A Study on Satisfaction for Free Food Service of Elementary and Middle School Parents in Chungnam Province (충남 학부모의 무상학교급식 만족도와 이에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 연구)

  • The aims of this study was to investigate the satisfactions with school food service and its influencing factors for elementary and middle school parents. We surveyed parents regarding their concerns about food ingredients and dietary life, perceptions of free school food service, the necessity of food supply systems such as school food service centers, and the satisfaction about the quality and management of school food services. Compared to the last year, concerns about food ingredients and dietary life as well as perceptions about free school food services decreased. The reported necessity of supply system such as school food service centers and co-purchasing was lower than in 2015. The satisfaction about the school food service decreased, compared to 2015. More individuals had higher concerns about local food and stated the necessity for school food supply systems, as well as a higher satisfaction about the quality and management of school food services. In conclusion, it is important to emphasize characteristics of school food services such as co-purchasing local foods.

The Recurrence Pattern of Primary External Auditory Canal Cancer (원발성 외이도암의 재발 양상)

  • Background/Objective: The survival and recurrence pattern of the patients with primary cancer of the external auditory canal was evaluated. Materials & Methods: Seventeen patients with primary cancer of the external auditory canal from 2002 to 2013 was analyzed retrospectively. Overall survival, recurrence free survival, local recurrence free survival and distant metastasis free survival was calculated by Kaplan-Meyer's method. Results: Five year overall survival rate, 5 year recurrence free survival rate, 5 year local recurrence free survival rate and 5 year distant metastasis free survival rate were 49.3% 54.9%, 64.7% and 69.6% respectively. The recurrence pattern is different to the pathologic type, squamous cell carcinoma or adenoid cystic carcinoma. The patients with squamous cell carcinoma showed local recurrence and the patients with adenoid cystic carcinoma showed distant metastasis mainly. Conclusion: Primary cancer of external auditory canal showed different clinical course depend on the pathologic diagnosis.

A Study of Curriculum of Clothings Area' Activity and Need at the Free Learning Semester (자유학기제에서 의생활 영역의 활동과 요구도)

  • This study determined the reality of how middle school students are doing with their free learning semester and what they think about it. Also, the study looked at how many parts of Home Economics and the area of clothing curriculum are being taken and, especially, how many parts of this curriculum content are being required as free learning semester activities. This study aims to not only develop free learning semester activities according to student demand but also at providing a basic resource that can help activate the area of clothing curriculum in subject of Home Economics. In short: 1) Middle school students are attending activities such as career exploration activities, student selection activities, club activities, arts activities and physical education activities thoroughly through the free learning semester. These mostly take place in school and most of the students were taught by teachers from their own school. 2) The students are aware that the free learning semester's activities are helpful for them. The most helpful part was that it reduces the load they get from the school's exam and also the fact that they can investigate areas in which they are interested. 3) The number of students who have already taken or are taking activities related to Home Economics were 145, which is about 1/3 of the 451 students overall. The area where the most of the activities were held out of those activities related to Home Economics was the domain of food while the clothing curriculum accounted for a very small part compared to it. 4) The study found that need for a clothing curriculum for middle school student free learning semesters was about 2.79 on a scale from 1 to 5. The areas of most interest in this topic were highly related to 'making and mending clothes'.

  • The objective of this study to investigate the satisfaction of elementary and middle school students in Chungnam province. We surveyed related to school food service, concerns about food ingredients and dietary life, perceptions of free school food service and satisfaction the quality and management of the school food service. Furthermore, this survey with the previous. Compared to year, frequency of education related to school food service and concerns about food ingredients and dietary life. Perception on free school food service increased 1.2%, not statistically significant. Satisfaction for the quality of the school food service statistically significant increase compared to 2015. ore individuals educated the foods' county-of-origin and a higher concern the food materials and dietary life, subsequently higher satisfaction for the quality and management of school food service. The results of this study suggest that concern and concentration on software of school food service such as education and guide are important.

