The purpose of this research is to suggest the direction of the school planning for the future that could respond actively to fast-changing circumstances of the times. The specific purpose is as follows. First, this research creates the education spatial model for the future that could prepare the education for globalization, informationization, liberalization and suggests the direction of the school planning that would correspond to the revised curriculum in 2009. Based on the research findings, establish the fundamental architectural planning guidelines and provide a blueprint of the advanced school for the future. Second, this research suggests diverse layout method of the school building blocks for the future. Key factors, which are method of teaching, planning for eco-school, planning for ubiquitous computing environment, planning of mixed-use school facilities that would give direction of the school planning for the future are determined through theoretical consideration about the social structure, direction of education for the future and case study. Based on these keys factors, this research suggests directions of the school planning for the future.

At the threshold of the 21st century People have been exploring the future of each field. Accordingly In the area of housing the increase in income level and high-technology development facilitated full scale research on the future housing. The purpose of this research is to try to set up a systematic theory on the future housing by investigating theoretical backgrounds of the future housing and development of the future housing planning concept, A document research method was used to analyze the development of the future housing planning concept of three periods from its origin in the 19th century to present : the burgeoning period growing period and maturing period. In particulary this research examines development of the future housing planning concept from the 19th century in which future housing planning concept was emerged to the early part of the 20th century: the burgeoning period. This study which aimed to propose development directions for the future housing through the social change tries to predict the change of the future. With the emergence of the smart era, interest in future society and new dwelling spaces is growing. This research analyzes the planning items applied to future house pavilions in Korea to examine which functions will be more emphasized and considered importantly in the dwelling spaces. This research paper aims to identify those dwelling functions that will occupy greater importance from the users' point of view. As for the research methodology, it comprised a literature review and an analysis of case studies. The results of this research were as follows; 1) It was arranged that the dwelling functions were safety, amenity, convenience, independence, economics, society, relaxation, aesthetic appearance. 2) For future dwelling environments, environment-friendly technology for conservation of energy was important in addition to intellectual cutting edge technologies, 3) Safety was most basic among all dwelling functions, 4) Planning items related to amenity and economics were found to be most common, indicating that they were important functions in future dwelling environments, 5) With regard to convenience, planning items related to increasing efficiency of household chores through the application of ubiquitous technology were found to be most common, 6) There was no indication of planning items related to independence and society, 7) Cutting edge technology and emotional technology appear to be integrated in planning items related to relaxation and aesthetic appearance, and 8) Each future dwelling pavilion suggested that over 80% of the planning items were related to amenity, convenience, and economics. We expect that the results from our research will be useful in creating a life-centered design of future dwelling spaces that account for dwelling functions.

The domestic simple payment service was not activated yet compared to foreign countries and there are many things to complement in the legal, institutional, and technical aspects. The future image of the domestic electronic payment propulsion was considered by the scenario planning focusing on the simple payment. Total 6 future scenarios were drawn through the scenario planning, and 3 major strategy directions for attaining the preferred future scenario were drawn. This study drew a meaningful scenario through various analyses and industry specialist questionnaire about the future of the simple payment service which will be a crucial change of the domestic electronic payment under the uncertain future situation, and suggested an implication for the government and every interested party who provides the industrial service to prepare for the future.

In the wake of the fourth industrial revolution, the paradigm of human resources and education required by reality is changing. School buildings are also improving to accommodate changed education and with that move, school building reform policies have been established at home and abroad. The purpose of this study is to present the architectural planning characteristics of Future Schools related to space design. The research methods are as follows: First, the characteristics of Future School planning are compiled through prior research surveys in Korea. Second, the characteristics outlined earlier through advanced case analysis are examined of their application to architectural planning in order to establish the status of utilization factors, and the direction of planning is presented. This study names the school architecture as 'Future School' in reference to the use of the term in the preceding study. This study is meaningful in that it focuses on architectural planning characteristics in Future School planning and on actual application cases of theory.

Patents are an up-to-date and reliable source of technological knowledge, and thus patent analysis has been considered to be a necessary step for identifying evolving technological trends and planning technology strategies. Although there exist many research papers and technical reports concerning patent analysis, few empirical studies on planning technology strategies for uncertain futures from a national or company perspective have been rarely conducted. Therefore, this paper aims presenting a procedure and its practical case of planning future technology strategies by incorporating patent analysis and scenario planning. Using patents related to polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells, this paper developed technology strategies corresponding to future scenarios. We expect that the proposed method and case study can assist knowledge services of experts in the long-term technology strategy planning process.

The purpose of this study is to review the research trends of family life planning in the Journal of Korean Rome Economics Association, the Journal of Korean Rome Management Association and the Journal of Korean Family Resource Management Association. For this purpose, 132 studies were analyzed according to the theory of family life planning, the state of family life planning, the diagnosis of present, the establishment of future and the practice of family life planning. At this time, we feel that it is meaningful to review the research of family life planning and to take a look at its possible future prospects. This study also provides the information necessary to implement and integrate its positive results into Family Life Education.

This study is on the architectural planning of the secondary school for the future. It focuses on principles and directions of the architectural planning. There are two motivations on the change of education paradigm. The one is that educational philosophy changes and the other is that the knowledge based society has come. Now these affection factors put the education paradigm to be changed. These educational paradigm need to be analyzed from constructivism and educational informationage. Lastly, architectural principles and directions were analogized from educational directions. Architectural principles(6 elements) and directions(15 elements) have been proposed in this study. The conclusion of this study, architectural planning of educational facilities must be with those criteria for more characteristic schools and organic schools.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the concept, general framework, planning process of bioregion, and bioregional impacts on landscape planning of future and to discuss the application possibility of landscape planning. Bioregionalism is defined in the course of following: knowing the land, learning the lore, developing the potential, liberating the self. Bioregional paradigm was composed of policy system insisted on diversity and decentralization based on region and community, sustainable economy structure focused on conservation and stability, and society structure through cooperation with common consciousness in the community. A general bioregional framework was organized to be able to achieve a sustainable future with interaction for humans being, other living things, and important earth life system. Bioregional mapping should be able to explain three important aspects about how localised and sustainable cultures would exist: to define the external boundaries, to describe forces of energy, and give a hint for th productive capability. In conclusion, according to the result of reviewing the total environmental planning, bioregional paradigm, examples of projects, technique of bioregional mapping, and actions of Nongovernmental Organizations(NGOs). this study is helpful to show an applicability of bioregional planning theory in Korea
