral gene therapy trial in Europe. This unfortunate outcome has led to the rapid initiation of studies examining various biological and pathological aspects of retroviral integration. This review summarizes recent findings from these studies, including the global integration patterns of various types of retroviruses, viral and cellular determinants of integration, implications of integration for gene therapy and retrovirus-mediated infectious diseases, and strategies to shift integration to safe host genomic loci. A more comprehensive and mechanistic understanding of retroviral integration processes will eventually make it possible to generate safer retroviral vector platforms in the near future.
