  • The purpose of this study is to classify customers by e-mail responsiveness on time-series analysis and testify the effectiveness of grouping by ROI analysis. Response recency, response frequency and Activity(RFA) of e-mailing systems are adapted for Customer segmentations. ROI analysis are consisted of open, click-through, duration time, personalization, conversion rate and email loyalty index of email systems. Major findings are as follows: RFA analysis is used for customer segmentations that is fundamental process of e-CRM applications. Customers can be grouped into loyal customers, odds customers, dormant customers, secession customers, and observation customers by RFA grouping. Loyal customer group has high point in all ROI index compared to other groups. These results indicated that customer responsiveness of e-mail systems were appropriate methods to group the customer with demographic variables. Therefore, effective e-mail marketing strategy of e-Biz should have suitable active DB and Behavior targeting is best approach to enforce the target e-mail marketing.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate cross-cultural comparison of landscape preferences among Korean, Japanese and Western groups, and to get some clues to be used in judging this cultural influence. Moreover this study suggested fundamental data for design theory of modern landscape architecture. The results were as follows ; Natural factors including vegetation, water and rock, structural factors and spatial factors could be significant variables on Korean traditional landscape. The mean preference scores for both landscape element and landscape space were significantly different(p(0.01, p(0.05) with the Korean most perferred, the Western in the middle, and Japanese least. There were both differences and similarities in landscape preference among Korean, Japanese and Western groups.

  • Light plays an important role in making a continuity of space and in determining the distinctive expression and char-acter of a space. Particularly, the introduction of natural light derives from our esthetic needs, as well as from the fundamental biologi-cal necessities of human beings. And also, adaptation to time and space is the vital factor of human survival and prosperity. Our visual recognition of light is usually formed not only by practical illumination but by analogy, expection and expe-rienced of lighting itself. As the forecase of natural light is (almost) impossible be-cause of variables such as changing weather, reflection rate of light and the patterns of shade, in designing the introduc-tion of daylight, there should be follow-ed careful considera-tion of the adaptation to such variety and the impet-us of light. The research was conducted to mane a contribution to cre-ate more rich and beautiful interior spaces by studying the characteristic of light which is one of the important factors of interior space design, and by inquiring the way to intro-duce light and its effect through the practical examples of Alvar Aalto, Le Corbusier and Louis I. Kahn.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to provide fundamental data for the development of a human management strategy depending on the followership type in 119 EMTs. Methods: The subjects were thirty eight 119 EMTs working out of hospital in Y, D, S, G city. Data were collected from June 25 to August 10, 2017. The Q sample was selected as 40 statements in total and analyzed using the PC QUANL program. Results: As a result of the study, three followership types explained 67.59% of all the variables. Three different types were identified from the examination. The types were labeled as 'Responsible helper type', 'Quick response type', and 'Enterprising self-development type'. Conclusion: For each type, a leader and follower should develop a team management strategy for 119 EMTs to provide high-quality emergency medical services.

  • Isogeometric concept is introduced to find out the optimum layout of plane structure under free vibration. Eigenvalue problem is formulated and numerically solved in order to obtain natural frequencies and mode shapes of plane structures. For the exact geometric expression of the structure, the Non-Uniform Rational B-spline Surface (NURBS) basis functions is employed and it is also used to define the material density functions. A node-wise design variables is adopted to deal with the updating of material density in topology optimization (TO). The definition of modal strain energy is employed to achieve the maximization of fundamental frequency through its minimization. The verification of the proposed TO technique is performed by a series of benchmark test for plane structures.

  • In order to develop the vacuum distillation process of magnesium alloy scrap, a fundamental study on the evaporation behavior of magnesium alloy (AM50) scrap melt was carried out. Melt temperature, pressure, reaction time, and initial specific surface area of melt were considered as experimental variables. The evaporation rate of magnesium increased with the increase of melt temperature and initial specific surface area of melt, and with the decrease of the pressure. The activation energy of magnesium evaporation reaction calculated by an Arrhenius plot decreased with the decrease of the pressure and with the increase of the initial specific surface area of melt. An empirical equation was derived for the evaporation rate of magnesium from AM50 alloy melt.

  • This study examined the influences of demographic variables, parent-adolescent conversation time, and open communication on the positive psychological capital of adolescents. The data were collected from 243 middle school students living in Gwangju from December 23, 2019, to January 3, 2020. Data were analyzed using correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The results can be summarized as follows. First, with economic condition, academic achievement, parent-adolescent conversation time, and open communication, positive psychological capital showed significant difference statistically. Second, father-adolescent open communication best explained positive psychological capital, followed by academic achievement, and mother-adolescent open communication. The results highlight the important roles played by parent-adolescent open communication and academic achievement in improving adolescents'positive psychological capital. The study contributes to the literature by providing fundamental insights into adolescents'positive psychological capital.

  • As the stock market is affected by various circumstances including economic and political variables, predicting the stock market is considered a still open problem. When combined with corporate financial statement data analysis, which is used as fundamental analysis, and technical analysis with a short data generation cycle, there is a problem that the time domain does not match. Our proposed method, LSTE the operating profit and market outlook of a petrochemical company and estimates the sales and operating profit of the company, it was possible to solve the above-mentioned problems and improve the accuracy of stock price prediction. Extensive experiments on real-world stock data show that our method outperforms the 8.58% relative improvements on average w.r.t. accuracy.

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify factors influencing on the mental health in bereaved adults. Methods: A descriptive and correlational study was conducted in 160 adults who had experienced bereavement. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, and hierarchical multiple linear regression analyses with SPSS 26.0. Results: The participants' mental health showed a positive correlation with complicated grief (r=.31, p<.001) and a negative correlation with grief and meaning reconstruction (r=-.30, p<.001). Sex, sleeping time, intimacy with the deceased, grief reaction, and grief and meaning reconstruction were significant factors influencing on the mental health. The total explanatory power of these variables was 31.8%. Conclusion: It is necessary to explore the persistent and impairing grief after experiencing bereavement. Our study findings will be fundamental evidence to develop nursing interventions to improve adult mental health dealing with bereavement and grief.
