Random reference wave can be used to enhance selectivity and storage density of holograms. Hologram recording schemes with random reference waves generated by using a ground glass or various types of optical fibers are discussed. The random reference waves are also suitable for hybrid multiplexing methods.

In this research, the optimal grinding condition has been obtained by design of experiment (DOE) fur the development of aspheric lens for the 3 Mega Pixel, 2.5x optical zoom camera-phone module. Also, the tungsten carbide (WC) mold was processed by the method of ultra precision grinding under this optimal grinding condition. The influence of diamond-liked carbon (DLC) coating on form accuracy (PV) and surface roughness (Ra) of the mold was evaluated through measurements after DCL coating using ion plating on the ground mold. Also, aspheric glass lenses were molded, some before DLC coating of the mold and some after the DLC coating. The optical characteristics of each sample, molded by the different molds, were compared with each other.

Recently, the exhaustion of resource and environmental damage is serious due to the global warming because of the CO2 exhaust and each type the natural aggregate picking described below. meanwhile, The rest is the actual condition gone to the dumping ground that there is nearly no use which the waste glass can recycle and it is recycled. This research applied the waste glass as the cement substitute material the inorganic binder and coares aggregate substitute material. It utilizes the substitute material of the cement according to it and natural aggregate and tries to develop the environment-friendly artificial stone. The inorganic binder used the blast furnace slag, red mud, and fly ash. The straight type steel fiber, PVA fiber, PA fiber, and cellulosic fiber were used with a kind of fiber. As to the experimental item according to it, the compressive strength is the flexural strength and compressive strength.

A pheochromocytoma is a neuroectodermal tumor that originates from the chromaffin cells of the sympathetic system. Typical symptoms or signs are periodic attacks of paroxysmal hypertension, spell, palpitation, headache and sweating. However, the clinical presentation is quite variable. Therefore, an atypical clinical presentation sometimes makes a diagnosis difficult. Hemoptysis as a presenting symptom is very rare in pheochromocytoma. We recently experienced a patient with diffuse alveolar hemorrhage due to pheochromocytoma. A chest PA showed diffuse consolidation and ground glass opacities in both lungs. A chest CT showed diffuse consolidation and ground glass opacities in the central, middle and lower portion predominance of the lungs, sparing the costophrenic angles and apices of the lungs. In Korea, a case of pheochromocytoma that presented initially as massive hemoptysis due to diffuse alveolar hemorrhage has not been previously reported. We report the case with a review of the literature.
Miliary Tuberculosis is an illness produced by acute dissemination of tubercle bacilli via the blood stream. In chest roentgenogram, a diffuse "miliary" infiltrates are usually seen, but normal or suspicious ground glass pattern also can be seen in early manifestation. Ten patients of miliary tuberculosis who underwent whole-body $^{67}Ga-citrate$ scintigraphy were evaluated retrospectively to study usefulness of Ga-scan for early diagnosis of miliary Tbc and evaluation of disease activity. All of ten patients demonstrated significantly diffuse bilateral pulmonary uptakes on 48 hours image. All of three patients of ground-glass pattern in chest roentgemogram also demonstrated increased uptakes. In the statistical analysis, the severity of chest roentgenographic findings showed positive correlation with the activity on Ga?scan. These results suggest that Gallium scan is useful for diagnosis of early miliary tuberculosis and for evaluation of disease activity on follow-up examination of miliary tuberculosis of lung.
Hemoptysis is a major reason for emergency department (ED) visits. Catamenial hemoptysis (CH), a rare condition of thoracic endometriosis, can cause recurrent hemoptysis but is difficult to diagnose in the ED due to the scarcity of cases and nonspecific clinical findings. We report a case of a 26-year-old woman who presented to the ED with recurrent hemoptysis since 2 years without a definite cause. Her vital signs and blood test findings were unremarkable. Chest computed tomography (CT) did not show any specific lesions other than a non-specific ground-glass opacity pattern in her right lung. She was on day 4 of her menstrual cycle and her hemoptysis frequently occurred during menstruation. Although there was no histological confirmation, based on her history of hemoptysis during menstruation and no other cause of the hemoptysis, the patient was tentatively diagnosed with CH and was administered gonadotropin-releasing hormone. She had no recurrence of hemoptysis for 3 months. While CH is difficult to diagnose in the ED, the patient's recurrent hemoptysis related to menstruation was a clue to the presence of CH. Therefore, physicians should determine the relationship between hemoptysis and menstruation for women of childbearing age presenting with repeated hemoptysis without a definite cause.

