  • 위와 같은 결과로부터 개인마다 다르게 형성되는 혈관의 형상이 혈류역학적 특성을 변화시켜 동맥경화의 발생에 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 즉, 동일한 관상동맥일지라도 기하학적 형태변화에 따라 좌주간지의 길이가 짧을수록, 좌전하행지와 좌회선지의 분지부 각도가 넓을수록, 동맥경화의 발생이 용이한 형태가 되는데, 이로 미루어 혈관의 형상이 혈류의 유동조건을 변화시켜 혈관내피세포의 손상, 혈류의 정체시간 연장 등으로 나타나 동맥경화가 발생되는 인자가 된다.

Optimal 3D Grasp Planning for unknown objects (임의 물체에 대한 최적 3차원 Grasp Planning)

  • This paper deals with the problem of synthesis of stable and optimal grasps with unknown objects by 3-finger hand. Previous robot grasp research has analyzed mainly with either unknown objects 2D by vision sensor or unknown objects, cylindrical or hexahedral objects, 3D. Extending the previous work, in this paper we propose an algorithm to analyze grasp of unknown objects 3D by vision sensor. This is archived by two steps. The first step is to make a 3D geometrical model of unknown objects by stereo matching which is a kind of 3D computer vision technique. The second step is to find the optimal grasping points. In this step, we choose the 3-finger hand because it has the characteristic of multi-finger hand and is easy to modeling. To find the optimal grasping points, genetic algorithm is used and objective function minimizing admissible farce of finger tip applied to the object is formulated. The algorithm is verified by computer simulation by which an optimal grasping points of known objects with different angles are checked.

  • The aim of this study is to find the best cutting conditions as analyzing cutting process of paper shredder and shape of cutter. The test has been done variation of torque and cutting velocity according to load. When shape of cutter and distance between cutter and shaft are changed, The variation of cutting force according to cutting angle and load is geometrically analyzed. The result of geometrical analysis is presented that the radius and array of cutter is the method to improve torque of paper shredder. In this paper it is presented as basic method of design to improve cutting performance of paper shredder.

The effect of voltage and nanoparticles on the vibration of sandwich nanocomposite smart plates

  • Vibration analysis in nanocomposite plate with smart layer is studied in this article. The plate is reinforced by carbon nanotubes where the Mori-Tanaka law is utilized for obtaining the effective characteristic of structure assuming agglomeration effects. The nanocomposite plate is located in elastic medium which is simulated by spring element. The motion equations are derived based on first order shear deformation theory and Hamilton's principle. Utilizing Navier method, the frequency of the structure is calculated and the effects of applied voltage, volume percent and agglomeration of Carbon nanotubes, elastic medium and geometrical parameters of structure are shown on the frequency of system. Results indicate that with applying negative voltage, the frequency of structure is increased. In addition, the agglomeration of carbon nanotubes reduces the frequency of the nanocomposite plate.

  • Stage-discharge relationship is applied to convert water level into discharge at the auto-measuring station in many irrigation canals. The stage-discharge curve is very important for reliable application for the agricultural water management system. We made results of discharge measurement at 18 stations in the irrigation canal nearby the Idong reservoir from 2010 to 2011. Stage-discharge relationships for each 18 stations were drawn considering of different hydraulic and geometrical characteristics at each stations. R-squared over 0.91 at each stations show high reliability for application of these relationships.

Assessment of Grid Sensitivity in the FDS Field Model to Simulate the Flame Propagation of an Electric Cable Fire (케이블 화재의 화염전파 해석을 위한 FDS 모델의 격자민감도 평가)

  • The present study has been conducted to examine the effect of grid resolution on the predicted results for electric cable fire using pyrolysis model in FDS(Fire Dynamics Simulator, version 5). The grid independent test for different grid resolutions has been performed for a PE coating cable and the grid resolution is defined by the non-dimensional characteristic length of fire and mean grid size. The calculated maximum heat release rate and mean flame spread rate were almost constant for higher grid resolution of 20${\sim}$25 and the computing time for the grid resolution takes approximately 20hours to solve flame propagation with pyrolysis model. The geometrical simplification of a electric cable dose not greatly affect on the maximum heat release rate and flame spread rate and the rectangular approximation of cable shape gives acceptable result comparing with the round cable with stepwise grid.

  • A spring tension control device is used as a very important part of an twister system. The friction force of tensioner must keep same friction force during winding in package. For satisfy this function, many device used common compression coil spring. In this paper, by using the case-building technique which was based on simple theory that unknown design variables are induced by given input design variables by the designer, design automation algorithm about rectangular section compression springs with elastic characteristic is developed. Four design equation are justified in using of analysis of torsion of straight bar of rectangular section and geometrical condition of coil spring. Four design equation and nine design variables are computed by case-building technique.

  • In this paper, We propose the initial shape finding and dynamic analysis of cable dome structure are presented. Cable dome that is consist of three component such as cable, strut and fabric membrane have complex structural characteristics. Main structural system of cable dome is cable-strut tensegric system, and fabric membrane element Is conceived as cladding roof material. One of the important problem of cable dome is shape finding of those subjected to cable and membrane forces, which stabilize the structures. And the other is structural response from external load effect such as snow and wind When cable dome are subjected to dynamic load such as wind load each structural component has many important problem because of their special structural characteristics. One problem is that geometrical nonlinearity should be considered in the dynamic analysis because large deformation is occurred from their flexible characteristic. The other problem is that wrinkling occurs occasionally because cable and membrane elements can not transmit compressive forces. So this paper describe the physical structural response of cable dome structure.

  • This paper presents the results of a post-tensioning test and analysis of a pyramidal unit structure that is basic element for space structures. The behavior characteristics was analyzed and compared with the numerical analysis and the mechanism in test model was confirmed with geometrical analysis. The results of this paper show that the behaviors of space structures can be predicted in multi-directional Mero joint system. And the authors suggest the possibility of erection and shaping formation with comparatively small post-tensioning, and space structure with the mechanism should consider the nonlinear behavior due to large deformation.
