  • In general, Light-hardening polymer was used UV nanoimprint technology. A light-hardening polymer was had the problem of poor hardness, durability. In order to overcome the problem of polymer, inter change optical glass. However glass is very manufacture and a lowering of standars transmittance. In order to glass recover was necessary polishing process. The process is magnetorheological fluids polishing. MR polishing has been developed as a new precision finishing technique to obtain a fine surface. Hence, Magnetorheological fluids has been used for micro polishing to get micro parts. This polishing process guarantees high polishing quality by controlling the fluid density electrically. The applied material in experiments is fused silica glass. Fused silica glass is widely used in the optical field because of high degree of purity. For MR polishing experiments, MR fluid was composed with DI-water, carbonyl iron and nano slurry ceria. The wheel speed and electric current were chosen as the variables for analyzing the characteristics of MR polishing process. Outstanding surface roughness of Ra=1.58nm was obtained on the fused silica glass specimen. And originally glass transmittance was recover on the fused silica glass.

  • Tetraploidy, a potential precursor of cancer-associated aneuploidy, is produced either by cell fusion or failure of cytokinesis. In this study, low p53-expressing HeLa cells were used to address the fate of cancer cells after fusion. We found that massive cell death or growth arrest occurred a few days after fusion. Interestingly, cells with larger nuclei preferentially died after fusion, suggesting that a larger deviation of DNA content is a strong inducer of apoptosis. Notably, a fraction of cells escaped cell death. Also, the stability of survivin increased, and its localization changed preferentially to the cytosol in fused cells. Knockdown of survivin decreased the survival of fused cells, more than observed in unfused cells, showing increased dependency of fused cells on survivin. Collectively, after cancer cell fusion, some fused cells avoid the apoptotic crisis partly owing to survivin, and continue to proliferate, a process that contributes to human cancer progression.

  • In response to problems such as insufficient extraction information, low detection accuracy, and frequent misdetection in the field of Thangka image defects, this paper proposes a YOLOv5 prediction algorithm fused with the attention mechanism. Firstly, the Backbone network is used for feature extraction, and the attention mechanism is fused to represent different features, so that the network can fully extract the texture and semantic features of the defect area. The extracted features are then weighted and fused, so as to reduce the loss of information. Next, the weighted fused features are transferred to the Neck network, the semantic features and texture features of different layers are fused by FPN, and the defect target is located more accurately by PAN. In the detection network, the CIOU loss function is used to replace the GIOU loss function to locate the image defect area quickly and accurately, generate the bounding box, and predict the defect category. The results show that compared with the original network, YOLOv5-SE and YOLOv5-CBAM achieve an improvement of 8.95% and 12.87% in detection accuracy respectively. The improved networks can identify the location and category of defects more accurately, and greatly improve the accuracy of defect detection of Thangka images.

  • Fused deposition modelling(FDM) is a rapid prototyping(RP) process that fabricates part layer by layer by deposition of molte thermoplastic material extrude from a nozzle. RP system has benefits. Benefit would be the ability to experiment with physical objects of any complexity m a relatively short period of time. But it has a matter of surface roughness and geometric accuracy. We study on Influence of tangent line angle on surface roughness at fused deposition.

  • Fused teeth, with all its lower prevalence, produce many problems in orthodontic treatment because of their altered form, large root, and unbalance of teeth numbers between upper and lower jaws. The authors have reviewed on its etiology, differential diagnosis, prevalence, clinical features and complications. Orthodontic treatment cases of 2 sisters with malocclusion including fused teeth were presented, in which asymmetrical extractions were performed and edgewise appliances were utilized.

  • This paper reports a fiber-optic temperature sensor using a single mode fused fiber coupler incorporating a thermo-optic external medium. The spectral transmission was altered by changing the refractive index of the external thermo-optic medium. A theoretical and experimental investigation was carried out with the aim of achieving high sensitivity. The measured sensitivity for the environmental temperature was as high as -1.5 $nm/^{\circ}C$.

  • The thermal expansion coefficient of the titania-fused silica glass$(TiO_2-SiO_2)$ called KLR-1.1 is known to $0{\pm}0.03$ ppm/K, while that of normal fused-silica glasses is about +0.5 ppm/K at room temperature. To analysis the dielectric properties of the KLR-1.1, the sample with diameter of 30 mm and thinkness of 1 mm is covered with gold film. Its relative permittivity and dissipation factor of KLR-1.1 is evaluated to $4.011{\pm}0.012(1\sigma)$ and $(4.86{\pm}0.02){\times}10^{-4}(1{\sigma})$ at 1 kHz respectively. The measurement techniques used and results are more discussed in this paper.

  • This paper proposes an approach to fused navigation of an unmanned surface vehicle(USV) and to detection of the outlier or interference of global positioning system(GPS). The method fuses available sensor measurements through extended Kalman filter(EKF) to find the location and attitude of the USV. The method uses error covariance of EKF for detection of GPS outlier or interference. When outlier or interference of the GPS is detected, the method excludes GPS data from navigation process. The measurements to be fused for the navigation are GPS, acceleration, angular rate, magnetic field, linear velocity, range and bearing to acoustic beacons. The method is tested through simulated data and measurement data produced through ground navigation. The results show that the method detects GPS outlier or interference as well as the GPS recovery, which frees navigation from the problem of GPS abnormality.

  • Sufficient dimension reduction (SDR) replaces original p-dimensional predictors to a lower-dimensional linearly transformed predictor. The sliced inverse regression (SIR) has the longest and most popular history of SDR methodologies. The critical weakness of SIR is its known sensitive to the numbers of slices. Recently, a fused sliced inverse regression is developed to overcome this deficit, which combines SIR kernel matrices constructed from various choices of the number of slices. In this paper, the fused sliced inverse regression and SIR are compared to show that the former has a practical advantage in survival regression over the latter. Numerical studies confirm this and real data example is presented.

  • This study was designed to find out the prevalence d the fused teeth in the primary dentition and their successors. The clinical and panoramic radiographic examination was undertaken of 5226 children (male 2812, female 2414) attended department of Pedodontics, College of Dentistry, Yon Sei University, Seoul, Korea. The results were as follows; 1. The prevalence of the fused teeth in the primary dentition was 1.03 percent and female (1.2%) affected more frequently than male (0.89%). 2. Compare with the maxilla and mandible, the prevalence of the fused teeth were higher in the mandible than in the maxilla. 3. The fusion of the primary teeth were occured between central with lateral incisor in the maxilla, and central with lateral and lateral with canine in the mandible. 4. There were 33 cases (61%) of succeding teeth missing among 54 case of the rused teeth.