The phtocount distributions of a quasi-thermal light source were measured by using the photoelectric counting method. The source was fabricated from the ground glass plate of 9${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ roughness illuminated by linearly polarized He-Ne laser beam. The coherence time of the quasi-thermal light changed from 31.4$mutextrm{s}$ to 2.48$mutextrm{s}$ according to the grain velocity of the ground glass plate. The photocount distribution showed the Bose-Einstein statistics for a long coherence time compared to the counting time interval, while the distribution approaches the Poisson distribution when the coherence time much shorter than the counting time.

Statins lower the hyperlipidemia and reduce the incidence of cardiovascular events and related mortality. A 60-year-old man who was diagnosed with a transient ischemic attack was started on acetyl-L-carnitine, cilostazol, and rosuvastatin. After rosuvastatin treatment for 4 weeks, the patient presented with sudden onset fever, cough, and dyspnea. His symptoms were aggravated despite empirical antibiotic treatment. All infectious pathogens were excluded based on results of culture and polymerase chain reaction of the bronchoscopic wash specimens. Chest radiography showed diffuse ground-glass opacities in both lungs, along with several subpleural ground-glass opacity nodules; and a foamy alveolar macrophage appearance was confirmed on bronchoalveolar lavage. We suspected rosuvastatin-induced lung injury, discontinued rosuvastatin and initiated prednisolone 1 mg/kg tapered over 2weeks. After initiating steroid therapy, his symptoms and radiologic findings significantly improved. We suggest that clinicians should be aware of the potential for rosuvastatin-induced lung injury.

A 43-year-old woman with breast cancer who was on neoadjuvant chemotherapy presented with cough, sputum and mild fever. High-resolution computed tomography showed diffuse ground glass opacities in bilateral lungs and subpleural patchy consolidations. Initially, she was thought to have pneumonia or interstitial lung diseases such as drug-induced pneumonitis and treated with antibiotics and steroids. She subsequently got breast cancer surgery because of disease progression, and concurrent thoracoscopic lung biopsy revealed metastatic carcinoma of the lung from breast cancer. The diagnosis of suspected interstitial lung disease can be made without lung biopsy, but malignancy should always be considered and lung biopsy should be performed in the absence of a definitive clinical diagnosis.

Objective: The current study reported a case series to illustrate the early computed tomography (CT) findings of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in pediatric patients. Materials and Methods: All pediatric patients who were diagnosed with COVID-19 and who underwent CT scan in Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University from January 20, 2020 to February 28, 2020 were included in the current study. Data on clinical and CT features were collected and analyzed. Results: Four children were included in the current study. All of them were asymptomatic throughout the disease course (ranging from 7 days to 15 days), and none of them showed abnormalities in blood cell counts. Familial cluster was the main transmission pattern. Thin-section CT revealed abnormalities in three patients, and one patient did not present with any abnormal CT findings. Unilateral lung involvement was observed in two patients, and one patient showed bilateral lung involvement. In total, five small lesions were identified, including ground-glass opacity (n = 4) and consolidation (n = 1). All lesions had ill-defined margins with peripheral distribution and predilection of lower lobe. Conclusion: Small patches of ground-glass opacity with subpleural distribution and unilateral lung involvement were common findings on CT scans of pediatric patients in the early stage of the disease.
