해수열원 히트펌프 시스템의 운전특성 (The Operation Characteristics of a Sea Water Source Heat Pump System)

  • A sea water source cascade heat pump was designed and tested in this study. The system was designed to perform a single stage operation in summer, as well as a cascade operation in winter to ensure the high temperature lift. A steady-state simulation model was developed to analyze and optimize its performance. The simulation results show that the R717 exhibits best performance among combinations considered in this study. A R410A also exhibits the highest performance among HFCs with the smallest compressor displacement. A 15-RT R410A-R134a pilot system was installed in the 5-story commercial building at Samcheok City by the East Sea. A scroll type R410A compressor, a reciprocating type R134a compressor, plate type condenser/ evaporator/ cascade heat exchanger and two electronic expansion valves were used to build a pilot. A titanium plate type heat exchanger is also used for the heat exchanging with a sea water. The heat source/sink water is supplied from the well below the seashore in the depth of 5 m. In the initial test of the system, supply water temperature was rising up to $67^{\circ}C$ using a sea water heat source of $9^{\circ}C$, while an ambient temperature was $4.5^{\circ}C$.

  • The treated sewage temperature is about $5^{\circ}C$ lower in summer and $5{\sim}10^{\circ}C$ higher in winter than ambient air. It can be used heat pump heat source and is good heat source on high performance of heat pump. In this study, to develop 100RT 2-stage compression heat pump use treated sewage water heat source and system applies to sewage disposal plant. Although heat pump is better performance, the large temperature difference between load and source makes the performance degradation of a heat pump. To solve this problem screw 2-stage compression is considered. The experiment was focused on the system operating performance variations over supply water and treated sewage water a temperature in the field. The results show that system of heating performance is higher then general heat pump and is enough to supply a hot water of $70^{\circ}C$.

부산지역 지열수의 기원과 진화: 1.가열된 해수-암석 반응과 지하수의 혼입에 따른 희석과 냉각 (Evolution and Origin of the Geothermal Waters in the Busan Area, Korea: 1. Cooling and Dilution by Groundwater Mixing after Heated Seawater-Rock Interaction)

  • 부산지역의 지열수는 Na-Cl형으로서 한국의 타지역에서 산출되는 지열수에 비해 전기전도도(921~6,520 ${\mu}$S/cm)와 총용존고체함량(608~3,390 mg/L)이 비교적 높다. 부산지역 지열수는 Mg를 제외한 주요 이온들이 온도가 증가함에 따라 농도가 대체로 증가하는 약한 정의 상관관계를 나타낸다. 주요 양이온의 함량은 Na>Ca>K>Mg의 순으로 나타나며, 해수에 비해 Ca가 부화되어 있고, Mg가 결핍되어 있다. 이 지열수의 Br 함량은 모두 해수보다 낮으며, 온도가 증가함에 따라 증가하는 정의 상관관계를 보인다. 이를 종합하면, 부산지역 지열수는 심부로 순환하는 해수가 주변 모암과의 상호반응에 의해 해수에 비해 상대적으로 증가된 Ca와 Sr의 함량과 상대적으로 결핍된 Mg, Na와 K의 함량을 갖는 지열수를 형성한 것으로 여겨진다. 또한 주요 이온들과 온도와의 상관관계로 볼 때, 높은 염도의 지열수가 상승하는 동안 저온의 주변 지하수와 혼합되어 냉각과 함께 희석작용이 있었던 것으로 보인다. 이 지열수의 기원과 진화를 정확히 규명하기 위해서는 안정동위원소 연구와 함께 전체 지구화학계에 대한 물-암석 반응 모델링이 수행되어야 할 것이다.

지하수정호 결합 복합지열시스템의 시범운영 효과분석 (Analysis of Test Operations Effect of Open-Closed Loops Complex Geothermal System Combined with Groundwater Well)

  • 본 연구에서는 지하수 관정을 활용하고 밀폐형-개방형이 결합된 복합지열시스템(CWG 시스템)을 시설재배지에 적용하여 열원측 및 부하측의 열교환량과 투입된 전력량 대비 효율을 평가하였다. 또한, 운전 과정에서의 외기온도 및 시설재배지 온도를 평가하여 복합지열시스템 적용시의 냉난방 효과를 분석하였다. 냉방운전시 열원측 열교환량 평가결과, 약 235 L/min의 지하수가 유입되는 개방형에서 평균 90.0 kW/h, 약 85 L/min의 순환수가 유동하는 밀폐형에서 40.1 kW/h의 열교환량이 발생하였으며, 전체 열교환량은평균 130.1 kW/h로 분석되었다. 부하측에서 실질적으로 전달되는 열교환량은 평균 110.4kW/h로 평가되었다. 복합지열시스템의 냉방효율을 분석한 결과, 평균 EER는 5.63으로 분석되었다. 난방운전 시 열원측 열교환량 평가결과, 약 266 L/min의 지하수가 유입되는 개방형에서 평균 60.4 kW/h, 약 86 L/min의 순환수가 유동하는 밀폐형에서 22.4 kW/h의 열교환량이 발생하였으며, 전체 열교환량은 평균 82.9 kW/h로 분석되었다. 부하측에서 실질적으로 전달되는 열교환량은 평균 112.0 kW/h로 평가되었다. 복합지열시스템의 난방효율을 분석한 결과, 평균 COP는 3.92로 분석되었다. 외기온도와 CWG 시스템을 적용한 시설하우스 및 비교 시설하우스 내부온도와의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 30RT 용량의 CWG 시스템 하우스가 비교 하우스에 비해 외기온도 $20^{\circ}C$인 경우 $3.4^{\circ}C$, 외기온도 $25^{\circ}C$인 경우 $6.8^{\circ}C$, 외기온도 $30^{\circ}C$인 경우 $10.1^{\circ}C$, 외기온도 $35^{\circ}C$인 경우 $13.4^{\circ}C$의 온도가 저감되는 것으로 평가되었다. 이러한 결과를 볼 때, 본 시스템을 적용할 경우 일반적으로 외기온도가 $30^{\circ}C$ 이상을 보이는 여름철에 CWG 시스템을 적용하지 않은 시설재배지에 비해 약 $10^{\circ}C$ 이상의 냉방효과가 나타낼 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 이와 같은 결과는 시설재배지의 복합지열시스템 설계에 활용될 수 있고, 다양한 조건에서의 시험성과와 종합하여 복합지열시스템의 냉난방 효과에 대한 보다 명확한 규명이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