  • The objective of this study is to investigate the perception and satisfaction of elementary and middle school students on free school food service. We surveyed education related to school food service, concerns about food ingredients, perceptions of free school food service and satisfaction for the quality of the school food service. The investigation is classified into two groups, schools that operate as a food service center or those that do not. Those who are provided food ingredients by school food service centers are educated about the agricultural products' country-of-origin and their environment-friendly food service. The more individuals are educated of the foods' county-of-origin and environment-friendly food service the more they will have a higher concern of the food materials and subsequently a higher satisfaction for the quality of school food service. School food service centers managed directly by the local government would probably receive higher satisfaction than those consigned to a private sector. The results of this study will be meaningful to establish policies on school food service and school food service centers.

  • This study aims to investigate the satisfactions with school food service for elementary and middle school parents. We surveyed parents about their concerns regarding food materials, the perception of free school food service, improvement of free school food service and satisfaction with the quality of school food service. The regions were classified into two categories according to the operation of a school food service center. The respondents with greater concern and cooperative purchase of food materials had higher satisfaction with the quality of school food service. It is interesting to note that school food service centers managed directly by the local government had higher satisfaction than those operated by private enterprises with respect to the quality of the school food service. The results of this study can contribute to the establishment of school food service and school food service center policies in the future.

Context-free Marker-controlled Watershed Transform for Over-segmentation Reduction

  • A modified watershed transform is proposed which is context-free marker-controlled and minima imposition-free to reduce the over-segmentation and to speedup the transform. In contrast to the conventional methods in which a priori knowledge, such as flat zones, zones of homogeneous texture, and morphological distance, is required for marker extraction, context-free marker extraction is proposed by using the attention operator based on the GST (generalized symmetry transform). By using the context-free marker, the proposed watershed transform exploit marker-constrained labeling to speedup the computation and to reduce the over-segmentation by eliminating the unnecessary geodesic reconstruction such as the minima imposition and thereby eliminating the necessity of the post-processing of region merging. The simulation results show that the proposed method can extract context-free markers inside the objects from the complex background that includes multiple objects and efficiently reduces over-segmentation and computation time.

  • Locking은 다중 스레드간의 경쟁 상태를 조절하기 위한 전통적인 메커니즘이다. 하지만 Locking을 사용할 경우, 공유 데이터에 대한 잠금(lock) 및 해제(unlock)에 따른 대기 시간(waiting time)이 발생하며, 이는 전체 시스템 성능을 저하시킨다. Wait-free 동기화는 이러한 전통적인 Locking의 비용을 줄이고자 하는 기법이다. Wait-free 동기화의 기본 아이디어는 공유 데이터 수정 시 복제본을 생성해 처리함으로써 잠금에 따른 대기시간을 제거하는 것이다. 따라서 Wait-free 동기화 기법에서는 복제본생성 이후의 메모리 해제가 가장 큰 비용을 차지한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 Wait-free 동기화 및 메모리 해제 기법과 관련하여 주요 이슈 및 기술 현황에 대한 분석을 실시하였다.

  • Embryonic stem cell classically cultured on feeder layer with FBS contained ES medium. Feeder-free mouse ES cell culture systems are essential to avoid the possible contamination of nonES cells. First we determined the difference between ES cell and MEF by Oct4 population. We demonstrate to culture and to induce differentiation on feeder free condition using a commercially available mouse ES cell lines.

The Reconstruction of Hand with Microsurgery (미세수술을 이용한 수부 재건술)

  • The authors analyzed the clinical results of the reconstructive surgery for injuried hand with microsurgery in 33 patients, 35 cases at the department of orthopaedic surgery, school of medicine, Kyung Hee university from 1985 to 1992 and the results were as followings. 1. There were 31 men and 4 women who had a mean age of 23 years(range, 3 to 44 years) and the follow up evaluations averaged 19 months. 2. The causes of the injury were machinery injury in 25 cases, traffic accident in 2, frostbite in 4, burn in 3 and fall down in 1. 3. For the reconstructive procedure, scapular free flap was applied in 6 cases, radial forearm flap in 7, dorsalis pedis free flap in 4, neurovascular island flap in 6, gracilis free flap in 1, wrap around flap in 6, toe to thumb in 5. 4. 32 cases(91.4%)were successful in reconstructive surgery with microsurgery exept the failure of scapular free flap in 2 cases and dorsalis pedis free flap in 1. 5. The causes of failure in scapular free flap were infection in 1 case and thrombosis in 1. In dorsalis pedis free flap, the cause of failure was infection. In the analysis of above results, the reconstruction with microsurgery was effective procedure for reconstruction of injuried hand.
