  • In this research, how the evaluation of the spacial image influenced by the environmental friendly elements included in the visual information, and how the selection of the sound changed depending on the characteristics of spatial image by the 40 subjects were carried out. Vast tracts of green land and the waterfront were highly preferred and impressive than the other spaces. The green music, signal with water sound and bird chirping sound were highly scored. In the frequency characteristics of the factors, the first factor was artificial sound(high at the low frequency band), the second was natural sound(uniform at all frequency band) and the third was water sound(high at the middle and high frequency band over 500Hz). This shows that the proposal of the sound which has the frequency characteristics fit to the spacial image should be selected for the soundscape of the target space.

  • This paper is aimed to improve performance of Band-Selection speech/audio Coder reconstucted band spectrum that is not sent by the comfort noise. To improve the performance, we use the Spectral Band Replication(SBR) technique instead of substitution of Comfort noise. To synthesize SBR signal, the SBR algorithm is referenced in selected signals and the spectrum synthesized by SBR is injected to non-selected band. Each sub-band spectrum has been energy-weighted by real audio signal. We propose the enhanced the Band-Selection Coder that utilizes synthesized SBR signal from selected signal instead of comfort noise.

  • The multi-band wireless local area network (WLAN) using 60 GHz band and the lower band (typically 2.4 GHz/5 GHz band) can support the very high data rate in short-distance communication using 60 GHz band and the long-distance communication using the lower band. For heightening the efficiency of multi-band WLAN, an band selection scheme is a necessity. In this paper, we propose an effective frequency band selection scheme for multi-band WLANs. By using computer simulation with NS-3, we show the performance of the proposed schemes when the stations suffer from the human blockage and the log-normal shadowing.

  • In this paper, we discuss frequency allocation and sharing for high speed radio access network in domestic 5㎓ the band. In order to evaluate the possibility of frequency sharing between meterological radar and high speed radio access network we analyses radio interference of meterological radar by means of minimum coupling loss method and Monte Carlo simulation And simulations show that it is necessary to use DFS(Dynamic Frequency Selection) scheme for frequency sharing between meterological radar and high speed radio access network.

  • In this paper, we proposed the frequency candidates band for the spectrum sharing through researching and analyzing the current status of the policy and the economic values which is actively conducted on the United States and Europe. To this end, we investigated to the status and problems with the frequency reallocation and arrangement in respond to the current frequency demand. To solve these frequency reallocation and arrangement method problems, we introduce to the concept and current status of policy for the frequency method progress by advanced countries mainly. Also the results of the economic value analysis introduced in terms of the operators. In addition, we proposed the assessment terms and criteria for the selection of frequency candidates band through joint research and analysis results.

  • Five broiler chicken lines, namely HC, BPB2, CPB2, PB2 and UM1, involving in a selection program and differing in selection intensity and genetic background, were screened for randomly amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) polymorphism using 10 selected decamer primers. Nine primers amplified the genomic DNA, generating 200 to 2,500 bp and all detected polymorphism between lines. Out of 74 bands scored using these primers, 34 (50.0%) were found to be polymorphic. The number of polymorphic loci ranged from 3 to 6 with an average of 4.33. Lines differed considerably for within-population genetic similarity estimated by band frequency (WS = 93.55 to 99.25). Between-line genetic similarity estimates based on band sharing as well as on band frequency ranged from 71.35 to 86.45 and from 73.38 to 87.68, respectively. Lines HC and PB2 were the most closely related to the other, while BPB2 and CPB2 appeared to be more distant from each other. The between-line genetic distance based on both band sharing and band frequency revealed the similar trends as for Between-line genetic similarity. Based on BS and BF criteria, BPB2 and CPB2 as well as PB2 and UM1 lines can be merged to launch a new genetic group for further progress in biometrical objectives. A phylogenetic tree, derived using Nei's coefficient of similarity revealed the different pattern of genetic distance between lines.

  • Muscle fatigue is characterized as a progressive increase in discomfort arising from the active muscle at moderate load levels are maintained. The median frequency is the most commonly used as a parameter to describe muscle fatigue. However, the estimate of the median frequency is difficult to indicate muscle fatigue because of its high standard deviation and instability. This paper investigates the power changes of the appropriate low frequency band as a fatigue parameter in EMG during isotonic exercise. To select the appropriate band, linear regression lines are employed to calculate the slopes and the coefficient of determination. Three females and seven males volunteered to participate in surface EMG recordings placed on the biceps brachii and each recording experiment continued until their exhaustion. The results of experiment shows that the power changes of the selected low frequency band (15~45 Hz) have linear slopes and high determinant coefficients. Therefore, this fatiguing parameter using the power changes of the low frequency band is valid to measure the state of muscular fatigue.

  • This paper is aimed to design 9.2 kbps low bits late transform excitation coder that target to voice and audio signal. To set up low bit rate, we used Band-selection in frequency domain and gain-shape quantization and AbS structure. To decrease lots of calculation from ABS structure, we used each band IDFT and synthesis. And we designed non-transfer band for performance by inserting comfort noise. We propose coder that has low bit rate and similar performance comparing with original 10.4 kbps AMR-WB+ TCX mode.
