The purpose of this study was to examine and fully understand the transformation of female's ideal beauty through time based on word analysis. Word selection was made from the very exemplary Women's magazines : Yuhwon, Jubu-Saengwhal, and Yuhsung-Dongah. Further, in order to research the understanding of female's ideal beauty, a random research was done on 445 women, ranging from the ages 20's through 60's. From the result, a frequency analysis was performed to further analyze the meaning of ideal beauty to each sector of the age groups for different time periods : the 1980's and the 1990's. To the 20's, beauty awareness was defined by the word ‘intelligence’, however, the 1980's endorsed confidence with composure and calmness where as the 1990's preferred beauty to be defined by ‘refinement and goal oriented’. The 30's selected ‘individuality’ marked with confidence in character, but there was a shift from ‘mature intelligence’ in the 1980's to ‘professionalism’ in the 1990's. The 40'E chose mediocrity and commonness, however, likewise, a sense of ‘earnestness’ for life and family was looked upon as beautiful. For the 50's, comfort with a reserved tenure was frequently noted and for the 60's, women chose ‘health and independence’ as describing ideal beauty. The results from the research are justifiable because the articles are in a neutral perspective and are from the representative women's magazines. This research proved that the younger the age group, the more exterior beauty was considered, as opposed to the older generation who found inner beauty to be of most importance.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of the various knee angles and ground state on the muscular activities and fatigue of the ankle muscles by integrated electromyograms (iEMG) and median frequency of tibialis anterior (TA), peroneus longus (PL), flexor digitorum longus (FDL) and gastrocnemius (GC). Ten healthy male subjects were participated into stable and balance ball sessions at four angles of knee joint. The surface electromyograms (sEMG) were recorded from the TA, PL, FDL and GC on stable and balance ball with full weight bearing at four knee angles of $0^{\circ}$, $15^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$ and $45^{\circ}$. The time serial data of the surface electromyographic signals were transformed into integrated and frequency serial data by fast fourier transformation. On the stable ground, the iEMG signals of the TA, PL, FDL and GC were significantly higher at $45^{\circ}$ and $30^{\circ}$ of knee angles than $0^{\circ}$ and $15^{\circ}$ of knee flexion (p<0.05). On the balance ball, the iEMG of the TA, PL, FDL and GC were significantly higher at $45^{\circ}$ and $30^{\circ}$ of knee angles than $0^{\circ}$ and $15^{\circ}$ of knee flexion (p<0.05). The median frequency of the TA, PL, FDL and GC were significantly lower at $45^{\circ}$ and $30^{\circ}$ of knee angles than $0^{\circ}$ and $15^{\circ}$ of knee on the stable ground (p<0.05). On the balance ball, also the median frequency of the TA, PL, FDL and GC were significantly lower at $45^{\circ}$ and $30^{\circ}$ of knee angles than $0^{\circ}$ and $15^{\circ}$ of knee flexion (p<0.05). The iEMG of the TA, PL, FDL and GC were significantly higher on the balance ball at $0^{\circ}$, $15^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$ and $45^{\circ}$ of knee angles compared with stable ground. The median frequency of the TA, PL, FDL and GC were significantly lower on the balance ball at $0^{\circ}$, $15^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$ and $45^{\circ}$ of knee angles compared with stable ground. These results indicate that the ground conditions and angles of the knee joint involved to muscular activities and fatigue of ankles muscles, may performed at first on stable ground and then balance ball in order to $0^{\circ}$, $15^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$ and $45^{\circ}$ of knee flexion.

In this study attempted to evaluate the stability of the protection methods by examining hydraulic characteristics of the area around the point in which marine cable protector is installed such as surf zone occurrence point of shore-end submarine cables suitable for coastal marine environmental conditions, flow rate t the tope of the protector and maximum wave height, and to provide basic data for the selection of the optimal protection method. In performing hydraulic model experiments, the topography of submarine cable installation location was reproduced in 2-D sectional channel, and models appropriate for experimental scale and similitude law were produced and installed for each condition of submarine cables and protectors. Since the topography and submarine cable protectors were reproduced and installed in 2-D sectional channel, the exact reproduction of surf and transformation in shallow water zone was possible, and thus the physical properties could be clearly analyzed. For stability review, an experiment to examine the stability was conducted using a wave maker with 50-year frequency design waves as target, and wave height and cycles were applied based on the approximate lowest low water level(Approx. L.L.W), which is the most dangerous in submarine cable protection methods. As for experimental time, typhoon passing time in summer (about 3 hours) was applied, and wave patterns and deviation ratio of the submarine cable protector were investigated after making irregular waves corresponding to design waves. In addition, current meter and wave height meter were installed at the installation location of the submarine cable protector, and the flow rates and wave height at the top of the protector were measured and analyzed to review hydraulic properties.

