Various difficulties and inconveniences arise from having a mentally handicapped child in a family and these place many demands on mothers. There are few studies in Korea on these demands nor on what mothers go through with their mentally handicapped daughters' menarche and puberty. The purpose of the study was to examine the experiences of mothers of mentally handicapped daughters, as it relates to their daughters' menarche and the beginning of puberty. With indepth interviews, both in person and by telephone and participant observation the study used a qualitative research methodology to attempt to understand the experiences of these mothers. The data were gathered from October 1995 to April 1996. The subjects for the research included nine mothers of mentally handicapped daughters whose ages ranged from 12 to 18 and who attended one of three special schools located in either Inchon or Seoul. The data were recorded and analyzed : meaningful statements were grouped according to subjects raised by the mothers. Content Analysis was also applied to identify similar content and confirm common experiences. and to highlight concepts and categorized them. The results of this study are as follows. Five categories were identified : mothers' emotional responses to their mentally handicapped daughters' menarche and menstration were of severe despair accompanied by anxiety, guilt, fear, anguish, shame and pity because the mothers were afraid their daughters would not be able to use appropriate hygienic measures during menstration and the mothers felt heavily burdened in having to look them. The mothers also had negative feelings about their daughters' physical development. The experience of mothers related to their daughters' possibilities for marriage and pregnancy were of powerlessness, distress, withdrawal, fear. pity and desperation and they were afraid that their daughters might be violated sexually. The mothers rejected the possibility of marriage and pregnancy for their daughters and instead planned very restricting futures for them. The mothers used various coping methods to bring meaning to their lives. Because the negative emotional responses of the mothers. nurses need to work to empower mothers to overcome these negative responses. Sex education can also play an important role especially for the daughters especially through the use of visual aids. Further, nurses should understand the tearing difficulties of mentally handicapped daughters, what mothers need and also what they experience with their mentally handicapped daughters. In conclusion, nurses should understand the negative experiences of the mothers in relation to their mentally handicapped daughters' menarche, help the mothers cope with the negative. emotions through real life education and counselling. In addition, there is a need for nursing interventions and an administrative system which will minimize the prejudices of society towards handicapped people.

Recently, Software Development was applied to new-approach methods as a various form : client-server system and web-programing, object-orient concept, distributed development with a network environments. On the other hand, it be concerned about the distributed development technology and increasing of object-oriented methodology. These technology is spread out the software quality and improve of software production, reduction of the software develop working. Futures, we considered about the distributed software development technique with a many workstation. In this paper, we discussed optimal release problem based on a stochastic differential equation model for the distributed Software development environments. In the past, the software reliability applied to quality a rough guess with a software development process and approach by the estimation of reliability for a test progress. But, in this paper, we decided to optimal release times two method: first, SRGM with an error counting model in fault detection phase by NHPP. Second, fault detection is change of continuous random variable by SDE(stochastic differential equation). Here, we decide to optimal release time as a minimum cost form the detected failure data and debugging fault data during the system test phase and operational phase. Especially, we discussed to limitation of reliability considering of total software cost probability distribution.

In this paper, we examine the forecasting KOSPI 200 realized volatility by volatility measurements. The empirical investigation for KOSPI 200 daily returns is done during the period from 3 January 2003 to 29 June 2007. Since Korea Exchange(KRX) will launch VKOSPI futures contract in 2010, forecasting VKOSPI can be an important issue. So we analyze which volatility measurements forecast VKOSPI better. To test this hypothesis, we use 5-minute interval returns to measure realized volatilities. Also, we propose a new methodology that reflects the synchronized bidding and simultaneously takes it account the difference between overnight volatility and intra-daily volatility. The t-test and F-test show that our new realized volatility is not only different from the realized volatility by a conventional method at less than 0.01% significance level, also more stable in summary statistics. We use the correlation analysis, regression analysis, cross validation test to investigate the forecast performance. The empirical result shows that the realized volatility we propose is better than other volatilities, including historical volatility, implied volatility, and convention realized volatility, for forecasting VKOSPI. Also, the regression analysis on the predictive abilities for realized volatility, which is measured by our new methodology and conventional one, shows that VKOSPI is an efficient estimator compared to historical volatility and CRR implied volatility.