열원에 따른 열펌프의 성능 비교 및 경제성 평가 (Performance Characteristics and Economic Assessment of Heat Pump Systems with the Various Heat Source)

  • The objectives of this study are to analyze the performance of a heat pump system with the various heat source and to carry out economic assessment for the heat pump system. The COP of the river water and ground source heat pump system was 20% higher than that of the air source heat pump system because river water and geothermal provide stable operating temperature compared with air temperature throughout the year. In addition, the economic assessment of a heat pump system using air, river water, and geothermal as a heat source was carried out. The ratio of the life cycle operating cost to the life cycle cost increased with the increase of building capacity. The payback period was found to be less than 3.3 and 4.5 years, respectively when the capacity of the river water and ground source heat pump was larger than 10 RT.

  • A new geothermal energy source obtained from a tunnel structure has been studied in this paper. The geothermal energy is extracted through a textile-type ground heat exchanger named "Energy Textile" that is installed between a shotcrete layer and a guided drainage geotexitle. A test bed was constructed in an abandoned railway tunnel to verify the geothermal heat exchanger system performed by the energy textile. To evaluate the applicability of the energy textile, we measured the thermal conductivity of shotcrete and lining samples which were prepared in accordance with a common mixture design. An overall performance of the energy textile installed in the test bed was evaluated by carrying out a series of in-situ thermal response test. In addition, a 3-D finite volume analysis (FLUENT) was adopted to simulate the operation of the ground heat exchanger being encased in the energy textile with the consideration of the effect of the shotcrete and lining thermal conductivity.

  • The geothermal heat pump systems were installed for heating and cooling of public buildings in Jincheon Eco-friendly Energy town. The heat pump system was operated at night to save on operational costs, and the cold heat was stored in thermal energy storage (TES). In this study, the performance of geothermal heat pump systems with the TES during the summer season was analyzed, and the operational costs with and without the TES were compared. The electric chiller model was used to simulate a heat pump applied without the TES system. Electric rates of each system were measured to calculate operational costs. When the TES is used in the air conditioning system, the electric load (30.4 MWh) calculated in the daytime can move to off-peak load time, and the operational cost is reduced by 36~54%.

  • A sliding accident on the road have a high percentage by road freezing, especially, it is often appeared at bridges and Tunnel of freezing areas. Thus, the stability of road operations is enhanced by preventing a partial freezing phenomenon. According to the geothermal snow melting system analysis, a pattern of thermal conductivity is found out about pavement materials of concrete and asphalt when it is buried. The thermal conductivity study is essential that be applied the geothermal snow melting system according to heating exchanger pipe laying of lower pavements. The model tests are conducted on low temperature in freezer using the manufactured test model which is equal to pavement materials. And Many variables are discovered from numerical analyzes of the same conditions with model test.

충적대수층 지역에서의 계간축열 지열냉난방시스템 적용 연구 (A Study on Application of Seasonal Thermal Storage System in the Alluvial Aquifer Area)

  • In this paper, we designed a seasonal geothermal storage system and studied the applicability in the alluvial aquifer. We conducted a basic survey to apply this system to greenhouses actually operated in the Geum river basin alluvial aquifer. After choosing a potential area through electrical resistivity survey, the system parameters were set using drilling survey and pumping test result. We installed a system based on the factors, and operated for about 9 months. As a result, high temperature water(injection temperature $30^{\circ}C$) was stored at 22.5 Mcal ($1,609m^3$) for 3 months in cooling operation and 125 Mcal ($16,960m^3$) of low temperature water (injection temperature $7^{\circ}C$) were stored for 6 months in the remaining heating operation.

  • In this study, characteristics simulation of heat pump system is investigated for heating and cooling using sewage water as a heat source. A simulation program for preestimate operation characteristics of heat pump system is developed. The performance of this system is resolved by several variables and the characteristics which is based on actual air and sewage temperature data. The simulation results agree well with the experimental values of COP. In the analysis of system characteristics, the COP is changed between $3\sim5$ in winter season for heating load, $4\sim6$ in summer season for cooling load. As the results of Life Cycle Cost analysis over a 15 year life cycle, the energy cost could be reduced by 250 million won if a heat pump system was used instead of a conventional boiler and an absorbtion refrigerator on the office building.