Pin-punctured leaves induced numerous adventious buds in abaxial side when cultured on 3/2 MS medium containing 2.0 mg/L zeatin. Survival rate and shoot regeneration frequency of leaf explants decreased as kanamycin sulfate level increased. Shoot buds were not regenerated on 3/2 MS medium containing 10 mg/L kanamycin sulfate and 2.0 mg/L zeaein. Of the level tested, 10 mg/L of kanamycin sulfate was optimum in selection of kanamycin sulfate resistant plant. Co-culture time of bacteria and leaf explants was affected at the frequency of shoot regeneration and survival of leaf explants. Leaf explants co-cultivated during above 48hr severely decreased survival rate and shooting rate. Best result on survival rate and shooting rate were obtained when exposed for 24 h. 80 explants of 105 leaf explants survived on 3/2 MS medium containing 2.0 mg/L zeatin and 10 mg/L kanamycin sulfate, and 15 shoots was regenerated on the same medium. To select kanamycin sulfate resistant plant, regenerate as cultured on 3/2 MS medium containing 10 mg/L kanamycin sulfate, and obtained 5 kanamycin resistant plants. Southern blot analysis conformed that the rolC gene was incorporated into the genomic DNA of kanamycin resistant plants.

In order to improve the transformation efficiency of zoysiagrass by increasing the frequency of callus formation from mature seeds and plant regeneration, the effect of pre-treatment with sea sand was examined. Mature zoysiagrass seeds were given 10 min of swelling time before sea sand treatment using a sea sand and seed ratio of 1 : 1 and a vortex shaking speed of 6 (1,000 rpm) for 10 min. The seeds showed increased callus formation that was more than 2 times the rate in the control. In addition, plant regeneration efficiency was also increased when embryogenic callus induced from sea sand-treated mature seeds was cultured in regeneration medium. These results will be very helpful for improving the genetic transformation frequency of zoysiagrass, a recalcitrant monocot grass.