Many of the world's large ecosystems are severely stressed due to population growth, water quality and quantity problems, vulnerability to flood and drought, and the loss of native species and cultural resources. Consequences of climate change further increase uncertainties about the future. These major societal challenges must be addressed through innovations in governance, policy, and ways of implementing management strategies. Science and engineering play a critical role in helping define possible alternative futures that could be achieved and the possible consequences to economic development, quality of life, and sustainability of ecosystem services. Science has advanced rapidly during the past decade with the emergence of science communities coalescing around 'Grand Challenges' and the maturation of how these communities function has resulted in large interdisciplinary research networks. An example is the River Experiment Center of KICT that engages researchers from throughout Korea and the world. This trend has been complemented by major advances in sensor technologies and data synthesis to accelerate knowledge discovery. These factors combine to allow scientific debate to occur in a more open and transparent manner. The availability of information and improved communication of scientific and engineering issues is raising the level of dialogue at the science-policy interface. However, severe challenges persist since scientific discovery does not occur on the same timeframe as management actions, policy decisions or at the pace sometimes expected by elected officials. Common challenges include the need to make decisions in the face of considerable uncertainty, ensuring research results are actionable and preventing science being used by special interests to delay or obsfucate decisions. These challenges are explored in the context of examples from the United States, including the California Bay-Delta system. California transfers water from the wetter northern part of the state to the drier southern part of the state through the Central Valley Project since 1940 and this was supplemented by the State Water Project in 1973. The scale of these activities is remarkable: approximately two thirds of the population of Californians rely on water from the Delta, these waters also irrigate up to 45% of the fruits & vegetables produced in the US, and about 80% of California's commercial fishery species live in or migrate through the Bay-Delta. This Delta region is a global hotspot for biodiversity that provides habitat for over 700 species, but is also a hotspot for the loss of biodiversity with more than 25 species currently listed by the Endangered Species Act. Understanding the decline of the fragile ecosystem of the Bay-Delta system and the potential consequences to economic growth if water transfers are reduced for the environment, the California State Legislature passed landmark legislation in 2009 (CA Water Code SS 85054) that established "Coequal goals of providing a more reliable water supply for California and protecting, restoring, and enhancing the Delta ecosystem". The legislation also stated that "The coequal goals shall be achieved in a manner that protects and enhances the unique cultural, recreational, natural resource, and agricultural values of the Delta as an evolving place." The challenges of integrating policy, management and scientific research will be described through this and other international examples.
In the beginning of the 20th century, post-colonialism has directly raised questions about western-centered universalism. One of its main achievements is that the political liberation of a colonial society does not guarantee the social, economic and cultural liberation of a society. Therefore, the discourse of liberation in the Western society, in particular, Marxism, nationalism, feminism and postmodernism, cannot be directly applied to the non-Western society. As a result, Western and non-Western societies are unfortunately dreaming of different futures and liberation; therefore, a'geopolitical dialogue' is needed between them. However, the theorists' efforts for postcolonial liberation failed to distinguish themselves from the western-centric traditions. It is also true that they have, in conjunction with these traditions, established their own power. As we know, many of the postcolonial criticisms somehow had relations with the West. This study will re-read the postcolonial thought of $Aim{\acute{e}}$$C{\acute{e}}saire$, the father of the so-called $N{\acute{e}}gritude$, as a 'non-western resistance discourse'. Through this process, we have a chance to reflect on $C{\acute{e}}saire$ and his postcolonial thoughts.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the Q - method, which is one of the qualitative analysis methods to approach deep and intrinsic meaning about the perception of college students about food in traditional market. Recently, local governments have been developing diverse tourism products aimed at young people in order to revitalize traditional markets. In this study, we classify the perception of food in traditional market by university students, And to suggest strategic implications by using it as basic data for establishing marketing strategy so that young people can visit in the futures. In order to analyze the perception of college students' subjective perception of traditional market food, Factor analysis was used to conduct an exploratory study. To do this, a Q-sort, Program, and Q factor analysis. The results were classified into three types. The first type (N = 21): Memories seeking type, the second type (N = 6): Local culture resource seeking type, the third type(N = 5). Each of these subjective perceptions can be used as a basis for future research. Through the establishment of marketing strategies for each of the three types of classifications, the direction of traditional markets is presented, and a variety of food items that are valuable as local tourism resources are accommodated by accepting university students' to contribute to the revitalization of traditional markets.

