2모드 색소레이저 출력의 switching과 First-Passage-Time(FPT) 분포 (Switching and first-passage-time distributions in a two-mode ring dye laser)

  • 고리형 공진기의 색소레이저에서 시계방향 모드와 반시계 방향 모드 사이에 나타나는 switching 현상을 펌프 매개변수 a, 폄프요동의 세기 Q 및 진동수폭 등을 변화시켜 Monte Carlo 방법으로 수치 계산하여 고찰하였다. 덧셈형 noise만 고려할 때와 이 noise에다 여기요동을 나타내는 곱셈형 색 noise를 포함시켰을 때 FPT분포에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 두 경우에 있어서 FTP의 분포는 짧은 시간영역에서는 0에서 상승하여 최대값에 도달하고, 긴 시간영역에서는 지수함수적으로 감소하는 경향은 같았으나 덧셈의 noise만 존재할 때에 비하여 곱셈의 색 noise가 포함될 때는 FPT가 감소하였다. 한편, 평균 FTP는 펌프매개변수 a의 증가와 더불어 증대하였으며 곱셈형 noise의 세기Q 및 진동수폭 $\GAMMA$가 증가할 때는 감소함을 알 수 있었다.

ECU HILS를 이용한 실차 주행 조건에서의 인젝터 평가시스템 (Evaluating System for Fuel Injector with the Condition of a Driving Vehicle Mode Using an ECU HILS)

  • A fuel injection system using an ECU HILS as an alternate to a vehicle test for the fuel injectors was developed. The throttle position, vehicle speed, engine speed, crank position, cam position, intake air flow, and several other sensor signals that are supplied to the ECU were measured and recorded as a data file for a vehicle driven in the FTP-75 mode in a chassis dynamometer. Electric signals that are equivalent to the sensor signals from the vehicle are reconstructed from the recorded data file using data acquisition boards, microprocessors, and computers. All sensor signals are supplied to the ECU with synchronized timing using a computer program. The findings show that the cost and time of vehicle experiments can be reduced using the ECU HILS system. Moreover, the repeatability of the generation of sensor signals can enhance the accuracy of a range of experiment related to vehicle testing. An ECU scanner that scans the sensor signals that are input to the ECU through a serial port was used to assess the accuracy of the reconstructed signals. The scanning results show good agreement with the reconstructed input signals. Injectors were connected to the ECU HILS system and were driven by the system to measure the quantity of injected fuel.

  • 정보가 급증함에 따라 큰 용량의 데이터를 전송해야 할 경우가 있다. 빅 데이터 전송 기술은 큰 용량의 데이터를 전송할 때 필요하다. 본 논문은 빅 데이터를 최적화된 속도로 전송하기 위해 GridFTP의 주된 기능인 PCP를 사용하며 또한 PCP 값을 예측하는 알고리즘을 개발한다. 또한, TSK 퍼지 모델을 적용하여 PCP에 따른 최적화된 전송률을 측정하는데 사용된다. 따라서, 제안된 TSK모델을 이용한 PCP 예측 알고리즘은 본 논문의 우수성을 입증한다.

차량주행 모사 조건에서 로드셀을 이용한 인젝터 누적 연료 분사량 측정 (A Cumulative Injected Fuel Mass Measurement Under a Vehicle Driven Condition using Loadcells)

  • A gasoline injector rig which can measure cumulative injected fuel mass under a vehicle driving condition was developed. The measurement system consists of an engine control unit (ECU), data acquisition (DAQ) and injected fuel collection system using loadcells. By supplying reconstructed sensor signals which simulate the real vehicle's sensor signals to the ECU, the ECU drives injectors as if they were driven in the vehicle. The vehicle's performance was computer simulated by using $GT-Suite^{(R)}$ software based on both engine part load performance and automatic transmission shift map. Throttle valve position, engine and vehicle speed, air mass flow rate et al. were computer simulated. The used vehicle driving pattern for the simulation was FTP-75 mode. For reconstructing the real vehicle sensor signals which are correspondent to the $GT-Suite^{(R)}$ simulated vehicle's performance, the DAQ systems were used. The injected fuel was collected with mess cylinders. The collected fuel mass in the mess cylinder with elapsed time after starting FTP-75 driving mode was measured using loadcells. The developed method shows highly improved performance in fast timing and accuracy of the cumulative injected fuel mass measurement under the vehicle driven condition.

고속 핸드오버를 위한 PFMIPv6와 무선랜의 효율적인 연동 방안 (An Efficient PFMIPv6 and WLAN Interworking Scheme for Fast Handover)

  • 전 세계적으로 스마트폰 사용자가 급격히 증가하면서 이동단말에 대한 서비스 요구사항이 증대되고 있다. 하지만, 대표적인 무선 기술인 무선랜은 설계 초기에 이동 환경을 고려하지 않아 핸드오버에 따른 이동성 지원에 한계가 존재하는 문제점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 IEEE 802.11의 probe request 메시지와 authentication request 메시지를 활용하고 버퍼링 기법을 이용하여 PFMIPv6를 적용하는 방안을 제안한다. 그리고 제안한 방안의 시뮬레이션 및 성능 분석을 통해 핸드오버 지연시간과 FTP throughput의 면에서 성능이 향상됨을 확인하였다.