Real-time target signal processing techniques for FMCW LiDAR are described in this paper. FMCW LiDAR is gaining attention as the next-generation LiDAR for self-driving cars because of its detection robustness even in adverse environmental conditions such as rain, snow and fog etc. in addition to its long range measurement capability. The hardware architecture which is required for high-speed data acquisition, data transfer, and parallel signal processing for frequency-domain signal processing is described in this article. Fourier transformation of the acquired time-domain signal is implemented on FPGA in real time. The paper also details the C-FAR algorithm for ensuring robust target detection from the transformed target spectrum. This paper elaborates on enhancing frequency measurement resolution from the target spectrum and converting them into range and velocity data. The 3D image was generated and displayed using the 2D scanner position and target distance data. Real-time target signal processing and high-resolution image acquisition capability of FMCW LiDAR by using the proposed parallel signal processing algorithms based on FPGA architecture are verified in this paper.
This study intends to describe the characteristics of the transformation of the rural society by tracing the changing social and economic processes of traditional clan villiage (Yeolmi-ri, Silchon-myeon, Kwangju-gun, Kyunggi-province) in the suburbs of Seoul Metropolitan Area. Rural society has experienced serious change of the social structure by the ever expanding urbanization and industrialization since 1960's. The suburbs of Seoul Metropolitan Area is the representative case area of such transformation. This study analyzed various chracteristics of population structure of a villiage, the processes of residential movement and the occupational shift of each household of the villiage in terms of household's life-history collected by interviewing with each household. And the whole households of a villiage is divided by two groups of the native clan group and the non-dan in-migrant group. The results of this study are summarized as follows. 1) This villiage is located within a lineal distance of 40km and a time distance of about 30 to 40 minutes, adjoined dy the Joongbu(중부) national highway, the Kyungchoong (경충) industrial road, the local road between Yangpyuna(양평) and Gonjiam(곤지암) and having a advantageous iocational linkage to Seoul capital city. 2) It is a typical traditional dan villiae constituted of dan family Gu(구) one of whose ancestors had appointed to the prime minister of Chosun Dynasty, and until 1979, 56 out of 60 families of the villiage households were clan families. 3) Since 1979, as the villiage invaded by the out-movement of the small scale manufacturing industries from Seoul capital city, labours moved in this vallige from outside and increased villiage size up to 203 households in 1993, consequently the constitutional proportion between the native clan group and the non-clan in-migrant group was reversed up to 28% vs 72% deepening the sociological heterogeneity. 4) Because of the small scale of industries in this villiage and the vicinity with the city of Seoul, the population turnover of this villiage is very high. The turnover frequency is firstly high within same administrative district of gun(군) level and secondly high between this villiage and the city of Seoul. Thus short-distance movement is identified. 5) There is a close correlation between the residential movement and the occupational shift. The most numbers of non-farm native group have the experiences of migration while the members of native farming group don't shift both the job and the place of residence. The inmigrant group had several migration experiences but few occupational shifts. Thus occupatioanl shift is high for the native group while residential shift is high for the in-migrant group. It is concluded that the change proceeded in Metropolitan suburbs was not directed to form the traditional rural village as 'gesund Gebiet' with respect to the ballance among the economic, cultural and environmental adequency.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the acceleration of vibration by the powered hand tools used in the shipbuilding industry, and to develop the prospective prevalence model for the hand-arm vibration syndrome among the shipbuilding workers.The acceleration levels and frequencies of six types of grinder were measured using the ISO5349 method along with the time of exposure to the vibration from the powered hand tools. Medical examination for 114 workers were performed using the cold provocation test. Comparisons were made between the estimated prevalence of hand-arm vibration syndrome from ISO5349 and the observed values from the medical examinations. By multiple regression, we developed the prospective prevalence model of hand-arm vibration syndrome produced by the hand tools used in the shipbuilding industry. 4 hour-energy-equivalent frequency-weighted accelerations were $6.23m/s^2$ in the grinding job done after welding, and $13.39m/s^2$ in the grinding job done before painting. The mean exposure time while holding powered hand tools was 4.64 hours. Prevalence rates of Raynaud's Phenomenon were 12.04% in the grinding after soldering, and 42.9% in the grinding before painting measured using the ISO5349 method. After exposure to vibration for 10.79 years, about a half of the workers in the grinding after welding could developed Raynaud's Phenomenon. For the workers in the grinding before painting, the latency was 5.02 years. The ISO equation for dose response relationship was not significantly correlated with observed recovery rates of finger skin temperatures, blood flows and amplitudes of nerve conduction velocities. A multiple regression model for dose-response relationship was proposed from the results. Recovery rate of the skin temperatures = -0.668+ 0.337 ${\times}$ 4 hour energy equivalent frequency-weighted accelerations + 0.767 ${\times}$ duration of vibration exposure(years) The validity was proved by multiple regression analysis after correlation transformation and regression results based on model-building data and validation data.
This study is to analyze the kinematic variables of inward $1{\frac{1}{2}}$ somersault in platform diver. For the manner, 3 people form the national diving team in the year 2000were chosen as the subjects and two S-VHS video cameras set in 60frames/sec were used for recording their motions. Coordinated raw positions data through digitizing are smoothing by butter-worth's low-pass filterin method at a cut off frequency 6.0Hz. and the direct linear transformation(DLT) method was employed to obtain 3-D position coordinates. The conclusions were as follows. However, horizontal distance which is the change of the COG, form the point of the jump to the point of Event 3 where the player is out of the board range completely, Subject B showed 105.1cm and 71.1cm of the vertical distance which are shorter horizontal distance and higher vertical distance, thus, took a great advantage of the position to prepare for the entry. Therefore, if a player takes higher position by speeding up the vertical velocity at the moment of the jumping off the board, and stays in the air longer, the player can have more time to show his skill. Because of the use of the characteristics of the inward somersault, keeping the safe distance form the board is important but in order to higher the completeness, it is ideal to keep the horizontal distance little over 100cm. Also, the angles of shoulder and elbow from Event 1 to 4, depending on swing of the arms, motions in the air, getting ready for the entry, showed some difference individual by individual, according to the velocity of the thigh and shank showed much difference while getting ready and take-off, and it's because of the individual's different bending and straightening for horizontal and vertical distance.

The ability to predict radar return from flying vehicles becomes a critical technology issue in the development of stealth configurations. Toward developing a CEM code based on Maxwell's equations for analysis of RCS reduction schemes, an explicit upwind scheme suitable for multidisciplinary design is presented. The DFFT algorithm is utilized to convert the time-domain field values to the frequency-domain. A Green's function based on near field-to-far field transformation is also employed to calculate the bistatic RCS. To verify the numerical calculation the two-dimensional field around a perfectly conducting cylinder is considered. Finally results are obtained for the scattering electromagnetic field around an airfoil in order to illustrate the feasibility of applying CFD based methods to CEM.