Recently, our society and environment has changed rapidly due to the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus. In this rapidly changing environment, companies fulfill their social responsibilities and require non-financial elements of transparent management activities. ESG has become one of the non-financial factors, and interest of ESG management is increasing worldwide. In this paper, we examine the importance of ESG concept and ESG management performance and the correlation with companies, and examine the necessity of ESG management for companies in the future. The literature reviews are conducted on CU which is currently best practicing ESG management through various secondary data. Also, we used interview articles so that reflect the rich voice of the distribution industry. In addition, after examining ESG characteristics through examples of global companies, we looked at BGF Retail's CU convenience store ESG activities, which is a leader in ESG management, in distribution industry. CU was divided into all sectors of E, S, and G, and all sectors were actively engaged in activities and flexibly coping with changing environments and social needs. In particular, it was confirmed that CU's environmental management, which focuses the most, achieved successful results due to the increase in actual consumption of customers. ESG management activities at CU convenience stores are currently ongoing and future tasks. As a leading company in ESG management in the current industry, it is meaningful to understand the process of growing into a company that shares concerns, efforts, and practical activities and fulfills social responsibility. Through this study, the changes and growth of CU and domestic companies to ESG and sustainable management are expected in the futures.

The aim of this study is to compare and analyze structural characteristics of smart city industry focused on Korea and Spain. Structural characteristics of industries were compared focusing on share, penetration, impact path and network clustering of smart industries. Research data used input-output tables established by Korea and Spain in 1995 and 2015, and industries were reclassified into 8 and 25 industries. The analysis model is the Smart SPIN Model. The key finding as follows: It was analyzed that there are differences in the structure and characteristics of the smart city industry between Korea and Spain. Firstly, It is analyzed that Korea has a larger share and penetration rate of IT manufacturing than Spain. On the other hands, Spain has a higher share and penetration rate in the IT service and knowledge service sectors than Korea. Secondly, Korea had many production paths for the IT service and the knowledge service. On the other hands, Spain included more production paths in the IT manufacturing sector. Thirdly, as a result of network analysis, Korea's smart industry has a characteristic that it is difficult to develop independently because it is dependent on traditional industries. In Spain, most of the smart industries were included in one industrial cluster, and it was analyzed to have an independent form. In conclusion, It was found that Korea has the industrial characteristics of a smart city based on IT manufacturing. Spain has the characteristics of smart city industry based on IT service and knowledge service. The results of this study are expected to provide basic data on the direction of smart city promotion and the establishment of smart city policies in Korea.

The impact of climate change on water resources was evaluated for Chungju Dam and Soyang-gang Dam basins by constructing an integrated modeling framework consisting of a dam inflow prediction model based on the Variable Infiltration Capacity (VIC) model, a distributed hydrologic model, and an LSTM based dam outflow prediction model. Considering the uncertainty of future climate data, four models of CMIP6 GCM were used as input data of VIC model for future period (2021-2100). As a result of applying future climate data, the average inflow for period increased as the future progressed, and the inflow in the far future (2070-2100) increased by up to 22% compared to that of the observation period (1986-2020). The minimum value of dam discharge lasting 4~50 days was significantly lower than the observed value. This indicates that droughts may occur over a longer period than observed in the past, meaning that citizens of Seoul metropolitan areas may experience severe water shortages due to future droughts. In addition, compared to the near and middle futures, the change in water storage has occurred rapidly in the far future, suggesting that the difficulties of water resource management may increase.