Research on the Performance of Protocols and the Evaluation Metric for VIDEO Transmissions in an Ad Hoc Network

  • Video transmission effectiveness in the Ad Hoc network is becoming important recently, if different routing protocols are applied. Some researchers conclude that the reactive protocols are better for file transfer protocol (FTP) and constant bit rate (CBR) or hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) transmission in an Ad Hoc wireless network but the performance report of video transmission is not much. This study adopts Qualnet (Network Simulator) as a simulation tool for environmental designing and performance testing, and employs an experimental design with eight groups. Our experiment shows that: (1) The performance of AODV (reactive) protocol is better than DSDV, ZRP and DSR when the transmission load has only one video stream; (2) Proactive (DSDV) and Hybrid protocols (ZRP) are better for a smaller Ad Hoc network when it transmits a video stream with some applications (VoIP, FTP and CBR). We conclude that packet loss rate is sensitive to the quality of video transmission and it has negative relationship with Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) value. In addition, our experiment also shows that PSNR is a simple Metric for the performance evaluation of video transmission.

자동변속기 차량의 직결영역 변화에 따른 연비 특성에 관한 연구 (Effect of Lock-up Control Strategy on Vehicle Fuel Economy)

  • Experiments are conducted to compare fuel economy of FTP-75 mode on two different lock-up conditions; (A) Lock-up on at engine speed of 1,200(rpm) and above for 3rd & 4th gear, (B) Lock-up on at engine speed of 1400rpm and above for 4th gear only. As a result, case A had better fuel economy about 2.75(%) than case B for FTP-75 mode. Simulation(CRUISE, AVL) study is also carried out in order to estimate the effect of Lock-up control strategy for vehicle fuel economy. The fuel economy simulation result agrees with the measured fuel economy within error of 2(%). The improved Lock-up control strategy is proposed by simulation.

EXPERIMENTAL ANALYSIS OF DRIVING PATTERNS AND FUEL ECONOMY FOR PASSENGER CARS IN SEOUL

  • There are a lot of factors that influence automotive fuel economy such as average trip time per kilometer, average trip speed, the number of times of vehicle stationary, and so forth. These factors depend on road conditions and traffic environment. In this study, various driving data were measured and recorded during road tests in Seoul. The accumulated road test mileage is around 1,300 kilometers. The objective of the study is to identify the driving patterns of the Seoul metropolitan area and to analyze the fuel economy based on these driving patterns. The driving data which was acquired through road tests was analysed statistically in order to obtain the driving characteristics via modal analysis, speed analysis, and speed-acceleration analysis. Moreover, the driving data was analyzed by multivariate statistical techniques including correlation analysis, principal component analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis in order to obtain the relationships between influencing factors on fuel economy. The analyzed results show that the average speed is around 29.2 km/h, and the average fuel economy is 10.23 km/L. The vehicle speed of the Seoul metropolitan area is slower, and the stop-and-go operation is more frequent than FTP-75 test mode which is used for emission and fuel economy tests. The average trip time per kilometer is one of the most important factors in fuel consumption, and the increase of the average speed is desirable for reducing emissions and fuel consumption.

  • 현재 대부분의 가정이나 소규모 기업에서는 인터넷 서비스를 이용하기 위하여 ADSL(Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line)나 케이블모뎀을 사용한다. 4바이트로 구성되는 현재의 인터넷 IP 주소체계(IPv4)에서는 할당 가능한 IP 주소가 부족하여, 동적으로 공인(Public) IP 주소를 할당하는 방식을 사용하고 있다. 이러한 동적인 IP 주소를 할당받는 시스템은 모든 인터넷 서비스를 이용하는 데에는 아무런 제약이 없지만, 자신이 각종 인터넷 서버 기능을 수행하는 데는 많은 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 동적으로 변하는 IP 주소를 가진 시스템에서 인터넷 서버 서비스(Telnet, FTP, HTTP, Mail 등)가 가능하도록 하는 게이트웨이(Gate-D)를 설계하였으며, 실험적으로 Gate-D를 이용한 Telnet 서버의 구축을 통하여 유용성을 확인하였다.

경유자동차의 실험실과 실도로 주행시험에 관한 비교 분석 (An analysis of Laboratory and Real Driving Test using Diesel Vehicles)

  • Since a diesel vehicle scandal related to the 'A' automobile company was issued in the United States in 2015, many countries have been interested in emission defeat devices. Being embedded in some diesel passenger cars sold in Korea, a defeat device for exhaust gas may have influence on both fuel economy and NOx emissions. In order to examine such effects, we carried out laboratory indoor tests as well as real road driving tests using four models of 'A' automobile company which may employ defeat devices. Those tests were performed observing the test modes of FTP-75, HWFET, and NEDC. Although fuel economy and NOx emissions according to indoor tests comply with the suggested tolerance, the findings in the real road driving tests do not satisfy the tolerance. Along with the results provided in this study, further evaluation may be necessary to investigate the noticeable difference between the indoor and real road tests.
